Finding

The company registrar of the autonomous island of Mwali, also written Moheli, in the Comoros Union. It registers companies and sells brokerage registrations quickly and cheaply, but it does not supervise trading, hold client money to account or run a complaints process. The Central Bank of the Comoros has stated publicly that Mwali bodies claiming to license financial institutions are fictitious and have no lawful basis, and no major regulator recognises its licences. Client protection: None in practice. There is no compensation scheme, no supervised segregation of client funds and no ombudsman or appeal route for a client whose money is not returned..

Verification note

Advertised on the company's own About page as an International Brokerage and Clearing House Licence issued under the Brokerage Act 2013. The company publishes no verification link, and the authority's own published list of entities carries no entry for this company and no licence under this number. Recorded as a claim only.

MISA is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Protection

What this licence protects

MISA's own rules for the firms it authorises.

  • No compensation scheme
  • Negative balance protection
  • No complaints route
  • Maximum leverage1:997
This licence is not in force, so these protections do not apply to it. They describe MISA's regime for the firms it currently authorises.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about this licence

Answered from this register entry and the authority’s own record.

Most Popular Questions

The company publishes registration number HT00226012 and an incorporation date of 12 February 2026, but that registration could not be confirmed. No matching entry was found in the Mwali registrar's published list of entities or its site search, in OpenCorporates or in the GLEIF LEI database. A company registration would in any case prove only that the entity exists, never that it may hold client money.

There is no published dispute route beyond the company's own email address. GOSTRATA names no complaints procedure, no ombudsman and no external adjudicator, and its terms cap liability at the fees paid in the preceding twelve months. Because the regulatory claim is unconfirmed, there is also no supervisor a client could reasonably escalate to.

Nothing on the site says so. GOSTRATA makes no statement about holding client money separately from company money, names no custodian bank and describes no compensation or investor protection arrangement. The offshore authority it names does not operate a compensation scheme, so there is no external backstop if funds are not returned.

By email only, at info@gostrata.ltd. The contact page publishes that address and the registered office in Fomboni, with no telephone number, no live chat and no support portal. The company says it aims to reply within one to two business days and asks that compliance matters be marked in the subject line.

GOSTRATA does not publish a country policy. Its terms require only that a client not be resident in a jurisdiction where the services would be prohibited by law, without naming any country, and the site has no restricted-countries page and no registration form whose country list could be read. No country is confirmed as either accepted or refused.

You cannot open one from the website. GOSTRATA publishes no registration form, no open-account page and no client login area, so there is no route from its site to a funded trading account. Anyone offered a GOSTRATA account through another channel is being onboarded outside anything the company publishes.

GOSTRATA publishes no deposit or withdrawal methods. There is no funding page, no payment page and no fee schedule on the site, and the terms and conditions set out no withdrawal process or timescale. The conditions under which money could be taken out are therefore unknown before it is paid in.

Neither is published. GOSTRATA states no maximum leverage, no spread, no commission and no execution model anywhere on its website. Without those figures the cost of trading cannot be assessed or compared with any other broker.

None is named. The site refers to a licensed brokerage platform and to access to forex, commodities and securities, but it does not name MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader or any proprietary platform, and it offers no download or web terminal link. There is no way to tell from the site what a client would actually trade on.

GOSTRATA does not publish a minimum deposit. The site carries no account comparison, no pricing page and no funding page, so the amount needed to start is unknown before any contact with the company. A brokerage that does not state its minimum deposit publicly gives a prospective client nothing to compare.

The company states on its about page that Gostrata Ltd was incorporated on 12 February 2026 under the International Business Companies Act 2014. That makes it only months old at the time of this review, which is too short a record to show how the firm behaves when clients ask for their money back.

GOSTRATA is the trading name of Gostrata Ltd, which the website gives as registration number HT00226012 with a registered office at Bonovo Road, Fomboni, Island of Moheli, Comoros Union. No directors, officers or shareholders are named anywhere on the site, and the company could not be located in a public corporate register, so the individuals behind it are not identifiable.

There is no confirmed evidence of fraud, but there is also nothing that would make GOSTRATA safe to deposit with. Its licence claim is unconfirmed, its operating company could not be found in any public corporate record, and it publishes no trading service at all. That combination puts it in the high risk and unverified category rather than the proven-fraud one.

No confirmed regulation was found. GOSTRATA states on its own about page that it holds an International Brokerage and Clearing House Licence numbered BFX2026018 from the Mwali International Services Authority of the Comoros Union, but that claim could not be matched to any entry in the authority's own published list of entities, and the company publishes no verification link. The licence is therefore claimed rather than held.

Licence BFX2026018 was issued by Moroni International Services Authority (MISA), the financial authority for Comoros.
GOSTRATA holds this MISA licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
No. This licence is no longer in force, or the MISA register did not carry it when we looked. It is kept on record because a closed registration is part of a firm’s history.
The MISA register prints it under Gostrata Ltd, not GOSTRATA. Licences are often held by a subsidiary rather than the trading brand, which is why searching a register for the brand alone can return nothing.
Wikilix rates MISA tier 4, the lowest band. A registration here says little on its own about client protection.
Yes, MISA is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
