Regulation
10/10 · CriticalNo licence in any jurisdiction while taking deposits, plus fabricated NFA and ASIC claims and a company number advertised as a VFSC licence; a regulator alert names the exact website.
Identity & transparency
9/10 · CriticalThe Vanuatu entity was real and disclosed, which counts in its favour, but the published London address and four dissolved UK shells pointed clients at the wrong jurisdiction, ownership was never disclosed and the money-holding entity sat at its agent's office.
Withdrawals & conduct
5/10 · ModerateOne specific account of profits removed and withdrawals blocked under bonus conditions, plus a bonus requiring a further deposit before bonus profit could be taken; an isolated fund-integrity signal rather than a confirmed pattern.
Reputation
8/10 · CriticalListed on a national regulator's investor alert list, a second regulator warning on an HXFX-branded firm, uniformly negative third-party coverage, and no positive footprint at all on any review platform.
Website claims
10/10 · CriticalClaimed US NFA regulation and ASIC licensing that neither register supports, sold a company registration as a licence, advertised a decade of history against a 2018 incorporation, and listed unverifiable awards.
Operational history
8/10 · CriticalRoughly five years of verified trading from 2018 to 2023, overstated as fifteen, followed by complete abandonment with every linked company in Vanuatu, the UK and Australia now dissolved.
Who they are
A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.
- Brand: HXFX Global
- Legal entity: HXFX GLOBAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED, a Vanuatu international company, number 40453, incorporated 23 January 2018 and de-registered 17 October 2025
- Registered: First Floor, Icount Building, Kumul Highway, Port Vila, Vanuatu, which is the office of its registered agent, International Finance Trust Company Limited. The site also published Suite 803, 162 Warwick Way, London SW1V 4JE
- Website: hxfxglobal.com, which stopped serving broker content in 2023 and is now offered for sale by a domain reseller for 4,795 US dollars
- Only licence: none. The number it advertised as a VFSC licence is a company registration number, and HXFX appears nowhere on Vanuatu's Financial Dealers Licensee list
- Offers: forex, shares, indices, commodities and cryptocurrency CFDs through a proprietary mobile app, leverage to 1:500, accounts from a 20 US dollar minimum deposit
- Not accepted: the footer said the site was not intended for US residents, on the same pages that claimed US NFA regulation
- Age claim: 'ten years of integrity' and a company timeline beginning in 2010, against a January 2018 incorporation

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
Three regulators' own records settle this, and they all point the same way.
- A regulator named this exact website. The Securities Commission Malaysia's Investor Alert List carries an entry for HXFX Global, listing www.hxfxglobal.com and www.hxfxpremium.com, added in 2021, with the remark 'Carrying on unlicensed activities'. That is the regulator of one of its main markets describing this operation, by domain, as unlicensed.
- The advertised licence is a company registration. Vanuatu's Financial Dealers Licensee list is published in full, 65 firms, and neither HXFX nor the number 40453 appears on it, in the current list or in the list as published in October 2025. Searching the VFSC's own company register for 40453 returns HXFX GLOBAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED on the International Companies register, status Dissolved, registered 23 January 2018, de-registered 17 October 2025. Incorporating a company in Vanuatu is not a dealer's licence, and the site nevertheless headed the page 'Licenses held by HXFX Global Group' and wrote that the company 'is licensed by VFSC'.
- The NFA claim is false. The licence page stated that HXFX Global 'is regulated by the National Futures Association (NFA) of the United States to protect the safety of customers' funds'. A search of NFA BASIC returns nothing, and the register states plainly that such a result means a firm that is not and has not been registered with the CFTC. BASIC covers former registrants, so this is not a lapsed permission.
- The ASIC claim is false. The About page listed 'Most stringent regulatory licenses : VFSC, ASIC'. ASIC's register of organisations and business names returns zero results for HXFX, so there is no Australian entity of that name, let alone an Australian Financial Services licence.
- The age claim does not survive the records. The entity dates from January 2018 and the website's earliest certificate is November 2018, with the first archived pages in mid-2019. We found no predecessor brand or domain carrying history back to the advertised 2010 start, so the operating record is about five years of actual trading, not a decade.
- The structure pointed clients at the wrong country. The money-holding entity was a Vanuatu shell at its agent's address, while the site showed a London contact address. UK Companies House records four HXFX companies, all dissolved, two of them registered under a retail mail-order activity code, including HXFX GLOBAL NETWORK CO., LTD at that same Warwick Way address. A UK company number is not FCA authorisation.
- It is now abandoned. hxfxglobal.com lapsed and was re-registered by a drop-catch reseller on 3 February 2026; hxfxpremium.com and hxfxglobalnetworkco.com no longer resolve; the Google Play trading apps have been removed; the Vanuatu company is dissolved. Clients who still held balances have no counterparty and no supervisor to appeal to.
Note on one point we did not count against this broker: the FCA published a warning in February 2022 about an unauthorised firm trading as HXFX, but that notice names a different website, hxfxcfd.com, which we could not tie to this operation. We record it because it exists, not as this company's own warning.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The Securities Commission Malaysia's Investor Alert List carries an entry for HXFX Global, listing the websites www.hxfxglobal.com and www.hxfxpremium.com, added in 2021, with the remark 'Carrying on unlicensed activities'. The listed website matches this broker's own domain exactly.
E2Vanuatu's Financial Dealers Licensee list is published in full, 65 licensees, and contains neither HXFX nor the number 40453. Searches of the list for 'HXFX' and for '40453' both return no matching records. The same absence appears in the list as published in October 2025.
E3The VFSC company register shows number 40453 as HXFX GLOBAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED on the International Companies register, a private company, status Dissolved, registered 23 January 2018, de-registered 17 October 2025, at First Floor, Icount Building, Kumul Highway, Port Vila. A company registration is not a dealer's licence, and the broker advertised this number as its VFSC licence.
E4A firm search of NFA BASIC for HXFX returns zero results, and the register states that such a result indicates a firm that is not and has not been registered with the CFTC. BASIC covers former registrants, so this is not a lapsed permission. The broker's licence page claimed it was regulated by the NFA to protect the safety of customers' funds.
E5ASIC's register of organisations and business names returns zero results for HXFX, so no Australian company, business name or licensee of that name exists. The broker's About page listed 'Most stringent regulatory licenses : VFSC, ASIC'.
E6The broker's own Regulatory License page, as published in January 2023, is headed 'Licenses held by HXFX Global Group' and states both that HXFX Global 'is regulated by the National Futures Association (NFA) of the United States' and that the company 'is licensed by VFSC; company number 40453'. The same page's footer says the information is not intended for residents of the United States, contradicting the NFA claim. No external verification link is published for either claim.
E7The broker's own About page advertised 'Ten years of integrity', '10+ years of safety operation experience' and a company history timeline beginning in 2010. The Vanuatu company was incorporated on 23 January 2018, the domain's earliest TLS certificate is dated 22 November 2018 and the first archived pages are from June 2019, so the advertised history overstates the record by about eight years.
E8The domain hxfxglobal.com no longer belongs to the broker. It lapsed and was re-registered on 3 February 2026 through a drop-catch registrar, and it is now presented as a domain for sale at 4,795 US dollars. The broker's content had already been replaced by a parking page by November 2024.
E9UK Companies House holds four HXFX companies, all dissolved: HXFX GLOBAL NETWORK CO., LTD, HXFX GLOBAL NETWORK SERVICES CO LTD, HXFX GLOBAL FINANCE LIMITED and HXFX LIMITED. HXFX GLOBAL NETWORK CO., LTD was registered at Suite 803, 162 Warwick Way, London SW1V 4JE, the London address published for HXFX Global, under a retail mail-order activity code, and was dissolved on 1 August 2023. None of this is FCA authorisation.
E10The IOSCO alerts network records an FCA warning published 17 February 2022 about a commercial name HXFX, categorised as an unregistered or unlicensed entity offering financial products or services. The FCA notice names the website hxfxcfd.com, a different domain from this broker's, so we record the warning without attributing it to this company.
E11A client in Vietnam reported in June 2022 that the platform deducted trading profits and would not allow them to be withdrawn while bonus programme conditions applied. A separate Vietnamese trading forum post from November 2021 asked whether a requirement to deposit a further 100 US dollars before bonus profit could be withdrawn was legitimate. Both concern access to funds rather than trading conditions.
E12The site served separate English, Malay, Vietnamese and Traditional Chinese versions, published Vietnamese, Malaysian and Philippine support hotlines and a Vietnamese position-closing line, offered Zalo and WhatsApp contact, and stated that client funds were managed through banks including ACB Bank and DongA Bank. This is active retail solicitation in markets where it held no permission, and it names a country whose regulator went on to list the site.
E13The firm's entry on the oldest forex-specific review site, matched to hxfxglobal.com, carries no rating and zero reviews, and Trustpilot has no profile for the domain at all. There is no Reddit footprint. A platform that advertised a decade of operation and millions of investors left no verifiable client community in either direction.
E14The Vanuatu company was registered through a corporate agent, International Finance Trust Company Limited, and the address the broker published as its own, First Floor, Icount Building, Kumul Highway, Port Vila, is that agent's registered office rather than a trading office of the broker.
E15The legal entity HXFX GLOBAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED was genuine, named openly on the website and verifiable by number on a government register, and it filed an annual return as late as 14 January 2025 before being de-registered. This is a point in the operation's favour and is recorded as such.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The fair case for this broker, stated as strongly as the record allows.
- The legal entity was real, named on the website, and verifiable on a government register. Plenty of scams never disclose an entity at all, and this one can be looked up by number.
- Vanuatu's regulator genuinely does run a company register, and the site's own wording said 'company number 40453'. A sympathetic reader could argue the broker was describing a registration rather than claiming a licence, although the page heading and the phrase 'is licensed by VFSC' make that defence hard to sustain.
- The documented complaint record is thin. We found one specific account, from a client in Vietnam in June 2022, describing profits being removed and withdrawals blocked under bonus conditions, and one query about a bonus requiring a further deposit before bonus profit could be taken out. That is not a mass pattern, and many clients may well have been paid normally.
- Offshore-only or weakly supervised brokers are a risk tier rather than proof of theft. If the only finding here were a low-tier jurisdiction, this would be a high-risk report, not a scam verdict.
- There is no evidence of a mass withdrawal freeze at the end. The operation appears to have wound down over 2023 to 2025 rather than halting payouts and disappearing overnight, and the Vanuatu company filed an annual return as late as January 2025 before being de-registered.
- The FCA notice we found names a different HXFX-branded website, and we have deliberately not attributed it to this company.
What defeats all of this is not the complaint volume. It is that two tier-one regulators' registers show the advertised permissions never existed, and a third regulator put this exact website on an alert list.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
Any one of the following would change our assessment, and we would revise the report.
- A Vanuatu Financial Dealers Licence record for HXFX GLOBAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED, or for company 40453, covering the years the platform took deposits.
- An NFA BASIC record showing HXFX Global registered with the NFA or the CFTC at any point.
- An ASIC record showing an Australian Financial Services licence held by HXFX Global or by an entity it disclosed as its licence holder.
- The Securities Commission Malaysia removing the HXFX Global entry from its Investor Alert List.
- Evidence of a predecessor company or domain carrying genuine operating history back to 2010, which would rehabilitate the age claim.
- Documentation that client balances were returned when the platform closed, which would separate an orderly wind-down from a loss of client money.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is HXFX Global a scam?
Yes, on the evidence we hold. It accepted retail deposits while holding no financial licence anywhere, advertised regulation by the US NFA and by ASIC that neither regulator's register supports, and presented a Vanuatu company number as a trading licence. Malaysia's Securities Commission lists its website for carrying on unlicensed activities.
Is HXFX Global a fraud?
We cannot state that as a legal fact, because no court or regulator has made a fraud finding against this company. What we can say is that we assess the risk of fraud as high, and that the specific conduct is documented: two fabricated tier-one regulatory claims, a company registration advertised as a licence, and an eight-year overstatement of its trading history.
Is HXFX Global regulated?
No. HXFX GLOBAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED does not appear on Vanuatu's Financial Dealers Licensee list, which is published in full. It has no NFA or CFTC registration, and no ASIC registration or Australian Financial Services licence. The only genuine record is a Vanuatu international-company registration, which is not financial regulation.
What was licence number 40453?
It is a company registration number, not a licence. The VFSC company register shows 40453 as HXFX GLOBAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED on the International Companies register, incorporated 23 January 2018 and de-registered 17 October 2025. The broker printed that number on its site under a heading about licences held.
Can I still withdraw my money from HXFX Global?
Almost certainly not. The website stopped operating in 2023, the domain has since passed to a reseller and is for sale, the trading apps were removed from Google Play, and the Vanuatu company was dissolved in October 2025. There is no licensed entity, no compensation scheme and no supervisor to appeal to.
Is my money safe with HXFX Global?
No. There was never any regulatory protection for client funds, and the About page said deposits were handled through Vietnamese commercial banks rather than a segregated arrangement at a supervised custodian. With the company dissolved, there is no legal counterparty holding your balance.
Who owned HXFX Global?
Ownership was never disclosed. The contracting entity was a Vanuatu international company registered through an agent, International Finance Trust Company Limited, at whose Port Vila office the company was registered. Third-party records also associate the brand with Rhino Smart Pty Ltd in Australia and HX Worldwide Company Limited, and UK Companies House shows four dissolved HXFX companies.
How old was HXFX Global really?
About five years of actual trading. The company was incorporated in January 2018, the website's earliest certificate is November 2018 and the first archived pages are from June 2019. The site advertised 'ten years' and a company timeline starting in 2010, which no record supports.
Was HXFX Global a clone of another broker?
No. It did not copy another firm's name, licence number or corporate identity. It used its own real Vanuatu company and simply claimed permissions it did not hold, which is a different mechanic from cloning a regulated firm.
Which regulators warned about HXFX Global?
The Securities Commission Malaysia added HXFX Global to its Investor Alert List in 2021, naming www.hxfxglobal.com and www.hxfxpremium.com, for carrying on unlicensed activities. The UK's FCA separately published a warning in February 2022 about an unauthorised firm trading as HXFX, although that notice names a different website.
What should I do if I lost money to HXFX Global?
Gather your deposit dates, amounts, payment receipts and any chat logs. Report the loss to your national financial regulator and to your bank or card issuer, and ask about a chargeback or payment recall. Do not pay any further sum that is presented as needed to release your funds.
Someone is offering to recover my HXFX Global losses. Should I pay?
No. Upfront-fee recovery services that target the clients of collapsed brokers are themselves a scam pattern, and victim lists circulate between operators. Legitimate routes are free: your regulator, your bank's dispute process, and the police.
What should I check before depositing with any offshore broker?
Take the licence number from the broker's own page and type it into the regulator's register yourself. Confirm the register shows a dealing or trading licence, that it is current, and that the licensed company is the same company named in the client agreement that will hold your deposit. A company registration number, a business registration or a membership badge is not a licence.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
There is no safe way to use this platform, because there is no platform left.
- Do not send money to any site or app using the HXFX name. The original website is now a domain sales listing, so anything presenting itself as HXFX Global today is not the original operator.
- If you still have a balance recorded with HXFX Global, do not pay anything further. No tax, fee, verification charge or additional deposit will release funds from a closed platform.
- Report your loss to your own national regulator and to your bank or card issuer. Ask about a chargeback or payment recall, and bring your deposit dates, amounts and receipts.
- Clients in Malaysia can cite the Securities Commission Malaysia's Investor Alert List entry for HXFX Global. Clients elsewhere can cite the absence of the firm from the Vanuatu, NFA and ASIC registers.
- Ignore anyone offering to recover your money for an upfront fee. Recovery offers aimed at the victims of a collapsed broker are a standard follow-up scam.
- Before your next account, check the broker's licence number on the regulator's own register and confirm the register names the same company that will hold your deposit.
