Is AMUNDI a scam?

Confirmed scamHIGH confidenceClone of Amundi Asset Management (Amundi S.A.)
Updated September 6, 2026
Clone / impersonation scam (fake investment platform)

Yes. AMUNDI at amuud.com is a scam. It is a clone that copied the name of the real Amundi, Europe's largest asset manager, to run a fake investment platform, and it shows the hallmarks of a fraudulent operation.

  • The real Amundi manages about 2.4 trillion euros, is based in Paris and is regulated by France's AMF. It sells only through banks and brokers and states plainly that it never contacts the public directly and never collects funds directly.
  • This operation used the lookalike domain amuud.com and the self-styled name 鋒匯集團, a contraction of Amundi Taiwan's real name 鋒裕匯理.
  • The domain was registered in July 2024 and carried a farm of short throwaway subdomains (dya, wda, wdd, wde, wdf, boa, ben, aia and more), the pattern of a scam running many parallel fake platforms.
  • Both platform addresses, dya.amuud.com and wda.amuud.com, no longer resolve, and the base domain now shows an unrelated clothing shop. The operation appears to have been shut down.
  • It held no licence of its own and was reported to Taiwan's 165 police anti-fraud service.

Worst area: Critical
SeverityLowModerateHighCritical

Regulation

10/10 · Critical

No licence of its own; it impersonates the AMF-regulated Amundi and trades on another firm's regulated identity.

Identity & transparency

10/10 · Critical

Fabricated group name copied from Amundi Taiwan, a lookalike domain and hidden operators; no genuine disclosed entity.

Withdrawals & conduct

7/10 · High

A fake investment platform reported to Taiwan's 165 anti-fraud service; fund-integrity harm by design, though individual withdrawal threads could not be enumerated as the site is defunct.

Reputation

8/10 · Critical

The impersonated firm publishes fraud warnings, the operation was reported to police anti-fraud channels, and there are no legitimate reviews.

Website claims

10/10 · Critical

Presents itself as the tier-1, AMF-regulated Amundi it is not; an outright false identity claim.

Operational history

9/10 · Critical

Domain registered July 2024 and now defunct, while borrowing the history of a decades-old, multi-trillion-euro firm.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

  • Brand: AMUNDI, impersonating the real Amundi Asset Management.
  • Self-styled entity: 鋒匯集團 (Fenghui Group), a name contracted from Amundi Taiwan's real name 鋒裕匯理; not found in any company registry.
  • Website: dya.amuud.com (main) and wda.amuud.com (login), both now offline.
  • Domain: amuud.com, registered 1 July 2024 through GoDaddy, placed behind Cloudflare.
  • Only licence: None. It borrowed the identity of the AMF-regulated Amundi rather than holding any licence of its own.
  • Offers: A fake online investment and trading platform aimed at Chinese-speaking, mainly Taiwanese, investors.
  • Registered: No verifiable address or company; the operators are undisclosed.
  • Age claim: Traded on the reputation of the long-established, roughly 2.4 trillion euro Amundi while running on a domain barely a year old.
The amuud.com base domain no longer serves the AMUNDI platform; the operating subdomains dya.amuud.com and wda.amuud.com do not resolve, and the domain now displays an unrelated Taiwanese clothing store.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We reached a scam verdict because this operation wears another company's identity and shows the classic signs of a fake investment platform.

  • It is a clone. The real Amundi is Europe's largest asset manager, created in 2010 from the asset managers of Credit Agricole and Societe Generale, based in Paris and regulated by France's AMF. Its sites are amundi.com and country pages such as amundi.com.tw. It has nothing to do with amuud.com.
  • The real firm disavows this behaviour. Amundi states it never contacts the public directly, never collects funds directly, and sells only through banks and brokers. A platform taking deposits under the Amundi name is therefore an impersonation.
  • Stolen local identity. The name 鋒匯集團 is a contraction of Amundi Taiwan's registered name 鋒裕匯理, and Amundi Taiwan publishes a specific fraud warning.
  • Scam infrastructure. The domain was registered in July 2024 and carried a farm of short throwaway login subdomains, and the same login-platform pattern on this domain goes back to 2021 on a Hong Kong cloud host.
  • Now defunct. Both platform addresses no longer resolve and the base domain has been turned into an unrelated clothing shop, which fits a platform that was reported and taken down.

Evidence ledger

Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.

6 against0 in favour
  • E1The operation used the name AMUNDI on the lookalike domain amuud.com. The real Amundi is Europe's largest asset manager, regulated by France's AMF, and states it never contacts the public directly or collects funds directly and sells only through banks and brokers, so a deposit-taking platform under its name is an impersonation.

  • E2The domain amuud.com was registered on 1 July 2024 through GoDaddy and placed behind Cloudflare, a brand-new domain for an operation posing as the long-established Amundi.

  • E3Certificate transparency records for amuud.com list a farm of short throwaway subdomains (dya, wda, wdd, wde, wdf, wdk, wdw, boa, ben, aia, hz666, mut957 and others), the signature of a scam spinning up many parallel fake-platform hosts.

    Strongcrt.sh certificate transparency
  • E4The two operating addresses dya.amuud.com and wda.amuud.com no longer resolve (NXDOMAIN), and the base domain amuud.com now serves an unrelated clothing store, consistent with a fake platform that was taken down.

    StrongPublic DNS (Google)
  • E5The operation's self-styled name 鋒匯集團 is a contraction of Amundi Taiwan's real registered name 鋒裕匯理, and Amundi Taiwan maintains a dedicated fraud-warning page, pointing to deliberate use of the real firm's local identity.

    StrongAmundi Taiwan
  • E6Taiwan's National Police Agency runs the 165 anti-fraud service and publishes a public list of reported fake investment websites. This operation, the wda.amuud.com platform tied to the name 鋒匯, was reported through that channel.

ModerateTaiwan National Police Agency 165 open data
  • E7The base domain amuud.com currently hosts an unrelated Taiwanese women's clothing store with its own business number. This is a separate current use of the domain and is not attributed to the investment scam.

    Weakamuud.com
  • E8The same domain hosted a farm of login-platform subdomains (for example wdd.amuud.com and paw.amuud.com) on a Hong Kong cloud host as far back as July 2021, showing a multi-year pedigree as a credential and platform farm.

    Moderateurlscan.io
Certificate transparency records for amuud.com reveal a farm of throwaway login subdomains (dya, wda, wdd, wde, wdf, boa, ben, aia and more), typical of a scam running many parallel fake platforms.
The real Amundi, Europe's largest asset manager and regulated by France's AMF, warns the public that fraudsters misuse its name and that it never contacts the public directly or collects funds directly.
Amundi's Taiwan arm, registered locally as 鋒裕匯理, publishes a fraud warning; the scam's self-styled name 鋒匯集團 is a contraction of this real name.
Taiwan's National Police Agency 165 anti-fraud service publishes a public dataset of reported fake investment websites, the channel through which this operation was flagged.
The real Amundi S.A.: Europe's largest asset manager with about 2.4 trillion euros under management, headquartered in Paris and regulated by the AMF, the identity this operation borrowed.
Amundi Hong Kong also publishes a scam-attempt warning, reinforcing that any AMUNDI trading platform on amuud.com is an impersonation.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

We looked for an innocent explanation before concluding.

  • Could it be a real Amundi regional site? No. Amundi's regional entities sit under amundi.com and country domains such as amundi.com.tw and amundi.com.hk. amuud.com appears on none of Amundi's official domains or registers.
  • Could the name be a coincidence? Unlikely. amuud.com is a near-spelling of Amundi, and the Chinese name 鋒匯 is lifted from Amundi Taiwan's real name. Both point to deliberate copying.
  • Is the current clothing shop the same business? The base domain now hosts an unrelated Taiwanese clothing store with its own tax number. We do not attribute that shop's details to the investment scam.
  • Limits. The trading pages are offline, so the exact wording and any licence numbers the platform once displayed are no longer visible.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

This verdict would change only if the identity link were broken.

  • Evidence that amuud.com is an official Amundi domain, listed on amundi.com or by the AMF. We found the opposite.
  • Proof that a real, licensed company operated the platform under a name it is entitled to use, rather than a contraction of Amundi's name.
  • Records showing the platform returned client funds on demand. The available signals point the other way.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

12 questions
Is AMUNDI (amuud.com) a scam?

Yes. It is a clone that copied the name of the real Amundi to run a fake investment platform. The real Amundi is not connected to amuud.com and the platform is now offline.

Is AMUNDI a fraud?

We assess the risk of fraud as high. The operation borrowed the identity of the AMF-regulated Amundi, used a lookalike domain, held no licence of its own, and was reported to Taiwan's police anti-fraud service. The real Amundi itself warns the public that fraudsters misuse its name.

Is amuud.com the real Amundi website?

No. The real Amundi uses amundi.com and country sites such as amundi.com.tw and amundi.com.hk. amuud.com is not an Amundi domain.

Is AMUNDI at amuud.com regulated?

No. This operation holds no licence of its own. It leaned on the real Amundi's AMF authorisation, which does not belong to it.

Can I withdraw my money from amuud.com?

The platform is offline and shows the pattern of a fake investment site. Getting funds back is unlikely. Contact your bank immediately and report it to the police.

Who is behind AMUNDI amuud.com?

The operators are undisclosed. It styled itself 鋒匯集團 (Fenghui Group), a name copied from Amundi Taiwan's 鋒裕匯理, but no such company appears on any registry.

How old is this operation?

The domain amuud.com was registered in July 2024. Despite trading on Amundi's decades-long reputation, the operation is barely a year old, and the same domain hosted similar login-platform pages back in 2021.

Is my money safe with AMUNDI amuud.com?

No. There is no licence, no compensation scheme and no accountable company. Money sent here should be treated as lost.

Is this a clone of another company?

Yes. It impersonates Amundi Asset Management, Europe's largest asset manager, based in Paris and regulated by France's AMF.

Why does amuud.com now show a clothing shop?

After the investment platform was taken down, the base domain was reused for an unrelated Taiwanese clothing store. That shop is not part of the scam and is not the real Amundi.

What should I check before depositing with any broker?

Confirm the exact domain and licence number on the regulator's own register, and be wary of a famous name on an odd-looking domain. Always reach a firm through its official website.

Where can I report AMUNDI amuud.com?

In Taiwan, call the 165 anti-fraud hotline. Elsewhere, contact your local financial regulator and your bank.

Our advice

Treat AMUNDI (amuud.com) as a scam clone and do not send it money.

  • Do not deposit, and ignore anyone who contacts you as Amundi, 鋒匯 or amuud.com.
  • Verify any Amundi approach through amundi.com or your own bank. The real Amundi never solicits the public directly.
  • If you have paid money, contact your bank at once and report it to Taiwan's 165 anti-fraud hotline or your local police.
  • Keep the operation flagged publicly as a clone of Amundi Asset Management.
