Is FX24 a scam?

Confirmed scamHIGH confidence
Updated September 16, 2026
Fake-regulation unlicensed broker (now defunct)

Yes. FX24 (fx24.one) shows the hallmarks of a scam broker, and it now appears defunct. Italy's market regulator CONSOB ordered the website blocked as an unauthorised operator, and the Financial Commission, the industry body FX24 advertised membership of, placed it on its warning list.

  • Italy's CONSOB ordered fx24.one blocked in February 2021 as an unauthorised financial service, naming its operator Swiss Management Corporation Ltd.
  • The Financial Commission warned on 1 February 2021 that FX24 'may be used to scam and defraud traders and investors'.
  • Its 'regulation' was not real: an IFMRC certificate (IFMRC is not a genuine regulator) and a Saint Vincent company number presented as a licence.
  • Independent reviews report deposits taken and withdrawals then refused, with bonus terms used to block cash-outs.
  • Both fx24.one and fx24.live no longer resolve, and the main domain has been dropped, so the operation looks abandoned.

Risk scorecard

Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.

Worst area: Critical
SeverityLowModerateHighCritical

Regulation

7/10 · High

No genuine regulator. IFMRC is a fabricated certification body, the Saint Vincent number is a company registration, and CONSOB blocked the site while the Financial Commission warned against it.

Identity & transparency

9/10 · Critical

Offshore Saint Vincent shell trading under a 'Swiss' name, a UK holding company at an accommodation-style address, and credentials issued by a fake regulator.

Withdrawals & conduct

8/10 · Critical

Independent reviews describe deposits taken and withdrawals refused (fund integrity), and the Financial Commission warned it may be used to defraud; individual transaction records could not be independently confirmed.

Reputation

9/10 · Critical

A national regulator block, a dispute-body warning, and consistent scam reports, with no credible positive track record.

Website claims

9/10 · Critical

Presented an IFMRC certificate and a company registration as regulation, and advertised 20,000 EUR insurance it could not honour.

Operational history

7/10 · High

Ran roughly 2019 to 2022 then was abandoned; both domains have since been dropped.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

  • Brand: FX24
  • Legal entity: Swiss Management Corporation Ltd, a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines IBC (24447 IBC 2015), trading as 'FX24 Ltd.'. A UK company, FX24 LIMITED (11107407), shares the brand name.
  • Registered: Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (offshore). The UK company lists 75 Blackwell Road, Coventry.
  • Website: fx24.one and fx24.live, both of which no longer resolve.
  • Only licence: None. No genuine regulator. It claimed an IFMRC certificate and a Saint Vincent registration, neither of which is a trading licence.
  • Offers: Retail forex and CFD trading with deposit bonuses.
  • Not accepted: Italian residents were blocked by CONSOB in 2021.
  • Age claim: Site branded '© 2019 FX24 Ltd.' and claimed Financial Commission membership 'since 2020'; the domain dates to May 2019.
FX24's own regulation page (archived December 2021), presenting an IFMRC certificate and a Saint Vincent registration as its regulation.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We tied every finding below directly to fx24.one and its operator Swiss Management Corporation Ltd, not to the brand name alone.

  • A national regulator acted against it. CONSOB (Italy) ordered fx24.one blocked on 26 February 2021 as an unauthorised financial service, naming Swiss Management Corporation Ltd.
  • Its own dispute body warned against it. The Financial Commission placed FX24 on its warning list on 1 February 2021, stating the company 'may be used to scam and defraud traders and investors'.
  • The regulation was fabricated. The site presented an IFMRC certificate (number NOR34673T). IFMRC is a self-created website, not a regulator. It also showed a Saint Vincent company number (24447 IBC 2015) as if it were a licence; Saint Vincent does not license forex brokers.
  • No real oversight anywhere. The operation is not authorised by the FCA or any recognised regulator; the only UK company with the name is a financial-services holding company, not a broker.
  • Money did not come back. Independent reviews describe deposits accepted and withdrawals then refused, with bonus conditions used to block cash-outs.
  • It is now defunct. Both domains have stopped resolving and the main domain has been dropped.

On this record we assess the risk of fraud as high.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

In fairness, a few points cut the other way, and we weighed them.

  • FX24 ran a working MetaTrader-style brokerage for roughly three years (2019 to 2022), so it was more than an empty landing page.
  • A real UK company, FX24 LIMITED, exists and files accounts, and the Saint Vincent company registration is genuine as a company record.
  • While FX24 was a member, the Financial Commission did provide a dispute channel with advertised insurance of up to 20,000 EUR.

None of this amounts to regulation. A company registration is not a licence, a private dispute body is not a supervisor, and both the regulator and that dispute body ended up acting against this exact website. The innocent readings do not survive the record.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

We would revisit this verdict if:

  • the CONSOB block and the Financial Commission warning turned out to name a different operator than fx24.one and Swiss Management Corporation Ltd;
  • a genuine licence from a recognised regulator (for example the FCA, CySEC or ASIC) covering the entity that held client funds came to light;
  • there were credible, verifiable evidence that clients could withdraw their balances in full and on time.

Absent those, the scam classification stands.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

12 questions
Is FX24 (fx24.one) a scam?

The evidence points that way. Italy's regulator CONSOB ordered the website blocked as an unauthorised operator, and the Financial Commission placed FX24 on its warning list, saying it may be used to scam and defraud traders. Its 'regulation' was fake and the site is now offline.

Is FX24 a fraud?

No court has ruled on it, so we do not state that as a fact. The Financial Commission warned that FX24 may be used to scam and defraud traders and investors, and on the wider record we assess the risk of fraud as high. Treat the platform as unsafe.

Is FX24 regulated?

No. It advertised an IFMRC certificate and a Saint Vincent company number, but IFMRC is not a real regulator and a company registration is not a trading licence. There is no FCA or other recognised authorisation.

Can I withdraw my money from FX24?

Independent reviews report that withdrawals were refused and accounts locked, often after bonus conditions were applied. The website no longer works, which makes recovering funds through the platform very unlikely. Use your bank or card chargeback route instead.

Is my money safe with FX24?

No. With no genuine regulator there is no compensation scheme and no authority to escalate to. Client funds were never protected.

Who owns FX24?

The operator on its own documents is Swiss Management Corporation Ltd, registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. A separate UK company, FX24 LIMITED (11107407), shares the brand name but is a financial-services holding company, not the licensed broker.

What is IFMRC and is it a real regulator?

IFMRC (International Financial Market Regulation Center) is a self-created website that issues certificates to brokers. It has no government status and is widely treated as a scam indicator. An IFMRC licence is worth nothing.

Was FX24 really a member of the Financial Commission?

It claimed membership since 2020, but the Commission put FX24 on its warning list on 1 February 2021. The Financial Commission is a private dispute-resolution body, not a regulator, and membership is not a licence.

What does the Saint Vincent registration (24447 IBC 2015) mean?

It is only a company registration, an International Business Company number. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines does not license or supervise forex brokers, so this number gives clients no protection.

Why doesn't the FX24 website open?

Both fx24.one and fx24.live have stopped resolving, and the main domain is no longer registered. The operation appears to have been abandoned.

Is fx24.one the same as other brokers called FX24?

Not necessarily. Several unrelated operations use the FX24 name under different companies and domains. This report is only about fx24.one and its operator Swiss Management Corporation Ltd.

What should I do if I was scammed by FX24?

Contact your bank or card provider about a chargeback as soon as possible, and report the loss to your national financial regulator and the police. Do not pay any recovery agent who asks for a fee to get your money back.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Our recommendation:

  • Do not deposit. The site is offline, unregulated, and carries a regulator block and a dispute-body warning.
  • If you already deposited, ask your bank or card issuer about a chargeback, and report the case to your national financial regulator and police.
  • Beware follow-up 'recovery' offers. People who lost money to sites like this are often targeted again by fake fund-recovery services that ask for an upfront fee.
  • For the platform: keep FX24 flagged as a scam and keep this report visible.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
