Summary of the broker
Capman Broker Overview
Capman is the trading brand of Capman Holding AD, a Bulgarian non-bank financial group based at 8 Tri Ushi Street, floor 6, Sofia 1301. The service a client actually deals with is provided by Capman AD, an investment intermediary established in Sofia in late 1996 and a member of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange since 1997. Capman is a securities intermediary rather than a retail foreign exchange or CFD broker: its business is order execution, portfolio management and investment banking on the Bulgarian and international capital markets, and it does not publish leveraged retail trading accounts.
Capman Regulation and License
Capman AD states on its own pages that it holds a full investment intermediary licence issued by the Financial Supervision Commission, authorising it to operate in the European Union and in third countries, and a separate authorisation from the Bulgarian National Bank to make payments in foreign currency. The company does not publish a licence number, an issue date or a link to the authority's entry, so the claim is recorded as claimed and unconfirmed rather than confirmed. Capman AD is also registered in the Bulgarian commercial register under UIC 121273188, and its registered scope of business there is the regulated list of investment services, including the organisation of a multilateral trading facility.
Is Capman Regulated?
Capman states that it is, and this research did not confirm that statement against the supervisory authority's own register. What was confirmed is corporate rather than regulatory: the operating entity exists, is active, and carries a registered scope of business in the national commercial register that only a licensed intermediary may pursue. A company registration is not a financial licence and does not stand in for one.
Capman AD
Two separate companies sit behind the brand and it is worth keeping them apart. Capman Holding AD, UIC 202987090, registered on 21 March 2014, is the holding company that publishes the capman.bg site. Capman AD, UIC 121273188, opened in company case 15165 of 1996, is the licensed intermediary that takes orders and holds the exchange and depository memberships. Both are registered at the same Sofia address.
Is Capman Safe?
Capman presents an unusually open corporate picture for a firm carrying a low external rating: a named board, direct telephone numbers and email addresses for individual officers, three physical offices and a thirty year record on a national exchange, all of which line up with the public register. The material caution is that the licence itself was not verified against the supervisory authority's register in this research, and that the commercial terms a client would want before committing money are largely unpublished.
Capman Trading Platforms
Capman offers CTrader, a browser based order entry platform the company developed itself for trading on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and, it says, for reaching international capital markets. This is a proprietary system and is unrelated to the third-party platform of a similar name. The exchange's own COBOS terminal is described in the company's help pages as the alternative. No MetaTrader installation is offered.
Capman Spreads, Commissions and Fees
Capman publishes a tariff for fees and commissions and a small number of fixed administrative charges in its help pages, including 12 BGN for a depository receipt, 14.40 BGN for a change of name or personal identifier and 60 BGN for a securities transfer by agreement, plus transfer expenses. Its brokerage commission rates, custody charges and any minimum account size are not published in English on the site.
Capman Support
Support runs through named staff rather than a ticket queue. The head office in Sofia answers on +359 2 40 30 200 and mail@capman.bg, with branch offices in Varna and Stara Zagora and direct extensions published for the board, the back office, internal control and accounting. There is no live chat.
Capman Pros and Cons
- A long operating record on a national exchange, with the operating entity active in the public register since 1996.
- An unusually transparent corporate footprint: named directors, direct contacts and three real offices, all matching the register.
- Clients of a Bulgarian investment intermediary fall within the national investor compensation fund, which the company's help pages describe as covering 90 percent of a claim up to 40,000 leva.
- The licence claim carries no number and was not confirmed against the supervisory authority's own register.
- Almost no commercial terms are published: no account tiers, no minimum deposit, no commission schedule in English, no funding methods.
- This is not a leveraged retail forex or CFD offering, so anyone arriving expecting one is in the wrong place.
Capman Review and Assessment
Capman reads as a small, long established domestic securities house rather than an online trading brand, and it should be judged on that basis. The corporate side stands up to checking; the regulatory claim and the commercial terms do not, because the company publishes too little of either. Anyone considering an account should ask Capman directly for its licence number and its full tariff, and confirm the licence with the Financial Supervision Commission before transferring money.

Country availability
Where Capman says it will and won't take clients
No country restrictions on record. We looked and found nothing published — which is not the same as being open to everyone. Check Capman's terms.
How we know
- 1Terms and conditions (https://capman.bg/en/terms-and-conditions/) reached; the page carries data-protection content and no eligibility or restricted-jurisdiction clause.
- 2General terms and conditions of the investment intermediary (https://capman.bg/investment-intermediary/en/general-terms-and-conditions-en/) reached; it is a document repository and the English page states no restricted jurisdictions.
- 3No dedicated countries page is published; /restricted-countries and /accepted-countries are not served, and the help pages at https://capman.bg/investment-intermediary/en/faq-en/ cover depository receipts, transfers and the investor compensation fund rather than eligibility.
- 4No online registration or open-live-account form is published anywhere on the site, so there is no onboarding country selector to read.
- 5The published fee tariff and the deposits and services pages (https://capman.bg/investment-intermediary/en/products-and-services-en/) name no jurisdiction that is refused.
- 6The site footer carries no risk disclaimer naming excluded jurisdictions; the site is published in Bulgarian and English only.
- 7No list of blocked or accepted jurisdictions was found on any page reached, so all four lists are recorded empty. Absence of a published restriction is not evidence that any country is accepted.
Recorded by WIKILIX research, not published by the broker, and not a guarantee. A country listed nowhere above is not thereby accepted — check Capman's own terms before you open an account.
