Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
6/10 · HighA genuine Securities Dealer licence, SD193, confirmed in force on the Seychelles FSA's own register and correctly matched to this entity and website, but Seychelles is a light-touch offshore regulator with no compensation scheme.
Identity & transparency
3/10 · LowEntity, company number, registered and physical addresses, phone and licence are all published and match the regulator's file exactly. Ownership and leadership are not disclosed, and there is no social presence.
Withdrawals & conduct
4/10 · ModerateTwo reports of pressure to redeposit and one of slow withdrawals, with no confirmed refusal and no credible advance-fee demand. Both fund-related reports sit on a single platform, so the pattern is unconfirmed.
Reputation
6/10 · HighTrustpilot suspended the rating for a guidelines breach and removed fake reviews, so the visible sentiment is manipulated. Against that, no regulator warning exists and the genuine complaint volume is low.
Website claims
3/10 · LowThe site describes its licence accurately, names the entity and registration number, warns clearly about risk and makes no founding-year or profit claims. Unlabelled award badges are the only overstatement.
Operational history
5/10 · ModerateDomain registered March 2023 and first archived mid-2024, giving a little over three years at most. The Seychelles registry is not publicly searchable, so the company could not be dated and the figure is an upper bound.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
We rate LEKFI high risk because the good news and the bad news sit side by side, and neither cancels the other.
- The licence is genuine and it is theirs. We opened the Seychelles FSA Securities Dealer register and found Emerald Ltd. The entry records the trading name LEKFI, the website lekfi.com and the office address at Providence Complex. All three match what the broker publishes. This is the check that catches fake brokers wearing another firm's licence, and LEKFI passes it cleanly.
- But a Seychelles licence is weak protection. It permits the business to operate. It does not give you a compensation scheme or an ombudsman with real teeth. If a dispute goes badly, your practical options are limited.
- The reputation record has been tampered with. Trustpilot has taken the unusual step of suspending LEKFI's rating for a breach of its guidelines, and states it removed a number of fake reviews for this company. That is the platform's own finding, not ours. It means the positive reviews on the page cannot be read as reassurance.
- The complaints we did find are concerning but unproven. Two reviewers describe being encouraged to keep putting money in, one reporting a loss of about 26,000 dollars. A single review elsewhere mentions slow withdrawals and generic support replies. We found no confirmed refusal to pay a withdrawal, and no credible demand for an extra fee or tax to release funds. Both fund-related complaints sit on one platform, so the pattern is not independently confirmed.
- The track record is short and only half of it could be checked. The domain dates to March 2023, so the operation is a little over three years old at most. The Seychelles company registry is not publicly searchable, so we could not date Emerald Ltd itself. That makes our age figure an upper bound, not a floor.
- Nothing points to fraud. No regulator anywhere has issued a warning about LEKFI or Emerald Ltd. The site is honest about what it is: it names the entity, the registration number, both addresses and the licence, and it does not pretend to a history it cannot support.
We should flag one thing about the search results. Several pages that rank highly for LEKFI assert it is unregulated and has no regulator at all. That is factually wrong, and we disproved it by reading the regulator's own register. Those pages follow a familiar template and we gave them no weight.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The Seychelles Financial Services Authority lists Emerald Ltd on its Securities Dealer register, and the entry records the trading name LEKFI and the website www.Lekfi.com. The licence belongs to this operation.
E2The address held by the regulator, Providence Complex Office A17.G, is the same physical office LEKFI publishes on its own site, and the phone number matches too. All three legs of the identity check line up.
E3Trustpilot states that LEKFI's rating is unavailable due to a breach of its guidelines, and that it removed a number of fake reviews for this company. The review record has been manipulated.
E4The domain lekfi.com was registered on 28 March 2023 through registrar 1API GmbH, placing the operation at a little over three years old.
E5Two Trustpilot reviewers describe being encouraged to keep depositing after losses, one reporting a total loss of about 26,000 dollars and the other saying they were dropped when they declined to reinvest. Neither describes a refused withdrawal.
E6LEKFI's own legal pages name the operating entity, its Seychelles registration number 8436162-1, both addresses and the licence number, and set out restricted jurisdictions. The disclosure is complete and consistent.
ModerateLEKFI legal documents pageE7The homepage carries no founding-year or track-record claim and a 2024 copyright, so the broker is not advertising a history it cannot support.
ModerateLEKFI homepage footerE8A second broker review platform carries a single user review citing platform lag in volatile markets, slow withdrawals and generic support replies. The footprint on that site is too thin to establish a pattern.
E9The licence holder's own corporate site publishes the same entity name, registration number, licence number and addresses as the broker site, with no conflicting details.
ModerateEmerald Ltd corporate siteE10The related domain companyemerald.com was registered on 6 December 2023 through the same registrar as the main site, consistent with one operator running both.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The case that LEKFI is a legitimate small offshore broker is stronger than its search results suggest.
- The licence check is not a near miss. It is an exact match on entity name, trading name, website and street address. Fake operations almost never survive that test, because the regulator's file names a different company or a different site.
- The broker discloses more than it has to: company number, registered address, a separate physical office, a landline, and a plain risk warning that says you may lose everything.
- It makes no age or performance claims. There is no 'trading since 2010' banner on a 2023 domain, which is one of the most common lies in this industry and one LEKFI does not tell.
- It refuses United States clients rather than quietly soliciting them, which is what a business trying to stay inside its licence does.
- No regulator has warned about it. Not one, in over three years of operation.
- The bulk of the negative feedback is about product limits: assets not offered, leverage caps, verification taking three days, no American Express, no copy trading. Those are complaints about a modest product, not about stolen money.
- The fake-review removal is genuinely bad, but it is evidence of aggressive marketing rather than proof that client funds are at risk. Plenty of real companies buy reviews.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
Concrete things that would move this verdict in either direction.
- Worse, quickly: two or more independent, specific accounts across different platforms of a withdrawal being refused, or of a fee or tax being demanded before funds are released. That single pattern would push this toward a scam verdict.
- Worse: any regulator adding LEKFI or Emerald Ltd to a warning or alert list, or the Seychelles FSA suspending or cancelling licence SD193.
- Worse: confirmation that LEKFI shares ownership or infrastructure with another broker carrying a regulator action. One reviewer alleges a link to a brand called GInfi, but that is a different company under a different regulator and we found nothing tying the two together.
- Better: a documented incorporation date for Emerald Ltd showing a longer history than the domain suggests, which would firm up a track record we can currently only cap.
- Better: a clean, unmanipulated review record building up over the next year, with users confirming withdrawals actually arrived.
- Better: a licence from a tier one or tier two regulator, which would bring real compensation cover.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is LEKFI a scam?
We found no evidence that LEKFI is a scam. Its Seychelles licence is genuine and we confirmed it on the regulator's own register. However, we rate it high risk because the licence offers weak protection, the operation is barely three years old, and its review record has been manipulated.
Is LEKFI regulated?
Yes. Emerald Ltd, which trades as LEKFI, holds Securities Dealer licence SD193 from the Seychelles Financial Services Authority. We opened that register and the entry records the LEKFI trading name and the lekfi.com website, so the licence genuinely belongs to this operation.
How good is a Seychelles FSA licence?
It is a low tier offshore licence. It confirms the company is authorised and subject to some oversight, but there is no investor compensation scheme. If the firm fails or refuses to pay you, there is no fund that reimburses you, unlike in the UK or Australia.
Can I withdraw my money from LEKFI?
We found no confirmed case of a withdrawal being refused. One reviewer on a broker review site described withdrawals as slow with generic support replies. Test with a small withdrawal before depositing a large sum.
Is my money safe with LEKFI?
Your money is not protected by any compensation scheme. The broker states client funds are held in segregated accounts, but we could not independently verify that. Treat any deposit as money you could lose.
Who owns LEKFI?
LEKFI is a brand of Emerald Ltd, a Seychelles company with registration number 8436162-1, registered at CT House, Office 9A, Providence, Mahe. The individual owners and directors are not disclosed publicly, and the Seychelles company registry is not open to public search.
How old is LEKFI?
The lekfi.com domain was registered on 28 March 2023, and the site first appears in web archives in June 2024. That makes the operation a little over three years old at most. We could not date the company itself, so this figure is an upper limit rather than a confirmed history.
Why has Trustpilot removed LEKFI's rating?
Trustpilot states that LEKFI's rating is unavailable due to a breach of its guidelines, and that it removed a number of fake reviews for this company. That is Trustpilot's own finding. It means you should not rely on the remaining star ratings in either direction.
Is LEKFI a clone of another broker?
No. We ran the standard clone check and LEKFI passed it. The regulator's file for licence SD193 names Emerald Ltd, the LEKFI trading name and the lekfi.com website, all matching what the broker publishes. It is not wearing another company's credentials.
Is LEKFI connected to a broker called GInfi?
One Trustpilot reviewer claims they share an owner. We checked and could not confirm it. GInfi appears to be a different company operating under a South African licence, and we found nothing tying the two operations together. Treat the claim as unverified.
Does LEKFI accept clients from the United States?
No. The broker states it does not open accounts for residents of the United States, Iran, North Korea, Myanmar and Russia.
What should I check before depositing with LEKFI?
Confirm licence SD193 still shows Emerald Ltd on the Seychelles FSA register. Read the bonus terms, since bonuses often lock withdrawals until a trading volume is met. Deposit a small amount first and successfully withdraw part of it before committing more.
What do I do if I think I have been scammed by LEKFI?
Stop depositing immediately and never pay a fee to release your funds. Gather your transaction records and complain in writing to the broker, then to the Seychelles Financial Services Authority. Contact your bank or card provider about a chargeback, and be wary of recovery firms that approach you afterwards, as many are a second scam.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat LEKFI as a high risk venue and size your exposure accordingly.
- Do not deposit money you cannot afford to lose outright. A Seychelles licence will not get it back for you.
- Before committing anything meaningful, deposit a small amount and withdraw part of it. Confirm the money reaches your account, and note how long it takes.
- Never send a further payment to release a withdrawal. No legitimate broker requires a tax, fee or insurance payment before paying you out. If you are asked, stop and treat it as fraud.
- Ignore the star ratings. Trustpilot removed fake reviews here and suspended the score, so the visible sentiment is not a reliable guide in either direction.
- Be wary of anyone urging you to top up after a loss. Two reviewers describe exactly that pressure.
- Verify the licence yourself on the Seychelles FSA register before depositing, and check that the entity still reads Emerald Ltd.
- If you believe you have been defrauded, report it to the Seychelles Financial Services Authority and to your bank or card issuer immediately. Do not pay a recovery service that contacts you.
