Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
10/10 · CriticalNo licence on any register while taking retail deposits, plus warning-list entries from two regulators naming axaforex.com, and a claimed Marshall Islands licence that does not exist as a category.
Identity & transparency
9/10 · CriticalThe published company and registration number are absent from the Marshall Islands register, the Terms name no legal entity, the address and governing law point to two different countries, and the only phone contact is a WhatsApp mobile.
Withdrawals & conduct
4/10 · ModerateNo verifiable pattern of refused withdrawals was established and no advance-fee demand was found in its documents; the score reflects the absence of any recourse if funds are withheld, not confirmed losses.
Reputation
8/10 · CriticalTwo national regulators have published warnings against this exact website, and there is no verifiable client footprint anywhere to weigh against them, including zero reviews on Trustpilot.
Website claims
9/10 · CriticalClaims a licence from a jurisdiction that issues none, asserts full segregation with top-tier banks and AML compliance while accepting Monero with no prior verification, names a different broker in its own regulation answer, and carries unverifiable named testimonials.
Operational history
5/10 · ModerateThe 2021 domain registration is genuine and its age claim is honest, but the figure is an upper bound because the operating company cannot be dated or even located, and all client-facing systems sit on a domain registered in February 2025.
Who they are
A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
Two sovereign regulators have independently warned the public about this exact website, it holds no licence anywhere, and the only corporate identity it publishes cannot be found in the register that would record it.
- The FCA warning names the domain and the address. The notice, first published 23 March 2023, lists the firm as AXAFOREX, the website as www.axaforex.com, and the address as Capitol Building, Capitol Loop, Delap-Uliga-Djarrit, Majuro Atoll, Marshall Islands, 732167-NX. That is the same address printed on the broker's own contact page, so there is no question of a similarly named third party. The FCA states the firm is not authorised and is targeting people in the UK.
- The CNMV listed it as an unauthorised entity. Searching the CNMV register of warned companies returns one hit dated 8 April 2024, against HTTPS://AXAFOREX.COM. This is a second regulator, in a second country, thirteen months apart, and it is recorded under the CNMV's own warnings rather than relayed from another authority.
- The operating company cannot be found. The Marshall Islands Registrar of Corporations publishes a live entity search covering active, annulled, dissolved, transferred and converted entities. Searching entity number 732167 returns no data. Searching the name AXINVEST as a limited liability company returns no data, as a corporation returns no data, and AXAFOREX returns no data. A control search on a common word returned 348 active companies, so the register answers normally. The company and number on the broker's own contact page are not in it.
- The licence it claims is not a thing that exists. The FAQ answer to how AXAFOREX.com is regulated says it operates under a licence from the Marshall Islands, then explains in the same paragraph that retail spot forex there needs no licensing. The Marshall Islands has no forex regulator and issues no forex licence; what is sold as one is ordinary company incorporation. The authority the answer names is not the jurisdiction's financial supervisor.
- The paperwork points at two different offshore jurisdictions. The address and the licence claim say Marshall Islands, but the Terms of Use put every dispute under the law and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and name no company as the counterparty. A client who needed to sue would not know who, or where, to sue.
- Deposit rails undercut its own safety claims. The FAQ states that all retail client money is fully segregated and held with top-tier banks and that the firm complies with anti-money-laundering law. The deposit page states that cryptocurrency can be paid in without prior verification, and the accepted list includes Monero, a coin built to be untraceable. There is no supervisor to test the segregation claim and no scheme to compensate anyone.
- Its own regulation answer names a different broker. The text reads AZAFOREX.com, which is a separate company, indicating the regulatory wording was lifted from another broker's website rather than written about this one.
- How old it is, honestly. axaforex.com was registered on 5 July 2021, which is consistent with the 2021 notice in its footer, and we credit that. But the five-year figure rests on the domain alone and should be read as an upper bound, because the operating company could not be dated at all: it is absent from the register that would hold its incorporation date. All client-facing systems, including the client area, the platform and the deposit flow, sit on axaforex.org, registered on 20 February 2025.
- What we did not find. No regulator has opened an enforcement action, no court has made a finding, and we could not verify a single first-person account of a blocked withdrawal on any review platform. The withdrawal-complaint stories that circulate about this broker appear on pages that sell fund-recovery services, and we have not counted them. The verdict rests on the regulator warnings and the missing identity, not on complaints.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The UK Financial Conduct Authority warns that AXAFOREX is not authorised and is targeting people in the UK. The notice lists the website as www.axaforex.com and the address as Capitol Building, Capitol Loop, Delap-Uliga-Djarrit, Majuro Atoll, Marshall Islands, 732167-NX, matching the broker's own contact page. First published 23 March 2023.
E2Spain's CNMV register of warned companies returns one entry dated 08/04/2024 against HTTPS://AXAFOREX.COM, listed under unauthorised entities, recorded as the CNMV's own public warning rather than relayed from a foreign regulator.
E3The Marshall Islands Registrar of Corporations entity search holds no record of the operating company. Entity number 732167 returns no data; the name AXINVEST returns no data as a limited liability company and none as a corporation; AXAFOREX returns no data. A control search for a common word returned 348 active companies, confirming the register answers normally, and it covers dissolved and annulled entities as well as active ones.
E4The broker's own FAQ states that it operates under a licence from the Marshall Islands and attributes the treatment of spot forex to a Marshall Islands Financial Services Authority, then concedes in the same paragraph that the business requires no additional licensing. The Marshall Islands has no forex regulator and issues no forex licence, so the licence described does not exist.
E5The Terms of Use place all claims under the laws and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, while the contact page and the licence claim say Marshall Islands. No legal entity is named anywhere in the agreement, only the website, so the contracting counterparty is undisclosed.
E6The deposit page states that cryptocurrency can be paid into a trading account without prior verification, with identity checks required only for cards and e-wallets. Accepted coins include Monero, Dash and Litecoin, and the minimum initial deposit is $5.
ModerateAXAFOREX.com Deposit Funds pageE7The FAQ claims all retail client money is fully segregated and held in separate accounts with top-tier banks, that the firm never engages in proprietary trading, and that it complies with anti-money-laundering law. With no licence there is no supervisor to verify any of it, and the same site offers crypto deposits without prior identity checks.
E8The contact page gives only an email address, a UK mobile number for WhatsApp and the Majuro address with the number 732167-NX. No company name and no office telephone line are published. The number differs from the one recorded in the FCA notice.
ModerateAXAFOREX.com Contact Us pageE9The regulation answer on the broker's own FAQ refers to AZAFOREX.com, a different and unrelated company, indicating the regulatory wording was copied from another broker's website rather than written about this operation.
E10The home page sells binary options, leverage to 1:1000, a crypto deposit bonus up to 30 percent and PAMM managed accounts, in seventeen languages including German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch. The Windows platform is a self-hosted installer served from the broker's own download subdomain rather than an official terminal.
ModerateAXAFOREX.com home pageE11The Trustpilot page for axaforex.com holds no reviews at all and the profile is unclaimed. For an operation marketing itself as a leading broker across seventeen languages since 2021, there is no verifiable client footprint in either direction.
ModerateTrustpilot, axaforex.com profileE12The domain axaforex.com was registered on 5 July 2021 through Tucows, with Cloudflare nameservers and an expiry of 5 July 2027. This matches the 2021 copyright notice on the site, so the age the broker implies is consistent with the record.
E13The domain axaforex.org, which carries the client area, the trading platform, the Android app, the Windows installer and the partner area, was registered on 20 February 2025 through Namecheap. The systems that take and hold client money are therefore about eighteen months old.
E14An independent broker database records the operation as unregulated with no forex trading licence found, lists both the FCA warning of 23 March 2023 and the CNMV warning of 8 April 2024, and notes that no matching information was found in the Marshall Islands registry. It carries no user reviews.
E15The crypto bonus terms state the bonus is for trading only and cannot be withdrawn, and that it is cancelled in proportion when the client withdraws funds. There is no requirement to trade a minimum number of lots before withdrawing the client's own money, so the usual deposit-locking mechanism is absent.
E16The deposits and withdrawals policy reads as conventional industry terms: payment from an account in the client's own name, reversal of third-party payments, refusal on anti-money-laundering grounds, stated processing windows and a $20 minimum international wire fee. No advance-fee clause and no demand for a tax or release payment appears anywhere in it.
E17The CNMV record against this website is a public warning about unauthorised activity, not a sanction or enforcement proceeding, and no enforcement action or court finding against the operation was located in either jurisdiction.
E18Archive coverage of axaforex.com shows captures in 2010, 2011 and 2014, then a gap of almost seven years, with continuous coverage of the current broker resuming in September 2021. The earlier captures relate to unrelated use of the domain before this operation registered it.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The fair case for AXAFOREX, and the things that genuinely count in its favour.
- It does not pretend to be a regulated firm. It quotes no tier-one licence number, displays no regulator badge, and claims no membership of any compensation scheme. The FCA did not flag it as a clone, and we found nothing to suggest it trades on the identity of the AXA insurance group or any other licensed company. The brand name is close to a famous one, but proximity is not impersonation and we are not treating it as such.
- Its age claim is accurate. The 2021 copyright notice matches a domain registered in July 2021. Many operations in this category inflate their history by a decade; this one does not.
- The bonus is not a withdrawal trap. The crypto bonus is credit for trading only, cannot be withdrawn, and is cancelled in proportion when a client withdraws. There is no requirement to trade a set number of lots before touching your own money, which is the usual mechanism for locking deposits in.
- The withdrawal policy reads like standard industry terms. It reserves the right to refuse payment on anti-money-laundering grounds and to reverse third-party payments, states processing windows and a $20 wire fee. Licensed brokers carry comparable clauses. We found no advance-fee clause and no demand for a tax or release payment anywhere in its documents.
- The legal documentation exists. Terms of use, risk warning, privacy policy, an AML and KYC policy and a funding policy are all published and reachable, and the site is actively maintained, with analysis articles into 2026.
- Nobody has proved a loss. We tested the obvious innocent explanations and found no sign of a licensed parent, a group affiliation, a rebrand or a predecessor brand, but we equally found no verified pattern of clients being denied their money. Two regulator warnings concern selling without permission. They are not findings of theft, and we have not described them as such.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
Concrete things that would move this verdict, in either direction.
- Removal of the warnings. If the FCA withdrew its notice on axaforex.com and the CNMV removed its 8 April 2024 entry, the two items carrying this verdict would be gone and the case would have to be rebuilt from scratch.
- The company turning up on the register. If AXINVEST GROUP LLC, number 732167-NX, appeared in the Marshall Islands Registrar's entity search with an incorporation date, the operation would at least have a verifiable legal existence, and the identity and history scores would fall.
- A real licence. An entry for the operating entity on the register of any genuine financial regulator, covering dealing in the instruments it sells, would change the regulation assessment immediately. The licence would have to name the entity that actually holds client money.
- One consistent jurisdiction. Terms of use that name the contracting company and place disputes in the same country as its registration would remove the contradiction between Majuro and Saint Vincent.
- Evidence running the other way. Independent, dated accounts of withdrawals being paid in full, on an established platform, with amounts and timings, would be meaningful. So would an on-site check confirming staffed offices at the registered address.
- Evidence making it worse. A documented pattern of refused withdrawals, any demand for a fee, tax or insurance payment before releasing funds, or an enforcement action or court case would push this to the top of the scale.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is AXAFOREX a scam?
We assess AXAFOREX as a very high scam risk. It holds no financial licence from any regulator, the UK's FCA published a warning naming www.axaforex.com in March 2023, and Spain's CNMV listed the site as an unauthorised entity in April 2024. The company it names as its operator cannot be found in the Marshall Islands register.
Is AXAFOREX a fraud?
No court or regulator has made a fraud finding against AXAFOREX, so we do not state that as a fact. What is on the public record is that two regulators warn it is not authorised, that it holds no licence anywhere, and that the company and registration number it publishes do not appear in the Marshall Islands registry. On that evidence we assess the risk of fraud as high.
Is AXAFOREX regulated?
No. We found no licence for this operation on any regulator's register. Its FAQ says it operates under a licence from the Marshall Islands, but that jurisdiction has no forex regulator and issues no forex licence. What is marketed as a Marshall Islands licence is ordinary company incorporation, which involves no check on capital, conduct or client money.
Can I withdraw my money from AXAFOREX?
We could not verify any first-person account of a withdrawal being paid or refused, so we cannot tell you either way. What we can tell you is that if payment stops there is no regulator to complain to, no compensation scheme and no ombudsman, and most of its deposit methods are cryptocurrency, which cannot be reversed. If you hold a balance, request it now and document everything.
Is my money safe with AXAFOREX?
No one independent is checking. Its FAQ states client money is fully segregated and held with top-tier banks, but with no licence there is no supervisor to audit that claim, no capital requirement and no insurance on your deposit. The same site also says cryptocurrency can be deposited without prior verification, which is not how a supervised firm handles client funds.
Who owns AXAFOREX?
The contact page gives AXINVEST GROUP LLC, registration 732167-NX, at an address in Majuro, Marshall Islands. We searched the Marshall Islands Registrar of Corporations by that number and by name and found no such company. The Terms of Use name no company at all, only the website, so there is no identified counterparty to your trading account.
How old is AXAFOREX?
The axaforex.com domain was registered on 5 July 2021, which matches the 2021 copyright notice on the site, so the brand is about five years old. Treat that as an upper limit rather than a track record: the operating company could not be dated because it is missing from the register, and the client area, platform and deposit systems run on a second domain registered in February 2025.
Is a Marshall Islands licence worth anything?
No, because there is no such licence. The Marshall Islands does not license or supervise forex brokers, so a company there is simply incorporated, not regulated. Any broker describing a Marshall Islands registration as a licence is describing a company formation as financial regulation.
Is AXAFOREX a clone of another broker?
We found no evidence of that. It quotes no other firm's licence number, uses no other company's registration details and the FCA did not flag it as a clone firm. Its name sits close to the AXA insurance group, but we found nothing claiming any link to AXA, and warnings about websites impersonating AXA concern different operations entirely.
Why do the FCA and CNMV warnings matter?
Because both name this exact website rather than a similar brand, which rules out mistaken identity. The FCA notice lists the website and the same Majuro address the broker prints itself, and the CNMV entry reads HTTPS://AXAFOREX.COM. Two separate national authorities, thirteen months apart, reached the same conclusion: it is selling investment services without permission.
AXAFOREX offers 1:1000 leverage and binary options. Is that normal?
Not for a supervised broker serving retail clients. UK and EU rules cap retail forex leverage at around 1:30 and ban the sale of binary options to retail clients outright. Offering both, alongside a $5 minimum deposit and a 30 percent deposit bonus, is characteristic of a firm operating outside those rules rather than within them.
What should I do if I have already deposited with AXAFOREX?
Request a full withdrawal immediately and save every message, ticket number, amount and date. Do not pay any fee, tax or insurance charge to release funds, as that is the advance-fee pattern and paying it never returns the original money. If you used a card, contact your bank about a chargeback at once. Report the firm to the FCA if you are in the UK or the CNMV if you are in Spain.
Someone has offered to recover my money from AXAFOREX. Should I use them?
No. Several of the pages ranking highest for this broker's name exist to sell fund-recovery services to people who have already lost money, and they ask for payment up front. Genuine recovery runs through your bank, your card issuer or the police, none of which charge a fee in advance.
What would make AXAFOREX safe to use?
A licence for the company that holds client money, on the register of a real financial regulator, covering the products it sells. Alongside that, the FCA and CNMV warnings would need to be withdrawn, the operating company would need to appear in a corporate register with an incorporation date, and its terms would need to name that company and place disputes in the same jurisdiction.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Do not send money to AXAFOREX, and treat any approach from it as unsolicited.
- Do not deposit. There is no regulator behind this operation, no segregation anyone can audit and no compensation scheme. Money paid in cryptocurrency, which is most of what it accepts, is effectively unrecoverable once sent.
- If you already have a balance, try to withdraw it now and keep a record of every request, ticket and reply, with dates and amounts.
- Never pay a fee to release your own funds. A demand for tax, insurance, a verification charge or a withdrawal unlock payment is the advance-fee pattern. Paying it does not get the first sum back.
- Ignore anyone who contacts you offering to recover your money. Several pages that rank highly for this broker's name exist to sell recovery services to people who have already lost money. They charge up front and recover nothing.
- Report it. UK residents can report an unauthorised firm to the FCA, and Spanish residents to the CNMV, both of which already list this website. If you paid by card, ask your bank about a chargeback straight away, as time limits apply.
- Check before you deposit anywhere else. Search the regulator's own register for the company that will hold your money, not the brand on the website, and confirm the permission covers dealing in what you want to trade.
This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears. Review scores are treated with caution when a broker’s reviews look manipulated. Last reviewed October 14, 2026.
