Capta Trade

Capta Trade (CaptaTrade) is an Arabic-language trading brand operating at captatrade.com, aimed almost entirely at retail clients in Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf. It offers CFD-style trading in currencies, gold and oil, metals, shares and cryptocurrencies through its own in-house web and mobile platform rather than MetaTrader, and adds copy trading, funded-account challenges and an educational academy alongside it.

Regulation is the central problem with this brand. The site does not name an operating legal company anywhere - not in the footer, not in the About page, not in the Terms and Conditions - and publishes no registered office address. What it does publish is a Saint Lucia commercial registration, number 00074-2025, issued under the International Business Companies Act, which it presents as authorisation to broker contracts for difference. A company registration under an IBC act is corporate existence, not financial supervision: it involves no capital requirement, no client-money segregation, no conduct rules and no compensation scheme. The English footer goes further and states the brand is "regulated by the Saint Lucia Securities and Commodities Commission (ECCB)" under that same number, while the Arabic help centre attributes supervision to a Saint Lucia "FSRA". Those two supervisory bodies are described inconsistently, rest on the same registration number, and WIKILIX found no forex or CFD licence for this brand from any financial regulator. A search of the official Saint Lucia Registry of Companies and Intellectual Property for "Capta Trade" returned no record, and a broader search for "Capta" returned only unrelated companies.

What it offers. Two live accounts are published: Standard, from a 100 USD minimum deposit with spreads from 1.6 pips and no commission, and Professional, from 1000 USD with spreads from 0.0 pips. Minimum trade size is 0.01 lots on both. Maximum leverage is not disclosed. Deposits and withdrawals are advertised through Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Mada, Binance Pay, Tether and bank transfer, with withdrawal requests reviewed within 24 to 48 hours on business days. Support is offered in Arabic and English via live chat, ticket and email, advertised as available around the clock, with a UAE telephone number.

Who it suits, and the caveats. Clients depositing here have no regulator to complain to and no protected-funds arrangement, because no supervisory licence has been established. Marketing claims add to the concern: the brand states more than 4,300,000 traders have used it, while the site itself only dates from 2025, and the minimum deposit is quoted as 50 USD in one place on the English site and 100 USD in the account table. Anyone considering it should treat funds sent as fully at risk, and should compare the offer against brokers licensed by an onshore authority that publishes a searchable public register.
