Every clause below is published by ABB Invest itself, on its own website, today. The finding is not that the text exists. It is the distance between what a client is shown and what a client agreed to. Read from its own documents on .

hidden feedeemed acceptancesole discretionunilateral amendmentunpublished documentwithdrawalsbest executionclient classificationconflict of interestcontradiction

ABB-İnvest can cancel every trade result on your account, going back to the day it gave you better terms. Your investment account can be emptied to pay a debt you owe ABB Bank or a firm in its group. Signing counts as asking to be treated as a professional investor. The fee schedule changed four times in six months, and the contract promises you no notice.

What the documents say

18 clauses worth knowing about, worst first, each quoted from ABB Invest's own files

01

If ABB-İnvest decides your trading counts as scalping, clause 9.41 lets it cancel every result from the moment that trading began. Clause 9.40 reaches further back, to the day it gave you the better terms.

Why this matters

Your profit is only yours until ABB-İnvest reviews how you made it. Clause 1.40 defines scalping as trading without analysis, in an undisciplined way, inside small price ranges. Nobody has to agree with that reading before your profit goes.

02

Owe money to ABB Bank or to one of its subsidiaries, and clause 4.2.6 lets ABB-İnvest take it from your investment account. Clause 4.2.17 also lets it freeze the account and block every payment in or out.

Why this matters

A late payment at the bank can reach the money you set aside to trade. Nothing in the clause caps the amount, and your instruction is not needed.

Our readingSet-off inside one firm is ordinary. This clause reaches obligations owed to a separate company, the founder bank, to that bank's subsidiaries and to firms it cooperates with, and it works without the client's instruction.

03

Your signature is treated as a written application to be classified as a professional investor, under clause 9.59. The same clause treats you as declaring that you know every risk in margin trading.

Why this matters

Professional investors lose the protections retail clients get. ABB-İnvest's own trading conditions page exempts them from the demo training rule. Clause 9.31 allows them a higher credit limit.

Exhibit 3CriticalRarely seen

Müştəri bu Standart şərtlərlə tanış olmaqla və müvafiq Müqaviləni imzalamaqla peşəkar investor statusunun verilməsi barədə yazılı müraciət (ərizə) etmiş hesab edilir.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), ESMA (EU)

Firms licensed by the FCA, and firms under ESMA rules, must test a client against set criteria before treating them as professional, and must have the client ask for that treatment in writing. This contract treats the signature itself as the request.

ABB Invest is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

Our readingClient classification normally starts with a request the client makes on purpose. Here one signature is deemed to be that request, for everyone who signs.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 5The status deemed to be requested is the one that removes the training rule and raises the credit limit behind your positions.
04

You have to ask in advance about the execution costs that do not belong to ABB-İnvest, under clause 4.3.3. If you do not ask, the clause says you are fully informed about them.

Why this matters

Venue payments, clearing fees and third party charges come out of your money. The fee schedule states that it lists ABB-İnvest's own commissions only, and not asking is treated as knowing.

Exhibit 4CriticalHarder than usual

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must disclose costs and charges, including third party costs, to a retail client before that client trades. Here the duty to find them out sits with you.

ABB Invest is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 16The costs you must ask about sit outside a schedule that also leaves out the fee for putting money in and taking it out.
05

ABB-İnvest closes your positions when your margin level reaches 20%, largest first, under clause 9.33. You get one margin call at 100%, and clause 9.44 says no second call is sent.

Why this matters

You can lose four fifths of the money backing your trades before anything is closed for you. ABB-İnvest's trading conditions page says what is left can end below that 20%. Clause 9.38 at least stops it claiming more than you deposited.

What it costsIf your open trades need $1,000 of margin, a 50% close-out acts when your equity falls to $500. ABB-İnvest acts at $200.

Set against a regulated standard: ESMA (EU), FCA (UK)

Firms under ESMA and FCA rules must close a retail client's contracts for difference when margin falls to 50% of the margin required. This contract sets that point at 20%.

ABB-İnvest replaced its tariff schedule four times between June and November 2025. Clause 4.2.9 lets it change fees on its own, and clause 4.3.3 makes checking the website your job.

Why this matters

ABB-İnvest shows you its own commissions and leaves the rest to you

Four tariff schedules in six months, and the one in force from 04.11.2025 lists no deposit fee and no withdrawal fee. Clause 4.3.3 makes third party execution costs your job to ask about, and says not asking means you were informed. Managed portfolios cost 1% a year plus 20% of the gain, with brokerage commission on top.

Cost disclosure2 clauses flagged

Handing your assets to ABB-İnvest to manage costs 1% a year, plus 20% of the gain. Each trade inside that portfolio also attracts the ordinary brokerage commission.

Why this matters

Topping up your investment account with a card costs 0.5%, as ABB-İnvest's operations page states. The tariff schedule in force from 04.11.2025 carries no deposit line and no withdrawal line.

The documents this reading is based on

9 files, all published by ABB Invest. Each shows when we read it and a fingerprint of its wording.

WIKILIX keeps the copy of each file it read, and does not republish it: what is published is the fingerprint of its wording. Download the file yourself and hash its text, lowercased with runs of whitespace collapsed, and a matching fingerprint means the wording quoted above is still the wording ABB Invest publishes.

Who the contract is with

ABB-İnvest İnvestisiya Şirkəti QSC

You contract with ABB-İnvest İnvestisiya Şirkəti QSC, a closed joint stock company in Baku. Its first paragraph names licence İŞ-05, issued by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan on 18 September 2020. It is not the bank: clause 1.3 names Azərbaycan Beynəlxalq Bankı ASC as its founder, and clause 4.2.6 calls that same company ABB ASC. You open a real FX account by signing in an ABB Bank branch, and clause 5.3.1 says the ABB mobile app you then trade through does not belong to the investment company, which accepts no liability for it.

Quotations are copied verbatim from the documents named above, with the clause number and the page each one came from. Where a clause is quoted in another language, the original is shown first and the English is a translation.

The plain-language parts, what a clause means for a client, how ordinary it is, and how it reads against a regulated standard, are WIKILIX's analysis and are labelled as such on every card. This is a reading of public documents, not legal advice and not an allegation of wrongdoing.

In fairness, and what we could not check

A reader who knows the edges of the work can trust the middle of it

Clause 9.38 says ABB-İnvest will not chase you for a loss bigger than the money you put in. Disputes go to Azerbaijani courts under clause 12.3, which is the client's own forum. The contract sets no deadline for complaining, and clause 20.12 prints a named complaints coordinator plus the Central Bank's hotline. There is no bonus scheme anywhere in the document set, so there is no bonus lock either. Clause 9.6.2 requires 30 demo trades over at least 5 working days before you trade for real. ABB-İnvest also publishes the share of its FX clients who made and lost money each quarter, and for the second quarter of 2026 that split was half and half by client count.

ABB-İnvest keeps its legal shelf at abbinvest.az/az/huquqi_senedler. This review covers three documents there in full: the 65 page Standard Terms of 19 May 2025, the tariff schedule in force from 04.11.2025, and the rules on accepting and executing orders. We also read its trading conditions pages, where several terms appear that are in no document. The signed copies of the Standard Terms and the tariff schedule are digital signature containers, so the review uses the identical in force versions published beside them. The licence file on the licences page is an image with no readable text, so the licence number here comes from the contract's own first paragraph. For the three earlier tariff schedules, the review compares the changed lines rather than each full schedule. ABB-İnvest publishes no privacy policy, no conflict of interest policy and no complaints procedure as separate documents. The English and Russian routes on the site serve the same Azerbaijani pages, so there was no second language version of the marketing to compare. We never saw the signed Contract itself, which clause 20.3 says beats the Standard Terms wherever the two differ.

How to check any of this yourself

Every quote above links to the ABB Invest file it came from. This is what to do with it.

Open the three stepsFind the words in the source, work out the fingerprint, and read what a difference does and does not prove.

Open the source and search for the words

Every quote has a link under it. Open the file, or the web page, and search it for the words we quote. The clause number next to the quote tells you where to look.

If the words are not there any more, the source may have changed after we read it. That is worth knowing too. We keep the date we read it, and a code worked out from its wording, so the quote stays checkable.

What a fingerprint is

A fingerprint is a code worked out from what a source says. Change one word and the code changes completely. We keep two codes for every file we read, and the panel on each source shows both.

The first is the code of the exact file we downloaded. The second is the code of its wording alone, with capital letters lowered and runs of spaces collapsed. When the same words are saved as a new file, the first code changes and the second one stays the same.

Only the first code can be worked out on your own computer. Save the file, then run one of these, putting the name of the file you saved where the example is. The panel on each source prints the command with that source's real file name already in it.

macOS or Linux:
  shasum -a 256 the-file-you-saved.pdf

Windows:
  certutil -hashfile the-file-you-saved.pdf SHA256

The two codes are different from each other, and they are not meant to match. Comparing one against the other proves nothing.

What a difference means, and what it does not

A different file code on its own proves nothing. A PDF saved again with a new date inside it is a new file saying exactly the same thing.

A different wording code means the words themselves changed. That is the one that matters, and it is why we keep it.

Even then, a change is not proof of bad faith. Companies update their documents. What this report says is what the document said on the day we read it, and every quote carries that date.

A source that is a web page and not a file has no file to save, so only the code of its wording is shown.

How this report is made

Every clause quoted above comes from a document ABB Invest publishes on its own website, downloaded and hashed on the date shown, with the clause number and page recorded so any reader can check it. We do not allege anything the documents do not say, and we do not judge ABB Invest on anything other than its own published terms and its own public marketing. Where a clause has a qualifier that softens it, the report says so. Last read Oct 17, 2026.

If you represent ABB Invest and a clause has changed, been withdrawn, or is being read out of context, tell us and we will re-read the documents and update this page. Corrections from the broker are welcome and are published with the reading they change. Contact us.

This is a reading of a contract, not legal advice and not a ruling on ABB Invest. Whether its licence is real and current is a separate check on the broker profile.
