# Wikilix > An independent reference for retail trading: broker profiles, regulator > records, licence data and prop-firm comparisons. Every broker entry is scored > across regulation, licensing, software, spreads, account types and symbols, > and cross-checked against the issuing regulator's own register. Only the English site is published; /fr redirects to /en. ## Directories - [Brokers](https://wikilix.com/en/brokers): searchable directory of every listed broker, filterable by regulator, licence, leverage and score - [Top rated brokers](https://wikilix.com/en/brokers/top-rated): brokers ranked by overall score - [Scam alerts](https://wikilix.com/en/brokers/scam-alerts): brokers flagged as unregulated or reported - [Regulators](https://wikilix.com/en/regulators): financial regulators and the brokers they license - [Licence lookup](https://wikilix.com/en/licenses): every broker licence on record, searchable by licence number, holder or issuing authority - [Prop firms](https://wikilix.com/en/prop): proprietary trading firms with challenge terms and payout rules ## Measured spreads Spreads on this site are MEASURED, not supplied by the broker. We hold a real MetaTrader 5 account at each covered broker and read every price it sends, every ten minutes, across ten instruments; each spread is weighted by how long it held and ten-minute windows less than 95% complete are discarded. No trade is ever placed. - [Spread comparison](https://wikilix.com/en/spread-meter): every covered broker against every instrument, ranked; the cheapest per instrument is marked. Anchors: `#cheapest-spreads`, `#full-comparison`, `#how-we-measure`, `#spread-meter-faq`, and `#cheapest-` for one instrument's ranking. Each covered broker also has its own page at `https://wikilix.com/en/brokers//spreads` with the per-instrument table, the hourly/daily/monthly history, the account type the figures were measured on and the MT5 server it is on. The broker's main page carries a summary of the same measurement at `#live-spreads`. Example: https://wikilix.com/en/brokers/otetmarkets/spreads ## Licence records Every licence is addressable under its holder at `https://wikilix.com/en/brokers//licenses//` — for example https://wikilix.com/en/brokers/admirals/licenses/financial-conduct-authority/597338. A licence with no number recorded uses `licence-` as its last segment. Each record states what the issuing register publishes (number, the legal entity it was issued to, licence type, dates, status wording), what Wikilix checked and when, and what the issuing authority's own regime protects — compensation scheme, fund segregation, negative-balance protection, complaints route and leverage cap. A field that is absent was never recorded, and is deliberately shown as nothing rather than as "none": roughly a third of licences carry no number and about half have never been checked against a register, and the record says so explicitly rather than implying a finding nobody made. These are records of Wikilix's own checking; Wikilix does not issue or endorse authorisations. All the licences one broker holds are collected at `https://wikilix.com/en/brokers//licenses`. ## Broker terms reports Each broker with a published reading has its own report at `https://wikilix.com/en/brokers//behind-terms-and-conditions`: the clauses that broker publishes but keeps un-prominent, read out of its own legal documents. Every finding is quoted verbatim with its clause number, the page it sits on and a link to the source document, and carries its own anchor (`#term-`) and an exhibit number, so a single clause can be cited directly. Where a clause acts in stages, the schedule is a table. Where a top-tier regulator has a settled requirement on the same subject, the finding states it alongside; those firms are not the broker's regulators, so it is a comparison of practice and never an allegation of a breach. How the reading was done, how many documents were found against how many were read, sits at `#method`. The broker's main page carries a summary of the same reading at `#hidden-terms`.
