What Big Boss legally published, but does not want you to read

Every clause below is published by Big Boss itself, on its own website, today. The finding is not that the text exists. It is the distance between what a client is shown and what a client agreed to. Read from its own documents on .

Contracting entity: Big Boss Ltd.

sole discretionwithdrawalsprofit voidinghidden feekyc freezebonus lockforum waiverjoint liabilitycountry restrictionunilateral amendment

BigBoss publishes no client agreement. Its Guidelines punish you under Article 5 of a contract that is not on the site, eight times over. BigBoss pays a loss on one account out of your other accounts before it covers anything itself. A clause added since the previous version bars you from posting about BigBoss online, and the penalty is your profit and your account.

The numbers in this contractFigures taken from this broker's own clauses, so the labels differ from broker to broker. The four in the panel above are the same on every report.

2 of these 4 figures come from a clause we rate critical, which means it can take your money or your profit rather than only delay it.

What the documents say

20 clauses worth knowing about, worst first, each quoted from Big Boss's own files

01

BigBoss takes money out of your other trading accounts to clear a negative balance on one of them. It uses your cash balances first, then your bonus credit, and covers only what is left over itself.

In plain words

Negative balance protection is a limit that stops you owing more than you put in. Without it, one fast market move can leave you owing the broker money on top of your deposit.

Why this matters

A loss on one account can empty every other account you hold at BigBoss. Your open positions in those accounts can be force closed, and BigBoss says it takes no responsibility for that.

Exhibit 1CriticalHarder than usual

The balance will be automatically replenished from other accounts with balance. Please adjust the balance of your accounts before the replenishment.

What it costsBigBoss publishes its own example. An account 2,000,000 yen down is refilled with 300,000 yen from account B, 150,000 yen from account C and 1,350,000 yen from account D, then the credit in each. Only the last 30,000 yen is zero cut.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), ESMA (EU)

Firms licensed by the FCA, and those following ESMA rules, must give a retail client negative balance protection on a per account basis, so a loss cannot spread to other accounts. BigBoss clears the loss from your other accounts first and pays only the remainder.

Big Boss is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 6The same negative balance that drains your other accounts also freezes withdrawals from all of them until it is cleared.
02

BigBoss can suspend your trading, freeze your account and void your trades under Article 5 of its Client Agreement. Its Guidelines point to that article eight times, and no Client Agreement is published anywhere on the site.

Why this matters

You cannot read the rule that decides what happens to your money. You also cannot check whether BigBoss applied it correctly, because the text is not public.

Exhibit 2CriticalRarely seen8

Besides, if there is no improvement in EA's trading strategy, such as order frequency, we may take measures following Article 5 of the Client Agreement, so please refrain from extreme transactions.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must give a retail client the full terms of business before they trade. BigBoss publishes a Privacy Statement and a Guideline, and names a Client Agreement that it does not publish.

Big Boss is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

Our readingA rulebook that enforces itself by cross reference to an unpublished document is unusual. The penalties are specific and public. The article that authorises them is neither.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 3The published penalties are severe and the article that triggers them is unreadable, so you cannot tell in advance what crosses the line.
03

BigBoss can cancel all your trades, hand back only the money you paid in, and delete your account for good if it decides you broke a guideline. Every profit above your deposit is gone.

Why this matters

Years of gains can be cut back to your original deposit by one internal decision. The deleted account is never restored, and a new account gets the same treatment once BigBoss notices it.

Exhibit 3CriticalHarder than usual

In violation, all applicable transactions will be invalidated, the principal deposited by the customer (only the amount deducted if there is already a withdrawn amount) will be refunded, and then the corresponding account will be deleted.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 8Two people trading from one home connection is enough to reach this penalty, because a shared address is treated as lending your account.
04

You agree not to publish anything passing between you and BigBoss on the internet or social media. BigBoss added this to its rulebook since the previous version, and the penalty for breaking it is your profit and your account.

Why this matters

Posting a screenshot of a support reply or a trade dispute puts you in breach. The penalty is the same one used for abusive trading: every trade cancelled and the account deleted for good.

Exhibit 4CriticalRarely seenNew

Our readingConfidentiality in a retail trading agreement normally runs one way and protects the client's data. This one binds the client, and it covers anything passing between the two sides, including a complaint.

05

BigBoss tells you in English that it does not accept applications from Japanese residents. It runs a full Japanese site, publishes guides on declaring its profits on a Japanese tax return, and waives its withdrawal fee for banks in Japan.

Why this matters

If a dispute ever reaches a court, BigBoss holds a written record saying it never accepted you. You would be arguing against its own published terms.

A single negative balance on any Standard, Pro Spread, MASS Standard or CRYPTOS account blocks withdrawals and transfers from every other account you hold. Your Deluxe accounts are blocked too.

Three separate routes let BigBoss reduce your balance to what you paid in

BigBoss pays a loss on one account out of the cash and bonus credit in your other accounts, and force closes their positions to do it. A breach of any guideline lets it cancel every trade, return only your deposit and delete the account for good. A payment arriving in somebody else's name voids your profit while your losses still stand.

Money already earned1 clause flagged

If money reaches BigBoss from a name that is not yours, BigBoss returns your deposit and cancels the profit you made with it. If you lost money instead, it returns only what is left after the loss.

Why this matters

The rule runs one way. You keep the losses and BigBoss keeps the gains, and any payment that does not match your account name triggers it.

Exhibit 7CriticalRarely seen

Funds sent from the name of a third party will be remanded immediately without exception. Even if the transaction has already started and the profit has been confirmed, the refund will be limited to the principal received and the profit will be invalid.

What it costsA $1,000 deposit that grows to $1,500 comes back as $1,000, and the $500 profit is cancelled. The same $1,000 deposit that falls to $600 comes back as $600.

Our readingReturning a third party payment is standard anti money laundering practice. Keeping the profit made in the meantime, while passing the loss back to the client, is not.

On a Premier account the affiliate who signed you up trades the funds

BigBoss says a Premier account is managed by a third party, usually the affiliate who introduced you, and that you will not know the trading position unless that person tells you. The account has no trading access of its own. When a fund manager refuses your withdrawal, BigBoss says it cannot answer questions about it.

Who trades your money1 clause flagged

A Premier account is traded by a fund manager, usually the affiliate who introduced you to it. BigBoss says you will not know what is happening in the account unless that person tells you.

Why this matters

Your withdrawal can be refused by the fund manager, and BigBoss says it will not answer questions about that refusal. You cannot trade the account yourself to get out.

Exhibit 13CriticalRarely seen

A third party (usually an affiliate who introduces you to use a Premier Account) will be managing your funds, namely, to trade on your behalf.

BigBoss courts Japanese traders in a language its English disclaimer contradicts

BigBoss states in English that it does not accept applications from Japanese residents. It runs a full Japanese site, writes guides on declaring its profits through Japan's e-Tax system and its furusato nozei scheme, and waives its withdrawal charge for banks in Japan. Its Japanese rulebook also grants an enforcement power on suspicion that the English version leaves out.

Language arbitrage2 clauses flagged

BigBoss advertises leverage up to 2,222x. That rate reaches you only on a Deluxe account with a balance under $10,001, and only once you equip items bought from its in-account shop.

Why this matters

An ordinary BigBoss account opens at 1111:1, half the advertised figure. The top rate also disappears as soon as your balance passes $10,000.

Exhibit 15WarningHarder than usual2222

By equipping items, the account leverage can be increased to the maximum of 2,222x.
Clause Correspondence table of variable leverage system and Account Balance in BigBoss Deluxe Account

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), ASIC (Australia), ESMA (EU)

Firms licensed by the FCA or ASIC, and those following ESMA rules, cap retail forex leverage at 30:1. BigBoss opens accounts at 1111:1 and advertises 2,222x on its Deluxe account.

Big Boss is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

The Japanese Guidelines let BigBoss act against you the moment suspicion arises. The English Guidelines set out the same rule on unfair trading and leave that sentence out.

Why this matters

Which version binds you depends on which language you read. The English text never tells you that suspicion alone is enough to trigger enforcement.

Our readingTwo language versions of one rulebook usually track each other clause for clause. Here the Japanese version carries an enforcement trigger, action on suspicion, that the English version does not state.

The $20 withdrawal charge is missing from the rulebook's own fee section

BigBoss charges $20 for a bank withdrawal from a dollar account, or 2,000 yen from a yen account, and charges it again on every separate application. The section of the BigBoss Guideline headed User fees names only the account opening fee and the $5 inactivity charge. A client who reads the rulebook before depositing never sees the withdrawal cost.

Cost disclosure1 clause flagged

BigBoss charges you $20 for a bank withdrawal from a dollar account, or 2,000 yen from a yen account. Two withdrawals in one day cost the fee twice, and BigBoss will not merge them.

Why this matters

The charge lives in the FAQ. The Guidelines section headed User fees names only the account opening fee and the inactivity charge, so reading the rulebook never shows it to you.

For bank withdrawals, BigBoss charges $20 for USD account or 2000 yen for yen accounts.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must disclose costs and charges to a retail client before they trade. BigBoss puts the withdrawal charge in a support answer and leaves it out of the fee section of its own rulebook.

Big Boss is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

One account in the red locks the money in all the others

A single negative balance on any BigBoss Standard, Pro Spread, MASS Standard or CRYPTOS account blocks withdrawals and transfers from every other account you hold, Deluxe accounts included, with no stated time limit. Card deposits are separately locked for 60 days if you have not traded them.

Getting money out1 clause flagged

Money you pay in by credit card stays locked for 60 days if you have not traded with it. BigBoss says the rule stops people using a trading account to take cash off a card.

Why this matters

Depositing by card and changing your mind means waiting two months for your own money. The FAQ states the same rule as two months, so check which one applies before you pay in.

Exhibit 11WarningStandard wording60 days

Also, for those who made payment in credit card, if you apply for withdrawal without trading at all, due to the prevention of cashing credit card frame purposes and the like, we do not accept fund withdrawal requests that the funds are funded via credit card within 60days.

The bonus shrinks in proportion every time you touch the money

BigBoss advertises a deposit bonus of up to $13,840, and cancels it proportionally whenever you withdraw from or transfer out of the account holding it. The bonus does not follow the funds to the destination account. All bonus credit goes if BigBoss finds what it calls an illegal transaction, a term the page never defines.

Bonus conditions1 clause flagged

Taking money out of an account holding bonus credit cancels part of that bonus, in the same proportion as the withdrawal. Moving money between your own accounts does the same, and the bonus does not follow the funds.

Why this matters

Withdrawing half your balance costs you half your trading credit. The bonus advertised at up to $13,840 shrinks every time you touch the account.

Exhibit 12WarningHarder than usual$13840

Please note that once a withdrawal is made from a trading account holding bonus, bonus in that account will be canceled proportionally to the withdrawal amount in relation to the account balance.

A shared internet connection is treated as lending out your account

BigBoss treats trading by more than one person from the same or a similar IP address as proof that you lent your account to somebody else, and applies its Article 5 penalties. It recalculates your leverage daily from the combined balance of every account you hold, cutting it from 1111:1 to 555:1 above $20,000. The Guidelines outrank the contract and BigBoss can change them at any time.

Rules on your account3 clauses flagged

BigBoss treats trading by more than one user from the same or a similar IP address as proof that you lent your account to somebody else. It then applies the penalties in Article 5.

Why this matters

Two people trading from one home, one office or one mobile network can trigger this. Nothing in the rule says BigBoss asks you to explain first.

Exhibit 8WarningRarely seen

Suppose it is discovered or the company determines that transactions from multiple users and accounts are being performed from the same or similar IP address.
Clause Prohibition of access to multiple accounts with the same IP address in BigBoss Guideline
Read from the broker's site on Open the reference

Our readingOne account per IP address is common enough. Extending it to a similar address is not, because it catches everybody sharing an internet provider's address range.

  • Only applies after Exhibit 2The consequence of a shared address is whatever Article 5 says, and Article 5 is the part BigBoss does not publish.

BigBoss recalculates your leverage once a day from the combined balance of every account you hold. Passing $20,000 cuts it from 1111:1 to 555:1, and passing $100,000 cuts it to 100:1.

Why this matters

Positions you opened at high leverage can need far more margin the next day, through no act of your own. Spreading funds across accounts to avoid this is banned and can freeze the account.

Exhibit 14WarningHarder than usual$20000

The leverage ratio based on the account balance is updated once a day, in 10 minutes after EOD (End of day) according to the total balance of all accounts held by the user.

The governing law clause names no law and no court

BigBoss says disputes are read under its own country's law and heard by its own country's court, and never names the country. Its pages point to two, Comoros and Mauritius. The same rulebook states that no contractual relationship between BigBoss and its users will ever arise.

Where you would sue1 clause flagged

BigBoss says its own country's law governs any dispute you have with it, and that its own country's court decides it. It never names that country, and its pages point to two, Comoros and Mauritius.

Why this matters

You cannot find out which court you would have to use, or which law applies, before you deposit. Both sit outside the country you live in.

Exhibit 16WarningRarely seen

  • Only applies after Exhibit 17Working out which court hears your claim first needs the answer to which of the two companies you contracted with, and no document gives it.

Money goes in before verification and comes out only after it

BigBoss advertises that an unverified client still gets the deposit bonus, and requires verification to be complete before any withdrawal. Proof of identity and proof of address must both be dated within three months of issue, and the address must match the application exactly. Your funds can be inside the account before anybody checks whether your documents will pass.

120 quiet days start a charge that ends in a deleted account

BigBoss marks you inactive after 120 days with no deposit, transfer, trade or bonus, and withdrawals do not count as activity. A $5 monthly fee starts a month later, and your bonus credit and BigBoss Points are cancelled across every account. Dormancy1 clause flagged

BigBoss marks you inactive after 120 days with no deposit, transfer, trade or bonus on any account you hold. A $5 monthly fee then starts, your bonus credit goes, and the account closes once the balance cannot pay the fee.

Two companies, one Comoros licence, and no named counterparty

BigBoss names Big Boss Ltd. of Comoros as the company and BigBoss Mauritius Limited as a business partner, and no published document says which one you contract with or which holds your deposit. The 2024 privacy statement named a third company that has since disappeared from the site.

In plain words

What changed quietly

This is our first reading of BigBoss, so there is nothing to compare it against.

  • ADDEDClause Rules for compliance with guidelines

BigBoss added a clause stopping you from publishing anything that passes between you and the company, into the paragraph whose penalty is account deletion.

You shall agree not to disclose and/or make public all information shared between BigBoss and you on any online platforms, including but not limited to the internet and social media.
  • REWRITTENClause Footer disclaimer

The company behind the service changed from one named entity to two different ones, and Macao joined the barred list, with no notice in the document itself.

BigBoss is a service based on Big Boss Ltd. (Comoros) and BigBoss Mauritius Limited. BigBoss does not provide Contracts for Difference to residents to certain jurisdictions, such as USA, Iran and Macao.

The documents this reading is based on

11 files, all published by Big Boss. Each shows when we read it and a fingerprint of its wording.

WIKILIX keeps the copy of each file it read, and does not republish it: what is published is the fingerprint of its wording. Download the file yourself and hash its text, lowercased with runs of whitespace collapsed, and a matching fingerprint means the wording quoted above is still the wording Big Boss publishes.

Who the contract is with

Big Boss Ltd.

Big Boss Ltd. is registered at P.B. 1257 Bonovo Road, Fomboni, Mohéli, Comoros, with number HT00324029. BigBoss lists BigBoss Mauritius Limited separately, as a business partner rather than as the company. The Guidelines and the Privacy Statement never say which of the two you contract with, or which one holds your deposit. The 2024 Privacy Statement named a third company, Big Boss Holdings Company Limited, which appears nowhere on the site today.

Quotations are copied verbatim from the documents named above, with the clause number and the page each one came from. Where a clause is quoted in another language, the original is shown first and the English is a translation.

The plain-language parts, what a clause means for a client, how ordinary it is, and how it reads against a regulated standard, are WIKILIX's analysis and are labelled as such on every card. This is a reading of public documents, not legal advice and not an allegation of wrongdoing.

In fairness, and what we could not check

A reader who knows the edges of the work can trust the middle of it

BigBoss runs a dedicated appeal window for clients who disagree with a transaction investigation, and it works in English as well as Japanese. Most offshore brokers offer no route at all. The inactivity rules get their own page with exact thresholds and a table instead of a buried clause. The negative balance page publishes a worked example with real figures showing which account BigBoss drains first, and in what order.

BigBoss names a Client Agreement and a Terms of Use throughout its Guidelines. Neither is published anywhere on its site, so we could not read the article that every penalty depends on. We read the Privacy Statement and the Guidelines end to end. We read parts of the FAQ, the Deluxe account page and the Japanese Guidelines, not all of them. Only one earlier copy of the Guidelines exists, from September 2024, and we compared its main rule sections rather than the whole page. We did not open the client portal, so any fee shown only after you log in is not covered here. We did not read the CRYPTOS terms.

How to check any of this yourself

Every quote above links to the Big Boss file it came from. This is what to do with it.

Open the three stepsFind the words in the source, work out the fingerprint, and read what a difference does and does not prove.

Open the source and search for the words

Every quote has a link under it. Open the file, or the web page, and search it for the words we quote. The clause number next to the quote tells you where to look.

If the words are not there any more, the source may have changed after we read it. That is worth knowing too. We keep the date we read it, and a code worked out from its wording, so the quote stays checkable.

What a fingerprint is

A fingerprint is a code worked out from what a source says. Change one word and the code changes completely. We keep two codes for every file we read, and the panel on each source shows both.

The first is the code of the exact file we downloaded. The second is the code of its wording alone, with capital letters lowered and runs of spaces collapsed. When the same words are saved as a new file, the first code changes and the second one stays the same.

Only the first code can be worked out on your own computer. Save the file, then run one of these, putting the name of the file you saved where the example is. The panel on each source prints the command with that source's real file name already in it.

macOS or Linux:
  shasum -a 256 the-file-you-saved.pdf

Windows:
  certutil -hashfile the-file-you-saved.pdf SHA256

The two codes are different from each other, and they are not meant to match. Comparing one against the other proves nothing.

What a difference means, and what it does not

A different file code on its own proves nothing. A PDF saved again with a new date inside it is a new file saying exactly the same thing.

A different wording code means the words themselves changed. That is the one that matters, and it is why we keep it.

Even then, a change is not proof of bad faith. Companies update their documents. What this report says is what the document said on the day we read it, and every quote carries that date.

A source that is a web page and not a file has no file to save, so only the code of its wording is shown.

How this report is made

Every clause quoted above comes from a document Big Boss publishes on its own website, downloaded and hashed on the date shown, with the clause number and page recorded so any reader can check it. We do not allege anything the documents do not say, and we do not judge Big Boss on anything other than its own published terms and its own public marketing. Where a clause has a qualifier that softens it, the report says so. Last read Sep 24, 2026.

If you represent Big Boss and a clause has changed, been withdrawn, or is being read out of context, tell us and we will re-read the documents and update this page. Corrections from the broker are welcome and are published with the reading they change. Contact us.

This is a reading of a contract, not legal advice and not a ruling on Big Boss. Whether its licence is real and current is a separate check on the broker profile.
