Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
7/10 · HighNo trading licence anywhere; only a Saint Lucia company number and a cancelled St. Vincent registration, plus a false 'multi-regulated' claim, and the Reserve Bank of India lists the domain as unauthorised.
Identity & transparency
6/10 · HighA real entity and offices are disclosed, but the operator is a 2024 offshore shell, the 'multi-regulated' claim is false, and both the website and the client portal are now unreachable.
Withdrawals & conduct
6/10 · HighMultiple fund-integrity reports (withdrawals held for months or refused, accounts blocked, 5 to 10 percent 'admin charges' on profits) with no company resolution, though the confirmed volume is modest.
Reputation
7/10 · HighA central-bank warning, several 'scam' write-ups, and a small, polarised Trustpilot profile; the positive reviews do not offset the fund-access complaints.
Website claims
8/10 · CriticalGrandiose, unverifiable claims ('largest online forex platform', '30,573+ customers') and, above all, a false claim to be regulated by multiple authorities.
Operational history
7/10 · HighThe domain dates to 2021 and the site to 2022, but the operating company is a 2024 incorporation and the whole operation has now gone offline.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
We rate FX SmartBull a likely scam because several independent red flags line up and its site has now gone dark.
- No licence anywhere. We looked for a financial licence and found none. The only registration is a Saint Lucia company number (2024/00091), which is a company record, not permission to run a brokerage, and Saint Lucia does not regulate forex.
- A false regulation claim. The homepage described the firm as 'Multi-regulated' and 'regulated by multiple regulatory authorities across the globe'. No regulator and no licence number were given, and none exists.
- A central-bank warning. The Reserve Bank of India lists fxsmartbull.com as an unauthorised forex platform (entry 62). This list also names some mainstream brokers, so on its own it means 'not permitted to take Indian clients' rather than 'fraud'; the difference here is that FX SmartBull holds no licence at all.
- Money not coming back. Reviewers describe withdrawals held for months, refused for what they call non-existent reasons, accounts blocked, and 5% to 10% 'admin charges' taken from profits before payout. One account describes delays pushed past six months so a card chargeback can no longer be filed.
- The operation has gone dark. fxsmartbull.com now serves a blank hosting placeholder, and the client login at secure.fxsmartbull.com does not respond. A broker that disappears while holding client money is the worst outcome for depositors.
- A new operator on an older domain. The domain dates to 2021 and the site launched in 2022, but the company that runs it today was only incorporated in Saint Lucia in 2024. A brand that reads as established is in fact run by a young offshore shell.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The Reserve Bank of India lists FX SmartBull (https://www.fxsmartbull.com) as entry 62 among entities not authorised to deal in forex or run trading platforms for residents of India.
E2The homepage described FX SmartBull as 'Multi-regulated' and 'regulated by multiple regulatory authorities across the globe', while naming no regulator and no licence number and disclosing only a Saint Lucia company registration.
E3The site's own risk disclosure states it is operated by FX-SmartBull Limited under Saint Lucia registration no. 2024/00091, a company registration rather than a financial licence; it also advertised a Dubai office and UAE phone numbers.
E4Trustpilot reviews report withdrawals held for months and refused, accounts blocked, and 5 to 10 percent 'admin charges' taken from profits before payout; the distribution is polarised (56 percent five-star, 33 percent one-star) with no company responses.
E5The live website no longer serves a trading platform; fxsmartbull.com returns a default hosting placeholder page.
ModerateFX SmartBull live websiteE6The client login and trading portal at secure.fxsmartbull.com does not respond; its origin server is unreachable.
ModerateFX SmartBull client login portalE7The domain fxsmartbull.com was registered on 24 November 2021 through GoDaddy and now uses Cloudflare nameservers; archived snapshots show the broker site was live from late 2022 to early 2026.
E8FX SmartBull ran a genuine MetaTrader 5 server (FXSmartBull-Live) and holds some positive customer reviews, indicating a functioning platform rather than a pure phishing front.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
In fairness, here is the other side.
- FX SmartBull disclosed a real legal entity, a registration number and office addresses, and it ran a genuine MetaTrader 5 server for several years. That is more infrastructure than a pure phishing front usually has.
- Some users left positive reviews describing good service and profitable trading.
- The Reserve Bank of India Alert List also contains many well-regulated, mainstream brokers, so appearing on it reflects Indian authorisation rules and is not by itself proof of wrongdoing.
- The number of withdrawal complaints we could confirm is modest, and no court or regulator has made a fraud finding against the company.
- Saint Lucia's company registry is not open to public search, so the 2024 incorporation date rests on the registration number the company itself publishes.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
Evidence that would move this assessment:
- A genuine trading licence from a recognised regulator, with that regulator's own register showing fxsmartbull.com and FX-SmartBull Limited, would change the regulation picture toward legitimate.
- Removal of fxsmartbull.com from the Reserve Bank of India Alert List.
- The website and client portal returning online with a working withdrawal process and documented, verifiable payouts at scale.
- A clear, independent record of clients being paid in full and on time.
By contrast, a regulator enforcement action or a court fraud finding would push this to a confirmed scam.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is FX SmartBull a scam?
We rate FX SmartBull a likely scam and a high-risk broker. It has no financial licence, the Reserve Bank of India lists its website as unauthorised, several clients report blocked or delayed withdrawals, and both its website and client portal are now offline. We would not deposit money with it.
Is FX SmartBull a fraud?
We have not seen a court or regulator label FX SmartBull a fraud in those words. What we can say is that it operates with no financial licence, the Reserve Bank of India lists it as unauthorised, and clients report deposits taken and withdrawals then refused or delayed for months. On that basis we assess the risk of fraud as high.
Is FX SmartBull regulated?
No. FX SmartBull holds no forex or financial licence from any recognised regulator. Its only registration is a Saint Lucia company number (2024/00091), which is a company record, not a trading licence, and Saint Lucia does not regulate forex. A St. Vincent registration it once advertised has reportedly been cancelled.
Can I withdraw my money from FX SmartBull?
Many users report they could not. Complaints describe withdrawals held for months, refused for unclear reasons, accounts blocked, and 5% to 10% 'admin charges' taken from profits before payout. The client portal is also currently offline, which makes access even harder. Try to withdraw in writing and pursue a chargeback if possible.
Is my money safe with FX SmartBull?
No. With no regulator overseeing the firm, there is no compensation scheme and no authority to complain to that can compel a refund. Client funds are not protected. Given the withdrawal complaints and the site going offline, treat any money held there as at serious risk.
Who owns FX SmartBull?
The website is operated by FX-SmartBull Limited, a company registered in Saint Lucia (number 2024/00091), with a registered office in Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia. The site also advertised an office in Dubai. No named individuals or beneficial owners are disclosed.
What is a Saint Lucia registration worth for a forex broker?
Very little in terms of protection. It is a company registration, not a financial licence, and Saint Lucia does not regulate or supervise forex brokers. It tells you the company exists on paper, not that anyone is checking how it handles your money.
Why is FX SmartBull on the Reserve Bank of India Alert List?
The Reserve Bank of India lists entities that are not authorised to deal in forex or run trading platforms for Indian residents. FX SmartBull (fxsmartbull.com) appears as entry 62. The list includes some mainstream brokers too, so it signals 'not authorised in India' rather than proven fraud, but FX SmartBull compounds it by having no licence anywhere.
Is the FX SmartBull website down?
Yes. At the time of writing, fxsmartbull.com returns a blank hosting placeholder instead of a trading site, and the client login at secure.fxsmartbull.com does not respond. A broker whose site and login portal vanish while it may still hold client deposits is a serious warning sign.
What are VitnixX AI and Trade AI on FX SmartBull?
These were automated or 'AI' trading products the broker promoted. Multiple reviewers allege they were not real trading (a B-book with no genuine market execution) and that the firm took 5% to 10% charges from claimed profits while refusing withdrawals. Treat such 'guaranteed' AI trading claims with strong caution.
What should I do if FX SmartBull will not let me withdraw?
Put your withdrawal request in writing and keep records. If you paid by card or bank transfer, contact your bank quickly about a chargeback or recall, since those windows close over time. Report the case to your national financial regulator. Do not pay any extra 'tax', 'fee' or 'admin charge' demanded to release funds, as that is a common trap.
How old is FX SmartBull?
The domain was registered in 2021 and the website has operated since 2022, but the company that runs it now, FX-SmartBull Limited, was only incorporated in Saint Lucia in 2024. So the operating business is younger than the website suggests, and it has now gone offline.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Our advice:
- Do not deposit money with FX SmartBull.
- If you already hold funds there, request a full withdrawal in writing now and keep copies of everything.
- If you paid by card or bank transfer, contact your bank about a chargeback or recall as soon as possible, because these windows close with time.
- Report your case to your national financial regulator; if you are in India, note the Reserve Bank of India Alert List entry.
- Be wary of anyone who contacts you offering to 'recover' your funds for an upfront fee. That is a common follow-up scam.
