ALPHA TRADE is the trading brand of Alpha Trade Pty Ltd, an Australian private company registered as ACN 055 971 232 (ABN 16 055 971 232) with a registered business location in the Sydney central business district at Level 16, 175 Pitt Street, Sydney, NSW 2000. The company is recorded as active on the Australian Business Register, with an ABN active from 28 April 2000, and it previously operated under the name INTEQ LIMITED.

Regulation. The brand is associated with Australian Financial Services Licence number 237244, issued in Australia and held by ALPHA TRADE PTY LTD, with an effective date of 6 November 2003. The licence covers derivatives and securities dealing and advisory activity on a straight-through-processing basis. Two caveats matter for a prospective client. First, the licence predates the brand's own claimed launch by many years, so the retail forex operation and the licensed activity are not obviously the same business.
