SCB is classed as an offshore regime. An offshore registration can be entirely legitimate, but it typically means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.

Most Popular Questions

Complaints go to IC's support address, support@ic.com, and under clause 3.6 of the Terms a complaint IC does not resolve can be referred to the Financial Commission within 30 days of IC's decision. The Terms also set limits: a trade confirmation becomes conclusive unless you dispute it within 48 hours (clause 3.4), IC may decline a complaint about an account it has closed or suspended unless the law requires it to review it (clause 3.7), and its liability is capped at four times the fees, commission or spread paid on the trade concerned (clause 20.6). The agreement is governed by Seychelles law (clause 28.10).

The help centre says yes: IC allows both scalping and hedging, and its accounts page says all trading styles are allowed. Its Terms are narrower: clause 6.8 lets IC refuse any order linked to scalping or black-box trading, and clause 12.4 treats trading in a size, manner or speed that could not be replicated in the underlying market as prohibited conduct, for which clause 12.1 allows IC to void trades and withhold the amounts it suspects came from it.

Raw Trading Ltd says it holds client money in segregated client money accounts with top-tier banks, pooled with other clients' money and kept apart from its own funds (Terms clause 14.1), and it keeps any interest earned on that money. It also advertises client funds insurance of up to 1,000,000 USD, but its insurance page says that limit covers all claimants together and applies only if Raw Trading Ltd becomes insolvent. No investor compensation scheme covers ic.com accounts, and the help centre says clients bear any negative balance, which clause 15.18 of the Terms confirms, even though IC's order execution policy refers to negative balance protection offered by IC.

Yes. IC offers cTrader Copy with its cTrader account, its own IC Social app linked to a MetaTrader 4 account, and the Signal Start service for copying MetaTrader signals, and it links to ZuluTrade, which Zulu Trade Ltd owns and runs. Clause 12.3(c) of the Terms, however, counts copy trading or signal arrangements as conduct against market integrity where the copying accounts together produce volumes, speed or risk that independent traders could not achieve in the underlying market, and clause 12.1 then lets IC void those trades and withhold the amounts it suspects came from them.

IC advertises support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by live chat, phone and email. The main number is +248 467 19 76 (Seychelles), with local lines for Thailand, Indonesia, Colombia and Vietnam, and the support email is support@ic.com. The contact page also gives Seychelles office hours of Monday to Saturday 07:00 to 07:00 AEDT and Sunday to Friday 22:00 to 22:00 GMT.

Raw Trading Ltd does not accept clients from the United States, and the ic.com footer also names Canada, Iran and North Korea. Its AML policy publishes a longer list of restricted and sanctioned countries, including Russia, Belarus, Cuba, Syria, Afghanistan, Myanmar, New Zealand and several US and French territories. The two lists do not match: Canada is named in the footer but not on the AML list, and the registration form still offers both Canada and New Zealand. Residents of the European Union cannot apply through ic.com, which directs them to the separate company IC Markets (EU) Ltd.

Yes. Swap Free is an option on the Raw Spread and Standard accounts, on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader. It is not free of charge: instead of swaps it takes a fixed holding fee per lot on positions held overnight, for example 11 USD on EURUSD and 71 USD on XAUUSD, after up to five grace days (none on XNGUSD, XTIUSD and XBRUSD). IC may revoke swap-free status without giving a reason, and if it believes the account is being abused, its swap-free terms let it void all trades on the account and cancel any profits.

Three accounts are open now: Raw Spread and Standard on MetaTrader, and cTrader Raw Spread on cTrader and TradingView, all with no minimum deposit. Raw Pro and Raw Pro+ are listed but only offer early access, and a third new account, Starter, is announced with no terms. A Swap Free option is available on Raw Spread and Standard. The help centre still says IC offers two accounts, Standard and Raw Spread.

Requests received before 12:00 AEST/AEDT are normally processed the same business day. After processing, the withdrawal page says e-wallets such as PayPal, Neteller and Skrill are credited instantly, crypto within about 2 hours, local bank transfers in 1 to 2 business days, international transfers in 2 to 14 business days and card refunds in 3 to 5 business days (up to 10 in rare cases), while the help centre tells clients to allow at least 3 business days. IC's AML policy reserves the right to delay any withdrawal that needs further review, and its order execution policy treats a withdrawal requested while the traded instrument is closed as an abuse of negative balance protection.

The Raw Spread account has spreads from 0.0 pips and a commission of 3.50 USD per lot per side (7.00 USD round turn), with an average EUR/USD spread of 0.1 pips. cTrader Raw Spread charges 3 USD per side for every 100,000 USD traded, and the Standard account has no commission and spreads from 0.8 pips. IC says it charges no deposit, withdrawal or inactivity fees, but its Terms let it deduct fees a client owes, including credit card fees (clause 13.3(b)), provide for a monthly platform access charge if IC specifies one (clause 13.2(d)), and allow fee changes to take effect immediately once published on its website where no notice period applies (clause 17.7).

Leverage goes up to 1:5000 on the Raw Spread and Standard accounts and up to 1:1000 on cTrader Raw Spread, and the help centre gives a range of 1:1 to 1:5000. For the announced Raw Pro accounts, the comparison table shows 1:5000 while the early-access page says up to 1:1000. IC warns that its leverage is dynamic and may change at any time.

IC Markets Global and IC are trading names of Raw Trading Ltd, a Seychelles company, and an account opened on ic.com is with Raw Trading Ltd. Its registration, number 8419879-1, incorporated on 5 April 2017 with its registered office at Eden House, 1st Floor, Eden Island, Mahe, was confirmed on 24 October 2026 against the Seychelles business registry through its GLEIF LEI record, 549300ZFKJCU7QEZYF02. The group's Australian site (icmarkets.com.au), EU site (icmarkets.eu) and Bahamas site (icmarkets.bs) are run by separate companies: International Capital Markets Pty Ltd, IC Markets (EU) Ltd and IC Markets Ltd.

IC offers CFDs on forex, commodities, indices, synthetic indices, bonds, cryptocurrencies, stocks, 24-hour stocks and futures. Its site advertises more than 2,850 instruments, while the account table lists 2,250 on the MetaTrader accounts and 121 on cTrader Raw Spread.

IC says it charges no fees for withdrawals on any method, though banks and card providers may charge their own, and clause 13.3(b) of its Terms lets it deduct fees a client owes, including credit card fees. Withdrawals are requested in the Secure Client Area, confirmed by email and normally returned to the method used to deposit; cards are refunded up to the amount deposited, with anything above that paid by card payout or another method such as bank transfer. A first bank withdrawal needs a statement for the registered account, IC may ask for further documents including proof of source of funds, and payments to third parties are refused.

There is no minimum deposit on the Raw Spread, cTrader Raw Spread and Standard accounts: the accounts table lists 0 USD and the help centre says an account can be opened without any minimum deposit requirement. The announced Raw Pro and Raw Pro+ accounts will need 5,000 USD and 100,000 USD, but they are not open yet. IC states it charges no deposit fees, although card providers and banks may charge their own.

IC Markets offers MetaTrader 5 (marked as recommended), MetaTrader 4, cTrader and TradingView, plus its own IC mobile app and the IC Social copy trading app. MetaTrader runs on Windows, Mac, the web, iPhone and iPad, and Android, and cTrader on Windows, the web, Mac, iPhone and iPad, and Android. TradingView trading works only with the cTrader Raw Spread account.

Yes. IC Markets Global is a trading name of Raw Trading Ltd, which the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) lists as a securities dealer under the trade names IC Markets Global and IC MARKETS (SC); WIKILIX confirmed the entry on the FSA's list on 24 October 2026. The FSA list gives no licence number, so SD018 is the number IC's own site gives. This Seychelles licence is the only one that covers accounts opened on ic.com. The group's ASIC licence 335692, CySEC licence 362/18 and Bahamas registration SIA-F214, also confirmed on 24 October 2026, belong to International Capital Markets Pty Ltd, IC Markets (EU) Ltd and IC Markets Ltd and cover those companies' own clients.

Licence SIA-F214 was issued by The Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SCB), the financial authority for Bahamas.
IC holds this SCB licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the SCB register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
Wikilix rates SCB tier 3. Supervision is lighter-touch and client protections vary.
Yes, SCB is classed as an offshore regime. That can be a legitimate registration, but it usually means lower capital requirements, no compensation scheme, and a complaint route that is harder to use from abroad.
This page links straight to the SCB register. Search it for SIA-F214, and for the name IC rather than the trading brand.
IC has 3 other licences on record with Wikilix, across 3 jurisdictions. They are listed further down this page.
