Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
8/10 · CriticalThe only claimed licence, MISA BFX2026018, could not be confirmed on the issuer's published lists, and MISA itself is a non-recognised registrar the Comoros central bank has called fictitious. Not 9 or 10 because no fabrication, clone or warning-list hit was established.
Identity & transparency
7/10 · HighEntity name, registration number, incorporation date and registered office are all published, which we credit, but no director, officer or owner is named, there is no phone number, the address is the registrar's own, and Mwali publishes no companies search to confirm any of it.
Withdrawals & conduct
3/10 · LowNo complaints of any kind, fund-integrity or service, and no demand for payment to release funds. Not scored as clean because the site publishes no withdrawal method and no client has reported being paid, so there is nothing positive to weigh either.
Reputation
6/10 · HighA complete absence of footprint rather than a mixed picture: no review profile for the domain, nothing on the trading forums, no press and no archived history. For a firm describing worldwide clients, that silence counts against it.
Website claims
6/10 · HighIt leads with licensed and regulated while the licence is unconfirmable, and cites a Brokerage Act 2013 that is not among the laws MISA publishes. Credit for publishing its real 2026 date, carrying a risk warning, and making no promises of profit.
Operational history
7/10 · HighCompany incorporated 12 February 2026, domain registered 4 March 2026, so roughly seven months on both legs. Scored on the verified figure, with credit for the company not advertising a longer history than it has.
Who they are

Licences the broker publishes
Mwali International Services Authority (MISA)
Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
Three things drive this score, and none of them is a finding of misconduct.
- The licence cannot be checked. MISA publishes browsable lists rather than a searchable register, and its authorised-brokerage list stops at licence BFX2024235, issued 24 December 2024. Its crypto list stops in October 2024 and its suspended list in October 2024. A number issued in 2026 therefore cannot be confirmed or refuted there, and Gostrata publishes no verification link of its own, which a genuinely licensed broker normally does. We record the licence as unverified, not as proof the number is invented.
- The issuer is the weakest there is. The Central Bank of the Comoros stated in June 2022, and repeated the notice in December 2025, that Mwali structures claiming to license banks and financial institutions are fictitious and have no lawful basis. MISA's own register page tells the public that a company not listed on its site is a scam. Read together, a MISA licence leaves a depositor with nothing to fall back on.
- There is no business behind the brochure. Five static pages, no sign-up, no client area, no platform, no funding method, no pricing, no phone, no named people and no social accounts. Certificate records for the domain show only the site itself and its www address, with none of the client, portal or trading subdomains a working brokerage needs.
One smaller point: the company says its licence was issued under a Brokerage Act 2013. The laws MISA publishes are the Banking Act 2013, the Anti-Terrorism Act 2007, the AML Law 2014 and the IBC regulations 2014. The statute named as the legal basis is not among them.
The scorecard produces 65. Regulation at 8 and identity at 7 both count double, complaints 3, reputation 6, website claims 6 and history 7, which is 52 divided by 8, or 6.5 out of 10. Two profile rules also apply, because the track record is under three years and a sweep of the review platforms found no reviews of any kind. Each carries a floor of 65, so they confirm the figure rather than lift it. The honest reading is that too little can be established about a seven-month-old operation with no clients on record to treat it as safe. It is not a finding that money has gone missing.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The advertised licence cannot be confirmed on the issuer's own record. MISA's published list of authorised brokerage companies holds 258 entries and ends with licence BFX2024235, issued 24 December 2024. Gostrata Ltd and BFX2026018 appear nowhere on it, and the authority publishes no licence-number search.
E2The register's lists are not current, which is why the absence in E1 is ambiguous rather than conclusive. The authorised crypto companies list ends with a licence issued in October 2024, matching the December 2024 cut-off on the brokerage list, so no 2025 or 2026 licensee of any category is published.
E3Gostrata is also absent from the suspended list, whose most recent entry is dated 2 October 2024. No Mwali enforcement step against this company is on record.
E4The company publishes its full identity claims: Gostrata Ltd, registration number HT00226012, licence BFX2026018 described as an International Brokerage and Clearing House Licence issued under a Brokerage Act 2013, incorporated 12 February 2026 at Bonovo Road, Fomboni, Island of Moheli. No director or owner is named and no verification link to the issuer is provided.
ModerateGostrata company details pageE5The statute named as the legal basis for the licence is not among the laws the authority publishes. MISA lists the Banking Act 2013, the Anti-Terrorism Act 2007, the AML Law 2014 and the IBC regulations 2014. There is no Brokerage Act 2013.
ModerateLaws published by MISAE6The website was registered on 4 March 2026 through GoDaddy, on a three-year registration expiring in 2029, and sits behind Cloudflare name servers. Combined with the company's stated incorporation on 12 February 2026, the operating history is about seven months.
E7Certificate transparency records corroborate the domain age and show the absence of client infrastructure. The earliest certificate dates from 4 March 2026, matching the registration date, and the only names ever certified are gostrata.ltd and its www address. There is no client, portal, platform or trading subdomain.
E8The site is a brochure with no brokerage apparatus. It consists of five pages, home, about, contact, terms and privacy, linking only to each other. There is no account opening, client login, trading platform, deposit or withdrawal page, pricing, account types or telephone number, while the pages advertise brokerage, asset management and international clearing.
StrongGostrata home pageE9The contracting terms place the relationship under the laws of the Autonomous Island of Mwali and the courts of the Comoros Union, and name no regulator, no licence number and no client-money, deposit or withdrawal provisions at all.
ModerateGostrata terms and conditionsE10The Central Bank of the Comoros informed the public in a June 2022 communique, reissued in December 2025, that structures claiming to issue licences to banks and financial institutions in the Comoros are fictitious, and named the Mwali authority among them. Even a genuine MISA licence therefore carries no recognised supervision.
E11The domain has no archived history whatsoever, which confirms both that the site is new and that the domain was not recycled from an earlier brand. A predecessor operation on this address would have left snapshots.
E12No client footprint exists on any platform. A sweep of the main review platform by domain, the trading forums, a third-party broker directory and general web sources returned no review profile, no complaint and no positive report about gostrata.ltd. Other companies share the GoStrata name, an Australian strata publication and a United States print-marketing firm, but both trade on different websites and are unrelated.
ModerateReview-platform, forum and directory sweep by domain and entity nameE13No regulator warning or alert list names Gostrata Ltd or gostrata.ltd, and no enforcement action or fraud-related court record was found against the entity. The brand impersonates no regulated firm and the licence number is not registered to another company.
ModerateWarning and alert list sweep by brand, domain and licence numberE14The company does not overstate its age and does not use the usual deception hooks. It publishes its own February 2026 incorporation date, claims no longer history, carries a plain risk warning on the front page, and shows no guaranteed returns, no bonus scheme, no awards or press logos, no named executives with borrowed photographs and no crypto wallet address. Its distinctive wording does not appear on any other broker domain.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The case for Gostrata is weaker than a clean bill of health but stronger than the number alone suggests, and it deserves stating plainly.
- Nothing adverse exists. No regulator warning or alert list names the company or the website, there is no enforcement action, no fraud-related court record, and not one complaint from a client anywhere.
- It is honest about its age. The company publishes its 12 February 2026 incorporation date on its own About page and claims no longer track record. Operations of this shape usually invent a decade of history. This one did not.
- The licence number is plausible. BFX2026018 follows MISA's own numbering pattern exactly, and HT00226012 matches the company-number format on MISA's certificates. A fabricated claim is normally sloppier than this.
- The absence from the register is genuinely ambiguous. MISA's lists have not been extended past December 2024 in any category, so no 2026 licensee of any kind appears on them. A real 2026 licence would be just as invisible.
- No impersonation and no scam kit. The brand shadows no regulated firm, the licence number belongs to no other company on record, the site's own wording does not appear on other broker domains, and the domain has no earlier life under a different brand.
- None of the classic hooks are present. No guaranteed returns, no bonus with a volume lock, no fake awards or press logos, no invented executives, no crypto wallet address, no messaging-app sales funnel, and a plain risk warning on the front page.
- A genuinely new firm looks like this at month seven. A company incorporated in February that has not launched yet would have no reviews, no platform and no clients either.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
This verdict rests on what could not be established, so several specific things would move it.
- Downwards: MISA adding Gostrata Ltd and licence BFX2026018 to its published list of authorised brokerage companies, with an issue date and an active status.
- Downwards: the company publishing a direct verification link to its own entry on the issuer's record, which it does not currently provide.
- Downwards: a working client area with named deposit and withdrawal methods, published trading conditions, and named directors whose histories can be checked.
- Downwards: a year or two of clients reporting deposits and withdrawals that worked, on platforms where those reviews can be read.
- Upwards, sharply: any regulator adding this firm or gostrata.ltd to a warning or alert list.
- Upwards, sharply: the first credible report of a withdrawal refused, a balance adjusted away, or a further payment demanded before funds are released.
- Upwards: evidence that the licence number belongs to another company, or that this site is one of several brands sharing a template and an operator.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is Gostrata a scam?
We cannot confirm it is a scam and we found no evidence of fraud, but we also cannot confirm it is safe. We rate it 65 out of 100 for risk because the one licence it advertises could not be verified, the company and website are both under a year old, and no client has left any trace of dealing with it. Do not deposit on the strength of the website alone.
Is Gostrata a fraud?
No court or regulator has found that. There is no regulator warning naming this firm, no enforcement action and no fraud-related court record against Gostrata Ltd. What we can say is that its regulatory claim is unconfirmable and it shows no working brokerage machinery, so we assess the risk as high while stopping well short of any finding of criminal conduct.
Is Gostrata regulated?
It claims a single licence, number BFX2026018, from the Mwali International Services Authority in the Comoros. We could not confirm that licence exists. MISA's published list of authorised brokerage companies contains 258 firms and ends with a licence issued on 24 December 2024, and the authority provides no way to look up a number.
What is a MISA licence actually worth?
Very little. MISA is a company registrar on the autonomous island of Mwali, not a working financial supervisor, and it sells brokerage registrations quickly and cheaply. The Central Bank of the Comoros said in June 2022, and repeated the notice in December 2025, that Mwali bodies claiming to license financial institutions are fictitious and have no lawful basis. No major regulator recognises a MISA licence.
Can I withdraw my money from Gostrata?
We cannot tell you, because the site publishes no deposit or withdrawal method at all and no client has reported either outcome. There is no payment page, no list of methods and no processing times. If you already hold a balance, request a full withdrawal now and keep every receipt and message.
Is my money safe with Gostrata?
There is nothing on record protecting it. There is no compensation scheme, no supervised client-money segregation and no ombudsman to appeal to, because the only claimed regulator is not a recognised supervisor. If funds were not returned, you would have no regulatory route to recover them.
Who owns Gostrata Ltd?
Nobody is named. The site publishes the company name, a registration number and a registered address, but no directors, officers or beneficial owners, and there is no telephone number. Mwali publishes no public companies search, so the ownership cannot be established from the registry either.
How old is Gostrata?
About seven months at the time of writing. The company states it was incorporated on 12 February 2026, and the registry record for gostrata.ltd shows the domain was registered on 4 March 2026. Certificate records for the domain start on the same March date, so both dates agree. There is no earlier history under this or any predecessor name.
Is Gostrata a clone of another broker?
We found no sign of that. The brand does not copy any regulated firm, the licence number is not registered to another company, and the site's wording does not appear on other broker domains. Other businesses share the name GoStrata, including an Australian strata publication and a United States print-marketing firm, but they are unrelated companies on different websites.
Does Gostrata appear on any regulator warning list?
No. We checked the main international warning and alert lists and found no entry naming Gostrata Ltd or gostrata.ltd. Bear in mind that warning lists lag new operations by months, so a clean sweep today is not the same as approval.
Can I actually open an account with Gostrata?
There is no way to do so from the website. It consists of five pages describing the company, and there is no registration form, no client login, no trading platform and no funding page. A firm advertising brokerage, asset management and clearing services shows none of the machinery either business requires.
What should I check before depositing with any broker?
Find the licence number on the broker's site, then type it into the regulator's own register yourself rather than clicking the broker's badge. Confirm the register names the same company that will hold your money, and check the licence permits dealing rather than only advice. Then look for independent reviews that mention actual withdrawals.
What do I do if I have already sent money to Gostrata?
Request a full withdrawal in writing straight away and save the request. Do not pay any tax, fee, insurance or verification charge asked for before funds are released, because that pattern is how advance-fee losses grow. Report the matter to the police and the financial regulator where you live, and ask your bank or card issuer about a chargeback.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat this as an unproven operation and do not send it money yet.
- Do not deposit. There is no confirmed licence, no compensation scheme behind the one that is claimed, and no published route to recover funds if a transfer is not returned.
- Ask the company in writing for a direct link to its entry on the issuer's record, and for the names of its directors. A licensed firm can supply both without difficulty.
- If you want the protection that regulation brings, pick a broker authorised by the regulator in your own country, and check its number on that regulator's register yourself before funding anything.
- If you have already deposited, request a full withdrawal now while the balance is small, and keep every receipt, ticket number and message.
- Treat any demand for a tax, fee, insurance or verification payment before a withdrawal is released as a refusal to pay. Stop sending money at that point.
- If money is already being held back, report it to the police and to the financial regulator in your own country, and ask your bank or card issuer about a chargeback.
This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
