Register says
Active on the BAPPEBTI register but registered to PT Panen Kapital Berjangka, formerly PT Universal Futures, not to this operation

Finding

Indonesia's Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency, the statutory regulator for futures brokers. A real and meaningful licence, but this one is registered to PT Panen Kapital Berjangka, not to this website. Client protection: Genuine protection for clients of the licence holder, including segregated client accounts named on the register. None of it extends to this website, which is not the registered site for this licence..

BAPPEBTI is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Questions about this licence

Answered from this register entry and the authority’s own record.

Most Popular Questions

Take the exact legal company name and the exact licence number the broker publishes, and check them yourself on the relevant authority's own register. A brand name, a logo, an impressive office address or a listing on a comparison site is not verification. If the broker cannot give you a company name and a licence number that check out, do not deposit.

There is no evidence of any client-money protection. Segregated accounts, a compensation scheme and an ombudsman all depend on supervision by a financial regulator, and no such supervision was confirmed. Treat any money sent there as unprotected.

The brand appears to have been operating for a few years, but we could not verify an incorporation date against any company registry, so its true age is unestablished.

We do not have proof of fraud, and we do not call it one. What we can say is that none of the basic protections a client relies on could be confirmed: no licence, no verified operating company, no working website and no confirmed office at the address published. That combination is high risk, and WIKILIX advises against depositing money with it.

The published channels are the telephone number +62 21 2918 1729 and the email address cs@universal-futures.com. We were not able to confirm that either is monitored, and no live chat or support portal could be verified.

Unknown. The client agreement, any restricted-countries page, the signup form's country list, the AML policy, the funding page and the footer disclaimer were all unreachable, so we hold no country policy for this broker and make no claim about who it accepts or refuses.

No funding or withdrawal channels, fees, limits or processing times could be verified. With the website offline, there is also no practical route to submit a withdrawal request. Anyone who currently holds a balance there should document everything they have and take advice.

We could not confirm any. No platform list, server name or download link was verifiable from the operator during our review.

Unknown. No leverage figure could be verified from the operator, so we publish none rather than repeat an unsourced number.

We do not publish one. The operator's website was unavailable, so no account minimum could be verified from the operator itself, and we do not publish figures we cannot source.

Every request we made to universal-futures.com returned an origin server failure, on the home page and on each language path we tried, using both an ordinary connection and a full browser. That is the operator's own server failing rather than a block on us. A trading site that will not load is also a site through which you cannot reach your account or request a withdrawal.

We have no evidence that they are connected. A separately established Indonesian futures brokerage uses a similar name and operates from a different domain. Do not assume a licence held by that firm covers this website. Brand names are widely reused in this industry, and identity rests on the domain, the legal entity and the licence number, never on the name.

The operator is not identified by a registered company name and number that we could verify. The brand publishes a Jakarta office address and an Indonesian telephone number, but no legal entity, incorporation number or jurisdiction of incorporation was confirmable during our review.

Not as far as WIKILIX could establish. We found no confirmed forex or futures licence for the operator of universal-futures.com, and its own website was offline throughout our review, so any regulatory claim it may publish could not be read or tested. We class it as unregulated on the evidence available.

Licence 13/BAPPEBTI/SI/03/2008 was issued by Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komodit (BAPPEBTI), the financial authority for Indonesia.
Universal Futures holds this BAPPEBTI licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the BAPPEBTI register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
Wikilix rates BAPPEBTI tier 3. Supervision is lighter-touch and client protections vary.
Yes, BAPPEBTI is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
