Century's legal page lists nine documents and says you have agreed to be bound by them. Every link returns the same page, with none of the document text on it. You cannot read what you agreed to.
Why this matters
You accept these terms by using the site, before you can read one clause of them. What Century may charge you is not stated. Nor is which court hears a dispute.
Exhibit 1Every flagged clause gets its own number so you can point at this one. The number does not change, so a link to it keeps working.CriticalHow much this clause can cost you, in our reading. Critical can take your money or your profit. Warning can delay or limit it. Notice is simply worth knowing before you sign.Harder than usualHow ordinary this wording looks next to the contracts we read. This is our reading of the clause, not a count of other brokers.9The figure this clause puts a number on, taken from the broker's own words.
By accessing and using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these legal documents.
Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must give a retail client the contract terms on a durable medium before that client is bound. Century's page states you are bound by nine documents whose text it does not show.
Century Financial is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.
- Worse together with Exhibit 2Read these two clauses together. Each one costs more because the other exists. One of the nine documents you are deemed to have accepted is the Schedule of Charges, so you agree to costs you cannot see.
