About Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange

The Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (ICDX), officially known as PT Bursa Komoditi dan Derivatif Indonesia (BKDI), is the leading commodity and derivatives exchange in Indonesia.

Established in 2009, it is a leading player in the commodities and derivatives space in Indonesia, providing a safe, transparent, and efficient marketplace for managing opportunities.

ICDX provides an exchange trading platform for a range of commodities and financial instruments, including, but not limited to, gold, crude oil, crude palm oil (CPO), and tin.

In addition to commodities, the ICDX also enables trading in derivatives on securities, money markets, and foreign exchange markets, thereby underpinning Indonesia's national interests within the global economy.

The exchange provides serious oversight into its constituents' actions through significant regulatory standards to assure fairness and accountability, through supervision and regulatory actions of CoFTRA (Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency), the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and Bank Indonesia (BI).

Transactions on the exchange are cleared and settled through the Indonesia Clearing House (ICH), which guarantees the integrity and security of the marketplace.

The ICDX has also established an intelligent ecosystem to support the exchange through ICDX Logistik Berikat (ILB), its logistics arm, to create a reliable and regulated marketplace that reflects the interests of its stakeholders.

ICDX, by attracting a diverse mix of institutional investors, trading companies, and traders or speculators, has created significant liquidity depth in its market, bringing opportunities for improved price discovery and enhancing risk management processes.
