What AMarkets legally published, but does not want you to read

Every clause below is published by AMarkets itself, on its own website, today. The finding is not that the text exists. It is the distance between what a client is shown and what a client agreed to. Read from its own documents on .

Contracting entity: AMarkets LLC

sole discretionprofit voidingwithdrawalsdeemed acceptancemarketing gapcountry restrictionhidden feekyc freezeprice sourceunilateral amendment

AMarkets LLC can write off every dollar in your account if your Personal Area stays blocked for 30 days. The contract lets it lend out your money and mix it with its own. You get 45 days to bring any claim, counted from the day the problem happened. Its public pages promise 0% deposit fees while its rules let it take that money back.

What the documents say

17 clauses worth knowing about, worst first, each quoted from AMarkets's own files

01

If AMarkets blocks your Personal Area and you do not clear the reason within 30 days, clause 3.12 lets it write off every dollar in your trading accounts and your wallet. Sorting the problem out later does not get your money back automatically. The same clause says returning it is AMarkets' choice.

Why this matters

Your deposit and your profit can both be taken because paperwork was late, not because you traded badly. After day 30 you are asking AMarkets for a favour, not claiming your own money.

Exhibit 1CriticalRarely seen30 days

If the Client does not take the necessary actions within 30 (thirty) days from the moment of blocking, the Company has the right to write off all the Client’s funds from their trading accounts and/or wallet.

What it costsAn account holding $2,000 when the block starts can be worth $0 on day 31.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC hold retail client money separately and must return it on request, and a verification delay does not convert it into the firm's own money. This contract lets AMarkets write the balance off after 30 days.

AMarkets is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

Our readingBrokers routinely freeze an account during a verification review. Writing the balance off and keeping it, with the refund left to the firm's own discretion, turns a freeze into a transfer of ownership.

Clause 6 asks you to let AMarkets sell, pledge, lend out and mix your money with its own, including using it as security for a loan to AMarkets itself. The clause says it may do this free from any claim by you. Annex C repeats the same permission as a standalone consent.

In plain words

On a principal basis, as your counterparty, means the broker takes the other side of your trade itself. Your loss is then the firm’s gain, so it has an interest in how your trade ends.

Why this matters

Money you think is sitting in an account is money AMarkets may have pledged elsewhere. If AMarkets fails, you are an ordinary creditor chasing it, because the contract says you keep no claim over what it did with your funds.

Exhibit 2CriticalRarely seen

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus), ASIC (Australia)

Firms licensed by the FCA, CySEC or ASIC keep retail client money in segregated accounts and may not use it to fund their own business. This contract asks you to authorise the opposite.

AMarkets is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

Our readingRehypothecation is a prime brokerage device used between institutions that can price the counterparty risk. Pointed at a retail balance it means the firm may fund itself with the customer's deposit.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 17The company holding and lending the money is a Cook Islands registration, not the licensed entity the website advertises.
03

Clause 23 stops you bringing any action against AMarkets more than 45 days after the cause of it arose. The clock runs from the event, not from the day you noticed it. It covers every kind of claim, whatever form it takes.

Why this matters

A charge you spot on a quarterly statement is already out of time. You have 45 days from the event itself, and AMarkets treats its own notices as delivered whether you saw them or not.

Firms licensed by the FCA give a retail client at least six months to take a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service after the firm's final answer. This contract ends every right of action 45 days after the cause arose.

AMarkets is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 10AMarkets' notices count as delivered whether you read them or not, and the 45 days run from the event either way.
04

AMarkets tells you it covers all deposit fees and that every dollar you deposit is yours to trade. Clause 3.3 of its non-trading rules lets it take that refund back if your trading over 60 days falls short of a formula. Crypto network fees are carved out of the promise altogether.

Why this matters

You deposit expecting the fee back, then trade quietly or stop trading, and AMarkets can reclaim it from your balance. The rule sits in a separate document from the page that made you the promise.

05

Clause 19 says that any violation of the agreement by you removes your right to demand payment or a refund from AMarkets. The clause sets no threshold, so a small breach reads the same as a serious one. AMarkets can also cancel your transactions and close your open positions at its own discretion.

Why this matters

Break one rule in a contract that binds you to thirteen separate documents, and AMarkets can keep what is in your account. Nothing in the clause ties the amount it keeps to the harm you caused.

AMarkets promises 0% deposit fees its own rules can reclaim

AMarkets tells depositors that every dollar they deposit is theirs to trade with no hidden charges, while clause 3.3 lets it take the refunded deposit commission back if trading over 60 days falls short of a formula. Its Arabic pages promise compensation up to 20,000 euros per claim above an English contract that kills every claim at 45 days. Its copy trading service is ranked and sold by AMarkets, then disclaimed as the work of unaffiliated strangers.

Language and promises1 clause flagged

AMarkets runs the copy trading service, ranks the strategies on its own site and pays traders up to 50% of an investor's profit. A clause added to the risk warning in its 09/10/2025 revision says those strategies come from independent third parties not affiliated with AMarkets. The same clause says AMarkets is not liable for losses from them.

Why this matters

You pick a strategy from a ranking AMarkets built and pay a fee AMarkets collects. If it loses your money, the contract says the strategy was never theirs to stand behind.

The fee table you checked is not the one you are held to

Clause 9 lets AMarkets change its entire fee structure at any time without notice, and lists charges it does not apply today but may add later. Currency moving in or out of your account is converted at the internal rate AMarkets publishes only inside the logged in Personal Area. You cannot compare that rate against the market before you commit.

Cost disclosure1 clause flagged

Clause 9 lets AMarkets change its whole fee structure at any time without notice. It also lists charges it does not levy today but may add later. Money converted in or out of your account uses AMarkets' own internal rate, which it publishes only inside the logged in Personal Area.

Why this matters

The fee table you checked before depositing is not the one you are held to. You cannot compare the conversion rate against the market before you commit, because you only see it after you log in.

Exhibit 11WarningHarder than usual

AMarkets reserves the right to change its fee structure at any time without notice.
Clause 9 in Customer Agreement

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must disclose costs and charges to a retail client before that client trades. This contract lets AMarkets change its fee structure at any time without notice.

AMarkets is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

AMarkets advertises 24 hours and reserves five business days

Every payment method on the AMarkets withdrawal page shows a processing time of up to 24 hours, while clause 3.10 allows transfer time to reach five business days and the client agreement names a third figure. Clause 3.9 forces you out by the method and currency you came in with. Fund in crypto and only a matching share of your profit can leave as anything else.

Getting paid out2 clauses flagged

Every method on the AMarkets withdrawal page shows a processing time of up to 24 hours. Clause 3.10 of the non-trading rules lets transfer time stretch to five business days. The client agreement gives a third figure, two business days.

Why this matters

You plan around 24 hours and the contract allows five business days, which is a week when a weekend falls in it. AMarkets can extend that again if it decides a payment method is unavailable.

Exhibit 6WarningHarder than usual5 working days

Requests for Client funds transfer are processed within the time limits, set for each payment system, however, in some cases transfer time may be increased up to five (5) business days.
Clause 3.10 in Regulations on Non-Trading Operations

  • Worse together with Exhibit 7The slower clock runs on top of rules that decide which method and currency you may take the money out in.

AMarkets requires you to withdraw by the same method and in the same currency you deposited with. Profit can only leave to a crypto wallet if you funded in crypto, and mixed funding is split proportionally. A loss on one deposit method removes that method from the profit split.

Why this matters

A card that has expired or a wallet you no longer control can strand your exit route. If you funded partly in crypto, part of your profit can only leave as crypto, whatever you would prefer.

Exhibit 7WarningHarder than usual

Fund withdrawals must be made using the same payment method that was used to deposit funds into the trading account/wallet.

Three clauses let AMarkets keep money that is already yours

Clause 3.12 lets AMarkets write off everything in your accounts if a block lasts 30 days, and hands back the money only if it chooses to. Clause 19 says any violation of the agreement removes your right to demand payment or a refund, with no cap and no test of seriousness. Annex D lets AMarkets adjust your balance over a price it decides was wrong, using a value it sets itself.

Losing what you earned1 clause flagged

If AMarkets decides a quote was wrong, Annex D lets it make corrections or adjustments to the account involved. Any dispute about that error is settled using a fair market value that AMarkets itself determines. The annex says AMarkets is not liable for the resulting errors in your balance.

Why this matters

A profitable trade can be repriced after the fact, and AMarkets picks the price used to reprice it. You are disputing a number with the party that chose the number.

Exhibit 13WarningHarder than usual

Any dispute arising from such quoting errors will be resolved on the basis of the fair market value, as determined by AMarkets, in its sole discretion, of the relevant Currency at the time such an error occurred.

Bonus profit stops at $200 and expires after 14 days

AMarkets caps withdrawable profit on its no deposit bonus at $200 and writes off anything above that automatically. You must also clear $15 of profit, reach a volume target and hold each position at least five minutes. Meet every condition and withdraw on day 15, and the bonus account closes with the profit cancelled.

Bonus mechanics1 clause flagged

On the no deposit bonus, AMarkets caps the profit you may withdraw at $200 and writes off anything above it automatically. You must clear $15 of profit, hit a volume target and hold each position five minutes. Miss the 14 day window and the account closes with the profit cancelled.

Why this matters

Trade the bonus well and the reward stops at $200 no matter how well you did. Meet every condition but withdraw on day 15 and you keep nothing.

Exhibit 8WarningHarder than usual$200

Thirteen documents bind you and AMarkets links to eight

Clause 4 of the AMarkets Customer Agreement makes 13 documents an integral part of your contract, while the public documents page carries links to eight. Clause 18 binds you to changes 10 days after they are posted to the website, or immediately if you place any trade. Clause 5 lets AMarkets merge you with another customer who shares your IP address.

Rules you did not see3 clauses flagged

Clause 5 lets AMarkets treat accounts belonging to different clients as one account when it sees a matching IP address or a similar trading strategy. It can then reset margin using the combined balance. Clause 15 lets it take its costs from accounts it decides also belong to you.

Why this matters

Two people trading from one home connection can be merged without either of them agreeing. Your margin, and your exposure to a stop out, then depends on somebody else's balance.

Exhibit 9WarningRarely seen

In the event that signs of affiliation are found between accounts belonging to different clients, namely, an identical trading strategy and/or matching IP addresses, the Company reserves the right to interpret the trading accounts of such clients as a single account and change the margin requirements in accordance with the total amount of funds in these accounts and the Company’s trading conditions.
Clause 5 in Customer Agreement
Read from the broker's site on Open the reference

Our readingA shared IP address is evidence of a shared internet connection, not of a shared trading plan. Using it to merge separate customers into one margin pool makes a household, an office or a cafe look like collusion.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 5Once AMarkets treats the accounts as one, a breach on either side reaches the right to be paid on both.

Clause 18 binds you to a change 10 days after AMarkets posts it on its website, or sooner if you place any order. To object you must close your positions and tell AMarkets what to do with your assets within ten business days. Clause 2.10 also lets it close your account and refuse service at any time.

Why this matters

Not reading the website for two weeks is enough to agree to a new term. Placing a single trade counts as acceptance on the spot, whether you knew about the change or not.

Exhibit 10WarningHarder than usual10 days

Customer agrees to be bound by the terms of such amendment or change on the earlier of: ten (10) days after AMarkets has posted notice of such amendment or change to the Corporate website; or (y) on the date of the entry of any Order other than a Liquidating Order.

Clause 4 makes 13 separate documents an integral part of your agreement. The public documents page lists eight. The bonus rules, the copy trading rules, the Islamic account agreement, the position transfer rules and the MT4 and MT5 trading regulations are not among the links.

Why this matters

You agree to rules you were never shown a link to, and clause 19 says breaking any of them costs you the right to be paid. Finding them means guessing the web address.

A verification review can stop your withdrawals indefinitely

Clause 3.11 lets AMarkets suspend every trading and non-trading operation and block your Personal Area whenever it decides earlier data was incorrect or misleading. The AML policy allows further documents to be demanded whenever AMarkets sees fit. No clause sets a deadline for AMarkets to finish, while clause 3.12 gives you 30 days before the balance can be written off.

Verification holds1 clause flagged

If AMarkets decides data you gave earlier is incorrect or misleading, clause 3.11 lets it suspend every trading and non-trading operation and block your Personal Area until you fix it. Its AML policy lets it ask for more documents whenever it sees fit. Withdrawing at all requires both identity and payment method verification.

Why this matters

The freeze covers withdrawals, so the money stops moving while the review runs. Nothing in these clauses puts a deadline on AMarkets to finish it, while clause 3.12 puts a 30 day deadline on you.

Exhibit 14WarningHarder than usual

AMarkets may lend out your deposit and trade ahead of you

Clause 6 of the AMarkets Customer Agreement authorises the firm to sell, pledge, lend and commingle your money, including as security for a loan to AMarkets itself, free from any claim by you. Annex D adds that AMarkets, its staff and its affiliates may execute orders ahead of yours. The same annex confirms there is no clearing house, so you look only to AMarkets to be paid.

Annex D tells you that AMarkets, its staff and its affiliates may execute orders at the same or better prices ahead of yours. The same annex confirms each contract is directly with AMarkets, with no clearing house standing behind it. AMarkets also sets the prices used to value your positions and your margin.

Why this matters

The firm quoting your price, holding your money and deciding your margin may be in the queue in front of you. If AMarkets cannot pay, the contract says you look only to AMarkets.

That is the company you contract with, and clause 23 puts the agreement under Cook Islands law. The licence AMarkets advertises belongs to a different company, AMarkets LTD in Mwali, Comoros, licence number T2023284. A third company, AMarkets LTD in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, number 22567 BC 2015, carries the same brand. The contract you sign names none of the licensed entities.

Quotations are copied verbatim from the documents named above, with the clause number and the page each one came from. Where a clause is quoted in another language, the original is shown first and the English is a translation.

The plain-language parts, what a clause means for a client, how ordinary it is, and how it reads against a regulated standard, are WIKILIX's analysis and are labelled as such on every card. This is a reading of public documents, not legal advice and not an allegation of wrongdoing.

In fairness, and what we could not check

A reader who knows the edges of the work can trust the middle of it

AMarkets charges no inactivity fee, and clause 2.9 says so in plain words. Its deposit and withdrawal pages publish a real fee table, method by method, with minimum and maximum amounts next to each one. The deposit page even points you to clause 3.3 for the detail behind the 0% headline, which is more than most brokers offer. Every legal page carries a dated revision line, so you can tell which version you are reading.

AMarkets' legal pages would not open on its own sites. Every document quoted comes from dated public archive copies of those same AMarkets pages, and each reference names the copy used. The client agreement reviewed is the one AMarkets dates 01/05/2023, archived in May 2025, so the wording on the site today cannot be confirmed. The review does not cover the MT4 and MT5 trading regulations, the Islamic account agreement, the copy trading regulations or the position transfer regulations, even though the contract makes all of them binding. We also did not read the five certificate and licence PDFs.

How to check any of this yourself

Every quote above links to the AMarkets file it came from. This is what to do with it.

Open the three stepsFind the words in the source, work out the fingerprint, and read what a difference does and does not prove.

Open the source and search for the words

Every quote has a link under it. Open the file, or the web page, and search it for the words we quote. The clause number next to the quote tells you where to look.

If the words are not there any more, the source may have changed after we read it. That is worth knowing too. We keep the date we read it, and a code worked out from its wording, so the quote stays checkable.

What a fingerprint is

A fingerprint is a code worked out from what a source says. Change one word and the code changes completely. We keep two codes for every file we read, and the panel on each source shows both.

The first is the code of the exact file we downloaded. The second is the code of its wording alone, with capital letters lowered and runs of spaces collapsed. When the same words are saved as a new file, the first code changes and the second one stays the same.

Only the first code can be worked out on your own computer. Save the file, then run one of these, putting the name of the file you saved where the example is. The panel on each source prints the command with that source's real file name already in it.

macOS or Linux:
  shasum -a 256 the-file-you-saved.pdf

Windows:
  certutil -hashfile the-file-you-saved.pdf SHA256

The two codes are different from each other, and they are not meant to match. Comparing one against the other proves nothing.

What a difference means, and what it does not

A different file code on its own proves nothing. A PDF saved again with a new date inside it is a new file saying exactly the same thing.

A different wording code means the words themselves changed. That is the one that matters, and it is why we keep it.

Even then, a change is not proof of bad faith. Companies update their documents. What this report says is what the document said on the day we read it, and every quote carries that date.

A source that is a web page and not a file has no file to save, so only the code of its wording is shown.

How this report is made

Every clause quoted above comes from a document AMarkets publishes on its own website, downloaded and hashed on the date shown, with the clause number and page recorded so any reader can check it. We do not allege anything the documents do not say, and we do not judge AMarkets on anything other than its own published terms and its own public marketing. Where a clause has a qualifier that softens it, the report says so. Last read Sep 16, 2026.

If you represent AMarkets and a clause has changed, been withdrawn, or is being read out of context, tell us and we will re-read the documents and update this page. Corrections from the broker are welcome and are published with the reading they change. Contact us.

This is a reading of a contract, not legal advice and not a ruling on AMarkets. Whether its licence is real and current is a separate check on the broker profile.
