BAPPEBTI is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Answered from this register entry and the authority’s own record.

Most Popular Questions

AIMS's current documents say STP. Its Order Execution Policy (January 2026) describes a non-principal STP model with no dealing desk, no market making and no trading against clients, and its Standard Account page calls the execution true ECN. Its signup Trading Terms and Conditions (dated 10 October 2017), however, say client orders are executed at bid and ask prices the company offers, and let AIMS move a client to STP/ECN execution without consent when that client's strategy exposes it to more risk than it can cope with, so the two documents do not describe the same model.

AIMS's website gives no complaints address, and its legal pages direct all questions to cs@aimsfx.com. Its signup terms give clients four business days to object in writing to a transaction or an account statement, after which statements are final and binding. The website terms say disputes go to the relevant place of jurisdiction without naming one, while the signup terms name the laws of the LFSA and the District Court of the LFSA, and both limit AIMS's liability to gross negligence, wilful default or fraud.

Yes, in situations its own documents set out. Its Negative Balance Policy (January 2026) lets AIMS investigate, cancel, void, reverse, adjust or refuse trades, profits, credits, rebates or balances from trading it deems abnormal or abusive, such as hedging across accounts or arbitrage. Its Order Execution Policy and signup terms let it change the opening or closing price of an order, or cancel an executed order, after a technical failure or an incorrect price feed. The signup terms also say stop orders may be removed in volatile markets, around news and at price gaps, so a stop loss may not limit losses to the intended amount.

Not for accounts opened on aimsfx.com. On 22 October 2026, ASIC's register listed Australian financial services licence 526125 as current for AURIC INTERNATIONAL MARKETS (AU) PTY LTD, formerly Smartransfer Pty Ltd, effective from 6 September 2022. The licence covers foreign exchange contracts and non-cash payment products, with no derivatives authorisation, so it does not cover CFDs, and AIMS's client agreement is with its Labuan company rather than this Australian one. The Australian company's AFCA membership (76981) applies only to its own clients.

The official AIMS website is www.aimsfx.com, which its terms name as the Main Website, and clients sign in and register through the client portal at cp2.aimsfx.com. AIMS also has a Chinese and English site, www.aimsbroker.com, with its own client portal, and its terms say sites in other languages are mainly for promotion. Its Indonesian group company, PT AIMS Indo Berjangka, runs a separate site at www.aims.co.id. The FAQ on aimsfx.com still tells clients to log in at cp.aimsfx.com, an older address that no longer opens the AIMS portal.

AIMS says a professional indemnity insurance policy covers any shortfall in segregated client assets, such as after the trading company's insolvency, and that it does not cover trading losses. Its fund insurance page puts the cover at up to 2,000,000 US dollars per client for all retail clients. The certificate linked from that page, a stockbroker indemnity policy for Auric International Markets Limited running from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027, states the limit as USD 2 million for each and every loss and in the aggregate, a total for the policy rather than an amount per client, and says the insurance is not a financial guarantee.

AIMS offers CFDs on forex, global shares, stock indices, metals and commodities, as well as fractional shares, according to its product menu. Its Swap-Free Account page counts more than 70 forex pairs, and the Standard Account allows trades from 0.01 lots.

AIMS's client agreement is with Auric International Markets Limited, which its terms describe as incorporated and registered under Labuan law. On 22 October 2026, the Labuan FSA's Financial Institutions Directory listed that company as a money broker at a registered address in Labuan. The AIMS website gives its office as Main Office Tower, Financial Park Labuan. The group's Australian and Indonesian licences belong to two other companies, AURIC INTERNATIONAL MARKETS (AU) PTY LTD and PT AIMS Indo Berjangka. WIKILIX's record also lists a UK company, AURIC INTERNATIONAL MARKETS LTD (company number 15067173).

AIMS support is available 24 hours a day, five days a week, by email at cs@aimsfx.com and by live chat on its website. AIMS publishes no telephone number. Its listed office is at Unit Level 9F(2), Main Office Tower, Financial Park Labuan, Jalan Merdeka, Federal Territory of Labuan, 87000, Malaysia.

Yes. AIMS offers demo accounts on MetaTrader 4, funded with 10,000 US dollars of virtual money or an amount the client chooses. The demo does not expire, but it runs on separate servers and its prices are indicative rather than an exact mirror of live trading.

AIMS's own documents disagree. Its Negative Balance Policy (January 2026) limits a client's losses to the funds in each trading account, but AIMS may withhold that protection on any indication or suspicion, in its own discretion, of arbitrage or abusive trading, and may then use money in the client's other accounts to cover the negative balance. The FAQ on its website, by contrast, says clients remain fully responsible and liable for any negative balance.

Yes. AIMS converts a live account to swap-free on request for clients of the Islamic faith, after checking eligibility, with a 10-day swap-free window per position on forex, gold and silver, indices, oil and gas; its signup terms charge swap on a position held longer than 10 calendar days. The account page promises the same spreads as other accounts, but the Swap-Free Account Terms (January 2026) allow wider spreads, higher commissions, administrative charges and swap charges applied retroactively from the day a position opened. The signup terms also let AIMS withdraw swap-free status and reverse any profits made from swap-free trading at any time.

AIMS publishes no withdrawal processing time for any payment method; its signup terms say transfer requests are processed within the period stated on its website, and the website states none. Withdrawals are paid back to the source the funds came from where possible, and AIMS asks for the client's bank details to process them. Its Negative Balance Policy and FAQ also treat a withdrawal request that brings the account's margin level to 50% or lower as abusive trading. AIMS publishes no withdrawal fee, saying only that profits can be withdrawn with no hidden fees.

The AIMS Standard Account charges no commission and builds its costs into the spread, quoted at 1.5 to 1.6 pips on EUR/USD and 1.8 to 2.8 pips on gold; the About page advertises spreads from 0.8 pips without saying which account that applies to. Overnight swaps include a fee of AIMS's own, according to its risk disclosure, and its signup terms allow an administrative fee of 10 US dollars a year once an account has had no funding or trading for a year. AIMS's terms say its fees are set out in Contract Specifications on its website, which the site does not link.

AIMS offers a Standard Account, a Swap-Free Account and a MAM Account. The Standard Account needs 50 US dollars, charges no commission, quotes EUR/USD at 1.5 to 1.6 pips and offers leverage of up to 1:500 on its account page, while the FAQ gives 1:1 to 1:400 for live accounts. The Swap-Free Account is a live account converted on request for clients of the Islamic faith, and its terms allow wider spreads, higher commissions and extra charges. AIMS publishes no minimum deposit, leverage, pricing or terms for the MAM Account.

The minimum deposit for an AIMS live account is 50 US dollars, according to both its FAQ and its Standard Account page. There is no fee to open a live account. The Swap-Free Account is a converted live account with no separate minimum, and AIMS publishes no minimum deposit for its MAM Account.

AIMS services are not available to residents of the USA, Iran, Cuba, Sudan, Syria, North Korea or any sanctioned country, according to the FAQ on its website, which gives U.S. CFTC rules as the reason it cannot take U.S. clients. Malaysia is not on that list, but Malaysia's Securities Commission says AIMS FX is not licensed to deal with the Malaysian public.

AIMS's Standard Account page offers leverage of up to 1:500, while its FAQ gives a range of 1:1 to 1:400 for live accounts. New live accounts start at 1:100 by default, and clients can change their leverage in the client portal or by emailing cs@aimsfx.com.

AIMS names nine funding methods: bank transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, PayPal, Alipay, Wise, Bitcoin and Tether (USDT, with no network named). Its home page claims 15 funding methods and 20 currencies but does not name the others. AIMS charges no deposit fees and publishes no withdrawal fee, minimum, maximum or processing time for any method, and withdrawals are paid back to the source of the deposit where possible.

AIMS offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, with downloads for Windows, iOS and Android on its platform pages, and has no platform of its own. The site says both run on desktop, web and mobile but links no web terminal. Its FAQ still describes MT4 as the AIMS platform, and demo accounts are offered on MT4 only.

AIMS is regulated only offshore for the accounts it opens on aimsfx.com. Its client agreement is with Auric International Markets Limited, which the Labuan Financial Services Authority listed as a money broker on 22 October 2026, with no investor compensation scheme. Malaysia's Securities Commission says AIMS FX is not licensed to deal with the Malaysian public. AIMS's ASIC and BAPPEBTI licences, both confirmed on their registers on 22 October 2026, belong to its Australian and Indonesian companies and do not cover aimsfx.com accounts. Its client documents also let AIMS cancel trades and profits it treats as abusive and withhold negative balance protection on suspicion of abuse.

Licence 002/BAPPEBTI/SI/09/2025 was issued by Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komodit (BAPPEBTI), the financial authority for Indonesia.
AIMS holds this BAPPEBTI licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the BAPPEBTI register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
Wikilix rates BAPPEBTI tier 3. Supervision is lighter-touch and client protections vary.
Yes, BAPPEBTI is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
This page links straight to the BAPPEBTI register. Search it for 002/BAPPEBTI/SI/09/2025, and for the name AIMS rather than the trading brand.
AIMS has 2 other licences on record with Wikilix, across 2 jurisdictions. They are listed further down this page.
