Mwali International Services Authority
Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
This is a high-risk rating built on what could not be established, not on proven wrongdoing.
- The licence is unverifiable at source. We read the Mwali authority's authorised brokerage register in full: 258 entities, the newest issued on 24 December 2024. It holds no licence in the 2025 series and no entry for Fxverge Ltd. A second mirror of the same register carries an identical list. The register simply does not publish the year this licence claims, so its absence is a gap rather than proof the number is invented.
- Even a genuine Mwali licence buys the client very little. The Central Bank of the Comoros stated on 15 June 2022 that approvals delivered by island bodies, including this authority, have no legal effect within the Union of the Comoros for banking or financial-institution activity. There is no compensation scheme and no realistic dispute route.
- It solicits Japanese residents without Japanese registration. The site publishes a Japanese edition and a Japanese phone number, and Japan is not on its restricted list. Japan requires registration to offer this business to residents, and FXverge holds none.
- The operation is about sixteen months old. fxverge.com was registered on 6 May 2025. Through July and August 2024 the same address served only a parked holding page, so there is no earlier trading history behind it and no predecessor brand.
- The complaint picture is serious but single-sourced. One reviewer, on 25 August 2026, describes being told their margin was insufficient and being asked to send several hundred thousand yen more before a withdrawal would be paid. A demand for extra payment to release funds is the most incriminating pattern there is, so we weighed it carefully. It appears once, on one platform. The Japanese commentary that repeats it quotes that same review rather than adding independent accounts, and those sites run paid recovery-consultation funnels, which is a reason for care in both directions. On the same platform five other clients report withdrawals that were actually paid.
- Because the track record is under three years, the published figure is lifted to 65 percent. The evidence on its own supported about 63. We apply the higher figure because a young operation with a thin public record is exactly the case where finding nothing means least. It is not a finding of misconduct.
The age figure is an upper bound: Moheli publishes no public company registry search, so Fxverge Ltd could not be independently dated and the calculation rests on the domain alone.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The Mwali authority's authorised brokerage register holds 258 entities, the newest issued 24 December 2024. It contains no licence in the 2025 series and no entry for Fxverge Ltd, so BFX2025073 can be neither confirmed nor refuted there.
E2A second mirror of the same register carries an identical list ending on the same December 2024 entry, confirming the register itself is not maintained rather than that this broker was removed from it.
E3FXverge states on its own site that Fxverge Ltd is registered in Mwali with number HV00725464 and is authorised and regulated by the Mwali International Services Authority under licence BFX2025073.
ModerateFXverge company information pageE4The Central Bank of the Comoros stated on 15 June 2022 that approvals delivered by island bodies, including this authority, have no legal effect within the Union of the Comoros for banking or financial-institution activities.
E5The domain fxverge.com was created on 6 May 2025, giving the operation a track record of roughly sixteen months at the time of writing.
E6Archived copies from July and August 2024 show the same address serving only a parked holding page, confirming there is no earlier trading history or predecessor brand behind the domain.
E7The site publishes a Japanese edition and a Japanese telephone number and excludes the European Economic Area, the United States, British Columbia, Iran, North Korea, Myanmar and Russia, but not Japan, while holding no Japanese registration.
E8Japan's Financial Services Agency list of operators conducting financial instruments business without registration, 1,154 entries and updated on 27 August 2026, contains no entry for FXverge, Fxverge Ltd or fxverge.com.
E9The FSA's separate list of overseas unregistered operators issued warning letters also returns no match for this broker, so the claim circulating in Japanese commentary that FXverge has been warned by the FSA is not supported by the FSA's own records.
E10Trustpilot shows seven reviews averaging 3.9 out of 5. Five describe completed withdrawals, including USDT arriving in about fifteen minutes and 500 dollars returned to a card. One review dated 25 August 2026 alleges that an insufficient-margin excuse was used to demand a further payment before a withdrawal would be released.
E11Japanese commentary describing the additional-payment allegation quotes the same single review rather than presenting independent accounts, and the sites carrying it operate paid recovery-consultation funnels, so the pattern remains unconfirmed.
E12A United States public alert from 5 June 2024 names a similarly titled operation at apexfxverge.com with a New York address. That is a different website and a different operation, and none of its record attaches to this broker.
E13The broker advertises more than 300 instruments, leverage up to 1:400, a 250 dollar minimum deposit and zero commission, and publishes no founding year, client numbers or awards, so there is no history claim to contradict.

The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
Several things point the other way, and a fair report has to say so.
- No regulator anywhere has warned against it. We checked Japan's Financial Services Agency list of unregistered operators, all 1,154 entries, updated on 27 August 2026. FXverge is not on it. That matters, because the Japanese commentary asserting an FSA warning is not supported by the FSA's own published list.
- Clients do get paid. Of seven public reviews, five report completed withdrawals, including USDT arriving in roughly fifteen minutes and 500 dollars returned to a card. Systematic withdrawal theft does not usually look like that.
- It does not lie about its history. Many high-risk brokers advertise a decade of experience on a new domain. FXverge claims no founding year, no client numbers and no awards. We found no fabricated credentials, no fake press logos and no guaranteed-profit language.
- The disclosure is better than average for this tier. The legal entity, company registration number, licence number, registered address, telephone number and a full set of legal documents are all published and consistent across the site.
- It is not a clone. It does not borrow another firm's name, licence number or registered identity. A United States alert exists for a similarly named operation at apexfxverge.com, issued in June 2024, but that is a different website and a different operation, and nothing from it belongs to this broker.
- Offshore is a risk tier, not a verdict. Hundreds of real brokers hold only weak offshore licences.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
This rating is provisional and several specific things would move it.
- Downward: the Mwali authority updating its published broker register to show BFX2025073 issued to Fxverge Ltd and in force, which would make the licence real rather than merely asserted.
- Downward: a further twelve to twenty-four months of trading with a broader payout record across more than one independent platform, which would replace a thin footprint with an actual track record.
- Downward: an independently confirmed company registration for HV00725464 and a verifiable operating office.
- Upward, sharply: a second and third independent account of clients being asked to pay anything at all before a withdrawal is released. One credible, specific instance of that pattern, with amounts and dates, would be enough on its own.
- Upward, sharply: any regulator naming fxverge.com, in Japan or elsewhere.
- Upward: evidence that funds are routed to personal wallet addresses rather than to a company account, which some Japanese commentary alleges but which we could not confirm.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is FXverge a scam?
We cannot call it a scam, and we do not. No regulator has warned against it and several clients confirm they were paid. We rate it high risk at 65 percent because its only licence cannot be confirmed, the company is about sixteen months old, and one client reports being asked for more money before a withdrawal would be released.
Is FXverge a fraud?
We found no evidence of fraud. There is no regulator warning, no enforcement action and no fraud-related court record naming Fxverge Ltd or fxverge.com. That is not the same as a clean bill of health: a young broker with an unverifiable licence simply has too little history to be called safe.
Is FXverge regulated?
It claims a licence from the Mwali International Services Authority in the Comoros, number BFX2025073. We read that authority's published broker register and it lists nothing from 2025 and no entry for Fxverge Ltd, so the claim could not be confirmed. It holds no licence from any major regulator.
What is a MISA licence actually worth?
Very little. The Central Bank of the Comoros stated in June 2022 that approvals issued by island bodies, including this authority, have no legal effect for banking or financial-institution activity. There is no compensation scheme, no enforcement and no meaningful dispute process behind it.
Can I withdraw my money from FXverge?
Some clients say yes. Five of the seven public reviews describe completed withdrawals, including USDT within about fifteen minutes and 500 dollars returned to a card. One reviewer says they were told their margin was insufficient and asked to send more money first. Withdraw a small amount and confirm it arrives before depositing more.
Is my money safe with FXverge?
It is not protected in the way it would be at a regulated broker. There is no investor compensation scheme, no confirmed licence and no regulator you can escalate to. If the company stopped paying, you would have no practical recovery route.
Who owns FXverge?
The site names Fxverge Ltd, registered on Mwali (Moheli) island in the Comoros with registration number HV00725464. No directors, shareholders or beneficial owners are published, and Moheli operates no public company registry search, so ownership could not be independently confirmed.
How old is FXverge?
About sixteen months. The domain fxverge.com was registered on 6 May 2025. It had served only a parked holding page during 2024. The company itself could not be dated because there is no public registry search, so sixteen months is an upper bound rather than a confirmed figure.
Is FXverge a clone of another broker?
No. It does not use another company's name, licence number, registration number or address. A United States alert from June 2024 names a similarly titled operation at apexfxverge.com, but that is a different website and a different operation, and it has no bearing on this broker.
Is FXverge registered in Japan?
No. It runs a Japanese version of its site and lists a Japanese telephone number, and Japan is missing from its restricted-countries list, yet it holds no Japanese registration. It is also not on the Japan FSA list of unregistered operators that have been issued warnings, which we checked in full.
What should I do if FXverge asks me to pay a fee to withdraw?
Stop paying immediately. A demand for extra money as margin, tax, insurance or a release fee before your own balance is returned has no legitimate basis. Save all records, request the withdrawal in writing, contact your bank or card issuer, and report it to your national regulator and the police.
What should I check before depositing with any broker?
Find the licence number on the regulator's own register, not on the broker's website. Check the domain registration date against the history the broker claims. Read the one-star reviews for withdrawal complaints rather than the five-star ones. Confirm that the entity holding your money is the one named on the licence.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat FXverge as high risk and unproven rather than as a known scam.
- Do not deposit money you cannot afford to lose. The only licence on offer gives you no compensation scheme and no practical way to force a payout.
- If you are asked to pay anything to release a withdrawal, stop. Margin, tax, insurance, verification or release fees are never legitimate preconditions for returning your own balance. Paying more is how a recoverable loss becomes a total one.
- Test small first. If you are already trading, withdraw a modest amount and confirm it arrives before adding funds. Treat a first successful payout as a starting point, not as proof of safety.
- Keep records. Save deposit receipts, wallet addresses, transaction hashes, withdrawal requests, chat logs and screenshots of your balance.
- Japanese residents should note that FXverge holds no registration in Japan, so the domestic complaint and compensation routes are not available.
- If you cannot withdraw, raise a formal written complaint, contact your bank or card issuer about a chargeback, and report the matter to your national financial regulator and police. Be wary of firms that approach you offering to recover funds for an upfront fee.
