Is Fx-k a scam?

Likely scamMEDIUM confidence
Updated August 15, 2026
Withdrawal trap / offshore fund confiscation

QuoMarkets (Fx-k) is a high risk offshore broker with a documented withdrawal-trap pattern, so we rate it a likely scam. It is a real brand of the Seychelles-licensed TradeQuo group, but the entity that holds your money is an unregulated Dominica shell, and multiple clients report being unable to get their funds back.

  • The company you actually contract with is TRADEQUOMARKETS LTD in Dominica, plus Quo Markets LLC in St Vincent. Neither is a regulated forex firm.
  • The 'QuoMarkets' brand is on the Seychelles FSA register under Trade Quo Global Ltd (licence SD140), but that record lists the website tradequo.com, not quomarkets.com, and Seychelles is a weak offshore regulator.
  • Clients report blocked withdrawals, being told to deposit more money to release funds, and then still being refused.
  • One complaint describes emails from [email protected] falsely implying law enforcement, and an offer to release money only if the client signed a gag order, deleted posts and accepted a lifetime ban.
  • A compliance watchdog placed QuoMarkets on a red list for soliciting UK and EEA clients it is not permitted to serve.

Risk scorecard

Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.

Worst area: Critical
SeverityLowModerateHighCritical

Regulation

6/10 · High

Genuine but low-tier Seychelles FSA licence (SD140) covers the QuoMarkets trade name, yet it names tradequo.com and the deposit entity is an unregulated Dominica/SVG shell soliciting restricted jurisdictions.

Identity & transparency

7/10 · High

Entities are disclosed, but the structure deliberately splits the licensed Seychelles entity from the Dominica/SVG deposit shell and a Cyprus payment agent, and an FBI-styled email address was used to intimidate a client.

Withdrawals & conduct

8/10 · Critical

Fund-integrity pattern across platforms: blocked withdrawals, extra documents, and clients told to deposit more to release funds then still refused. That advance-fee demand is the most incriminating complaint type.

Reputation

7/10 · High

A compliance watchdog red-listed it and independent complaint sites document intimidation and withdrawal blocking; an inflated 97 percent five-star Trustpilot profile does not offset this.

Website claims

7/10 · High

Presents Dominica and SVG company registrations as 'licences', promotes 'instant withdrawals' and self-awarded titles and unverified 'audited proof of reserves', contradicted by client experience.

Operational history

5/10 · Moderate

The QuoMarkets site dates from 2022 and the deposit entities from 2023 to 2024, a short, unproven track record for a firm marketing itself as an established group.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We reached 'likely scam' because of how clients are treated when they try to withdraw, not because the brand is fake.

  • The money is held by unregulated shells. QuoMarkets' own footer says the site is operated by TRADEQUOMARKETS LTD in Dominica under 'Licence no 2023/C0010-0001', and by Quo Markets LLC in St Vincent under 'FSA 3171 LLC 2024'. These are company registrations, not trading licences. Dominica and St Vincent do not license or supervise forex brokers.
  • The genuine licence belongs elsewhere. The Seychelles FSA register confirms Securities Dealer SD140 for Trade Quo Global Ltd, listed with the trade name QuoMarkets and the website tradequo.com. That is a real but low-tier offshore licence, and it names a different website and entity from the one that takes quomarkets.com deposits.
  • Advance-fee withdrawal trap. Clients report their withdrawals were blocked, that they were asked for extra documents not in the client agreement, and that some deposited more money by crypto to meet the broker's conditions, only to be refused again. A demand to pay more before funds are released is the single most incriminating pattern in this field.
  • Intimidation. A complainant received emails from [email protected] implying law enforcement, and was offered a 'final chance' to withdraw only if he deleted public posts, signed a gag order and accepted a lifetime ban.
  • A watchdog red list. A compliance monitor flagged QuoMarkets for targeting UK and EEA traders without permission, using a St Vincent company and a Cyprus payment agent.
  • Reviews do not add up. Its Trustpilot profile shows about 4,000 reviews at 97 percent five-star on a paid subscription, alongside a self-declared 'Fastest Withdrawal Broker 2026' award, while serious fund-access complaints sit on other platforms. That mix points to review inflation, not a clean record.

Note on operating history: the 9.3-year track record rests on domain registration alone. No company incorporation date could be established, so this is an upper bound rather than a confirmed age.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

In fairness, this is not a pure fake, and several points cut in the broker's favour.

  • QuoMarkets is a genuine trade name of a licensed group. The Seychelles FSA register really does list Trade Quo Global Ltd (SD140) with 'QuoMarkets' as an authorised trade name, so it is not impersonating an unrelated company.
  • The wider group also holds a South African FSCA licence (FSP 54827) and a UAE SCA registration, and it discloses its entities and addresses rather than hiding them.
  • Offshore licensing and aggressive marketing are not, by themselves, proof of fraud. Many real brokers operate this way.
  • The most detailed abuse complaints appear to stem from a limited number of cases that spread across several review sites, and competitors do plant fake accusations, so the exact scale of harm is not fully proven.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

Our view would move if the facts changed in these ways.

  • Toward safer: the Seychelles FSA register (or the broker's own client agreement) listing quomarkets.com under a licensed entity, plus a run of verified, specific withdrawal-success reports from independent traders.
  • Toward safer: the withdrawal complaints being shown to be resolved, with funds returned and no extra-payment or gag-order demands.
  • Toward worse (confirmed scam): a government regulator warning naming quomarkets.com or fx-k.com, a Seychelles FSA action against the licence, or several new independent victims documenting the same deposit-more-to-withdraw pattern with amounts and dates.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

12 questions
Is QuoMarkets (Fx-k) a scam?

We rate it a likely scam. It is a real brand of the Seychelles-licensed TradeQuo group, but the company that holds your deposits is an unregulated Dominica shell, and several clients report blocked withdrawals and demands to pay more before funds are released.

Is QuoMarkets regulated?

Only weakly. The 'QuoMarkets' trade name sits on the Seychelles FSA register under Trade Quo Global Ltd, licence SD140, but that record names the website tradequo.com. The entity behind quomarkets.com, TRADEQUOMARKETS LTD in Dominica, is not a regulated forex firm.

Can I withdraw my money from QuoMarkets?

Multiple clients say no. Reports describe withdrawals being blocked, extra documents demanded, and clients told to deposit more money to release funds, then still refused. Treat withdrawal as uncertain and stop depositing.

Is my money safe with QuoMarkets?

There is little real protection. Your funds are held by offshore companies in Dominica and St Vincent that no serious regulator supervises, and there is no compensation scheme. The Seychelles licence covers a sister entity, not the deposit shell.

Who owns QuoMarkets?

It is part of the TradeQuo group. The Seychelles FSA register lists Przemyslaw Czerka as director of the licensed entity Trade Quo Global Ltd, and a Cyprus company, TQBG Ltd, acts as payment agent.

How old is QuoMarkets?

The quomarkets.com website was registered in October 2022, and the Dominica and St Vincent deposit companies date from 2023 and 2024. It is a young operation despite marketing that suggests an established group.

What is the Seychelles FSA SD140 licence worth?

It is a low-tier offshore licence. Seychelles supervision is far weaker than the UK FCA or Australia's ASIC, and here the licence names the website tradequo.com rather than quomarkets.com, so it gives quomarkets.com clients little practical protection.

Is QuoMarkets a clone of another broker?

No. It is a genuine trade name of the TradeQuo group, confirmed on the Seychelles register, not an impersonation of an unrelated firm. The risk here is conduct, not identity theft.

Why does QuoMarkets have so many five-star reviews?

Its Trustpilot profile shows about 4,000 reviews at 97 percent five-star on a paid subscription, next to a self-declared 'Fastest Withdrawal Broker 2026' award. A flood of top ratings alongside serious withdrawal complaints elsewhere points to review inflation, not a clean record.

What is the [email protected] email about?

A complainant reported receiving emails from that address that falsely implied law enforcement, used to pressure him into deleting reviews and signing a gag order before any withdrawal. That is intimidation, not a real agency.

What should I do if QuoMarkets scammed me?

Do not pay any further fee or deposit to release funds. Keep all records, request a written withdrawal, and report it to your bank or card provider and to your national regulator, plus the Seychelles FSA. Avoid anyone offering paid fund recovery.

What should I check before depositing with any broker like this?

Confirm the exact entity in the client agreement, check it on a top-tier regulator's own register, verify the website is the one named on that register, and search for withdrawal complaints on independent platforms before sending money.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Treat QuoMarkets and Fx-k as high risk and do not deposit.

  • If you have funds there, request a full withdrawal in writing now and keep every message and transaction record.
  • Do not pay any 'tax', 'fee' or extra deposit to release your balance. That demand is itself the trap.
  • Ignore any email implying law enforcement or any pressure to sign a gag order or delete your reviews.
  • If you cannot withdraw, report it to your card issuer or bank and to the regulator in your own country, and to the Seychelles FSA regarding the SD140 licence holder.
  • Be wary of anyone who contacts you offering to recover your money for an upfront fee. That is a common follow-up scam.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
