Finding

Category 4 licence held by HYCM Limited (formerly HYCM Capital Markets (DIFC) Limited) to arrange deals in investments for retail clients in the DIFC. It does not permit dealing or holding client money. Its clients are also clients of the FCA-regulated UK company. Client protection: Limited: DIFC conduct supervision of an arranging firm. Client money protection comes from the UK company, not from this licence. Effective: 19 Sep 2006.

Verification note

Confirmed on the DFSA register as HYCM Limited (Financial Services Licence). Exact legal-entity name and jurisdiction: the DFSA record's Name 'HYCM Limited' (Legal Status: DIFC Company; DFSA Reference Number F000048) equals the broker's registered corporate entity HYCM Limited, incorporated in the United Arab Emirates; the record's Trading Name 'HYCM' matches the brand. The register records the licence as effective from 19 September 2006.

About this DFSA licence

What this authorisation is, what it establishes, and what it leaves open.

The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) licence behind the HYCM name is recorded against a separate company rather than the brand itself. The DFSA Public Register lists that company, HYCM Limited, under DFSA Reference Number F000048, with a Date of Licence of 19 September 2006 and an address in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), United Arab Emirates. As at this check, the record printed a retail-client endorsement, one financial service and no date of withdrawal.

Established under Dubai law, the DFSA is the independent regulator of financial services and related activities for the DIFC. The record's financial service list for HYCM Limited prints Arranging Deals in Investments, with an instrument scope of futures, shares and units, and its endorsement reads Carrying on authorised Financial Services with or for Retail Clients.

HYCM Limited is one of several companies registered behind the brand, and this authorisation does not extend to its sister companies, such as HYCM Capital Markets S.R.L. in Costa Rica or the separately incorporated HYCM Limited of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The record lists arranging deals only; Dealing in Investments as Principal or as Agent does not appear on it. A register entry is not a statement about solvency or conduct.

Beyond the licence date, the record printed the legal status DIFC Company, the trading name HYCM, an address at Tenancy 903, Level 9, Liberty House in the DIFC, and telephone and fax numbers. It printed no expiry or renewal date. Its Individuals tab listed four authorised individuals without a withdrawal date as at this check.

To confirm it, search the Firms tab of the DFSA Public Register on dfsa.ae for HYCM or F000048 and read the HYCM Limited record, including its Regulatory Actions tab. A date of withdrawal on that record, a change of the licensed entity or its reference number, or the removal of the retail endorsement would change this answer.

Most Popular Questions

Yes. When the FCA's register was checked on 27 October 2026, it listed twelve clone entries against HYCM Capital Markets (UK) Limited, among them hycmfx.com, hycmarket.com and hycmarkets.net, which the FCA describes as unauthorised firms using the genuine firm's details. HYCM's Customer Agreement states that genuine HYCM emails come only from the hycm.com and uk.hycm.com domains, and HYCM asks for suspected clone websites to be reported to compliance@hycm.com.

HYCM offers CFDs on forex, metals, energy, commodities, indices, stocks and cryptocurrencies, but its account comparison shows the full range only on the Fixed account; Classic and Raw list forex pairs and metals only. HYCM INVEST, a separate product on MetaTrader 5, offers more than 1,000 stocks with fractional shares from US$10, advertised with no commission and 1:1 leverage.

Under HYCM's Customer Agreement, a complaint goes first to the Customer Support Team and then to the Complaints Manager, and HYCM undertakes to reply in writing within 14 days of receipt. The complaints address is complaints@hycm.com, answered from 9:00 to 18:00 (GMT+3), and data protection complaints go to dpo@hycm.com. HYCM's help centre directs clients of its UK company to complaints@uk.hycm.com instead.

HYCM's client support works 24 hours a day, five days a week, by live chat, by email at support@hycm.com and by phone on +44 20 3996 4943. Account opening (accounts@hycm.com) and general enquiries (info@hycm.com) keep the same 24/5 hours, and HYCM also offers a Telegram bot and Viber. Its help centre is at help.hycm.com.

Yes, as an option on the Fixed, Classic and Raw accounts for certain products, for clients of the Muslim faith. HYCM's Islamic fees notice allows 14 days without overnight charges on forex pairs, cash indices and metals and then applies an Islamic charge of US$5 on forex and cash indices and US$10 on metals for USD accounts, while its Terms of Business say normal overnight fees apply after 14 days. Other products have no swap-free option, and HYCM may charge the waived swaps if it finds abuse.

HYCM gives different times on different pages. Its help centre says requests are processed within one business day and the money can take 3 to 7 days to arrive, its funding table gives 1 to 4 working days for bank wire, 1 to 7 for cards and 24 hours for crypto, and its Customer Agreement allows up to seven business days. Bank wire withdrawals under US$300 cost US$30 where the account has traded, although the funding table gives US$300 as the wire minimum.

Only the Raw account charges commission: US$4 per round turn on forex and US$5 on metals. The Fixed and Classic accounts charge no commission, with spreads from 1.5 and 1.2 pips, and HYCM says spreads widen during its midnight session from 8pm to 6am GMT. HYCM also charges an inactivity fee of US$10 a month after 90 days without activity.

HYCM offers three accounts, Fixed, Classic and Raw, each with a US$20 minimum deposit and leverage up to 1:500. Fixed has fixed spreads from 1.5 pips and no commission but does not allow Expert Advisors; Classic has variable spreads from 1.2 pips and no commission; Raw has spreads from 0.1 pips plus a commission. HYCM's comparison table lists only forex pairs and metals on Classic and Raw, and HYCM mentions VIP and Corporate accounts for larger-volume clients without publishing their terms.

HYCM Capital Markets S.R.L., a Costa Rica company, operates hycm.com, and clients contract with it under HYCM's Customer Agreement and Terms of Business. The company appears on the Costa Rica Ministry of Finance (Hacienda) taxpayer registry under number 3-102-883933, checked on 27 October 2026; that is a company registration, not a financial licence, and HYCM says the company is not regulated. HYCM describes its UK company, HYCM Capital Markets (UK) Limited (company number 02878581), as the owner of the HYCM brand, and the hycm.com footer names it as the provider of the MetaTrader platform services.

Yes. HYCM's help centre lists 34 countries whose residents it does not accept, including the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Russia, Belarus, Iran and North Korea, and its Terms of Business add Japan to the places of residence where it may suspend an account. HYCM does not accept US, Hong Kong, North Korean, Sudanese, Russian or Belarusian nationals wherever they live, and it tells European residents that the company operating hycm.com falls outside the European regulatory framework.

Up to 1:500. That is the maximum on the Fixed, Classic and Raw accounts and the level HYCM gives for forex, while HYCM sets lower maximums of 1:200 on indices, 1:133 on commodities and 1:20 on stock CFDs and cryptocurrencies. HYCM INVEST, its separate stock-investing product on MetaTrader 5, is unleveraged at 1:1.

Yes. HYCM's minimum first deposit is US$20 on the Fixed, Classic and Raw accounts, and each later top-up must also be at least US$20. The same US$20 minimum applies to bank wire, card and crypto deposits. Once total deposits exceed US$2,000, HYCM asks for verification documents before you can trade.

HYCM's funding table lists bank wire transfer, Visa and Mastercard cards, and cryptocurrency, each with a US$20 minimum deposit and no HYCM deposit fee. Withdrawals return to the original card or bank account, only the amount deposited by card can go back to a card, and profits are paid by bank wire to an account in your own name. An older help-centre article also names Skrill, Neteller, China UnionPay and Interac, but only for some HYCM companies and regions, and they are not in the hycm.com funding table.

HYCM offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and its own HYCM Trader app. MetaTrader 4 and 5 are available on the Fixed, Classic and Raw accounts as Windows downloads and Android and iOS apps, and MetaTrader 5 also has a web terminal at webtrader.hycm.com. HYCM Trader, for Android and iOS, uses a separate HYCM Trader account and is listed only for the Fixed account.

No financial regulator oversees accounts opened through hycm.com: they are held with HYCM Capital Markets S.R.L., a Costa Rica company that HYCM itself says is not regulated. Three other HYCM companies hold licences that were confirmed on the regulators' registers on 27 October 2026: HYCM Capital Markets (UK) Limited is authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (firm reference number 186171) to deal in investments as principal, HYCM Limited holds a Dubai Financial Services Authority licence (F000048) to arrange deals in investments, and HYCM Financial Services L.L.C. is listed by the UAE Capital Market Authority for introduction and promotion only, under record CP-0001759 rather than the licence number 20200000473 that HYCM gives. None of those licences extends to HYCM Capital Markets S.R.L.

Licence F000048 was issued by Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the financial authority for United Arab Emirates.
HYCM holds this DFSA licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the DFSA register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
The DFSA register prints it under HYCM Limited, not HYCM. Licences are often held by a subsidiary rather than the trading brand, which is why searching a register for the brand alone can return nothing.
Wikilix rates DFSA tier 2: a well-established regime with real supervision, usually with lower compensation limits than a tier-1 authority.
This page links straight to the DFSA register. Search it for F000048, and for the name HYCM Limited rather than the trading brand.
HYCM has 2 other licences on record with Wikilix, across 2 jurisdictions. They are listed further down this page.
