Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
7/10 · HighNo licence from any financial regulator while taking retail deposits. The only two credentials are a Saint Lucia company registration and a US money services business registration, neither of which authorises brokerage.
Identity & transparency
5/10 · ModerateThe entity is real and openly named: EPIC PIPS LTD is on Saint Lucia's IBC registry and on a US federal register at the same published address. Against that, the disclosure is bent to imply regulation it does not hold, no management is named, and clients were moved to another entity behind a silent redirect.
Withdrawals & conduct
8/10 · CriticalFour fund-integrity reports describe one mechanism: withdrawal cancelled, cabinet blocked, rule breach alleged without evidence. Amounts of $1,078 and about $4,000 are documented, and the company itself confirmed voiding one balance as toxic flow. Credited down from the top band because many clients report being paid.
Reputation
6/10 · High144 Trustpilot reviews, mostly positive but with a tight February 2026 cluster of praise from single-review accounts, set against specific unresolved fund-integrity accounts. No regulator warning or alert-list entry was found.
Website claims
9/10 · CriticalHolds itself out as trusted and licensed with no licence in existence: a company number published as a trade license number, a money-services registration advertised as a US currency exchange licence, a directory listing presented as an international approval, and a 2021 founding claim against a 2023 earliest footprint.
Operational history
7/10 · HighAbout three years at most, and that is an upper bound because neither Saint Lucia entity could be dated. The Epic Pips brand itself dates only to September 2024 and has now been retired into a redirect, while the advertised history claims 2021 and six years.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
Six findings drive the assessment, and the regulatory ones matter most because they are the only things standing between a client's deposit and a total loss.
- There is no financial regulator behind this broker. We searched Saint Lucia's Registry of International Business Companies and found EPIC PIPS LTD listed as an IBC, which is a company registration. Saint Lucia's international business companies registry does not license forex or CFD brokerage. No licence exists under the brand, the legal entity or either number the broker advertises.
- Its US credential is not a licence, and the regulator says so itself. We opened FinCEN's money services business register and found EPIC PIPS LTD, number 31000308932803, received 27 August 2025, at the Saint Lucia address the broker publishes. The registration is genuine. But FinCEN states on that same register that it does not approve or endorse any business that has registered as a money services business, that any such claim is false and may be part of a scam, and that inclusion is not a certification of legitimacy. Advertising it as a United States Currency Exchange License inverts that.
- A company number was published as a trade licence. The Epic Pips legal notice described the company as incorporated in Saint Lucia under trade license number 2024-00571. That number is an incorporation reference, not permission to hold client money.
- Clients report money not coming back, in one consistent pattern. Four accounts describe the same sequence: deposit, trade, request a withdrawal, then have the withdrawal cancelled and the client cabinet blocked while a rule breach is alleged without evidence. One client documents $1,078 frozen in December 2025, another about $4,000 in October 2025. The reports cluster between October and December 2025 and carry checkable amounts and dates. Three of the four pattern tests we apply are met, so we treat the pattern as strong but not regulator-confirmed.
- The company confirmed one of these cases itself. Replying publicly to a client whose withdrawal was cancelled and cabinet blocked, Epic Pips wrote that the trading activity had been identified as toxic flow, a practice not permitted under section 3.15 of its terms. That is the company confirming it kept a client's balance. For the two largest amounts it instead replied that it could find no account matching the details.
- The advertised history is longer than the evidence supports. The successor site claims a 2021 founding and six years of growth. The oldest domain in the group was registered in August 2023, and both company numbers point to 2023 and 2024. It also presents a listing on a third-party broker directory as an international approval and a mark of credibility, which is marketing rather than regulation.
Two limits on this conclusion. Neither Saint Lucia entity could be dated, because that registry's public search returns names without incorporation dates, so the roughly three-year track record we can evidence is an upper bound and the true figure may be shorter. And no regulator has published a warning or taken action against this operation, so we hold evidence rather than a finding.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1FinCEN's money services business register lists EPIC PIPS LTD, number 31000308932803, at Ground Floor, The Sotheby Building, Rodney Village, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, received 27 August 2025. The company and the address the broker publishes are genuine and belong to it, not to another firm.
E2FinCEN states on its own register that it does not approve or endorse any business registered as a money services business, that any such claim is false and may be part of a scam, and that inclusion is not a recommendation or certification of legitimacy. Epic Pips advertises this registration as a United States Currency Exchange License.
E3The Epic Pips legal notice states the company is an International Business Company incorporated in Saint Lucia under trade license number 2024-00571. That reference is a company incorporation number, and Saint Lucia's international business companies registry does not license forex or CFD brokerage.
E4Saint Lucia's Registry of International Business Companies returns EPIC PIPS LTD. (IBC) and STB Provider Ltd. (IBC). Both are company registrations. No financial-market licence exists for either entity, under either brand or either advertised number.
E5A client documents $1,078 frozen after a withdrawal request in December 2025. The withdrawal was rejected on an unevidenced allegation of fake identity and rule breaches, the client cabinet was blocked, a 48 hour review was promised and no resolution followed.
E6Replying in public to a client whose withdrawal was cancelled and cabinet blocked, Epic Pips wrote that the trading activity had been identified as toxic flow, a practice not permitted under section 3.15 of its terms. The company confirms it retained the client's balance.
E7A second client reports about $4,000 withheld in October 2025 after the account was deactivated and withdrawal refused. A third reports a prop account closed without reason. In the largest cases the company replied that it held no record of the client.
E8The operation advertises a 2021 founding year and six years of growth, and presents both a US money-services registration and a listing on a third-party broker directory as international approvals and marks of credibility. Section headings describe it as trusted and licensed on the strength of company number 2023-00478.
E9Domain records show epicpips.com registered on 25 September 2024 and the successor domain stbbrokers.com on 26 August 2023, both behind Cloudflare nameservers. The earliest verifiable footprint of the group is August 2023, against an advertised 2021 founding.
ModerateVerisign RDAP domain recordsE10STB Provider LTD states it completed the acquisition of Epic Pips LTD in 2026. Both companies publish the same Saint Lucia registered address and the same Sofia office address, and epicpips.com redirects to stbbrokers.com, so the two brands are one operation.
E11epicpips.com no longer serves an Epic Pips website and resolves to stbbrokers.com, whose footer names STB Provider LTD, company number 2023-00478, at the same Gros-Islet address and the same Sofia office, and excludes residents of the USA, Turkey, UAE and Saint Lucia.
Moderatestbbrokers.com footerE12Trustpilot carries 144 reviews for epicpips.com dating from December 2023 to February 2026, the majority positive with several praising deposit and withdrawal speed, and has marked the profile as closed. Positive reviews cluster tightly in mid-February 2026 from accounts with one or two lifetime reviews.
E13No regulator warning, alert-list entry, enforcement action or fraud-related court record naming Epic Pips, epicpips.com, STB Provider or stbbrokers.com was found. EPIC PIPS LTD also remains on FinCEN's register, which FinCEN says it removes registrants from after an adverse determination relating to fraud or money laundering.
E14Deposits are accepted in crypto, including USDT, from a $30 minimum, alongside card logos, on MetaTrader 5 with leverage advertised up to 1:300. Client money therefore arrives partly by crypto transfer at an operation holding no financial licence.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The case for the broker deserves a fair hearing, and parts of it are solid.
- The company is real and openly identified. EPIC PIPS LTD is on Saint Lucia's official IBC registry, and the same name and address appear independently on a US federal register. Nothing here is borrowed from another firm: no licence number, entity name or address belongs to somebody else, so this is not a clone.
- Most clients report being paid. Of 144 Trustpilot reviews the majority are positive, and several specifically praise deposit and withdrawal speed. A pure theft operation does not generate that record.
- No regulator has warned about it. We found no alert-list entry, no enforcement action and no fraud-related court record naming Epic Pips, epicpips.com, STB Provider or stbbrokers.com. FinCEN removes registrants who become subject to fraud or money-laundering determinations, and this entity is still listed.
- The company answers complaints in public. It replies to negative reviews and asks for client identifiers, and in one bonus dispute it said the reward had been paid after the client complained. Silence is a worse sign than argument.
- Offshore registration is not fraud. Many genuine brokers operate from low-tier jurisdictions. Being unlicensed is a serious risk to a client's deposit, not proof of intent to steal.
- Part of the business genuinely needs no licence. Funded-trader challenges are a fee-for-service model that is unlicensed by design. That defence does not extend to the brokerage side, which takes deposits for live market trading, and it is the deposit side we assess here.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
Concrete things that would move this assessment in either direction.
- Would improve it: a licence for the entity that holds client money, verifiable on the register of a genuine financial regulator, with the trading of retail CFDs inside its permitted scope.
- Would improve it: the operation dropping the word licence from its Saint Lucia company number and its US money-services registration, and describing both accurately.
- Would improve it: documented resolution of the outstanding cases, with the $1,078 and roughly $4,000 balances returned and the clients confirming it publicly.
- Would improve it: incorporation records showing either Saint Lucia entity is materially older than the 2023 and 2024 registrations suggest, which would replace an upper-bound track record with a verified one.
- Would worsen it: a warning or alert naming Epic Pips, epicpips.com, STB Provider or stbbrokers.com from any regulator, which would take this to a confirmed finding.
- Would worsen it: a credible, specific report of the operation demanding a further payment, such as a tax, fee or insurance, before releasing funds. We found no such report, and one would change the picture sharply.
- Would worsen it: fund-integrity complaints of the same shape appearing against stbbrokers.com from clients whose accounts moved across in the acquisition.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is Epic Pips a scam?
We assess Epic Pips as high risk and rate it 73 out of 100 on our scam-likelihood scale, which places it in our likely-scam band. It holds no licence from any financial regulator, it advertises two registrations as though they were licences, and several clients report deposits withheld after withdrawal requests. Many other clients report being paid normally, so this is our assessment of risk rather than a proven finding of theft.
Is Epic Pips a fraud?
No regulator or court has found Epic Pips guilty of fraud, and we found no enforcement action and no fraud-related court record naming the company. We do assess the risk of fraud as high, because the operation takes client deposits with no financial licence at all and clients report money not being returned. That is an opinion based on the evidence in this report, not a legal finding.
Is Epic Pips regulated?
No. There is no licence from any financial regulator. Epic Pips is registered in Saint Lucia as an International Business Company, which is a company registration, and with the US Treasury's FinCEN as a money services business, which is a reporting registration. Neither authorises it to run a brokerage or to hold client trading funds.
What is the Epic Pips licence number 2024-00571?
It is the company's Saint Lucia incorporation reference. The Epic Pips legal notice described it as a trade license number, but Saint Lucia's international business companies registry only registers companies and does not license forex or CFD brokerage. We confirmed EPIC PIPS LTD on that registry as an IBC.
Epic Pips advertises a United States currency exchange licence. Is that real?
The registration is real but it is not a licence. We found EPIC PIPS LTD on FinCEN's money services business register, number 31000308932803, received in August 2025. FinCEN states on the same register that it does not approve or endorse any registered money services business, that any such claim is false and may be part of a scam, and that being listed is not a certification of legitimacy. It also does not permit brokerage.
Can I withdraw my money from Epic Pips?
Many clients report withdrawals arriving quickly, but several report the opposite. Four accounts describe withdrawals being cancelled and the client cabinet blocked while a rule breach was alleged, including $1,078 in December 2025 and around $4,000 in October 2025. If you hold a balance, request it now, start with a small amount and keep every receipt and ticket number.
Why did epicpips.com stop working?
The domain no longer serves its own site. It redirects to stbbrokers.com, operated by STB Provider LTD, which states on its company page that it completed the acquisition of Epic Pips LTD in 2026. Trustpilot has also marked the Epic Pips profile as closed. If you had an account, check which entity your contract and login now name.
What is STB Provider and how is it connected to Epic Pips?
STB Provider LTD is the operation that now holds the brand. It says it acquired Epic Pips LTD in 2026, and epicpips.com redirects to its website. Both companies are Saint Lucia IBCs, both publish the same registered address in Gros-Islet and both give the same office address in Sofia, Bulgaria. Neither holds a financial licence.
Is my money safe with Epic Pips?
There is no regulatory protection. Without a financial licence there is no supervisor to complain to, no client-money rules being enforced and no compensation scheme if the company fails or refuses to pay. Claims of segregated funds and negative balance protection are made by the company itself and no regulator verifies them.
Is Epic Pips a clone of another broker?
No. We checked every identifier it publishes and none belongs to another company. The legal entity, the registered address and the FinCEN number all genuinely relate to EPIC PIPS LTD. Its problem is the absence of a licence and the way its registrations are described, not the impersonation of somebody else.
How old is Epic Pips?
The Epic Pips domain was registered in September 2024, and the oldest domain in the group dates to August 2023. That makes the operation about three years old at most. We treat that as an upper bound, because Saint Lucia's registry publishes company names without incorporation dates, so neither entity could be dated. The 2021 founding year advertised by the operation that owns the brand is not supported by what we could verify.
What should I check before depositing with any broker like this?
Find the licence number, then look it up on the regulator's own register rather than trusting the broker's website. Check that the licence covers retail CFD trading and that it is held by the same company that takes your deposit. Treat a company registration number, a money-services registration or a directory listing as no protection at all, and be wary if deposits are pushed towards crypto transfers.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Our advice for anyone holding or considering an account.
- Do not send new money. There is no regulator to complain to and no compensation scheme, so a deposit here has no safety net whatever the platform looks like.
- If you hold a balance, withdraw it now and take the smallest step first: request a modest amount, keep the ticket numbers, and screenshot everything before you ask.
- Keep your records. Save deposit receipts, crypto transaction hashes, chat logs and the terms page. If a balance is later voided under a clause such as section 3.15, those records are what an acquirer, a payment provider or a card issuer will ask for.
- Treat the licence wording as a warning in itself. A company registration number and a money-services registration are not trading licences, and FinCEN publishes that point directly on its own register.
- Never pay a fee to release your funds. No legitimate firm asks for a tax, fee or unlock payment before returning your money, and anyone offering to recover lost funds for an upfront fee should be refused.
- Note that your counterparty may have changed. epicpips.com now redirects to STB Provider, which says it acquired Epic Pips LTD. Check which entity your contract and your cabinet now name before you act.
- For our own records: flag the profile as high risk, correct the website field to reflect the redirect, and re-check in 90 days for warning-list activity against either brand.
