Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
We rate D Prime a likely scam risk for two reasons. A national regulator has named its operating company, and clients on several platforms describe the same problem with their money. D Prime is a real broker with a real offshore licence, which keeps the figure from going higher.
- Regulator warning: In September 2026, Japan's Financial Services Agency listed D Prime Vanuatu Limited for soliciting OTC derivatives trading over the internet without registration. The listing uses the same Port Vila address D Prime publishes. It says the D Prime service is similar to Doo Prime, which the agency warned on 24 July 2024. The site it names, dprimejp.com, uses D Prime's own template, phone number and support email.
- Japan is still in scope: Japan is missing from D Prime's list of refused countries, and the Client Agreement provides for JPY accounts.
- Voided profits: From late 2025 to October 2026, clients in Pakistan, India, Uzbekistan, the UK and other countries reported profits cancelled and accounts terminated when they tried to withdraw. Many cite Clause 6.2(j)(i) or quotation defects as the reason given. Many give account numbers, transaction IDs and amounts. Some say their deposit was refunded; others say part of it was withheld or delayed.
- The contract allows it: Clauses 6.2(j) and 6.3 let D Prime, at its sole discretion and without notice, freeze client money, cancel trades and claw back profits. This includes breaches of internal risk policies that are not published.
- Licence display: The licence page shows Seychelles licence SD090, but the regulator lists its holder as Doo Financial Lite SC Limited. That is a sister company trading as Doo Financial Lite. D Prime's own contract names only its Vanuatu company.
- Mauritius licence gone: Until at least March 2026 the same page listed D Prime Mauritius Limited (licence C119023907). It has since been replaced, and no D Prime company appears on the FSC Mauritius public register at the time of writing. We found no public explanation.
- Reviews: Trustpilot removed fake reviews and withholds the rating. 65% of the 361 reviews are one-star.
- Scoring: The six scorecard dimensions average about 60 out of 100. An official regulator warning that names the operating company lifts the result to 70.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The VFSC Financial Dealers Licensee List shows D PRIME VANUATU LIMITED, company number 700238, licence classes A, B and C, status Active, dated 17 April 2023. This is the company named in D Prime's Client Agreement, so the Vanuatu licence is genuine and covers D Prime accounts.
Hard proofVFSC Financial Dealers Licensee ListE2Japan's FSA list of firms doing financial instruments business without registration names D Prime Vanuatu Limited (September 2026, overseas) for soliciting OTC derivatives transactions over the internet. It notes that the D Prime service name is similar to Doo Prime, warned on 24 July 2024. Doo Prime appears separately under July 2024.
E3IOSCO's copy of the September 2026 Japanese warning gives the firm's address as Govant Building, Po Box 1276, Port Vila, Vanuatu, the address in D Prime's own entity notice. It gives the site as dprimejp.com/jp. This repeats the warning in E2 and is counted once.
E4Japan's FSA warned the Doo Prime service, D Prime's former name, for soliciting OTC derivatives in Japan without registration. IOSCO published the warning on 6 August 2024. The 2026 entry shows the activity continued after the rebrand.
E5dprimejp.com, the site named in the Japanese warning, shows D Prime's template, Sydney phone number, support email and official social links. It was registered on 21 May 2025 through the same registrar and name servers as other D Prime domains. Its Japanese section now shows a D Prime error page.
E6D Prime's list of prohibited jurisdictions covers the UK, US, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, the UAE, Cyprus and others, but not Japan. The Client Agreement also sets fees for JPY accounts.
E7The Client Agreement, updated 25 February 2026, defines the Company as D Prime Vanuatu Limited, licensed by the VFSC under number 700238, and is governed by the laws of Vanuatu. It names no Seychelles or Mauritius company.
E8Clause 6.2(j) lets D Prime decide, at its sole discretion, that a client exploited quotation flaws, liquidity, bonuses or market inactivity, or broke internal risk management policies. Clause 6.3 then lets it, without notice, freeze client money, cancel trades and claw back profits. Complainants cite Clause 6.2(j)(i).
E9D Prime's licence page lists Seychelles FSA licence SD090 and VU FSC 700238. It does not name the licence holders or link to either register, and it speaks of over 10 years of presence.
E10The Seychelles FSA page for Doo Prime Seychelles Limited now shows Doo Financial Lite SC Limited, trade name Doo Financial Lite, type Securities Dealer, website sc.doofinancial.com. The Seychelles licence on D Prime's site belongs to this sister company, not to D Prime's contracting company.
ModerateSeychelles FSA register entryE11The LEI record shows Doo Financial Lite SC Limited (Seychelles 8427202-1) was previously named Doo Prime (Seychelles) Limited and was created on 5 November 2019. SD090 is a group licence rather than another firm's, but it does not cover the Vanuatu company.
E12The sister brand's site states that Doo Financial Lite SC Limited holds Seychelles licence SD090 and that the Doo Group was established in 2014.
E13On 6 March 2026 D Prime's licence page listed D Prime Mauritius Limited (FSC Mauritius, C119023907) and D Prime Vanuatu Limited (VFSC 700238). By November 2026 the Mauritius entry had been replaced by Seychelles licence SD090.
E14A name search for D Prime returns only Land Prime Ltd, Island Prime 54 Limited and Bold Prime Limited, and a search for Doo returns no broker. The FSC's recent surrender and revocation notices do not mention D Prime. The former Mauritius licence is not on the register at the time of writing.
E15361 reviews: 65% one-star, 17% five-star. Trustpilot withholds the rating for a breach of its guidelines and says it removed fake reviews. From June to October 2026, reviewers give account numbers, transaction IDs and amounts for profits voided under Clause 6.2(j)(i), accounts terminated and withdrawals left pending. One says the account was moved to another company, CG FinTech, without consent. D Prime replies publicly. Two near-identical reviews were discounted.
E16Reviews from October 2025 to January 2026 describe the same mechanism: accounts closed and profits voided for price flaw exploitation or spread cap abuse, plus pending withdrawals and missing deposits. Positive reviews appear alongside them, including a withdrawal approved within an hour.
ModerateGlobeGain reviews of Doo PrimeE17A July 2026 report collects complaints from traders in Brazil, Malaysia, Pakistan, Colombia, Bangladesh and the UAE about blocked withdrawals, confiscated profits and restricted accounts. It says D Prime had not responded publicly. The report names the brand only, not the domain, so it is weighted lightly.
E18dooprime.com was registered on 21 December 2017 and first archived in July 2019, and the operating companies were created in November 2019. The Our Story page says D Prime was founded in 2014. That date matches the Doo Group's stated founding, not the brand's own records.
E19LEI record: D PRIME VANUATU LIMITED, previously DOO PRIME VANUATU LIMITED, registered as 700238 in Vanuatu and created 1 November 2019. Legal address Govant Building, Kumul Highway, Port Vila; headquarters Millenia Tower, Singapore; status active. This shows the company exists; it is not a licence.
E20The 2021 Malaysian entry for a potential clone entity, DooPrime Malaysia, names doppremium.com, dooprimes.com and dpplatinium.com, not dooprime.com. It records sites impersonating the brand, not a finding against D Prime.
E21In December 2024 the broker warned clients that capitaldoo.com impersonates its brand. It listed dooprime.com, dooprimenews.com and help.dooprime.com as its official sites.
E22FX News Group reported on 11 August 2025 that Doo Prime, the offshore CFD arm of the Singapore-based Doo Group, had rebranded as D Prime and is domiciled in Mauritius and Vanuatu. It also reports that sister companies Doo Clearing (FCA) and Doo Financial Cyprus (CySEC) are licensed separately.
ModerateFX News Group, 11 August 2025E23Finance Magnates covered the rebrand on 11 August 2025. It named D Prime Vanuatu Limited and D Prime Mauritius Limited as the licensed entities at that time and dated the Manchester United partnership to 2023.
E24DOO PRIME LIMITED (15249358), incorporated on 31 October 2023 with a registered office in Manchester, was dissolved on 13 May 2025.
E25Doo Solutions Cyprus Ltd, HE 454169, was registered on 30 November 2023 and remains registered. D Prime's entity notice says it handles administrative and payment functions only.
E26The homepage claims 519,890+ active clients in 187+ regions and more than 2,000,000 traders. The Our Story page claims 242,497+ active clients in 152+ regions.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
D Prime is not a fly-by-night website, and several facts count in its favour.
- D Prime Vanuatu Limited holds an active VFSC dealer licence. Its identity matches across the licensee list, its LEI record, the Client Agreement and the site footer.
- It belongs to the Doo Group. Trade press reports that the group's sister companies include an FCA-authorised UK firm and a CySEC-licensed Cyprus firm. Those licences do not cover D Prime accounts, but the group does hold real regulated licences.
- Japan's list of unregistered firms also names many large offshore brokers. Both notices are about selling in Japan without a Japanese licence. Neither is a finding about client money.
- Brokers do cancel trades that exploit price errors or latency, and D Prime's contract bans those strategies. Several complainants say their deposits came back. D Prime replies to complaints in public and asks for case details.
- There are positive reviews too, including one about a withdrawal paid within an hour. The brand has sponsored Manchester United since 2023.
- D Prime warns clients about clone sites such as capitaldoo.com. The 2021 Malaysian clone alert concerns other domains, not dooprime.com.
- The Mauritius change could reflect a restructuring. We found no revocation notice.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
These developments would move the rating, in either direction.
- Lower risk: D Prime registers in Japan or refuses Japanese residents, and Japan withdraws its listing.
- Lower risk: the licence page names the company behind each licence, or removes SD090 if it does not cover D Prime clients.
- Lower risk: D Prime or the FSC Mauritius explains what happened to licence C119023907 and to the clients registered under it.
- Lower risk: published outcomes, such as VFSC findings, show the voided-profit cases were decided fairly, or these complaints fall off and stay down.
- Higher risk: a regulator finds that client deposits were withheld, another regulator issues a warning, or credible reports show fees demanded before a withdrawal is released.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is D Prime a scam?
We rate D Prime a likely scam risk, not a confirmed scam. It is a real broker with an active offshore licence in Vanuatu. But Japan's regulator has warned it for selling without registration, and many clients report profits cancelled and accounts closed when they try to withdraw.
Is D Prime a fraud?
We found no regulator or court finding of fraud against D Prime, and we do not describe it as a fraud. The official findings on record are two notices from Japan's FSA naming the brand for soliciting OTC derivatives without registration. The pattern of voided profits is serious, and we assess the risk to profitable traders as high.
Is D Prime regulated?
Only offshore. D Prime Vanuatu Limited, the company in its Client Agreement, holds an active Vanuatu Financial Services Commission dealer licence, number 700238. The Seychelles licence SD090 shown on its site is held by a sister company under another brand. Its former Mauritius licence does not appear on the FSC public register at the time of writing.
Who owns D Prime and which company holds my account?
D Prime is the offshore CFD brand of the Doo Group. Accounts opened under its Client Agreement, updated 25 February 2026, are with D Prime Vanuatu Limited, registered at Govant Building, Port Vila. Its LEI record lists headquarters in Singapore, and Doo Solutions Cyprus Ltd handles some payments and administration.
Is D Prime the same as Doo Prime?
Yes. Doo Prime rebranded as D Prime in 2025 and kept the dooprime.com website. D Prime Vanuatu Limited was previously named Doo Prime Vanuatu Limited. Japan's FSA linked the two names in its September 2026 notice, so reviews and warnings under the old name concern the same business.
Why did Japan's regulator warn about D Prime?
Japan's Financial Services Agency lists D Prime Vanuatu Limited for soliciting OTC derivatives trading over the internet without the registration Japanese law requires. It first warned the Doo Prime service on 24 July 2024. It added D Prime in September 2026, citing the Japanese site dprimejp.com. Japan is not on D Prime's list of refused countries.
Can I withdraw my money from D Prime?
Many clients do, and some report fast payouts. But complaints from late 2025 to October 2026 describe withdrawals blocked after profitable trading, profits cancelled and accounts closed. Some clients say their deposit was refunded; others say part of it was withheld or delayed. Test a small withdrawal first and withdraw profits often.
Why do some D Prime clients report cancelled profits?
Clauses 6.2(j) and 6.3 of the Client Agreement let D Prime claw back profits and freeze client money at its sole discretion and without notice. It can do this if it decides a client exploited quotation flaws, latency, liquidity or bonuses, or broke its internal risk policies. Complainants say they traded manually and got no trade-by-trade evidence. We cannot judge individual cases, but the pattern is consistent.
Is licence SD090 D Prime's licence?
Not for D Prime clients. The Seychelles FSA lists the holder as Doo Financial Lite SC Limited, formerly Doo Prime (Seychelles) Limited, trading as Doo Financial Lite with the website sc.doofinancial.com. D Prime's Client Agreement names only D Prime Vanuatu Limited as your counterparty.
What happened to D Prime's Mauritius licence?
Until at least March 2026, D Prime's licence page listed D Prime Mauritius Limited with FSC Mauritius licence C119023907. The page no longer shows it, and no D Prime company appears on the FSC public register at the time of writing. We found no surrender or revocation notice, so the reason is unexplained.
Is my money safe with D Prime?
Protection is limited. Vanuatu has no investor compensation scheme, the contract is governed by Vanuatu law, and the broker can claw back profits at its discretion. Keep balances small and withdraw regularly.
How do I avoid D Prime clone websites?
Use dooprime.com and its subdomains such as my.dooprime.com. D Prime has warned about a fake site at capitaldoo.com. Malaysia's Securities Commission listed clone sites including dooprimes.com and doppremium.com in 2021. Never deposit through a link from someone who contacted you first.
How old is D Prime?
The site says D Prime was founded in 2014, the year the Doo Group gives for its own founding. The brand's own records start later: dooprime.com was registered in December 2017, and its operating companies were created in November 2019. That gives about seven years of history we could verify.
What can I do if D Prime cancelled my profits or blocked a withdrawal?
Ask D Prime in writing for the exact trades, prices and clause relied on, and keep copies of everything. If that fails, complain to the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission, which licenses D Prime Vanuatu Limited. Be wary of recovery services that ask for fees upfront.
What should I check before depositing with D Prime?
Confirm you are contracting with D Prime Vanuatu Limited and that it still shows as Active on the VFSC licensee list. Read Clauses 6.2 and 6.3 of the Client Agreement, and if you live in Japan, note the regulator's warning. Start small and make a test withdrawal before adding more.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
If you are thinking about D Prime, or already trade there, take these steps.
- Deposit only what you can afford to lose. Your contract is with D Prime Vanuatu Limited, and Vanuatu has no investor compensation scheme.
- If you live in Japan, Japan's regulator says D Prime is not registered to serve you, so Japanese investor protections will not apply.
- Read Clauses 6.2 and 6.3 of the Client Agreement before trading. They let the broker claw back profits if it decides you exploited prices, latency, bonuses or its internal risk rules.
- Test a small withdrawal first and withdraw profits regularly. Keep deposit receipts, MT4 or MT5 statements, trade tickets and every support email.
- If profits are cancelled, ask in writing for the exact trades, prices and clause relied on. Then complain to the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission.
- Use only dooprime.com and its subdomains. Ignore anyone offering to recover money for an upfront fee.
