CySEC granted Cyprus Investment Firm licence 143/11 on 23 May 2011, and the authority's current list still carries it. The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) records the holder as ICFD Ltd, the Cypriot company behind the iFOREX Europe brand, and the entry carried no status qualifier when read on 15 October 2026, which on this list means the authorisation is in good standing.
CySEC is Cyprus's statutory financial regulator and its MiFID II national competent authority, so a CIF authorisation is an EU investment-firm licence rather than an offshore registration or a trade body membership. The current holders are published as a single dated list that gives each licence number and the date it was granted, but gives no permission categories for individual firms.
An entry establishes that the authority recorded the firm as authorised when the list was compiled. It says nothing about solvency, conduct or service quality, and it does not prove the licence is in force today, since CySEC can suspend or withdraw one and moves withdrawn licences to a separate Former Investment Firms list. The authorisation belongs to ICFD Ltd, not automatically to every site the brand operates.
This check read the CIF Regulated Entities List as of 4 May 2026. It printed ICFD Ltd, licence number 143/11, licence date 23 May 2011, company registration number 254495, a telephone number, the e-mail info@iforex.eu and the approved trade name iFOREX Europe. CySEC's separate approved-domains list records www.iforex.eu among ten domains approved for the firm. No expiry date, registered address or licence category appears on the entry.
A reader can confirm this by opening the Investment Firms (Cypriot) list on cysec.gov.cy and searching for 143/11 or ICFD Ltd. A qualifier such as Suspended beside the number, a move to the Former Investment Firms list, or a new company name, which CySEC shows inline as an ex name, would each signal a change.
