Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
9/10 · CriticalNo forex or investment licence on any register; a Saint Lucia IBC is not a licence and the UAE regulator lists no such firm, yet it took client deposits for leveraged trading.
Identity & transparency
6/10 · HighA legal entity and addresses are shown, but the company is not on any public registry, the owners are undisclosed and the Dubai 'office' is a gold-market address.
Withdrawals & conduct
4/10 · ModerateNo verified withdrawal or fund-loss complaints were found, but with the site now offline there is no way to confirm client funds were returned.
Reputation
6/10 · HighNo genuine user reviews exist on Trustpilot, Reddit or forums; the only third-party coverage is warning-style 'is it a scam' pages flagging it as unregulated.
Website claims
5/10 · ModerateThe 'Established 2024' claim is truthful and no fake licence is claimed, but an offshore registration plus a Dubai office are used to imply a legitimacy the firm does not have.
Operational history
6/10 · HighAbout two years old on the domain (company undatable); it ran for roughly 18 months and is now defunct, so the track record is short and unproven.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
We rate Jewel Markets high-risk and unverified. It took deposits for leveraged trading while holding no licence anywhere, and the operation has since disappeared. That is a dangerous mix, but it is not the same as a proven scam, and we did not find the regulator warning, court case or consistent theft pattern that a scam label needs.
- No regulation. The website named no regulator and no licence number. Its only registration is a Saint Lucia International Business Company, which is company paperwork and not a financial licence, and Saint Lucia does not license forex trading.
- Not authorised where it operated. It advertised a Dubai office and a UAE phone, yet the UAE Capital Market Authority register (formerly the Securities and Commodities Authority) lists no company called Jewel Markets.
- The company could not be verified. Saint Lucia's public company registry returns no record for Jewel Markets Ltd and does not publish International Business Company records, so the entity could not be confirmed or dated.
- The site has gone dark. fxjmarkets.com now resolves to a parked-domain page; archived copies show it operating into late 2025 and then showing 'operation suspended' by early 2026.
- Young and trace-less. The domain is about two years old and there is no genuine review footprint, so a clean-looking record here proves very little.
- Why the figure is 65 percent. Because the operation is under three years old and left almost no public trace, the published risk is held at this level. It reflects a young, now-defunct and unlicensed profile, not a theft we have proven.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The domain fxjmarkets.com was registered on 30 August 2024, making the operation about two years old and consistent with its 'Established in 2024' claim.
ModerateVerisign RDAP (domain record)E2The broker's own archived homepage names no regulator and no licence number; it lists only a Saint Lucia registered office and a Dubai office while offering leveraged trading on MetaTrader 5.
E3The UAE Capital Market Authority (formerly the Securities and Commodities Authority) licensed-companies register returns no result for Jewel Markets, so it holds no UAE authorisation despite advertising a Dubai office and a +971 phone.
E4Saint Lucia's public company registry returns no record for Jewel Markets Ltd; Saint Lucia registers offshore companies through agents and does not license forex trading.
E5fxjmarkets.com no longer serves a website and now resolves to a GoDaddy parked-domain page; archived copies show it displayed 'operation suspended' by March 2026.
E6No Trustpilot profile exists for fxjmarkets.com and no Reddit or forum complaint threads could be found, so there is no genuine user-review footprint either for or against the broker.
ModerateTrustpilotE7No regulator warning or alert (FCA, DFSA, UAE, IOSCO or ASIC) names Jewel Markets or fxjmarkets.com.
ModerateRegulator warning-list sweep (FCA, DFSA, UAE authorities, IOSCO, ASIC)E8An independent broker-review aggregator lists Jewel Markets as unregulated and high-risk, stating that no forex trading licence was found.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
In fairness, here is the case for the other side and what we checked.
- Not a clone. Jewel Markets does not copy the name, licence or branding of a well-known regulated firm, so this is not an impersonation case.
- No fake licence. Unlike many bad brokers, it did not claim a false FCA, ASIC or CySEC licence and did not invent a licence number. Its 'Established in 2024' claim is truthful.
- No confirmed victims. We found no Trustpilot reviews, no Reddit threads and no first-hand complaints about blocked withdrawals or stolen funds.
- No regulator warning. No FCA, DFSA, UAE, IOSCO or ASIC alert names this brand or domain.
- A dead site is not automatically a theft. The shutdown could reflect a failed business rather than an exit scam; without a complaint cluster we cannot say which.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
This verdict would move if any of the following turned up.
- A regulator warning or alert naming fxjmarkets.com or Jewel Markets Ltd would push it toward a scam finding.
- Several independent clients describing the same blocked-withdrawal pattern, with amounts and dates, would do the same.
- A demand for an extra payment (a 'tax' or 'release fee') before funds are returned would be decisive.
- On the other side, a genuine in-force licence for Jewel Markets Ltd on a real regulator's register would lower the risk.
- Primary-registry proof that the company exists, is in good standing and wound down in an orderly way would also help.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is Jewel Markets a scam?
We rate it high-risk and unverified rather than a confirmed scam. It held no licence, took client deposits and has now shut down, so it is unsafe to use. We did not find a regulator warning or a proven pattern of stolen funds that a scam label would require.
Is Jewel Markets a fraud?
No court or regulator has ruled that Jewel Markets committed fraud, and we found no fraud case naming it. What we can say is that it operated with no financial licence and has since disappeared, so we assess the risk of losing money with it as high.
Is Jewel Markets regulated?
No. There is no forex or investment licence for Jewel Markets on any regulator's register. Its Saint Lucia registration is a company registration, not a licence, and Saint Lucia does not license forex trading.
Is Jewel Markets regulated in the UAE or Dubai?
No. It advertised a Dubai office, but the UAE Capital Market Authority register (formerly the Securities and Commodities Authority) lists no company called Jewel Markets, and it does not appear on the DFSA register either.
Can I still use fxjmarkets.com?
No. The website no longer works and now shows a parked-domain page. There is no live platform to trade on.
Can I withdraw my money from Jewel Markets?
With the site offline and no regulator to appeal to, recovering a balance will be difficult. Keep all of your records and speak to your bank about a chargeback as soon as possible.
Is my money safe with Jewel Markets?
No. Unregulated brokers hold client money with no segregation rules, no compensation scheme and no supervisor. With this one now offline, funds cannot be assumed to be safe.
Who owns Jewel Markets?
The site named a company, Jewel Markets Ltd in Saint Lucia, but no individual owners or directors are disclosed, and the company could not be confirmed on a public registry.
How old is Jewel Markets?
Its domain was registered in August 2024 and the site said it was 'Established in 2024'. It operated for roughly a year and a half before going offline, so it is a young, short-lived operation.
Is Jewel Markets a clone of another broker?
No. It does not copy the name, licence or branding of a known regulated firm, so it is not a clone or impersonation case.
What is a Saint Lucia IBC, and is it a licence?
An International Business Company is a low-cost offshore company registration. It is not a financial licence, it gives clients no protection, and Saint Lucia's regulator does not license or supervise forex brokers.
What should I do if I was scammed by Jewel Markets?
Stop sending money, gather your evidence, request a chargeback through your bank or card issuer, and report it to your national regulator and the police. Ignore anyone who offers to recover your funds for an upfront fee, as that is usually a second scam.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
For anyone considering or already using Jewel Markets:
- Do not send new money. The site is offline and no regulator stands behind it.
- Save your records now. Deposit receipts, statements, chat logs and any account manager's name.
- Ask about a chargeback. Contact your bank or card provider quickly, as time limits apply.
- Report it. Tell your national financial regulator and the police cybercrime unit.
- Avoid recovery offers. Anyone promising to get your money back for an upfront fee is almost always a second scam.
This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
