InvestAZ advertises leverage of up to 1:100. Its September 2025 margin contract caps a non professional client at 50:1, and at 2:1 on crypto. The same contract lets InvestAZ cancel every trading result you have made, treats your signature as consent to the firm using your money for its own obligations, and gives you three working days to dispute a report before the matter is closed for good. The binding contracts are PDFs under About us, Offers. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy links in the footer of every page lead to pages with no text on them.

What the documents say

19 clauses worth knowing about, worst first, each quoted from InvestAZ's own files

01

InvestAZ advertises leverage of up to 1:100 on its trading conditions page. Clause 9.4.1 of the margin offer caps you at 50:1 on major currency pairs, 20:1 on other pairs and gold, 10:1 on commodities and shares, and 2:1 on crypto. Clause 9.4.2 reserves 100:1 for professional and institutional investors.

Why this matters

You may plan a position on the advertised rate and find InvestAZ will not open it. Every asset class on that page is advertised above its contract cap, and on crypto the page offers five times what clause 9.4.1.4 allows.

Exhibit 1CriticalHarder than usual50New

9.4.1. İnvestisiya şirkətinin fərq müqaviləsi üzrə müştərilərinə (institusional və peşəkar investorlar istisna olmaqla) təqdim etdiyi maksimum kredit həddi aşağıdakı qaydada müəyyən edilir:
Clause 9.4.1 in Marja ticarəti xidmətinin təqdim edilməsinə dair ÜMUMİ OFERTA, p.18
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference

What it costsAt the advertised 1:100, $1,000 of margin supports a $100,000 position. At the 50:1 in clause 9.4.1.1 the same $1,000 supports $50,000, half the trade you planned.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), ESMA (EU)

Firms licensed by the FCA and under ESMA rules must cap retail leverage on contracts for difference and must keep their marketing consistent with their terms. The caps in clause 9.4.1 are in the same spirit, but the public pages still quote the higher professional rates to everyone.

InvestAZ is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

02

If InvestAZ decides you scalped without telling it first, clause 9.4.7 lets the firm cancel every trading result you have made from the moment that trading started. Clause 9.1.15 gives it the same power if you take, or merely try to take, other services from its own staff.

Why this matters

Profit you have already banked can be removed long afterwards, and the contract sets no deadline on the decision and no way to appeal it. Skalpinq is defined in clause 2.43 as trading in small price ranges without analysis, which is a judgement InvestAZ makes on its own.

Exhibit 2CriticalRarely seen

9.4.7. Müştəri Skalpinq ticarəti etmək istədikdə bu barədə İnvestisiya Şirkətini məlumatlandırmalıdır. Clause 9.4.7 in Marja ticarəti xidmətinin təqdim edilməsinə dair ÜMUMİ OFERTA, p.19
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference

Our readingMost contracts void profit from a named abuse such as price manipulation. Here one of the triggers is simply asking an InvestAZ employee for other services, and the cancellation reaches back to the first affected trade rather than to the profit from a single act.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 5One set of clauses cancels results for how you traded, the other cancels them for what the market did, so almost any profit has a route to being undone.
03

By accepting the offer you are treated as consenting to InvestAZ using your assets in its own interest or a third party's, and in particular to pay its own obligations. That is clause 5.5 of the margin offer, repeated word for word as clause 4.5 of the brokerage offer.

Why this matters

Your balance stops being money held apart from the firm's. Clause 7.2.5 promises InvestAZ will not use client assets without permission, and clause 5.5 is exactly where that permission is taken from you.

Exhibit 3CriticalRarely seen

5.5. Müştəri Ofertanı aksept etməklə (Müqaviləni imza etməklə) İnvestisiya Şirkəti tərəfindən müştərinin aktivlərindən özünün və ya üçüncü tərəflərin marağı, xüsusilə öhdəliklərinin ödənilməsi üçün istifadə edə bilməsinə dair razılıq vermiş hesab edilir;

Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference
Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA and CySEC must hold retail client money separately from their own and must not apply it to their own liabilities. Both InvestAZ contracts treat acceptance of the offer as consent to the opposite.

InvestAZ is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

Our readingA deemed consent that lets a firm apply client money to its own obligations is a general lien, a device from commercial lending. Pointed at a retail trading balance it removes the line between your money and the firm's, and it is taken at signup rather than asked for when it is used.

04

You have three working days from the moment InvestAZ sends a report on your trades to say you disagree with it. Clause 10.6 then treats your silence as confirmation that the report is correct, and bars you from raising any claim about it in future.

Why this matters

Miss the three days and the trade is closed as a subject, even if you spot the error a month later. The clock starts when InvestAZ sends the report, not when you read it. Clause 15.5 still lets you take the complaint to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA and CySEC must take a retail complaint when it is made and must tell the client about an independent body that will look at it. This contract closes the subject after three working days of silence.

InvestAZ is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 12The three day clock runs against a report whose underlying evidence is InvestAZ's own internal records, which the contract makes the official proof.
05

When local or global markets change significantly, InvestAZ can suspend or cancel your orders and your completed transactions, under clause 7.1.15. Nothing in the contract says what counts as significant, and nothing sets a deadline for the decision.

Why this matters

A trade you closed at a profit in a fast market can be undone afterwards. Clause 9.4.11 lets InvestAZ write a gain off your account if it decides a platform fault produced it, and clause 9.4.8 freezes your balance while that is sorted out.

Exhibit 5CriticalHarder than usual

Every leverage figure InvestAZ advertises is above its own contract cap

InvestAZ advertises up to 1:100 on currencies, 1:50 on commodities and indices, 1:20 on foreign shares and 1:10 on crypto. Clause 9.4.1 of the September 2025 margin offer caps a non professional client at 50:1, 10:1, 10:1 and 2:1. The account comparison page sells 1:100 to anyone depositing $10,000, while clause 9.4.2 reserves that rate for professional and institutional investors. The same pattern runs through the service promises: 24/7 automatic transfers against a three business day clause, and no refused orders against a clause that lets InvestAZ cancel them.

Promise against clause2 clauses flagged

InvestAZ promises 24/7 automatic money transfers on deposits and withdrawals. Its own withdrawal page says the operation takes 1 to 3 bank business days, and clause 8.9 of the margin offer gives the firm three business days.

Why this matters

Money you expect the same day can take most of a week. Withdrawals go only to a bank account in your own name, so the card, wallet or payment terminal you deposited with is not a way out.

Exhibit 16WarningHarder than usual3 working days

8.9. Müştərinin aktivlərinin geri qaytarılması ilə bağlı tələbini İnvestisiya şirkəti növbəti 3 (üç) iş günü ərzində həyata keçirir;
Clause 8.9 in Marja ticarəti xidmətinin təqdim edilməsinə dair ÜMUMİ OFERTA, p.12
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference

The Why InvestAZ page tells you that refused orders and delays will no longer be your problem. Clause 9.4.12 lists the situations where InvestAZ suspends your order and refuses the service, and clause 7.1.15 lets it cancel orders outright.

Why this matters

The promise is on a marketing page and the clause is in the contract you sign. Clause 7.4.14 adds that spread widening has no upper limit and that InvestAZ takes no responsibility for it in any case or form.

InvestAZ fees can rise before you are told and sit outside the fee table

Clause 3.4 of the InvestAZ margin offer makes a new tariff effective on the day the firm decides it, with notice to you up to 15 calendar days later, and clause 8.12 treats your silence as agreement. The published fee schedule covers securities dealing only and states that third party charges are not included. Clause 8.2 puts the spread, the swap and the rollover outside the definition of a service fee, and the brokerage contract lets InvestAZ set its own currency exchange rate.

Cost disclosure4 clauses flagged

Your first withdrawal in any 30 calendar days is free. The second costs 0.50%, and by the fifth InvestAZ charges 2% with a minimum of 45 units, under clause 8.11. InvestAZ prints the same table on its public withdrawal page.

Why this matters

Taking your money out in pieces costs you more than taking it in one go. The minimum charges bite hardest on small withdrawals: a 45 unit floor on a 2% rate means anything below 2,250 units pays more than 2%.

Exhibit 6WarningHarder than usual2%

8.11. Müştərinin məxaric tələbi zamanı İnvestisiya Şirkəti tərəfindən tətbiq olunan komissiyalar müvafiq qaydada aşağıdakı cədvələ uyğun olaraq əməliyyatın keçirildiyi valyutada, həmin günə AR-nın Mərkəzi Bankının müəyyən etdiyi məzənnəyə uyğun AZN ekvivalentində hesablanır.

What it costsA fifth withdrawal of $10,000 inside the same 30 days carries 2%, which is $200. On a $1,000 withdrawal the 2% comes to $20, so the 45 unit minimum is charged instead.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 7A monthly cap forces a large balance out in several withdrawals, and each extra withdrawal inside 30 days moves you up the fee ladder.

InvestAZ can change its tariffs on its own, and clause 3.4 makes a new tariff effective from the day the decision is taken. You are told up to 15 calendar days later. In the brokerage contract, clause 7.2, the notice period is three calendar days.

Why this matters

You can pay a higher fee on trades you placed before you knew the fee had changed. Clause 8.12 then counts your silence during the notice window as agreement to the increase.

Exhibit 8WarningHarder than usual15 days

3.4. Tariflər İnvestisiya Şirkəti tərəfindən birtərəfli qaydada dəyişdirilə bilər. Yeni Tariflər İnvestisiya Şirkəti tərəfindən müvafiq qərarın qəbul edildiyi gündən qüvvəyə minir.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 11The contract lets InvestAZ raise fees on its own in one clause and says a change made by one side alone has no force in another, so you cannot tell which rule applies to you.

The fee schedule the contracts point you to covers securities dealing only, and it says third party charges are not included in it. Clause 8.2 of the margin offer puts the spread, the swap and the rollover outside the definition of a service fee altogether.

Why this matters

The number on the fee page is not what the trade costs you. Trading the listed operations away from an exchange multiplies the fee by 1.5, and clause 7.8 of the brokerage contract puts the cost of moving money in and out on you.

Exhibit 9WarningHarder than usual1.5

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA and CySEC must give a retail client the total cost of a transaction, including third party charges, before the client trades. This fee table excludes third party charges by its own terms.

InvestAZ is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

When InvestAZ converts your currency it uses a rate it sets independently, under clause 8.5.1 of the brokerage contract, and clause 8.5.3 lets that rate change during the day on the firm's own decision. The charge comes out of your money without asking you, under clause 8.5.7.

Why this matters

A conversion spread is a cost you never see as a separate line. Money converted for a service can only come back to you in the currency you first paid in, under clause 8.5.6, so you carry the rate both ways.

A 300,000 unit monthly ceiling InvestAZ can move without asking you

Clause 8.10 of the InvestAZ margin offer limits you to 100,000 units per withdrawal request and 300,000 units a calendar month, and lets the firm change both figures simply by displaying a different number in your investor room. Clause 8.8 lets InvestAZ require your open positions to be closed before it pays. Withdrawals go only to a bank account in your own name, whichever of the five deposit routes you used to get the money in.

Exit conditions1 clause flagged

You can take out at most 100,000 units in one request and 300,000 units in a calendar month, clause 8.10 says. InvestAZ can change both figures just by showing a different number in your investor room.

Why this matters

A large balance cannot leave in a single month. If you hold open positions, clause 8.8 lets InvestAZ require you to close them before it will pay you out.

The InvestAZ contract gives two opposite rules on changing itself

Clause 13.3 of the InvestAZ margin offer says an addition or change made by one side alone has no legal force. Clause 16.3, eleven pages later, repeats that sentence word for word but limits it to changes made by the Client. Meanwhile clauses 3.4, 8.12 and 9.2.19 all let InvestAZ change tariffs, fees and leverage rules on its own, and clause 7.1.8.4 treats your next trade as consent to a new price provider.

Who holds the pen2 clauses flagged

The margin offer says in clause 13.3 that an addition or change made by one side alone has no legal force. Clause 16.3 then repeats that sentence word for word, with two words added so that it binds only you.

Why this matters

If you rely on clause 13.3 to resist a change, InvestAZ can point at clause 16.3 instead. Meanwhile clauses 3.4, 8.12 and 9.2.19 all let the firm change tariffs, fees and leverage rules on its own.

Our readingThe same sentence appears twice in one 26 page contract, once binding both sides and once binding only the client. A contract that holds two opposite rules on who may change it leaves the choice to whoever drafted it.

InvestAZ can change the third party that supplies its prices whenever it decides to, under clause 7.1.8.3. If you open a trade after the notice goes on the website, clause 7.1.8.4 treats that as your consent.

Why this matters

Refusing is not a free option. Clause 7.1.8.5 says the contract then ends, InvestAZ closes your open positions, and it carries no liability for your loss or your lost income.

Three working days of silence and the trade can never be raised again

Clause 10.6 of the InvestAZ margin offer gives you three working days from when a report is sent to say you disagree. After that, your silence counts as confirmation and you may bring no future claim about it. Clause 9.2.24 says a margin call cannot be disputed at all, and clause 14.3 makes InvestAZ's own internal records the official evidence. Clause 15.5 still leaves the Central Bank of Azerbaijan open to you.

Closing the subject1 clause flagged

Sending you a margin call is InvestAZ's right and not its duty, clause 9.2.24 says, and a margin call made that way cannot be disputed. Watching the platform is treated as your job.

Why this matters

If the message never reaches you, that is your problem, and your positions still close when the margin level hits 20%. In any argument that follows, clause 14.3 makes InvestAZ's own internal records the official evidence.

Two working days to produce AML papers or InvestAZ ends the contract

Clause 13.4.6 of the InvestAZ margin offer gives you two business days to supply documents during a periodic anti money laundering update, and lets the firm terminate if you miss them. Clause 5.11 halts your operations for five business days when a discrepancy is found and gives you 30 calendar days to explain. Clause 5.4 treats your signature as consent for InvestAZ to pull your identity, workplace and income data from third parties, and the privacy policy page it links has no text on it.

When InvestAZ asks for updated anti money laundering documents, you have two working days to produce them. Clause 13.4.6 lets the firm end the contract if you do not.

Your counterparty is "İNVEST-AZ İNVESTİSİYA ŞİRKƏTİ" QSC, a closed joint stock company in Baku, tax number 1800354501, with no offshore arm and no second entity for international clients. Both contracts cite licence № 087986 of 09.01.2016 and name the Central Bank of Azerbaijan as the markets supervisor, while the licences page cites İSN/L-38/2016 from the Ministry of Economy. Neither contract names an investor compensation scheme.

In plain words

Who you contract with1 clause flagged

You contract with "İNVEST-AZ İNVESTİSİYA ŞİRKƏTİ" QSC, a closed joint stock company in Baku. Both contracts give licence № 087986 of 09.01.2016 and name the Central Bank of Azerbaijan as the body supervising financial markets. The licences page gives a different identifier for the same activity, İSN/L-38/2016, issued by the Ministry of Economy.

Why this matters

Checking a licence means knowing which number to check, and InvestAZ publishes two. Neither contract names an investor compensation scheme, so nothing in writing says what happens to your money if the firm fails.

Clause 1.1 in Marja ticarəti xidmətinin təqdim edilməsinə dair ÜMUMİ OFERTA, p.2
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference
Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA and CySEC must tell a retail client which investor compensation scheme covers them and up to what limit. Neither InvestAZ contract names a scheme.

InvestAZ is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

The documents this reading is based on

7 files, all published by InvestAZ. Each shows when we read it and a fingerprint of its wording.

WIKILIX keeps the copy of each file it read, and does not republish it: what is published is the fingerprint of its wording. Download the file yourself and hash its text, lowercased with runs of whitespace collapsed, and a matching fingerprint means the wording quoted above is still the wording InvestAZ publishes.

Who the contract is with

“İNVEST-AZ İNVESTİSİYA ŞİRKƏTİ” QSC

You contract with "İNVEST-AZ İNVESTİSİYA ŞİRKƏTİ" QSC, a closed joint stock company registered in Baku, tax number 1800354501. There is only one entity: both the margin trading offer and the brokerage offer name it, and there is no offshore arm and no second company for international clients. The contracts name the Central Bank of Azerbaijan as the body supervising financial markets and give licence № 087986 of 09.01.2016. The licences page gives a different identifier for the same activity, İSN/L-38/2016, issued by the Ministry of Economy.

Quotations are copied verbatim from the documents named above, with the clause number and the page each one came from. Where a clause is quoted in another language, the original is shown first and the English is a translation.

The plain-language parts, what a clause means for a client, how ordinary it is, and how it reads against a regulated standard, are WIKILIX's analysis and are labelled as such on every card. This is a reading of public documents, not legal advice and not an allegation of wrongdoing.

In fairness, and what we could not check

A reader who knows the edges of the work can trust the middle of it

InvestAZ keeps a public archive of its own superseded contracts, each dated and labelled in force or no longer in force, going back to January 2023. Very few brokers let you read what they used to make clients sign. The tiered withdrawal fee is printed on the public withdrawal page as well as in the contract, swap rates and target spreads are published per instrument, and audited IFRS accounts are posted back to 2018. Clause 9.2.30 of the margin offer gives you negative balance protection: if volatility takes you past your deposit, InvestAZ does not chase you for the shortfall. Clause 9.1.6.2 makes a new client complete at least 30 trades over at least five business days on a demo account first. Clause 15.5 points you to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan if you are unhappy with the answer to a complaint.

InvestAZ links Terms of Use and a Privacy Policy in the footer of every page, and both pages carry no text at all. There are no published terms of use and no published privacy policy to read, so the only privacy terms are the confidentiality clauses inside the two contracts. We read the margin trading offer of 12.09.2025 from end to end and most of the brokerage offer of 10.09.2025. We compared the current margin offer against the superseded November 2023 one. We did not read the application form, and we did not read the superseded brokerage offer of February 2024. Both contracts are published in Azerbaijani only, and every quotation here is translated by us. This is our first reading of InvestAZ, so there is nothing to compare it against.

How to check any of this yourself

Every quote above links to the InvestAZ file it came from. This is what to do with it.

Open the three stepsFind the words in the source, work out the fingerprint, and read what a difference does and does not prove.

Open the source and search for the words

Every quote has a link under it. Open the file, or the web page, and search it for the words we quote. The clause number next to the quote tells you where to look.

If the words are not there any more, the source may have changed after we read it. That is worth knowing too. We keep the date we read it, and a code worked out from its wording, so the quote stays checkable.

What a fingerprint is

A fingerprint is a code worked out from what a source says. Change one word and the code changes completely. We keep two codes for every file we read, and the panel on each source shows both.

The first is the code of the exact file we downloaded. The second is the code of its wording alone, with capital letters lowered and runs of spaces collapsed. When the same words are saved as a new file, the first code changes and the second one stays the same.

Only the first code can be worked out on your own computer. Save the file, then run one of these, putting the name of the file you saved where the example is. The panel on each source prints the command with that source's real file name already in it.

macOS or Linux:
  shasum -a 256 the-file-you-saved.pdf

Windows:
  certutil -hashfile the-file-you-saved.pdf SHA256

The two codes are different from each other, and they are not meant to match. Comparing one against the other proves nothing.

What a difference means, and what it does not

A different file code on its own proves nothing. A PDF saved again with a new date inside it is a new file saying exactly the same thing.

A different wording code means the words themselves changed. That is the one that matters, and it is why we keep it.

Even then, a change is not proof of bad faith. Companies update their documents. What this report says is what the document said on the day we read it, and every quote carries that date.

A source that is a web page and not a file has no file to save, so only the code of its wording is shown.

How this report is made

Every clause quoted above comes from a document InvestAZ publishes on its own website, downloaded and hashed on the date shown, with the clause number and page recorded so any reader can check it. We do not allege anything the documents do not say, and we do not judge InvestAZ on anything other than its own published terms and its own public marketing. Where a clause has a qualifier that softens it, the report says so. Last read Oct 2, 2026.

If you represent InvestAZ and a clause has changed, been withdrawn, or is being read out of context, tell us and we will re-read the documents and update this page. Corrections from the broker are welcome and are published with the reading they change. Contact us.

This is a reading of a contract, not legal advice and not a ruling on InvestAZ. Whether its licence is real and current is a separate check on the broker profile.
