What GENETRADE legally published, but does not want you to read

Every clause below is published by GENETRADE itself, on its own website, today. The finding is not that the text exists. It is the distance between what a client is shown and what a client agreed to. Read from its own documents on .

Contracting entity: Genius Trading Ltd

GENETRADE is Genius Trading Ltd, registered in Belize. Its English footer says it does not solicit citizens of Japan, while its Japanese pages sell a yen bonus to new Japanese clients. The deposit page promises segregated accounts, and clause 7 lets the firm commingle your money and pledge it for a loan to itself. Any withdrawal request deletes every bonus credit, approved or refused. You then get three business days to complain before your silence counts as consent.

What the documents say

23 clauses worth knowing about, worst first, each quoted from GENETRADE's own files

01

GENETRADE tells English readers it does not solicit citizens of Japan, South Korea or Thailand. The same footer sentence in Japanese names only the United States, Europe and sanctioned countries. The Japanese pages then offer you a yen bonus for opening a real account.

Why this matters

If you are in Japan, the firm has written down that it does not solicit you. That sentence becomes its answer when you ask anyone for help later. You will not find it on the Japanese pages that sold you the account.

Exhibit 1CriticalRarely seen

Restricted Regions: Genius Trading LTD does not solicit citizens of certain jurisdictions, such as South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and others. Furthermore, the company does not provide services to citizens of the United States of America, Europe and Sanctioned Countries.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 4The bonus that brings a Japanese client in is the same bonus that one withdrawal request deletes.
02

The deposit page tells you all client funds sit in segregated accounts at leading banks. Clause 7 of the Terms lets GENETRADE commingle your money and pledge it as collateral for a loan to itself. No legal document here promises segregation at all.

Why this matters

Money that has been commingled is money nobody can hand back to you as yours. You would be an ordinary creditor of a Belize company, and the risk disclosure already says you must look only to GeneTrade for the return of your collateral.

Exhibit 2CriticalHarder than usual

Where it sits: section 38 of 107 in the Account Funding, 36% of the way through.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus), ASIC (Australia)

Firms licensed by the FCA, CySEC or ASIC must hold retail client money in segregated client accounts and may not use it in their own business. This contract takes the opposite power: it lets the firm commingle client collateral and pledge it for a loan to itself.

GENETRADE is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 14The firm that may lend out your collateral is also the counterparty that profits when your trade loses.
  • Worse together with Exhibit 22No document names a compensation scheme, so there is nothing behind the money the firm may pledge.
03

GENETRADE can declare all your trades and all your profit invalid on suspicion alone. Clause 5 names arbitrage, scalping, misuse and any pattern it reads as chasing gains without market risk. Its decision is final and it will not correspond with you about it.

Why this matters

Your deposit comes back minus the deposit and withdrawal fees, and everything you earned above it is cancelled. You cannot argue the point, because the contract says no correspondence will be entered into.

Exhibit 3CriticalHarder than usual

If GENETRADE suspects any type of arbitrage (and also obtaining gains risk free), misuse (and concluding from the trading activities of any involved participant that they prioritise financial gains by avoiding getting exposed to market trading risks), inner equivocation with the help of other entities, exploitation of our “no negative balance” rule, scam, cash-back arbitrage or other types of malicious doings, then the all gains, losses, and transactions experienced would be nullified.

04

A 20% deposit bonus is advertised across the site, with the promise that you can withdraw all your profits. Ask to withdraw any amount and GENETRADE removes every credit it has given you. The Japanese bonus page says this happens whether your request is approved or refused.

Why this matters

The firm's own example is blunt: 5,000 yen of bonus and 20,000 yen of profit show as 25,000 yen, and a request for 1,000 yen leaves 19,000 yen. You pay for asking, even when the answer is no.

The Trading Conditions page lists negative balance protection as a feature, and the Japanese page calls it a zero cut system. Clause 9 makes you liable for a deficit balance when it comes from a weekend or holiday gap. That is the one moment a retail account actually goes negative.

In plain words

Negative balance protection is a limit that stops you owing more than you put in. Without it, one fast market move can leave you owing the broker money on top of your deposit.

Why this matters

A gap over a weekend can leave you owing GENETRADE more than you ever deposited. The contract then adds its collection costs, its lawyers' fees and interest at 3 percentage points above its own bank's prime rate.

Set against a regulated standard: ESMA (EU), FCA (UK), ASIC (Australia)

Firms licensed under ESMA rules, by the FCA or by ASIC must give retail clients negative balance protection, so a client cannot lose more than the account holds. GENETRADE advertises the protection as a feature and then makes you liable for a weekend or holiday deficit.

GENETRADE is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 15Leverage up to 1:1000 with no margin call is what turns a weekend gap into a debt.
06

GENETRADE reserves the right to impose withdrawal limits and withdrawal fees in its systems at any time. Clause 11 lets it decline your request, or hold it while it is not satisfied with the documents you sent. Nothing sets an outer limit on that hold.

Why this matters

The withdrawals page promises 24 working hours, clause 11 says one Business Day, and the trading policies require a minimum of two Business Days. Every one of those clocks starts only after the firm has approved your request.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA or CySEC must return retail client money promptly on request and must disclose the cost of doing so before you trade. This contract keeps the right to add withdrawal limits and withdrawal fees at any time.

GENETRADE is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Only applies after Exhibit 13The hold runs on documents, so the paperwork clause is what keeps the money in place.
  • Worse together with Exhibit 12Once the firm picks the method and the currency, it also disclaims the rate it pays you at.

Suspicion is enough for GENETRADE to cancel what you earned

Three clauses let GENETRADE void your profit without proving anything. Clause 5 nullifies all gains where it suspects arbitrage, abuse or misuse, and its decision is final with no correspondence. A matching IP address is enough to make two clients Related Parties, void both sets of profit and close every linked account.

Profit voiding2 clauses flagged

GENETRADE treats clients as Related Parties when their registration or trading data matches, including an IP address. It then disqualifies them, voids their profits and losses, and closes every related account.

In plain words

Jointly and severally liable means each person can be made to pay the whole amount alone. If the broker treats two accounts as linked, it can ask either holder for all of it, not half each.

Why this matters

A home connection, an office or a mobile network gives several people the same address. If the firm links your account to somebody else's, your profit goes when theirs goes and your account closes with theirs.

Exhibit 8CriticalRarely seen

Participants who are family members and/or with registration information and/or trading data that matches other Participants’ data, including but not limited to IP Address, are considered to be Related Parties and will immediately be disqualified, nullifying any Profits or Losses, and resulting to the Closure of all related Accounts.

The Terms ban any software GENETRADE finds applies artificial intelligence to its platform. If it decides you used some, it can close your account, take every profit made with it and add charges on top. GENETRADE alone decides what counts.

Why this matters

The same firm advertises a free VPS as perfect for traders who use Expert Advisors. An Expert Advisor is automated software, and nothing in the contract tells you where automation ends and artificial intelligence begins.

Exhibit 9WarningRarely seen

We disallow the use of a software that is found to apply any kind of artificial intelligence to our Online Trading Facility and/or our computer systems for the sole reason to obtain an upper hand and reap the benefits of our trading facility

Three business days, counted from the event, and then silence is consent

GENETRADE gives you three business days to complain in writing, and 24 hours for an error on a statement. Both clocks start when the event happens, not when you notice it. Miss them and the policy treats you as having ratified everything the firm did, and confirmations become conclusive two business days after they are sent.

Complaint deadlines2 clauses flagged

You get three business days to complain in writing, counted from the day the event happened, and 24 hours for an error on a statement. Miss either deadline and the policy treats your silence as agreement to everything GENETRADE did.

Why this matters

The clock runs from the event, not from the day you notice it. A trade you query a week later is already closed to you. The Japanese translation of this rule is garbled, so it warns nobody.

Exhibit 7CriticalHarder than usual3 working days

All other complaints must be reported to us, in writing, within three (3) business days from the occurrence of the event that gives rise to your complaint (for the purposes hereof, unless the context requires otherwise, “business days” are Monday through Friday, excluding bank holidays in Belize).

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA have to accept a complaint for years after the event and must point the client to an independent ombudsman. CySEC firms must acknowledge within five business days and answer within two months. This policy gives you three business days before your silence counts as consent.

GENETRADE is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 19Statements count as received whether you open them or not, and the complaint clock starts anyway.

Order confirmations and account statements are deemed correct and binding two business days after they are sent, or at once for orders confirmed online. A statement counts as received when GENETRADE makes it available, whether you opened it or not.

Why this matters

Notices the firm sends are effective when it sends them, received or not. Notices you send are not effective until the firm accepts them. A missed email is entirely your problem.

Exhibit 19WarningHarder than usual2 working days

Cost disclosure3 clauses flagged

GENETRADE charges no brokerage fee today and reserves the right to change its fee structure at any time without notice. The trading policies put all banking fees on your account at the firm's discretion. Nothing obliges it to tell you first.

GENETRADE is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

Clause 4 allows extra pips to be added to the prices you see, at the direction of whoever introduced you, plus a per trade or per lot commission. The public pages advertise spreads as low as 1 pip and no commissions.

Why this matters

The markup is set by a third party, and no cap on it appears anywhere in the document set. You pay it inside the price on every trade, so no line on any statement ever shows it.

Exhibit 11WarningHarder than usual

In addition, these Bid and/ or Ask Prices may reflect, at the direction of any Introducing Broker, additional pips added to the BID and/or ASK price that may result in an increase of the dealable spread available for the Customer’s account as well as a per trade or per lot commission and/or fees.

If GENETRADE cannot return money the way it came, it may pay you by a method it chooses, in any currency it deems fit. It takes no responsibility for the exchange rate or for the receiving bank's charges. You also agree to pay the transfer fees.

Why this matters

A conversion you did not ask for, at a rate nobody has to show you, is a cost taken straight out of the amount you receive. The risk disclosure lets the firm set that rate in its sole discretion.

GENETRADE can end the agreement the same day it writes to you, while your own exit needs its acceptance. It can also move funds between your accounts without asking and change margin on 1:1000 leverage without notice.

Unilateral control4 clauses flagged

GENETRADE advertises leverage up to 1:1000. Its trading policies let it change margin requirements at any time in its sole discretion, without prior notice. It does not make margin calls in the ordinary course of business and may liquidate your positions whenever the minimum is not met.

Why this matters

A margin change you were never told about can put your open positions under water the same day. The firm keeps the right to close them and no duty to, so the loss can run further before anything happens.

GENETRADE is the market maker on your trades. Its own disclosure says it may make more money if the market goes against you, and that the prices it offers might not be the best available. The account types page says you trade with no interference from a dealing desk.

In plain words

On a principal basis, as your counterparty, means the broker takes the other side of your trade itself. Your loss is then the firm’s gain, so it has an interest in how your trade ends.

Why this matters

The firm that quotes your price, values your position and decides your margin is also the firm that gains when you lose. Clause 5 lets it move an account off streaming quotes and require its own approval for every later order.

The company registration number also changed, from 150.338 to 5635. Four legal documents are published, and none of them names a compensation scheme or promises that client money is segregated.

Who you contract with2 clauses flagged

The English pages say Genius Trading Ltd holds licence number 6858604 from the Financial Services Commission. The Japanese pages, live today, say licence number 270/30. The firm's own footers give two different registered addresses in Belize City.

Why this matters

You cannot check a licence that the firm states two ways. Its company registration number also changed, from 150.338 to 5635, and the Japanese pages still carry the old licence number.

This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions governing your Account at Genius Trading Ltd, (“GENETRADE”), a Belize registered company under company number 5635 (28 Regent Street, Belize City, Belize.), regulated by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) under License Number 6858604.

GENETRADE publishes four legal documents: Terms & Conditions, a Risk Disclosure Statement, a Privacy Policy and a complaints procedure. There are no payment terms, no bonus terms and no execution policy, though the Trading Conditions page advertises one. The withdrawal and bonus rules live on marketing pages.

Why this matters

A rule on a marketing page carries no version and no date, and the firm can rewrite it tonight. The same deposit bonus is advertised at 20% on most pages and at 50% on the sign in page.

The documents this reading is based on

18 files, all published by GENETRADE. Each shows when we read it and a fingerprint of its wording.

WIKILIX keeps the copy of each file it read, and does not republish it: what is published is the fingerprint of its wording. Download the file yourself and hash its text, lowercased with runs of whitespace collapsed, and a matching fingerprint means the wording quoted above is still the wording GENETRADE publishes.

Who the contract is with

Genius Trading Ltd

Your contract is with Genius Trading Ltd, a Belize company. The Terms name it in the first line, give company number 5635 at 28 Regent Street, Belize City, and claim licence number 6858604 from the Financial Services Commission. Genetrade.com is a trading name, not a company. Clause 28 says the firm does business under an International Business Companies Act. No second entity appears anywhere, and no entity in any other country takes on a retail client, so a Japanese client contracts with the Belize company and sues in Belize City. The Japanese pages give the same company a different registered address and a different licence number, which is why we cannot tell you which licence to check.

Quotations are copied verbatim from the documents named above, with the clause number and the page each one came from. Where a clause is quoted in another language, the original is shown first and the English is a translation.

The plain-language parts, what a clause means for a client, how ordinary it is, and how it reads against a regulated standard, are WIKILIX's analysis and are labelled as such on every card. This is a reading of public documents, not legal advice and not an allegation of wrongdoing.

In fairness, and what we could not check

A reader who knows the edges of the work can trust the middle of it

The risk disclosure is unusually honest about the conflict. GENETRADE states in its own words that it is the counterparty, that the prices it offers might not be the best available, and that it may make more money if the market goes against you. Deposit costs are disclosed where deposits are discussed: card fees are covered, the 2% Skrill fee is named with its figure, and the page warns that your bank's exchange rate is yours to pay. The bonus pages print their own arithmetic, including the example where a withdrawal request cuts equity. The complaints procedure names its stages, its deadlines and the regulator's address, phone and email. Clause 9 also limits deficit liability to weekend and holiday gaps rather than to every loss. Every legal page is plain HTML, free to read with no login, and fully translated into Japanese.

We read all eleven documents in the set, and the last part of the English Terms & Conditions on the broker's own page. No earlier copy exists of the English Terms, the English Risk Disclosure or the Trading Conditions page, so those three could not be set against an older version. The members area needs an account, so we did not see the deposit screen, the withdrawal screen or any fee schedule shown at the moment of payment. The language menu offers Thai, Malay and Vietnamese, and all three links lead back to the English home page, so only the Japanese site could be compared with the English one. We did not check the spreads and rollover pages.

How to check any of this yourself

Every quote above links to the GENETRADE file it came from. This is what to do with it.

Open the three stepsFind the words in the source, work out the fingerprint, and read what a difference does and does not prove.

Open the source and search for the words

Every quote has a link under it. Open the file, or the web page, and search it for the words we quote. The clause number next to the quote tells you where to look.

If the words are not there any more, the source may have changed after we read it. That is worth knowing too. We keep the date we read it, and a code worked out from its wording, so the quote stays checkable.

What a fingerprint is

A fingerprint is a code worked out from what a source says. Change one word and the code changes completely. We keep two codes for every file we read, and the panel on each source shows both.

The first is the code of the exact file we downloaded. The second is the code of its wording alone, with capital letters lowered and runs of spaces collapsed. When the same words are saved as a new file, the first code changes and the second one stays the same.

Only the first code can be worked out on your own computer. Save the file, then run one of these, putting the name of the file you saved where the example is. The panel on each source prints the command with that source's real file name already in it.

macOS or Linux:
  shasum -a 256 the-file-you-saved.pdf

Windows:
  certutil -hashfile the-file-you-saved.pdf SHA256

The two codes are different from each other, and they are not meant to match. Comparing one against the other proves nothing.

What a difference means, and what it does not

A different file code on its own proves nothing. A PDF saved again with a new date inside it is a new file saying exactly the same thing.

A different wording code means the words themselves changed. That is the one that matters, and it is why we keep it.

Even then, a change is not proof of bad faith. Companies update their documents. What this report says is what the document said on the day we read it, and every quote carries that date.

A source that is a web page and not a file has no file to save, so only the code of its wording is shown.

How this report is made

Every clause quoted above comes from a document GENETRADE publishes on its own website, downloaded and hashed on the date shown, with the clause number and page recorded so any reader can check it. We do not allege anything the documents do not say, and we do not judge GENETRADE on anything other than its own published terms and its own public marketing. Where a clause has a qualifier that softens it, the report says so. Last read Oct 9, 2026.

If you represent GENETRADE and a clause has changed, been withdrawn, or is being read out of context, tell us and we will re-read the documents and update this page. Corrections from the broker are welcome and are published with the reading they change. Contact us.

This is a reading of a contract, not legal advice and not a ruling on GENETRADE. Whether its licence is real and current is a separate check on the broker profile.
