Most Popular Questions

The operating company was registered in Cyprus on 21 June 2019 and has held its Cyprus Investment Firm licence since 8 February 2021, so it has roughly six years as a company and five as a licensed firm. That is long enough to be more than a new launch, but short of the record a client would want when judging how a broker behaves under stress.

In certain circumstances the Terms of Business say it can. Clause 11.3 reserves the right to reverse accumulated profits where the company suspects swap abuse, riskless profit taking or a strategy it deems a threat to its trading facility, and clause 11.2 allows an administration fee of 10 per cent of deposited funds, capped at 200 dollars, in latency arbitrage cases. These clauses are worth reading in full before depositing, particularly for anyone running automated or high frequency strategies.

By live chat advertised as 24/5, by email at support@redmars.eu or backoffice@redmars.eu, by telephone on +357 25252277 or +357 22007328, and through a ticket based help desk inside the client dashboard. The site is published in English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Swedish and Arabic. The footer's social media icons are not linked to any account.

The company states that client money is held in segregated bank accounts and that clients are covered by the Cyprus Investor Compensation Fund up to 20,000 euros, and every published account carries negative balance protection. Those protections follow from the Cyprus licence. The Investor Compensation Fund policy document itself is listed on the legal documents page but is not retrievable from it, so the detail of the cover could not be read.

The site's restricted regions notice names the United States, Iran, Myanmar and North Korea, and adds a general reference to other high risk jurisdictions without listing them. It also states that leveraged contracts for difference are prohibited to residents of Belgium. The registration form that would show the full accepted country list did not respond during this review, so the complete onboarding list could not be confirmed.

The company states it aims to process a withdrawal request on the same day it is made, or the next working day if it arrives outside business hours, and that a bank wire may then take up to five working days to reach the client. Money has to go back to the account, card or wallet it came from, and the first deposit in particular is returned to its source. The review found no independent evidence of how withdrawals perform in practice.

The company shows bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and the payment provider Unlimit, and its Terms of Business accept bank transfer, debit and credit cards and electronic wallets where the originator is the client. It charges no company fee on wire deposits or withdrawals, though banks and card processors may charge their own. There is no dedicated funding page, so per method fees, minimums and limits are not published.

Contracts for difference across five classes: 80 currency pairs, 43 index CFDs, more than 3,000 share CFDs, commodity CFDs covering metals, energies and agriculture, and crypto CFDs on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Stellar and others. These are leveraged contracts for difference, not ownership of the underlying asset.

MetaTrader 5 only, offered as a desktop build for Windows and Mac, as mobile apps for iOS and Android, and as a browser based WebTrader. The company publishes its own MT5 installer. There is no MetaTrader 4 and no proprietary platform, so anyone tied to an MT4 expert advisor will need to move it.

Yes, and it starts early. Clause 13 of the Terms of Business charges an account with no trading activity for two months a one off fee of 20 euros, then 10 euros for every further month of inactivity. Depositing or withdrawing without placing a trade does not reset the clock. After two years of inactivity the company may close the account, though it states the money remains owing to the client.

On the Standard and Micro accounts there is no commission and the cost sits in the spread, quoted as an average of 1.2 pips. The published pricing table shows a minimum spread of 0.2 and a typical spread of 0.7 on EURUSD, and 9 and 17 on gold. The Prime account charges 3.5 euros per lot per side against spreads from 0.0 pips. Spreads float and widen in volatile conditions.

Retail clients are capped at 1:30, which is the limit the Cyprus regulator applies. Clients who qualify for and elect professional categorisation are offered up to 1:500 on forex, 1:100 on commodities, 1:20 on indices, 1:5 on shares and 1:2 on cryptocurrencies. Professional status requires meeting two of three tests on trading frequency, a portfolio above 500,000 euros, or a year in a relevant financial role, and it is not something a beginner should elect into lightly.

250 dollars for the Standard and Micro accounts, which are the entry tiers. The Prime account requires 5,000 and the VIP account 50,000 euros. A demo account is free.

Nothing found in this review points to fraud. The company exists, is registered and active, and holds a real licence in an EU jurisdiction with a compensation scheme. What the review did find were operational and disclosure gaps rather than deception: the client login and registration portal did not respond, most of the policy documents listed on the legal page cannot be downloaded, and two other domains under the brand are not serving a site. Treat it as a real but thinly maintained operation rather than a confirmed safe one.

RedMars is operated by Red Mars Capital Ltd, a private limited company registered in Cyprus on 21 June 2019 under number HE 399243 and shown as active on the Cyprus companies register. Its registered office is at Vision Hire Court, Marikas Kotopouli, 3030 Limassol, which is the same address the website publishes. The register also records two directors and a company secretary, so the people behind the firm are identifiable.

RedMars has one licence record with Wikilix, issued by one authority across one jurisdiction. A licence on record means an authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement, and Wikilix does not issue authorisations.
RedMars holds licence records issued by CySEC. Each authority’s own record — its tier, jurisdiction and client-protection rules — is linked from this page.
One of the licence records held by RedMars comes from tier-1 or tier-2 authorities (0 tier-1, 1 tier-2). Those regimes set the strictest capital, reporting and client-money requirements.
We located 1 of the 1 licence records held by RedMars on the issuing authority’s own register. Every entry has been looked up. An unchecked entry is a gap in our coverage, not a finding against the licence.
The registers print them under RED MARS CAPITAL LTD. A licence is often held by a subsidiary rather than the trading brand, which is why searching a register for the brand name alone can return nothing.
RedMars has licence records in Cyprus. A licence applies in the jurisdiction that issued it; it does not by itself cover clients elsewhere.
