Regulation
10/10 · CriticalA live FCA record names the website as an unauthorised firm, and the only licence advertised is past its printed end date of 20 April 2025 and absent from the Anjouan register.
Identity & transparency
8/10 · CriticalA real entity and a Bengaluru office are disclosed, but the brand presented itself from two well-known London accommodation addresses, its UK company is dissolved and the Comoros registration number 15695 does not appear on the register that would evidence it.
Withdrawals & conduct
3/10 · LowNo pattern found: one isolated loss report that is really a recovery-service advertisement, against a five-star account describing two years of working deposits and withdrawals.
Reputation
7/10 · HighA regulator warning plus Trustpilot's own regulatory-attention flag and uniformly negative third-party coverage, but only two customer reviews in four years and no substantiated complaint pattern to justify the top of the scale.
Website claims
9/10 · CriticalThe site still states it is regulated under licence L15695/CC on a page that prints an expiry date in the past, offers only a picture of a certificate instead of a verification link, and bills itself as an award-winning world-best provider with no award evidenced.
Operational history
4/10 · ModerateAbout four and a half years verified from the domain registration of 1 February 2022 and the company incorporation of 14 February 2022, with no exaggerated age claim, though the corporate vehicle has since been dissolved and the brand abandoned for a new one.
Who they are
A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.
- Brand: ConneXar Capital (also written Connexar Capital), an MetaTrader 5 forex and CFD brand.
- Legal entity: Connexar Capital Ltd, said by the site to hold Comoros registration number 15695. A UK company of almost the same name, CONNEXARCAPITAL LTD (13914199), was incorporated on 14 February 2022 and dissolved on 15 April 2025.
- Registered: Hamchako, Mutsamudu, the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros. The working office given on the contact page is 4th Floor, Aishwarya Complex, Sarjapur Main Road, Bellandur Gate, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560103, India, with an Indian mobile number.
- Website: connexarcapital.com. The home page no longer loads and has been returning a not-found page since at least February 2026, while the inner pages stay online.
- Only licence: an Anjouan (Comoros) International Brokerage and Clearing House licence, number L15695/CC, which the site's own page says ran to 20 April 2025.
- Offers: MT5 trading on forex, metals, indices, shares and crypto CFDs, leverage up to 1:400, a 50 percent welcome bonus, a withdrawal bonus, swap refunds, PAMM, MAM and copy trading, and an introducing-broker scheme. Funding by card, Neteller and Skrill, bank wire, local transfer, escrow and USDT.
- Not accepted: residents of the United States, Canada, Japan, Brazil, Mauritius, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Cuba, North Korea, Haiti, Suriname, Puerto Rico, Quebec and the occupied area of Cyprus.
- Age claim: the site makes no founding-year claim. The domain was registered on 1 February 2022 and the UK company two weeks later, so the brand is about four and a half years old.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
Three things decide this, and all three come from primary records rather than opinion.
- A regulator has named this exact website. The FCA's Financial Services Register carries a record for Connexar Capital stating that it is an unauthorised firm that may be providing financial services or products in the UK without permission. The record lists www.connexarcapital.com, the addresses support@, info@ and singapore@connexarcapital.com, the phone number 07418355721, and the London addresses 160 City Road EC1V 2NX and 20-22 Wenlock Road N1 7GU. It was added on 4 December 2023 and is still published. Italy's CONSOB repeated the same report in a notice dated 6 December 2023, naming Connexar Capital and the website.
- The licence it advertises cannot be found and has lapsed by its own account. The site states that Connexar Capital Ltd is regulated under the International Brokerage and Clearing House licence, Comoros, number L15695/CC, company number 15695. The same page lists the licence as valid until 20 April 2025. The Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority publishes its register of international business companies and licences as a full browsable list of about 430 entries, and no Connexar entry appears on it. So the one piece of regulation the broker offers is both expired on its own figures and absent from the authority it names. There is no verification link anywhere on the site. What is presented as a licence document is a picture stored on the broker's own server.
- The corporate trail runs out, and the brand has quietly moved. CONNEXARCAPITAL LTD, company number 13914199 at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, was dissolved on 15 April 2025. The pages that remain online still carry open-account buttons, but those buttons now lead to myclient.onexar.com, the client portal of a different brand. Onexar's domain was registered on 3 February 2025, its entity ONEXAR LTD was incorporated in Anjouan on 6 March 2025 at the same Hamchako, Mutsamudu address, and its site publishes the very phone number the FCA recorded against Connexar Capital. In other words, the operation carried on under a new name while the warned name was left standing.
Set against that, we did not find what would make this a confirmed theft of client money. The complaint footprint is thin and shows no pattern: two Trustpilot reviews in four years, one of them a five-star account from May 2024 describing two years of working deposits and withdrawals, the other a one-star post that is really an advertisement for a fund-recovery service and carries no checkable detail. The MetaTrader 5 installer is served from MetaQuotes' own distribution network under the server name ConnexarCapital-Server, which tells us a real trading operation sat behind the brand. That is why we stop at likely rather than confirmed, and we assess the risk of fraud as high rather than stating it as fact.

Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The FCA's Financial Services Register carries a record for Connexar Capital stating it is an unauthorised firm that may be providing financial services or products in the UK without permission. It lists the website www.connexarcapital.com, the addresses support@, info@ and singapore@connexarcapital.com, the phone 07418355721, and the London addresses 160 City Road EC1V 2NX and 20-22 Wenlock Road N1 7GU. Added 4 December 2023.
E2The Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority publishes its register of international business companies and licences as a single browsable list of roughly 430 entries. No Connexar Capital entry appears on it, so the licence the broker advertises cannot be confirmed with the authority that is supposed to have issued it.
E3The broker's own page states that Connexar Capital Ltd is regulated under the International Brokerage and Clearing House licence, Comoros, licence number L15695/CC, company number 15695, and on the same page gives the licence details as valid until 20 April 2025. The licence document offered is an image file on the broker's own server, with no link to any register.
E4UK Companies House records CONNEXARCAPITAL LTD, company number 13914199, incorporated on 14 February 2022 at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX under the activity administration of financial markets, and dissolved on 15 April 2025, while the brand's pages remained online carrying open-account buttons.
StrongUK Companies HouseE5Onexar publishes the UK telephone number +44 7418 355721, the same number the FCA recorded against Connexar Capital, alongside an identical product set of PAMM, MAM, copy trading, a 50 percent welcome bonus, a withdrawal bonus and swap refunds, and the same client portal at myclient.onexar.com that the Connexar site now sends users to.
StrongOnexar websiteE6The Connexar Capital contact page gives the registered address as Hamchako, Mutsamudu, the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, registration number 15695, and the physical address as 4th Floor, Aishwarya Complex, Sarjapur Main Road, Bellandur Gate, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560103, India, with an Indian mobile number. The business is run from India, not from the London addresses the brand used.
E7The company's own Trustpilot profile, claimed in October 2023, lists its contact address as 20-22 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU with the UK mobile +44 7418355721, and Trustpilot displays the notice that this company has received regulatory attention. The page carries 2 reviews averaging 3.2, split one five-star and one one-star, with none in the last twelve months.
ModerateTrustpilot, connexarcapital.comE8CONSOB, the Italian securities regulator, published a communication dated 6 December 2023 listing Connexar Capital (www.connexarcapital.com) among entities reported as offering unauthorised investment services. It relays the UK report rather than being an independent finding.
E9The Anjouan register does carry a current entry for ONEXAR LTD, company number 15988, licence L15988/OL, incorporated 6 March 2025 with a licence end date of 6 March 2027 and status active. This is the successor brand's licence, issued to a different company, and it says nothing about the licence Connexar Capital advertises.
E10The home page of connexarcapital.com returns a not-found page, and an archived copy from 17 February 2026 shows the same not-found page, while inner pages such as the FAQ and contact page continue to serve content and funnel visitors to the successor brand's portal.
E11The broker distributed a genuine MetaTrader 5 white label, with the installer served from MetaQuotes' own distribution network and a dedicated trading server named ConnexarCapital-Server, and lists card, Neteller, Skrill, bank wire, local transfer and USDT funding rather than crypto only. A real trading operation sat behind the brand.
E12Across the review platforms checked there is no pattern of fund-access complaints. The only substantive customer account, posted in May 2024, reports two years of deposits and withdrawals with decent support, and the single negative post is an advertisement for a fund-recovery service rather than a checkable complaint.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The case for the broker, stated as fairly as we can put it.
- It is not a clone. Connexar Capital does not borrow another firm's licence number, company name or address. The FCA record describes an unauthorised firm, not a clone of an authorised one, and no register anywhere shows another company that owns the identifiers this broker uses.
- A real trading operation existed. The MT5 terminal was a genuine MetaQuotes white label distributed from MetaQuotes' own servers, with its own named trading server. Funding options include cards, Neteller, Skrill and bank transfer, not only crypto. That is not the profile of a pure fake platform.
- Nobody has documented a withdrawal freeze. Across the review platforms we checked there is no cluster of fund-access complaints, no dates, amounts or ticket numbers, and the only long-form customer account we found reports that deposits and withdrawals worked over two years. The loud scam write-ups that fill search results are templated affiliate pages, several of which exist to sell recovery services, and we gave them no weight.
- The company is disclosed, not hidden. The contact page names a registered address, a registration number and a staffed office in Bengaluru with a phone number, and the UK company was properly filed at Companies House. Ownership is not concealed behind nominees.
- The successor does hold a current licence. ONEXAR LTD appears on the Anjouan register with licence L15988/OL running to 6 March 2027. Offshore licensing is a risk tier, not proof of fraud, and hundreds of real brokers operate on nothing better.
None of this cures the central problem. A firm that a national regulator has named, whose advertised licence has run out and cannot be found on the register it cites, and whose contracting company has been dissolved, is offering a customer no way to get money back if it decides not to pay.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
Concrete things that would move this verdict, in either direction.
- The Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority publishing a current entry for Connexar Capital Ltd, company number 15695, with a licence end date in the future. That would turn the central finding from an unverifiable claim into a weak but real offshore licence and would pull the regulation score down.
- The FCA removing the unauthorised-firm record for Connexar Capital, or confirming it relates to a different operation. That single record carries most of the weight here.
- A live, incorporated contracting entity replacing the dissolved CONNEXARCAPITAL LTD, named on the site with a registry number anyone can look up.
- Evidence running the other way would harden the verdict: three or more detailed, independent reports of withdrawals refused or balances removed, with dates and amounts, on separate platforms, or any demand for a tax, fee or insurance payment before funds are released. Either of those would take this to a confirmed scam.
- A regulator in a country where the brand sells, or a court, finding fraud against the entity would settle it outright.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is Connexar Capital a scam?
We rate it a likely scam and high risk. The UK's Financial Conduct Authority lists connexarcapital.com as an unauthorised firm, and the Comoros licence the site advertises expired on 20 April 2025 by the site's own account and is not on the issuing authority's register. We did not find a documented pattern of stolen funds, which is why we say likely rather than confirmed.
Is Connexar Capital a fraud?
No court or regulator has made a finding of fraud against Connexar Capital, so we do not state that as fact. What is on the record is that the FCA named the firm as unauthorised on 4 December 2023 and that the regulation the site advertises cannot be verified. On that basis we assess the risk of fraud as high and would not place money with it.
Is Connexar Capital regulated?
No, not in any meaningful sense. It advertises a Comoros International Brokerage and Clearing House licence numbered L15695/CC, but the same page gives an end date of 20 April 2025, and the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority's published register of licensed companies does not list the firm. It holds no licence from the FCA, ASIC, CySEC or any comparable regulator.
What does the FCA say about Connexar Capital?
The FCA's Financial Services Register carries a record added on 4 December 2023 stating that Connexar Capital is an unauthorised firm that may be providing financial services or products in the UK without permission. It names the website www.connexarcapital.com, three company e-mail addresses, a UK mobile number and two London addresses. The record also notes that the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme cannot help clients of this firm.
Can I withdraw my money from Connexar Capital?
We found no pattern of refused withdrawals, and one customer review from May 2024 reports two years of successful deposits and withdrawals. But there is no regulator to appeal to if payment stops, so request your balance in writing now, keep every reference number, and remember that withdrawals must return to the account you deposited from.
Is my money safe with Connexar Capital?
No. There is no evidence of segregated client accounts, no compensation scheme and no ombudsman. An Anjouan offshore registration gives a client none of the protections that come with a licence from a mainstream regulator, and in this case even that registration could not be confirmed.
Who owns Connexar Capital and where is it based?
The site names Connexar Capital Ltd, registered at Hamchako, Mutsamudu on the Autonomous Island of Anjouan in the Union of Comoros under registration number 15695. The working office listed on the contact page is in Bengaluru, India, with an Indian mobile number. A UK company of nearly the same name, CONNEXARCAPITAL LTD (13914199), was dissolved on 15 April 2025.
How old is Connexar Capital?
About four and a half years. The domain connexarcapital.com was registered on 1 February 2022 and the UK company was incorporated on 14 February 2022. The site makes no claim to be older than that, so there is no age misrepresentation here.
What is an Anjouan or Comoros broker licence worth?
Very little. Anjouan in the Union of Comoros sells offshore licences cheaply with minimal supervision, there is no capital protection, no client-money rule you can enforce and no compensation fund. Even measured against that low bar, the licence this broker advertises has passed its end date and does not appear on the authority's register.
Is Connexar Capital a clone of another broker?
No. It does not copy another firm's licence number, registered name or address. The FCA record describes an unauthorised firm in its own right rather than a clone of an authorised one.
What is Onexar and how is it connected?
Onexar is the same operation under a newer name. The login and open-account buttons on connexarcapital.com now open myclient.onexar.com, the Onexar domain was registered on 3 February 2025, the entity ONEXAR LTD was incorporated in Anjouan on 6 March 2025 at the same registered address, and onexar.com publishes the same UK phone number the FCA recorded against Connexar Capital. A change of name does not clear the earlier record.
Why does the Connexar Capital website not open?
The home page of connexarcapital.com returns a not-found page and has done so since at least February 2026, while the inner pages such as the FAQ and contact page are still online. Those surviving pages now funnel visitors to the Onexar client portal.
What should I do if I was scammed by Connexar Capital?
Gather your deposit receipts, statements and chat logs, then contact your bank or card issuer about a chargeback straight away because the time limits run from the payment date. Report the firm to your national financial regulator, and to the FCA if you are in the UK since it already lists the firm. Do not pay anyone who promises to recover your money for an upfront fee.
What should I check before depositing with any broker?
Look up the licence number yourself on the regulator's own register, not on the broker's website, and confirm the register entry shows the same company name and the same website. Check that the licence has not expired, check the contracting company at its corporate registry, and check whether the firm appears on any regulator warning list. Connexar Capital fails every one of those tests.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat Connexar Capital as a broker to avoid, and act quickly if you already have money there.
- Do not deposit. There is no regulator standing behind this brand. No ombudsman will hear a complaint and no compensation scheme will pay out.
- If you hold a balance, ask for it back now, in writing, and keep every ticket number, e-mail and payment reference. Withdrawals must go back to the source of the deposit, so use the same card or account you funded from.
- If you paid by card, contact your bank about a chargeback immediately. Card schemes impose time limits counted from the payment date, and a long run of delays is what burns them.
- Ignore anyone who contacts you offering to recover your funds for a fee. One of the two reviews on this broker's Trustpilot page is exactly that kind of advertisement. Paying an upfront fee to a recovery service is how a single loss becomes two.
- Report it. UK residents should report the approach to the FCA, which already lists the firm. Report it to your own national regulator and to your bank's fraud team as well.
- Check the successor before you follow it. If you are offered an account with Onexar, note that it is the same operation under a new name and that its licence comes from the same Anjouan authority.
This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears. Review scores are treated with caution when a broker’s reviews look manipulated. Last reviewed October 16, 2026.
