Most Popular Questions

Ask for the exact legal entity name, its registration number and its licence number and regulator, then check each one yourself on the relevant official register before sending anything. A caller using this brand cannot be assumed to be connected to AIB Capital Limited, because the name is dormant and its domain is available for anyone to buy.

Not as an independent operator, on the record available. The Kenyan company record for AIB Capital Limited is inactive and names AIB-AXYS Africa as its successor after a 2020 merger, and the brand's domain has been released and put up for sale. Together those point to a wound-down or absorbed business rather than an active broker.

The contact details on record for the brand are the telephone number +254 20 220178 and the address info@aibcapital.com. Neither could be corroborated against a live company page, and the email domain no longer hosts a working website, so treat both as historical rather than current.

No country policy could be established. There is no terms document, no restricted-countries page and no registration form to read, so we cannot say which jurisdictions are accepted or refused. Absence of a published restriction is not the same as acceptance.

Withdrawal timescales are not published anywhere we could verify. Because there is no live site and no licence, there is also no regulator you could escalate a delayed withdrawal to, which is the more important point for anyone holding a balance.

No deposit or withdrawal methods are published. There is no accessible funding page, fee schedule or processing time, so it is not possible to say how money would go in or come out, or under what conditions.

No maximum leverage is published for AIB Capital. There are no accessible trading conditions, so leverage, spreads, commissions and swap terms are all unknown.

No trading platform can be confirmed for AIB Capital. Neither MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader nor a proprietary platform is documented anywhere we could verify, and no server names or download links are published.

No minimum deposit is published. With no live website there is no accounts page, pricing page or client agreement stating one, so any figure quoted to you by a third party should be treated as unverified.

No. The aibcapital.com domain associated with the brand no longer serves an operating website and is currently offered for sale. That means no product pages, no legal documents and no contact page can be read, and it also means the name could be picked up by an unrelated party in future.

We found no evidence that AIB Capital is a fraud, and no evidence that it is a safe place to trade either. The legal company behind the name is real and traceable in the Kenyan company record, which is not what a fabricated operation looks like. What is missing is any confirmed licence and any live website, so the brand should be treated as unverified rather than cleared.

The brand is associated with AIB Capital Limited, a corporation registered in Kenya as company number 43467 at Finance House, Loita Street, 00100 Nairobi. That company's record is currently inactive and names AIB-AXYS Africa as its successor entity after a merger recorded as completed on 30 June 2020. No current owner beyond that succession is disclosed anywhere we could verify.

No confirmed regulation was found for AIB Capital. No licence number, no regulator and no licensed entity could be established for the brand, so there is not even a claimed licence to check. A Kenyan company registration exists for AIB Capital Limited, but a company registration is not a financial licence and gives no permission to hold client money.

Licence 119 was issued by The Capital Markets Authority (CMA), the financial authority for Kenya.
AIB Capital holds this CMA licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the CMA register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
Wikilix rates CMA tier 3. Supervision is lighter-touch and client protections vary.
This page links straight to the CMA register. Search it for 119, and for the name AIB Capital rather than the trading brand.
