Finex tells you on its About page that your money is guaranteed safe by the Government of Indonesia, because BAPPEBTI supervises the firm. No document Finex publishes gives you any guarantee, and the trading rules warn that losses can be very large.
Why this matters
A supervisor is not an insurer. If your balance is wiped out, no Finex document promises to repay you, and no compensation scheme is named anywhere.
Exhibit 1Every flagged clause gets its own number so you can point at this one. The number does not change, so a link to it keeps working.CriticalHow much this clause can cost you, in our reading. Critical can take your money or your profit. Warning can delay or limit it. Notice is simply worth knowing before you sign.Harder than usualHow ordinary this wording looks next to the contracts we read. This is our reading of the clause, not a count of other brokers.
Maksud dari dokumen ini adalah memberitahukan bahwa kemungkinan kerugian atau keuntungan dalam perdagangan kontrak berjangka bisa mencapai jumlah yang sangat besar.
Where it sits: section 9 of 101 in the TRADING RULES (Peraturan Transaksi), near the start. We counted the numbered sections in the TRADING RULES (Peraturan Transaksi). This clause sits in section 9 of 101, about 9% of the way through. A fee written on the first page and the same fee written near the end are not the same disclosure.
Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must keep promotions fair, clear and not misleading, and may not present a regulator's approval as a guarantee of client money. Finex presents BAPPEBTI supervision as a government guarantee of your funds.
Finex is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.
