Who they are
A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.
- Brand: CMS Prime. It calls itself a brand of the CMS group.
- Legal entity: under the Terms and Conditions, client accounts are held by CMS Prime SLC Inc. (Saint Lucia, no. 2023-00661). The other group companies are CMS Prime Ltd (Mauritius, company C169819, formerly CMS Securities Ltd), CMS Prime SVG LLC (3060 LLC 2023) and CMS Prime Inc. (Belize, formerly Capital Market Solutions Inc.).
- Registered: the contracting company is registered in Saint Lucia. The business runs from a representative office at International Business Tower, Business Bay, Dubai.
- Website: cmsprime.com, plus the client portal mycms.cmsprime.com and webtrader.cmsprime.com. The group also runs cms4x.com.
- Only licence: FSC Mauritius Investment Dealer licence GB19024331. CMS Prime Ltd has held it since 7 January 2020. The company that holds client accounts does not hold it.
- Offers: forex and CFDs on MT4, MT5 and its own apps. Leverage goes up to 1:500 and the minimum deposit starts at $0. It also sells prop-trading challenges, funded accounts, PAMM and copy trading.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
CMS Prime scores 70 out of 100 for scam risk. A regulator's listing of its website sets that minimum, and the company's own documents contradict the protection it advertises. The weighted scorecard on its own comes to 56.
- Listed as unauthorised in Oman. Oman's Financial Services Authority names CMS Prime, linked to cmsprime.com, on its list of unauthorised companies doing securities business in Oman. IOSCO relayed the entry on 8 October 2025 as an unregistered or unlicensed entity offering financial products or services. A second name on the same list, PSFX Pro, also links to cmsprime.com.
- The licence does not cover your account. The FSC Mauritius register lists CMS Prime Ltd as an Investment Dealer from 7 January 2020. But CMS Prime's Terms and Conditions say your account is with CMS Prime SLC Inc., Saint Lucia only, with no connection to the other group companies. That company is a registered business, and we could not find any financial licence for it.
- Promises the terms do not keep. The licences page says deposits are kept in segregated accounts under strict regulatory supervision. The Terms of Business say client funds may be used to clear trades with other counterparties. The client agreement also bars legal claims brought more than three months after the event.
- A record of overstating regulation. In July 2019 the site called itself a licensed and regulated broker based on a Saint Vincent company number, 24495 IBC 2018. Saint Vincent's regulator does not license forex brokers. Today the site correctly calls that kind of number a registration.
- An unproven founding date. No record we found supports 'Trusted Since 2004'. The group's earliest traceable forex website, cms4x.com, was registered in September 2006.
- Why the score is not higher. The licence is real and belongs to the group, and the business has operated for many years. The withdrawal complaints we found are scattered and mostly unverifiable, and none describes a demand for extra fees before funds are released.

An SVG IBC number is a company registration, and the SVG FSA does not license forex brokers.
E14cmsprime.com was registered on 30 October 2016. Archived copies show a GoDaddy parking page in January 2016, a NameBright coming-soon page in February 2017, and the CMS Prime broker site from July 2018. The site claims 'Trusted Since 2004' and over 22 years of experience.
E15cms4x.com was registered on 2 September 2006. In June 2008 it showed a Capital Market Solutions forex market-maker site with MT4 downloads, and in 2010 and 2011 a notice about Capital Market Solution LLC. Today it shows a CMS Prime landing page signed by CMS PRIME SVG LLC, and its registry expiry and update timestamps are identical to those of cmsprime.com.
E16cmsinvest.com was registered on 22 September 2009. It has the same registrar, name servers and renewal timestamps as cmsprime.com, which points to the same owner.
E17Trustpilot's page for cmsprime.com shows 25 reviews averaging 4.7: 88% five-star, 12% four-star, none lower. Reviews arrive in bursts: six on 22 September 2022, six on 7 to 8 August 2024 and four on 15 to 16 October 2026. Most come from single-review accounts, and the company answered all of them in October 2026.
ModerateTrustpilot, cmsprime.comE18The Forexbrokerz review page for cmsprime.com has 17 hostile comments posted from March 2021 to March 2022. They allege slippage, B-book dealing, deleted trades, unpaid introducing-broker commissions and, in a few cases, unpaid withdrawals. None gives amounts, dates or ticket numbers, several come from self-described introducing brokers, and three were posted within three days.
E19On Google Play, a 12 May 2026 review says a UPI deposit had not reached the account after three days, an August 2024 review says only 'Scammer', and a May 2024 review is positive. UPI is an Indian payment system.
E20Complaints collected by a third-party broker directory describe a $162 withdrawal blocked over alleged rule breaches after a $354 withdrawal had been paid, a profit withdrawal refused because only capital could be withdrawn, a prop-challenge payment not credited, and swap charged on an Islamic account. None of these reports can be verified independently.
WeakA third-party broker directoryE21A third-party broker directory reports an on-site visit that confirmed an operating CMS Prime office in the United Arab Emirates. That fits the International Business Tower address in the group's LEI records and on cmsprime.com.
WeakA third-party broker directoryE22cmsprime.com links its MT4 and MT5 desktop installers (cmsprime4setup.exe and cmsprime5setup.exe) to MetaQuotes download servers under the name cms.prime.ltd. Branded installer paths of this kind belong to MetaTrader platform licensees.

E24A copy of the Reserve Bank of India's Alert List of unauthorised forex trading platforms, as updated on 19 November 2025 with 95 entities, does not include CMS Prime, cmsprime.com or PSFX Pro.
E25Alongside its brokerage accounts, CMS Prime sells a prop-trading challenge that leads to funded accounts with profit sharing. Some payout disputes may therefore concern challenge rules rather than client deposits.
E26CMS Financial LLC, at 1403 International Business Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, publishes UAE Capital Market Authority licence numbers 20200000144 and 20200000223. CMS Prime's client agreement does not name that company.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
There is a real case that CMS Prime is an established offshore broker, not a pure scam operation.
- The licence is genuine and its own. The FSC Mauritius register lists CMS Prime Ltd as an Investment Dealer. The CMS Prime app on Google Play is published by CMS PRIME LTD from the same Ebene address, with a cmsprime.com support email.
- Long continuity. The group's cms4x.com site showed a Capital Market Solutions trading business in 2008. cmsprime.com has carried the CMS Prime brand since at least July 2018, and its Dubai phone number has not changed since 2020.
- Real infrastructure and premises. Its MT4 and MT5 installers are served from MetaQuotes download servers under the name cms.prime.ltd. A third-party broker directory also reports an on-site visit that found an operating office in Dubai.
- A regulated sister company. CMS Financial LLC, at the same Dubai address, publishes UAE Capital Market Authority licence numbers. Those licences belong to that company and are not part of the CMS Prime client agreement.
- The warning concerns permission, not theft. Oman's listing records that CMS Prime is not authorised in Oman. IOSCO's alert database shows no other regulator listing for the brand. CMS Prime is also absent from India's RBI alert list as updated on 19 November 2025.
- Some clients are satisfied. Trustpilot shows 25 reviews averaging 4.7, several of them mentioning quick withdrawals. Many were posted in same-day bursts from single-review accounts.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
Several specific changes would move this rating.
- Lower: client agreements moved to the FSC-licensed CMS Prime Ltd, or the company that holds client accounts appearing on a financial regulator's register.
- Lower: Oman's FSA removing CMS Prime from its unauthorised list, or CMS Prime obtaining Omani authorisation.
- Lower: marketing that matches the client terms, and documentary proof of the claimed 2004 founding.
- Higher: another regulator warning naming cmsprime.com, or enforcement action against any group company.
- Higher: a cluster of specific, verifiable withdrawal refusals, or any demand for a fee before funds are released.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is CMS Prime a scam?
We rate CMS Prime 70 out of 100 for scam risk, the bottom of our likely-scam band. Oman's Financial Services Authority lists cmsprime.com as an unauthorised company, and the site's promises of regulatory protection do not match its own client agreement. CMS Prime is a long-running business with a real licence in its group, so the rating reflects serious warning signs rather than proof that clients' money has been taken.
Is CMS Prime a fraud?
We found no regulator action, enforcement case or court record alleging fraud against CMS Prime or its group companies. The concerns are different. Oman lists it as unauthorised, client accounts sit with an unlicensed Saint Lucia company, and its marketing overstates the regulatory protection clients get.
Is CMS Prime regulated?
Only partly, and not where it matters most. Group company CMS Prime Ltd has held an Investment Dealer licence from the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius since 7 January 2020. The Terms and Conditions, however, place client accounts with CMS Prime SLC Inc. in Saint Lucia, which is only a registered company.
Which company holds my account and my money at CMS Prime?
CMS Prime's Terms and Conditions and Terms of Business say your account is with CMS Prime SLC Inc., Saint Lucia, with no connection to the other group companies. Disputes fall under Saint Lucia law. Get written confirmation of the contracting company before you deposit.
What is the FSC Mauritius licence GB19024331 worth?
The FSC is a real but mid-tier offshore regulator, and Mauritius has no compensation scheme comparable to the UK's FSCS. The licence belongs to CMS Prime Ltd, so it covers only clients who contract with that company. Under the current published terms, clients sign with the Saint Lucia company instead.
Why does Oman's regulator list CMS Prime?
Oman's Financial Services Authority keeps a list of unauthorised companies doing securities business in Oman. CMS Prime appears on it with a link to cmsprime.com, and IOSCO relayed the entry on 8 October 2025. The listing means CMS Prime has no Omani authorisation. It does not say that anyone's money has been taken.
Can I withdraw my money from CMS Prime?
Some clients report smooth withdrawals, mainly in Trustpilot reviews. Others report blocked withdrawals, profits capped at the amount deposited and deposits not credited, but these reports are scattered and mostly lack verifiable detail. The terms let the company delay or reject withdrawals that do not meet its policies, so test with a small amount first.
Is my money safe with CMS Prime?
Not by regulatory standards. The company holding client accounts is an unlicensed Saint Lucia company. The Terms of Business also say client funds may be used to clear trades with other counterparties, which contradicts the site's promise of segregated, supervised accounts.
Who owns CMS Prime and where is it based?
CMS Prime calls itself a brand of the CMS group and works from a representative office in International Business Tower, Business Bay, Dubai. Its companies are CMS Prime SLC Inc. (Saint Lucia), CMS Prime Ltd (Mauritius), CMS Prime SVG LLC (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) and CMS Prime Inc. (Belize, formerly Capital Market Solutions Inc.).
How old is CMS Prime?
The site says 'Trusted Since 2004', but we found no record from 2004. The group's earliest traceable forex website, cms4x.com, was registered in September 2006 and showed a Capital Market Solutions trading site by 2008. The cmsprime.com broker site dates from 2018, and the oldest group company we could date was formed in April 2014.
Is CMS Prime a clone of another broker?
No. The Mauritius licence it cites belongs to its own group company, CMS Prime Ltd. The address on the FSC register matches the developer address of the CMS Prime app on Google Play, which uses a cmsprime.com support email. We found no sign that CMS Prime uses another firm's licence or identity.
What are the Saint Vincent and Saint Lucia certificates on its website?
They are company registrations, not financial licences. 3060 LLC 2023 is the Saint Vincent company number of CMS Prime SVG LLC, and 2023-00661 is the Saint Lucia number of CMS Prime SLC Inc. Neither registration involves any supervision of trading or client money.
What should I do if I cannot withdraw from CMS Prime?
Make your request and complaint in writing, and keep screenshots, statements and payment records. Ask your bank or card issuer about a chargeback and report the case to your local financial regulator. Ignore anyone who offers to recover your funds for an upfront fee.
What should I check before depositing with CMS Prime?
Get written confirmation of which company will hold your account, check the FSC Mauritius register entry yourself, and see whether your own regulator authorises the firm. Read the withdrawal clause and the three-month limit on legal claims. Start with a small deposit and a test withdrawal.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
If you are considering CMS Prime, treat it as a high-risk offshore broker and check these points before you deposit.
- Ask in writing which company will hold your account. The current terms name CMS Prime SLC Inc. in Saint Lucia, which the Mauritius licence does not cover.
- Search 'CMS Prime' on the FSC Mauritius register yourself. The licence holder shown there is CMS Prime Ltd.
- Check with your own country's regulator. Oman's FSA already lists cmsprime.com as unauthorised.
- Before signing, read the withdrawal clause and the three-month limit on legal claims.
- Start with a small deposit and make a test withdrawal before you add more money.
- If a withdrawal is refused, keep every record and contact your bank or card issuer about a chargeback. Report the case to your regulator, and ignore anyone offering to recover funds for a fee.
