Finding

A company registrar on the autonomous island of Mwali (Moh'eli), Comoros, not a financial supervisor. The Central Bank of the Comoros has publicly disavowed its financial licences. Client protection: None. No segregation of client funds, no compensation scheme, no meaningful oversight.. Effective: 19 Mar 2024. Expires: 19 Mar 2025.

Verification note

Bullfxo Ltd publishes licence number BFX2024046 and names the Mwali International Services Authority as its regulator on its own website, in its Client Agreement and in its AML Policy. The authority runs no public licence search, and this check found no independent record confirming that the licence exists or is in force, so the claim stands as advertised by the broker rather than confirmed. Readers should treat the authorisation as unverified: the jurisdiction operates no compensation scheme and no complaints route for clients.

MISA is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Most Popular Questions

As the counterparty to its clients. The Client Agreement states that the company executes client orders in contracts for difference as principal to principal against the client, and that it is without exception the execution venue and the sole counterparty to those trades. In practical terms it is a market maker, so a client's loss is the firm's gain, and there is no external venue against which a quoted price can be checked.

A demo account is listed as a feature of all four tiers on the account comparison. No swap-free or Islamic account is advertised anywhere on the site, and the fee documentation states that swap is charged on every position held overnight.

Your recourse is limited. The Client Agreement points complaints to the broker's own internal procedure, then makes the law of Mwali the governing law and reserves disputes to the Mwali courts. There is no ombudsman, no compensation scheme and no financial regulator in your own country with authority over the firm, so a dispute you cannot settle with the broker directly has no practical escalation route.

Live chat, email to info@bullfxo.com and the telephone number +81 50 3114 8492, which is a Japanese line. Support is described as available 24 hours a day on weekdays. The site is published in English, French, Japanese, Turkish and Hindi, and the registered address is P.B. 1257 Bonovo Road, Fomboni, Comoros. Bullfxo links to no social media account anywhere on its site.

The Client Agreement says client money is placed in segregated accounts with a credit institution or bank, and it guarantees negative balance protection so a client cannot lose more than the balance. The same document disclaims any liability if that financial institution fails, permits the money to sit in an omnibus account, and leaves the client with only an unsecured claim in an insolvency. There is no compensation scheme, because the Comoros does not operate one.

Bullfxo states it does not accept residents of the United States, Canada, Israel, Australia, Iran, North Korea, Myanmar, Russia, British Columbia or any country in the European Economic Area. Worth knowing before you apply: the registration form draws on a complete list of every country in the world with no restriction applied, so those published limits are not enforced at signup and a residency problem may only surface later, after money has been deposited.

The site advertises more than 300 instruments as contracts for difference, covering currency pairs, shares, commodities, indices and cryptocurrencies. The Client Agreement also lists metals, forwards, futures and exchange traded funds among the underlying assets. The broker does not publish a count for each asset class, so the only figure it stands behind is the 300 plus total.

Only its own. Bullfxo runs a proprietary browser-based WebTrader for desktop and mobile, with a light and dark theme. MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader are not available, which means charts, indicators and automated strategies cannot be moved to or from another broker. Automated trading systems are prohibited unless the broker gives written consent first.

There is no minimum for cards, Skrill or Neteller. Bank wires have a minimum of 120 USD, 100 EUR, 80 GBP, 100 CHF or 7,000 RUB. The maximum is the available balance, excluding money tied up in open positions, and where positions are open the Client Agreement caps a withdrawal at 80 percent of the balance.

The broker aims to process requests within 24 business hours, after which funds typically take up to five business days depending on the payment provider. Card withdrawals cost 3.5 percent, bank wires cost a flat 30 USD, EUR, GBP or CHF, and wallet withdrawals carry 1.5 to 4.5 percent that the broker attributes to the client's own provider. Separately, the broker reserves the right to charge 80 EUR where there has been little or no trading before the request, where verification documents are outstanding, or for any other reason it considers necessary.

Debit and credit cards, bank wire and electronic wallets including Skrill and Neteller are accepted. Cash and cryptocurrency are refused under the AML Policy, and the broker does not accept third party or anonymous payments. Deposits are free. Withdrawals must return to the method the money came from, and where several methods were used the funds are allocated proportionally.

Yes, and it is unusually aggressive. The published schedule charges nothing in the first month, then 150 EUR a month from one to two months without a deposit, withdrawal or trade, 200 EUR a month from two to six months, and 625 EUR a month from six to twelve. After twelve months the account is classed as dormant and the fee becomes 1,000 EUR a month, with a further 2,000 EUR payable to reactivate it. The broker may also strip any active bonus and the profits related to it.

There is no dealing commission; the broker earns from the spread, which is floating and wide. EUR/USD starts at 3.0 pips on the 250 USD Basic account and only narrows to 1.6 pips on the 250,000 USD VIP account, with GBP/USD from 3.4 down to 2.0 pips and USD/JPY from 3.3 down to 1.9 pips. Positions held overnight are charged swap, with a triple charge applied on Wednesdays.

Up to 1:400, and the same cap applies to every account tier and to both retail and professional clients. That is several times what regulators in Europe, the United Kingdom and Australia permit retail clients, and at 1:400 a market move of about a quarter of one percent against a fully margined position removes the margin behind it.

250 USD opens the entry-level Basic account. The higher tiers require far more: 25,000 USD for Gold, 100,000 USD for Platinum and 250,000 USD for VIP. The broker states that minimum deposits may change without prior notice.

We found no confirmed evidence of fraud, but we also found nothing that establishes the firm is safe, so we rate it high risk and unverified rather than clean. The concerns are concrete: an offshore licence that cannot be checked, a public warning from Japan's financial regulator naming the operator as an unregistered firm soliciting derivatives business, and a fee schedule that charges an idle account 150 EUR in its second month and 1,000 EUR a month after a year.

Bullfxo is operated by Bullfxo Ltd, an international business company formed in the Comoros on 12 March 2024, registered at P.B. 1257 Bonovo Road, Fomboni. The same entity is named in the site footer, the Client Agreement and the AML Policy, and it appears on the GLEIF Legal Entity Identifier register under LEI 2138001KTKXCV6Y8WK92. Its direct and ultimate ownership are reported as non public on that record, so no parent company, shareholder or director is disclosed anywhere.

Not in any way a client can verify. Bullfxo Ltd states on its own site and in its Client Agreement that it holds licence BFX2024046 from the Mwali International Services Authority in the Comoros, but that authority operates no public licence search and our research found no independent record confirming the licence exists or is in force. The claim is therefore recorded as claimed and unconfirmed. No regulator in Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia or the United States supervises this firm.

Licence BFX2024046 was issued by Moroni International Services Authority (MISA), the financial authority for Comoros.
Bullfxo holds this MISA licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
No. This licence is no longer in force, or the MISA register did not carry it when we looked. It is kept on record because a closed registration is part of a firm’s history.
Wikilix rates MISA tier 4, the lowest band. A registration here says little on its own about client protection.
Yes, MISA is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
This page links straight to the MISA register. Search it for BFX2024046, and for the name Bullfxo rather than the trading brand.
