FundingPips Broker Overview
FundingPips is a retail foreign exchange and CFD brand operated by FundingPips Corp, a limited liability company that its own website describes as incorporated under the laws of the Comoros Union with company number HY01223081. The site at fundingpips.net markets four trading accounts on MetaTrader 5, a minimum first deposit of 100 USD, leverage to 500:1 and roughly 200 tradable instruments across currencies, metals, commodities, stocks and cryptocurrencies. It gives a registered address on the island of Moheli in the Comoros Union and a physical office at 22nd Floor, Bay View Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The site does not state when the business began trading.
FundingPips Regulation and License
FundingPips presents a single licence. The footer of every page, the customer agreement and the AML policy state that FundingPips Corp is authorised and licensed under the International Brokerage and Clearing House Licence, IBC Regulation Act 2014, licence number BFX2024004, for currency trading, stock and securities brokerage, financial advisory, asset and fund management, custody, transaction clearing, payment processing and the issuance and underwriting of securities.
That Act is the offshore companies legislation of the Autonomous Island of Mwali, also written Moheli, in the Comoros Union, and the body that administers it is the Mwali International Services Authority. The site never names that authority, publishes no certificate and offers no verification link, and the authority itself runs no public licence lookup. The claim is therefore claimed and unconfirmed: nothing in this research established that licence BFX2024004 exists or is in force. No other licence is named anywhere on the site.
Is FundingPips Regulated?
No confirmed financial regulation was found for FundingPips. The only supervision it claims is an offshore Comoros authorisation that could not be confirmed, and an offshore licence of that class, even where it is genuine, carries no requirement to keep client money separate from company money, no compensation scheme and no independent complaints route. On the evidence the site provides, no onshore regulator stands behind a FundingPips account.
FundingPips Corp
FundingPips Corp is the company that would take the deposits, and two facts about it should be kept apart. Company number HY01223081 is a company registration: it records that a company exists in the Comoros Union and gives it no permission to hold client funds or deal in foreign exchange. The separate figure, BFX2024004, is the licence the company claims, and that is the one that would matter. The registration could not be corroborated on an official register, and no entity under this name or number appears on the global Legal Entity Identifier index maintained by GLEIF, which does carry other companies registered in the Comoros Union using the same number format. No directors, shareholders or officers are named anywhere on the site, and the Dubai office is given without a United Arab Emirates company or any local authorisation attached to it.
Is FundingPips Safe?
FundingPips cannot be shown to be safe on the material it publishes. Its regulatory standing is unconfirmed, its operating company could not be found on a register, and its customer agreement is a single fragment covering termination and liability, with unfilled cross references and no terms at all on client money, deposits, withdrawals, fees, complaints or governing law. Nothing on the site commits the company to holding client funds separately from its own. The AML policy does set out identity checks, and states that withdrawals are returned by the method they arrived on and to the account holder on file, that cash and third party deposits are refused, and that a withdrawal flagged as suspicious is held pending investigation.
FundingPips Account Types
Four accounts are advertised, separated by cost rather than by deposit size.
- Standard STP: no commission, spreads from 1.0 pip, offered as the entry account.
- ECN: 3.50 USD one way, spreads from 0.0 pip.
- ECN Plus: 2.50 USD one way, spreads from 0.0 pip, described as institutional grade liquidity.
- Islamic: 2.50 USD one way, spreads from 1.0 pip, held without swap charges.
The site sets no individual minimum deposit or leverage ceiling for any of the four, and publishes no account currencies, trade sizes, stop out level or margin call level.
FundingPips Spreads, Commissions and Fees
The minimum first deposit is 100 USD. Commissions are quoted as 3.50 USD one way on the ECN account and 2.50 USD one way on ECN Plus and Islamic, with none on Standard STP, but the site does not say what traded volume those figures apply to, which leaves the actual cost of a trade unstated. The spread claims are inconsistent: the homepage headline is 0.1 pip, the markets section says as low as 0 pips, and the account cards quote spreads from 0.0 or 1.0 pip depending on the tier. No swap, inactivity, deposit or withdrawal fee schedule is published anywhere on the site.
FundingPips Leverage
Leverage is advertised at up to 500:1 across the site, with no lower cap published for any account, instrument class or country.
FundingPips Trading Platforms
MetaTrader 5 is the only platform, offered for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android and through the MetaTrader web terminal. The downloads page links the standard installers published by the platform's developer rather than a FundingPips build, and no server name or account server address is given anywhere on the site, so a prospective client cannot see which server their account would sit on before opening one. The site states that expert advisors are allowed.
FundingPips Deposits and Withdrawals
FundingPips publishes no deposits and withdrawals page. Cards, cryptocurrency, the Indian UPI rail and African mobile and bank payment channels are recorded as available for funding and withdrawal, but no fee, minimum, maximum or processing time is published for any of them. The homepage advertises same day withdrawals and immediate funding in general terms, and the AML policy requires that money is returned by the same route it arrived on. Because the customer agreement sets out no withdrawal terms, the conditions under which money can be taken out are not knowable before a deposit is made.
FundingPips Support
Support is advertised as 24/5 and runs through one email address, info@fundingpips.net, and one telephone number. There is no live chat, help centre or client portal, the site is published only in English, and it links no social media accounts of any kind. The number printed in the footer, +971 45768545, differs from the number the footer's own dial link calls, so a caller may not reach the advertised line.
FundingPips Pros and Cons
- Pro: a named operating company, a company number, a registered address and a physical office address are all disclosed, which is more than many comparable sites give.
- Pro: a low 100 USD entry deposit, a commission free entry account and a swap free account are available, and MetaTrader 5 is offered across every major device.
- Con: the only licence claimed is an offshore Comoros authorisation that could not be confirmed, and no licence from an authority supervising retail foreign exchange in a major market is named.
- Con: the customer agreement is incomplete and silent on client money, deposits, withdrawals, fees and complaints.
- Con: commission figures are quoted without the volume they apply to, and the site's own spread claims contradict each other.
FundingPips Review and Assessment
FundingPips is best understood as an offshore brokerage whose core claims rest on its own word. The trading proposition it advertises is ordinary for the segment: MetaTrader 5, a 100 USD minimum, 500:1 leverage and four tiers priced on spread and commission. What is missing is everything that would let a client enforce it. The most important thing to settle before funding an account is the licence, because it is the single claim the whole offer rests on, it is repeated on every page as a reason to trust the firm, and it is the one claim the site gives a reader no way to check.
