Finding

An Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting) licence held by an entity registered with the FSC as ETO Markets in Port Louis, licensed on 28 Nov 2019 and announced by the group in January 2026. The FSC register shows no number or contact details and must be searched by name, so the link to C119023893 rests on the name and the broker's own statement. Client protection: Low to moderate: Mauritius supervision is firmer than Seychelles, but there is no compensation scheme. Effective: 28 Nov 2019.

Questions about this licence

Answered from this register entry and the authority’s own record.

Most Popular Questions

Yes, in the cases its client agreement sets out. If ETO Markets believes a client has manipulated its prices, execution or trading platform, clause 9.7 lets it enforce trades that leave the client owing money, treat trades that leave it owing the client as void unless the client proves otherwise within 30 days, withhold funds and close the account. The clause's list of manipulation includes hedging, one trader trading several accounts at the same time and 'use of excessive leverage', although the account pages allow hedging and offer leverage of up to 1:1000.

Yes, through a separate group entity. On 22 October 2026, the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC) listed an entity named ETO Markets, based in Port Louis, as an Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting), licensed on 28 November 2019. The register gives no licence number, so the number C119023893 rests on the group's own statement. Accounts opened on www.etomarkets.com are held with the Seychelles company ETO Markets Limited, not with the Mauritius entity.

Only its Australian company is. On 22 October 2026, the ASIC register showed Australian financial services licence 420224 as current in the name of ETO Group Pty Ltd. That company runs the brand's Australian site, www.etomarkets.com.au, for Australian residents only, with leverage capped at 1:30. Accounts opened on www.etomarkets.com are held with ETO Markets Limited in Seychelles, which is not the ASIC licensee and is regulated by the Seychelles FSA instead.

ETO Markets' client agreement asks clients to raise a dispute in writing, giving their full name, contact details, trading account number and the details of the dispute, and to contact the broker for its internal complaints process; the site names no separate complaints address, and its contact page gives info@eto-markets.com and +248 437 4772. If the broker does not resolve it, clause 27.2 lets the client refer the dispute to the Seychelles Financial Services Authority and says disputes must be dealt with in Seychelles, while clause 27.3 leaves the broker free to bring proceedings in any jurisdiction. Time limits are short: under clause 6.6 a trade confirmation is conclusive unless the client objects in writing within 24 hours of receiving it, and an account statement within 3 business days.

ETO Markets' account pages list negative balance protection among the features of every account, but its legal documents say otherwise. Its risk disclosure statement warns that if total exposure on margin trades exceeds the deposit, a client risks losing more than that deposit, and clause 14.3 of the client agreement keeps the client liable for any losses on the account, whatever the funds available when an order was filled. Every account has a stop-out level of 50%.

Yes. ETO Markets runs ETO Plus, a copy trading platform used in the browser at www.etoplus.co, and the ETO CopyTrading portal, where clients log in with a trading account and register as a strategy provider or a follower. The ETO Plus home page advertises MT4 and MT5 integration, while a notice on the same site says its upgraded system supports MT5 accounts only for now. The broker also offers ETO PAMM on MT5, where money managers can charge performance, commission and management fees.

No. Every ETO Markets account charges overnight swaps, and the broker offers no swap-free or Islamic account. A swap-free promotion, which moved accounts that applied by email to a swap-free group for 14 days, ran from 1 January to 31 March 2026 and has ended.

ETO Markets' platform pages describe withdrawals as instant, but its client agreement says requests made through the trading platform are generally processed within 24 hours and requests made any other way within 2 to 5 business days. That is the broker's handling time; the bank or payment provider then takes its own time to deliver the money. Under clause 17.4 the broker may also withhold part of a credit balance at its discretion, for example while an overnight position shows a loss, more margin may be needed or a dispute is unresolved.

ETO Markets names Visa and Mastercard cards, Neteller, Skrill, UnionPay, Tether and bank transfers as payment options. It publishes no deposit or withdrawal fees, minimums or maximums for these methods, and payments are made in US dollars unless agreed otherwise and must come from the account holder. Under the client agreement, clients bear the charges of receiving and intermediary banks.

The ECN Account has spreads from 0.0 pips and a commission of USD 7 per lot, and the site does not say whether that is charged per side or per round turn. The STP and CENT accounts charge no commission, but the site quotes their spreads two ways: from 1.5 pips for both in the account comparison table, and from 1.0 pips for STP and 1.7 pips for CENT on the home page. The client agreement adds that prices in a trade confirmation are net of any charges other than commissions, which may not be shown separately, and that the exchange rate it offers for currency conversions includes its markup.

ETO Markets' global site offers three accounts: the ECN Account from USD 1,000, with spreads from 0.0 pips and a commission of USD 7 per lot; the STP Account from USD 100, with no commission; and the CENT Account from USD 2, with no commission and US cents as the base currency. Visitors from Thailand are shown a different line-up that adds a BASIC Account, with every account starting at USD 10. The account pages allow expert advisors, scalping and hedging, although clause 9.7 of the client agreement lists hedging among the trading the broker may treat as manipulation.

ETO Markets' global website, www.etomarkets.com, and its client portal are operated by ETO Markets Limited. Its site says the company is registered in Seychelles under company number 850672-1, and the Seychelles FSA listed it on its register of securities dealers on 22 October 2026. The site gives an office at F20, 1st Floor, Eden Plaza, Eden Island, Seychelles. The brand's Australian website, www.etomarkets.com.au, is run by a separate company, ETO Group Pty Ltd (ABN 66 155 680 890), which holds the group's ASIC licence, and an entity the Mauritius FSC lists as ETO Markets, in Port Louis, holds a Mauritius licence.

Yes. ETO Markets' website says its products and services are not intended for residents of 28 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Israel, Malaysia, Russia, Ukraine, Iran and North Korea, and its sign-up form asks applicants to confirm that they are not US or Canadian citizens. Visitors from Australia are sent to the brand's Australian site, www.etomarkets.com.au, which is directed only at Australian residents.

ETO Markets offers margin forex and CFDs on precious metals, energies, indices, cryptocurrencies and stocks. Stock CFDs are available on the ECN and STP accounts but not on the CENT Account.

Clients can call ETO Markets on +248 437 4772 or email info@eto-markets.com, and the site footer also gives info@eto.group. The broker advertises 24/7 support, and its website has a help widget with live chat and a message form for when chat is offline. The site is available in nine languages, including English, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian.

The minimum deposit at ETO Markets depends on the account: USD 2 for the CENT Account, USD 100 for the STP Account and USD 1,000 for the ECN Account, while visitors from Thailand are shown a line-up in which every account starts at USD 10. Every account on the global site offers maximum leverage of 1:1000 with a 50% stop-out level, and the brand's Australian site, run by a separate company for Australian residents, caps leverage at 1:30. Clause 9.7 of the client agreement lists 'use of excessive leverage' among the behaviours the broker may treat as manipulation.

ETO Markets supports MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, each with downloads for Windows, Mac, Android and iOS. It also runs its own copy trading services, ETO Plus in the browser at www.etoplus.co and the ETO CopyTrading portal, plus ETO PAMM on MT5 for investing through money managers.

Accounts opened on www.etomarkets.com are held with ETO Markets Limited, a Seychelles company that the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA), an offshore regulator, listed on its register of securities dealers on 22 October 2026. The register shows no licence number; SD062 is the number given on the broker's own site and in its documents. The group's ASIC and Mauritius licences are held by other group companies, not by ETO Markets Limited. On safety, the client agreement makes ETO Markets Limited the counterparty to every trade and keeps clients liable for losses beyond their balance, although the account pages advertise negative balance protection.
