Independent safety report

Is Forexite a scam?

High risk (unverified)MEDIUM confidence
Updated August 12, 2026
Dormant offshore broker, trading platform offline

We found no proof that Forexite is a scam, but we cannot call it safe either: its trading platform has been switched off behind a 'maintenance' notice since around January 2025, and it has stayed that way for about 19 months.

  • The website at forexite.com shows one sentence and an email address. There is no platform, no login, no client area.
  • Archived copies show the TradeRoom platform still working on 13 December 2024 and already showing the maintenance notice by 9 February 2025.
  • The company is real and genuinely old. The domain was registered on 11 December 1998 and the brand ran continuously for more than 25 years.
  • It does hold a licence. The Belize regulator's own register lists FOREXITE LTD. with securities trading permissions, status Active. Belize is a weak offshore regulator and gives clients very little protection.
  • We found no regulator warning, no clone, and no wave of theft complaints after the shutdown. That absence is the main reason this is not rated worse.

Regulation

7/10 · High

A real licence confirmed Active on the Belize regulator's own register, but Belize is a weak offshore supervisor with no client compensation, and the register records no website for the licensee.

Identity & transparency

7/10 · High

A named, registered company with a published address, but two same named entities in two countries, three different addresses across its own pages, no owners disclosed, and a site that now discloses nothing beyond one email.

Withdrawals & conduct

6/10 · High

Only a handful of older fund access complaints and several confirmed successful payouts, but the withdrawal route itself has been closed for about 19 months, which is a fund access problem regardless of complaint volume.

Reputation

5/10 · Moderate

Thin but not hostile footprint over 25 years, no warning list entries and no regulator action, set against low third party ratings for payout speed and support.

Website claims

6/10 · High

The age and licence claims are honest and verifiable, but describing a 19 month closure as maintenance materially misstates the position to clients, and no licence verification link was ever published.

Operational history

3/10 · Low

Verified longevity, with a 1998 domain and continuous archived operation under one brand for more than two decades, though the incorporation date of the operating entity could not be confirmed at a registry.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

The desk file on this operation:

  • Brand: Forexite
  • Legal entity: FOREXITE LTD., Belize IBC number 136746. An older client contact page named Forexite Ltd. at Drake Chambers, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, so two entities in two countries carry the same name.
  • Registered: Suite 201, No. 8 Eve Street, Belize City, Belize
  • Website: forexite.com, currently showing only a maintenance notice. Related addresses: forexite.bz, traderoom.org and mini.forexite.com.
  • Only licence: Belize Financial Services Commission, number 9110312, Trading in Securities as Agent and as Principal, shown as Active on the regulator's register.
  • Offers: Historically forex, metals, indices, oil and gas and crypto pairs on its own TradeRoom platform, minimum deposit 1 USD. Nothing is on offer today.
  • Not accepted: No new business at all while the platform is down. The company's Belize page says it is preparing to reorganise.
  • Age claim: Services since 1998 and copyright from 1999. This one checks out.

An offshore securities dealer licence allowing the company to trade in securities as agent and as principal. It is a genuine licence from a real statutory regulator, but Belize sits at the weak end of the scale and provides no compensation scheme or deposit guarantee for retail clients.
Protection: Low. No compensation scheme, no deposit guarantee and limited practical recourse for clients outside Belize.Official register

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We rated this High Risk Unverified rather than scam or legitimate, and here is the reasoning.

  • The money route is closed. A broker you cannot log into is a broker you cannot withdraw from. The page at forexite.com has offered nothing but a maintenance sentence and an email address for about 19 months. Whatever the cause, a client with a balance has no self-serve way to reach it.
  • The outage is not brief and it is not explained. Archived copies show the platform still serving live charts on 13 December 2024 and already dark by 9 February 2025. Calling a 19 month closure 'maintenance' is not an honest description of the situation, and no public statement explains what happened.
  • The licence is real but thin. We opened the Belize regulator's own register and found FOREXITE LTD. listed with securities trading permissions and status Active. That is better than the many brokers who invent a number. Belize is still a low tier offshore regulator with no compensation scheme, so the licence does not protect deposits in any meaningful way.
  • One oddity we could not explain. The register entry records no website for the licensee, and the contact email held against it belongs to the domain of an entirely different brokerage group. We report that as we found it. We are not alleging anything from it, but it means we could not tie the licence to forexite.com through the register itself.
  • The company history is genuine. The domain dates from 11 December 1998 and archived copies show the same brand and the same platform running for more than two decades. This is not a shell that appeared last year.
  • No misconduct evidence surfaced. No regulator warning list names this brand or domain. There is no clone, no borrowed licence number, and no demand for a payment to release funds. Complaints exist but are old, few and mostly about spreads, support and slow payouts.
  • The figure reflects unresolved risk, not proven theft. Sixty percent says an operation holding retail money has been unreachable for a year and a half with no explanation, and that its only supervisor offers little recourse.

Note on operating history: the 27.7-year track record rests on domain registration alone. No company incorporation date could be established, so this is an upper bound rather than a confirmed age.

4 against4 in favour
  • E1The broker's own site serves only a maintenance notice and an email address, with the line stating the website and TradeRoom system are not available, under a 1999 to 2026 Forexite Ltd. copyright.

  • E2An archived copy from 13 December 2024 shows the TradeRoom platform still live and serving charts, which fixes the point before which the service was working.

    ModerateInternet Archive
  • E3An archived copy from 9 February 2025 already shows the maintenance notice, placing the shutdown between mid December 2024 and early February 2025 and making the outage about 19 months long.

    StrongInternet Archive
  • E4The Belize regulator's public register returns one licensee named FOREXITE LTD. holding licence 9110312 for Trading in Securities as Agent and as Principal, with status Active and a chief executive named as Amanda Coreen Young.

  • E5The same register entry records no website for the licensee and lists a contact email on the domain of an unrelated brokerage group, so the licence cannot be tied to forexite.com through the register itself.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

The case for Forexite deserves a fair hearing, and parts of it are strong.

  • The silence cuts in its favour. If a broker had walked off with client balances in January 2025, Russian and CIS trading forums would be loud about it by now. We looked and found no complaint wave after the shutdown at all. That is the single best argument that clients were paid out and the closure was orderly.
  • Older clients reported getting paid. Several reviewers who left mixed or negative feedback about spreads and support explicitly said their withdrawals went through, including one who complained about everything else but confirmed the remaining balance came out.
  • It never behaved like a boiler room. No bonuses, no contests, no account managers phoning clients, no crypto only deposit wallet, and a one dollar minimum deposit. Its own material argued against aggressive marketing.
  • The longevity is verified, not claimed. A 1998 domain with continuous archived history under one brand is exactly the profile a fraud cannot fake.
  • It is licensed and still on the register. A company quietly abandoning its clients does not usually keep an active securities licence in good standing on the regulator's own list.
  • The reorganisation story is plausible. The Belize page saying the company is preparing to reorganise and offer new products is consistent with a small legacy broker winding down an ageing platform rather than absconding.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

This verdict is not fixed. Specific findings would move it in either direction.

  • Towards safe: the platform coming back online with working logins and completed withdrawals, or a dated public statement from the company explaining the closure and confirming client funds were returned.
  • Towards safe: credible first hand reports from former clients confirming they were paid out during 2025.
  • Towards scam: even two or three specific, checkable reports from clients who still cannot get a balance back, with amounts and dates.
  • Towards scam: any demand that a client pay a fee, tax or verification charge before funds are released. That single pattern would change this report immediately.
  • Towards scam: a warning notice from any regulator naming forexite.com, or the Belize licence being suspended or cancelled.
  • Towards scam: the brand reappearing at a new domain taking fresh deposits while the old client balances stay unpaid.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

14 questions
Is Forexite a scam?

We found no proof that it is. There is no regulator warning against it, no fake licence and no clone. But we cannot call it safe either. Its trading platform has been switched off behind a maintenance notice for about 19 months, so nobody can log in or withdraw through the site.

Is Forexite regulated?

Yes, but only offshore. The Belize Financial Services Commission register lists FOREXITE LTD. under licence number 9110312 with permission to trade in securities as agent and as principal, status Active. Belize is a low tier regulator and offers very little practical protection to clients.

Why is the Forexite website not working?

The site shows a single line saying the website and TradeRoom system are unavailable due to maintenance. Archived copies show the platform was still running on 13 December 2024 and was already showing this notice by 9 February 2025. No public explanation for the closure has been given.

Can I still withdraw my money from Forexite?

Not through the website, because there is no working client area. The only route the company publishes is email to [email protected]. Write to it, keep copies of everything, and escalate to the Belize Financial Services Commission if you get no answer.

Is my money safe with Forexite?

Treat it as at risk. A Belize licence carries no compensation scheme, so if the company does not pay you there is no fund that will. The fact that you cannot reach your account through any platform makes the position worse.

How old is Forexite?

Genuinely old. The forexite.com domain was registered on 11 December 1998 and archived copies show the same brand and platform operating continuously for more than 25 years. Its claim to have served the forex market since 1998 is one of the few claims here that fully checks out.

Who owns Forexite?

That is not disclosed anywhere we could find. The company is FOREXITE LTD., a Belize company with registration number 136746 at Suite 201, No. 8 Eve Street, Belize City. An older contact page also named a Forexite Ltd. in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. No owners or directors are named on any of its own pages.

Is Forexite a clone of another broker?

No. We checked the licence number, the entity name and the registered address against the regulator's records and found nothing belonging to a different company. Forexite is using its own identity, not somebody else's.

What is a Belize FSC licence actually worth?

Not much for a retail client. It confirms a real company passed an offshore licensing process, which is better than nothing. It does not bring segregated account guarantees, a compensation scheme or the supervision you would get from a regulator such as the FCA or ASIC.

Are there complaints about Forexite not paying people?

There are a few, but they are old and thin. The specific ones we found date from around 2019 to 2021 and describe long withdrawal delays or a payment that did not arrive. Several other reviewers from the same period confirmed their withdrawals worked. We found no wave of complaints after the platform shut down.

What are forexite.bz and traderoom.org?

Both belong to the same operation. The forexite.bz page names the Belize company and says it is preparing to reorganise and offer new products. The traderoom.org address runs a copy of the TradeRoom platform that labels itself a test server with no registration, payments or trading.

Was Forexite ever a real broker?

Yes. Archived copies show a working trading platform, published trading conditions, quote histories and a client base drawn largely from Russian speaking countries. This is a legacy operation that has gone quiet, not a website built to take deposits and vanish.

What should I do if I lost money with Forexite?

Collect your account records, deposit receipts and statements, put your withdrawal request in writing to the company, then file a complaint with the Belize Financial Services Commission naming the licence number 9110312. Do not pay anyone who offers to recover your funds for an upfront fee.

Should I open an account with Forexite today?

No. There is no platform to trade on and no explanation of when or whether it returns. Any invitation to deposit with this brand at the moment should be treated with suspicion.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

What we suggest, depending on where you stand.

  • Do not send new money. There is nothing to trade on. Any site or person inviting you to deposit with Forexite right now should be treated as suspect.
  • If you still hold a balance, write to the published address, [email protected], and keep every reply. Ask in writing for your balance and a payout date.
  • Gather your paperwork now. Account number, deposit receipts, statements and screenshots of the closed site with the date visible. Recovery of any kind starts with records.
  • Complain to the supervisor. The Belize Financial Services Commission licenses this entity and runs a complaints process. That is the correct place to escalate.
  • Ignore anyone offering to recover your funds for a fee. Fund recovery services that ask for money up front are a second scam aimed at people in exactly this position.
  • If you are simply shopping for a broker, choose one supervised by a tier one authority where deposits are segregated and a compensation scheme exists.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
