FSCA is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Most Popular Questions

Yes, in circumstances its terms define. easyMarkets Pty Ltd's client agreement lets it cancel any profits after a Default Event (clause 25.1). It decides in its sole discretion what counts as one, and the definition lists scalping, placing opposing orders, accounts sharing a device or IP address, excessive leverage and failing to respond to its correspondence (clause 1.1). It may also cancel the trades and profits of an Islamic account it suspects of abuse (clause 13), and EF Worldwide Ltd's trading credit rules allow profits above the initial deposit to be cancelled when a client trading with a bonus uses leverage above 1:200.

On the broker's EU site, a client must meet two of three tests: trades of significant size averaging 10 per quarter over the previous four quarters, a portfolio including deposits above 500,000 EUR, or at least one year in a professional position in the financial sector. Professional clients get higher leverage but give up retail protections: the broker states that they are not eligible for the Investor Compensation Fund and that the Cyprus product intervention measures do not apply to them.

Yes, on the EU site: every account carries negative balance protection. Guaranteed stop loss with no slippage is available only on the easyMarkets platform and TradingView, where activating it widens the spread; it is not offered on MT4 or MT5.

easyMarkets' EU company, Easy Forex Trading Ltd, accepts residents of the EU and the European Economic Area except Spain, and restricts CFDs for Belgian clients; residents of other countries are routed to the group's other companies. The registration form turns away residents of British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec, and its country list does not include the United States, Israel or North Korea. The broker's app pages for India and Japan state that EF Worldwide Ltd is not supervised by the regulators of those countries and that the site is not aimed at their residents.

Under the EU client agreement, a complaint goes first to customer support at eusupport@easy-markets.com and then, in writing, to the Compliance Officer at eucomplaints@easy-markets.com (clause 24.1). Each complaint receives a unique reference number in an initial response, generally within five business days (clause 24.2).

EU clients can call +357 25 828 899, where phone support runs 24/5, email eusupport@easy-markets.com, or use live chat on the site. WhatsApp (+357 99 248 926) and Facebook Messenger chat run Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 21:00 and Friday 08:00 to 24:00, Cyprus time. The Australian site lists a 24/5 free call desk on 1800 176 935 and +61 2 9299 9466 for international callers.

Yes, on request: the EU client agreement (clause 4.12) offers an Islamic account to clients who need one for religious reasons. It does not stay swap-free for long-held positions, because swaps are charged on MT4 and MT5 positions left open for more than 14 days, and on cryptocurrency positions after 7 days.

The EU accounts charge no commission: EUR/USD spreads start at 0.6 pips fixed on the easyMarkets platform and TradingView, and at 1.2 pips on MT4 and MT5 Standard or 0.6 pips on the VIP accounts, both floating. The account comparison lists account fees as zero, but the EU client agreement charges a dormant fee of 25 US dollars, or the free balance if lower, every six months after 12 months without transactions (clause 5.4), and 5 US dollars a month on closed accounts with no payment details (clause 5.5).

On its EU site, easyMarkets says it processes withdrawal requests within one business day (24 hours) once identity checks are complete, and the money then takes 3 to 10 business days to arrive, depending on the destination and the client's bank. There is no minimum for withdrawals to cards and e-wallets, a 50 US dollar minimum for withdrawals to bank accounts, and funds go back to the original deposit method. The Australian client agreement sets no fixed time: easyMarkets Pty Ltd undertakes to use all reasonable endeavours to pay as instructed and excludes liability for any loss caused by a delay in funds arriving (clause 29.5).

Retail clients on the broker's EU site get leverage of up to 1:30 on all five accounts, in line with ESMA rules. Clients who qualify as professional can reach up to 1:400 on currencies on the easyMarkets platform and TradingView, and up to 1:2000 dynamic leverage on currencies on MT4 and MT5, with lower caps on metals, commodities, indices, shares and cryptocurrencies.

easyMarkets is run by several companies, and the one a client signs with depends on where the client lives. easyMarkets Pty Ltd (ACN 107 184 510, formerly easy-forex Pty Ltd) runs the Australian site; its company registration, with incorporation on 26 November 2003, was confirmed on ASIC's company register data and ABN Lookup on 22 October 2026. Easy Forex Trading Ltd of Limassol, Cyprus, serves residents of the EU and EEA other than Spain, and residents of other countries are routed to the group's other companies, among them EF Worldwide Ltd of Road Town, British Virgin Islands, and a Seychelles company of the same name. The group's South African company, EF Worldwide (Pty) Ltd, is authorised by the FSCA as an intermediary.

On its EU site, easyMarkets offers CFDs on currencies, metals, commodities, indices, shares and cryptocurrencies, and vanilla options on its own easyMarkets platform. It lists more than 150 instruments on MT4 and more than 135 on MT5.

On its EU website, easyMarkets sets a minimum deposit of 25 US dollars on all five of its retail accounts: the easyMarkets platform and TradingView account, and the Standard and VIP accounts on MT4 and MT5. The Professional account page states no minimum deposit. These are the terms the broker publishes for EU and EEA clients of Easy Forex Trading Ltd.

For EU clients, easyMarkets lists Visa, MasterCard and Maestro cards, Neteller and Skrill, bank wire transfer, and iDEAL for clients in the Netherlands. Card and e-wallet deposits are instant, iDEAL takes up to an hour and a wire one working day, and the broker says it charges no fees to fund or withdraw, although its EU client agreement (clause 4.11.6) makes the client bear the charges when profits are returned to an e-wallet. Withdrawals go back to the original deposit method, and any amount above the total deposited is sent by another method.

easyMarkets offers four platforms: its own easyMarkets web platform and app for iOS and Android, TradingView (connected to an easyMarkets account on the web, desktop and mobile), MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. Vanilla options are available only on the easyMarkets platform, and guaranteed stop loss with no slippage is offered on the easyMarkets platform and TradingView but not on MT4 or MT5. Expert Advisors run on MT4 and MT5, which are downloaded after registering.

Yes. easyMarkets Pty Ltd's Australian Financial Services Licence 246566 from ASIC and Easy Forex Trading Ltd's Cyprus Investment Firm licence 079/07 from CySEC were confirmed on the regulators' own registers on 22 October 2026. The same checks found EF Worldwide Ltd on the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission's Investment Business list, under Dealing as Agent and Dealing as Principal, and a Seychelles company of the same name on the Seychelles FSA's list of securities dealers; neither list prints a licence number, and SIBA/L/20/1135 and SD056 are the numbers the broker gives. EF Worldwide (Pty) Ltd holds FSCA authorisation 54018 in South Africa, which covers acting as an intermediary only, not as the counterparty to client trades.

Licence 54018 was issued by Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), the financial authority for South Africa.
easyMarkets holds this FSCA licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the FSCA register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
Wikilix rates FSCA tier 2: a well-established regime with real supervision, usually with lower compensation limits than a tier-1 authority.
Yes, FSCA is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
easyMarkets has 4 other licences on record with Wikilix, across 4 jurisdictions. They are listed further down this page.
