Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
7/10 · HighNo financial licence anywhere. Two claimed licences absent from the issuers' own registers, a third is a company registration in a jurisdiction that licenses no forex, plus a Bank of Russia warning entry naming the exact website.
Identity & transparency
8/10 · CriticalTwo other companies' registration numbers published as its own, a contract that named two different counterparties, two conflicting Dubai addresses and no named owners. Credit where due: the Saint Vincent company is real, registered and active with a disclosed agent.
Withdrawals & conduct
9/10 · CriticalFund integrity pattern meeting all four tests: one mechanism, clustered June to October 2025, across more than one platform, with amounts, dates and named traders. Withdrawals refused, roughly 27,000 dollars of profit voided, accounts disabled on balances, none answered.
Reputation
9/10 · CriticalTrustpilot stands at 1.0 stars with every review at one star, a regulator has listed the website, no credible positive client footprint exists, and recovery agents are now advertising under its review pages.
Website claims
10/10 · CriticalTold clients it operates under strict international financial regulations with investments protected, presented company registrations as licences, and claimed more than 20 years against a company incorporated in 2023.
Operational history
8/10 · CriticalThree years and seven months of evidenced history against an advertised 20 plus, and the operation has since churned out: last page served 1 September 2025, registration lapsed, domain re-registered in March 2026 with nothing behind it.
Who they are
A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.
What the operation actually was, from its own documents and the corporate register:
- Brand: Liyan Broker
- Legal entity: Liyan Trading LLC, registration 2886 LLC 2023, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, incorporated 7 February 2023. Its own client agreement names this company as the broker. The site footer separately names Liyan Trading LTD, registration 2023-00393, Saint Lucia.
- Registered: Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre, Beachmont, Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, through the agent Wilfred Services Ltd.
- Offices advertised: Dubai, Kingstown and Rodney Bay. The site gave two different Dubai addresses, one in Al Gurg Tower 3 in Al Buteen and one on the 21st floor of The Binary Tower in Business Bay.
- Website: liyanbroker.com, which no longer serves a page. Client area at my.liyanbroker.com.
- Only licence: none. No financial regulator in any jurisdiction authorised this business to hold client money or deal in currencies.
- Offers: forex, CFDs, commodities, indices and crypto on MetaTrader 5 and cTrader, a 20 dollar minimum deposit, leverage to 1:1000, copy trading, PAMM and MAM accounts, and a funded trader programme. Deposit rails included Iranian rial channels, and the active social accounts were Persian language.
- Not accepted: residents of Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.
- Age claim: more than 20 years, stated in the footer of every page. Its own history page begins in 2020 and the company that signed clients up was incorporated in 2023.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
Two findings would each be close to decisive on their own, and they point the same way. Everything below rests on a regulator page or a corporate register entry, not on opinion.
- A regulator named the exact website. The Bank of Russia maintains a list of companies with detected signs of illegal activity in the financial market. Its entry for LIYANBROKER.COM gives the website as liyanbroker.com, records the determination as signs of an illegal professional securities market participant, and dates the listing 16 January 2025.
- The licence page carried another company's registration number. Under the heading for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the page printed registration number 26505 BC 2021. The Saint Vincent register returns UNFXB Limited for that number, a business company incorporated on 28 October 2021. UNFXB publishes the same number as its own on its own site. Liyan Broker disclosed no connection to it.
- The client contract named a third company's number. Clause 2.2 of the Liyan client agreement reads that the broker is LIYAN TRADING, registered office Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre, Kingstown, registration number 20389 IBC 2012. That number belongs to Alpari Limited, incorporated 16 May 2012. The definitions section of the same contract uses a different number, 2886 LLC 2023, for the company. One contract, two counterparties, one of them somebody else's.
- The Mauritius licence does not exist. The site claimed Mauritius regulation under number AC48008. The Mauritius Financial Services Commission publishes a searchable register of every entity it licenses, approves, authorises or registers. Searching the entity name and then the shorter stem Liy returns no data at all. A claim first made in 2023 cannot be explained by processing delay.
- The Comoros licence does not exist either. The site claimed Moheli regulation under number DDC56718. Mwali publishes its authorised brokerage companies as a full list with licence numbers, dates and status. Neither the company nor that number appears in it, in the edition published while the claim was live or in a later one, and Mwali numbers its brokerage licences in a different series entirely.
- The Saint Vincent registration is not regulation. The register entry is real and current: Liyan Trading LLC, number 2886, entity type limited liability company, status active, incorporated 7 February 2023. It is a corporate registration with no financial permission attached, which is why the register records no licence type. The broker's own history page nonetheless describes it as our St. Vincent and the Grenadines License.
- The homepage promised protection the business could not give. Its final published version stated that the firm operates under strict international financial regulations and that its commitment to compliance ensures your investments are protected. Nothing authorised this business anywhere.
- The 20 year history was invented. The footer claimed more than 20 glorious years of providing Forex and Financial Services Worldwide. The company's own timeline opens in March 2020, the contracting company was incorporated in February 2023, and the first archived capture of the website is 21 January 2023.
- Clients were not paid. Trustpilot holds five reviews of liyanbroker.com, all one star, between 13 June and 9 October 2025. One trader deposited 1,400 dollars, made 819 dollars, was paid 800 dollars, then had further withdrawals refused and the account closed on a claim that a device identifier matched a fraudulent account. Another was told after two weeks that MetaQuotes had bugs, that roughly 27,000 dollars of profit was therefore not valid, and then found the account disabled. A third had withdrawals repeatedly rejected without explanation before suspension. A fourth said the funded trader rules were changed and payouts stopped. An independent review site carries the same accounts from named traders across August to October 2025. The company had claimed its Trustpilot profile in October 2024 and answered none of them.
- Then it went quiet. The last archived page is dated 1 September 2025. The domain registration was allowed to lapse and the name was taken out again on 20 March 2026, with no website behind it. A business that stops answering withdrawal requests and then disappears has completed the pattern, rather than merely performing badly at it.
On dates, the three years and seven months of operating history we can evidence rests on the Saint Vincent incorporation of 7 February 2023 and on a domain first registered at the end of December 2022. The Saint Lucia company could not be dated because that registry publishes no free public search, so it does not contribute to the figure.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The Bank of Russia lists LIYANBROKER.COM in its register of companies with detected signs of illegal activity in the financial market. The entry gives the website as liyanbroker.com, the determination as signs of an illegal professional securities market participant, and the date added as 16 January 2025.
E2The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines FSA entity register returns, for registration number 26505, the company UNFXB Limited, a business company incorporated 28 October 2021 through the agent Euro-Caribbean Trustees Ltd. The same register returns, for the name Liyan, only Liyan Trading LLC under number 2886.
E3The broker's own License and Regulation page published, under the heading Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the registration number 26505 BC 2021, alongside Mauritius AC48008 and Moheli DDC56718. The narrative on the same page also dates the Saint Vincent regulation to 2021 while giving a number ending 2023.
E4The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines FSA entity register returns, for registration number 20389, the company Alpari Limited, a business company incorporated 16 May 2012.
E5Clause 2.2 of the Liyan client agreement states that the broker is LIYAN TRADING, registered office Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre, Kingstown, registration number 20389 IBC 2012. The definitions section of the same agreement defines the company as Liyan Trading LLC under registration number 2886 LLC 2023, and makes Saint Vincent law the governing law.
E6The Mauritius Financial Services Commission Online Public Register, which lists every entity it licenses, approves, authorises or registers, returns no data for the name Liyan and none for the shorter stem Liy. No Mauritius licence corresponds to the claimed number AC48008.
E7The Mwali International Services Authority list of authorised brokerage companies contains no Liyan entity and no number DDC56718, in the edition published while the claim was live and in a later one. Mwali numbers its brokerage licences in an entirely different series.
E8The Saint Vincent register records Liyan Trading LLC, number 2886, entity type limited liability company, status active, incorporated 7 February 2023, agent Wilfred Services Ltd. It is a corporate registration with no financial licence attached, which the broker's own history page described as our St. Vincent and the Grenadines License.
E9The broker's own history page opens in March 2020 and records getting the Saint Vincent number in February 2023, while the footer of the same page claims more than 20 glorious years of providing Forex and Financial Services Worldwide.
E10The last published homepage told visitors that the firm operates under strict international financial regulations and that its commitment to compliance ensures your investments are protected, alongside a 20 dollar minimum deposit and leverage to 1:1000. No regulator authorised the business.
E11Trustpilot holds five reviews of liyanbroker.com, all one star, between 13 June and 9 October 2025, under the company name Liyan Trading LLC. They describe a 500 dollar withdrawal refused after 800 dollars had been paid out and the account then closed on a device identifier claim, withdrawals repeatedly rejected without explanation before suspension, roughly 27,000 dollars of profit voided as a MetaQuotes bug with the account disabled, and funded trader payouts stopped. The profile was claimed by the company in October 2024 and none were answered.
E12An independent review platform carries eight entries for liyanbroker.com. Named traders describe the same failures across August to October 2025: 1,400 dollars deposited and 819 dollars made with 800 dollars paid and the rest refused before closure, withdrawals rejected with the account placed under review and profits declared invalid, and funded trader rules changed with payouts stopped. Several apparent five star entries are fund recovery advertisements rather than client reviews.
E13The contact page gave three offices, in Dubai, Kingstown and Rodney Bay, with the Dubai address on the 21st floor of The Binary Tower in Business Bay, while the footer of the same page placed the Dubai office in Al Gurg Tower 3 in Al Buteen. The LinkedIn and X icons linked nowhere, and the page printed two different spellings of its own contact email.
E14The domain registration record for liyanbroker.com now dates from 20 March 2026 and runs to 20 March 2028, held through GoDaddy on Cloudflare nameservers. The name was first registered at the end of December 2022, so the registration lapsed and was taken out again after the business stopped publishing.
E15liyanbroker.com publishes no address record, so the website does not resolve for visitors. Taken with the last archived page of 1 September 2025, the site has served nothing for more than a year while clients were still describing unpaid balances.
E16UNFXB publishes registration number 26505 BC 2021 as its own on its regulations page, alongside a Saint Lucia registration numbered 2024-00028. This confirms the number Liyan Broker printed as its Saint Vincent registration is in use by a different operation.
ModerateUNFXB regulations pageE17The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines FSA investor alert list does not name Liyan, Liyan Trading or liyanbroker.com. Recorded for completeness: its home regulator has published no alert about it, and no enforcement action or fraud related court judgment naming the company was found in any jurisdiction.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The innocent readings were tested first. These are the explanations we tested and what each returned.
- A regional arm of a real regulated group? No. There is no licensed parent. The Mauritius register has no Liyan entity of any kind, and the two Saint Vincent companies and the Saint Lucia company are standalone offshore registrations with no regulated affiliate above them.
- A rebrand carrying an older history? We found no earlier brand or domain operated by this business, and no announcement of a transition. The two numbers taken from other companies belong to operations that were running at the same time, not before it, so they do not give Liyan an inherited history either.
- Registers lagging behind a new licence? Cannot apply. The Mauritius and Moheli claims were published in 2023 and the registers were checked years later, and the Moheli list was checked in two separate editions spanning December 2023 to April 2025.
- A different company with a similar name? No. Every source here is tied to liyanbroker.com or to the entity named in its own client agreement. The Trustpilot page is per domain, the Bank of Russia entry gives the website field as liyanbroker.com, and the register entry matches the company named in the contract.
- A funded trader firm, which needs no broker licence? Partly, and it does not rescue the case. The business did run a funded trader programme, but it also opened live accounts from a 20 dollar deposit, published a client agreement governing client money, and advertised deposit and withdrawal rails. That is a brokerage, and the licensing analysis applies to it.
- An ordinary offshore broker, risky but honest? That is the reading we would have preferred, and it fails. An offshore broker has an offshore licence. This one had none, told clients it had three, and used two other companies' registration numbers.
What counts in its favour: the Saint Vincent company is real, currently registered and active, with a disclosed registered office and agent. The trading platforms it advertised were genuine third party software. We found no enforcement action and no fraud related court judgment naming the company in any jurisdiction, and the Saint Vincent regulator's own investor alert list does not name it.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
This verdict is falsifiable. Any of the following would force us to revisit it, and we would.
- The Mauritius Financial Services Commission register returning a current licence under number AC48008 held by Liyan Trading LLC or Liyan Trading LTD.
- Mwali listing the company and number DDC56718 among its authorised brokerage companies with a date of issue predating the claim.
- The Bank of Russia removing LIYANBROKER.COM from its list, which a company is entitled to apply for.
- Documentation showing that UNFXB Limited and Liyan Trading LLC were a single disclosed group, which would change the character of the 26505 BC 2021 finding from using another firm's number to poor disclosure within one. It would not touch the Alpari number in clause 2.2.
- Evidence that the traders describing refused withdrawals were paid, for instance dated settlement records or a public resolution of those specific cases.
- A named predecessor domain with continuous archive history that would support the 20 year claim. None exists as far as we can establish.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is Liyan Broker a scam?
Yes. We assess Liyan Broker as a scam and rate the risk at 90%. It held no financial licence anywhere while telling clients it was regulated in three jurisdictions, it published two other companies' registration numbers as its own, the Bank of Russia listed its website for signs of illegal activity, and traders were refused withdrawals before the site went dark.
Is Liyan Broker a fraud?
We do not state that as a legal finding, because no court or regulator has. What we can state is the conduct and who found it. The Bank of Russia recorded signs of an illegal professional securities market participant against liyanbroker.com on 16 January 2025. Clients describe deposits accepted and withdrawals then refused, with profits cancelled as a platform bug. On that record we assess the risk of fraud as high.
Was Liyan Broker regulated?
No. It named Mauritius, the Comoros island of Moheli and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Mauritius has no record of any Liyan entity on its licence register, Moheli never listed it among its authorised brokerage companies, and the Saint Vincent entry is a plain company registration with no financial permission attached.
What is 2886 LLC 2023 actually worth?
It is a genuine Saint Vincent limited liability company registration, active, dated 7 February 2023. It proves a company exists. It does not authorise anyone to hold your money or deal in currencies, there is no capital requirement behind it, and there is no compensation scheme. Calling it a licence, as the broker's own pages did, is the misrepresentation.
Why does it matter that the licence page showed 26505 BC 2021?
Because that number is not theirs. The Saint Vincent register returns UNFXB Limited for it, a separate company incorporated on 28 October 2021, and UNFXB publishes the same number on its own website. Liyan Broker's own Saint Vincent number was 2886. Publishing another company's registration number as your own credential is the core deception, not a clerical slip.
What was wrong with the client agreement?
Clause 2.2, the clause that identifies who you are contracting with, said the broker was LIYAN TRADING with registration number 20389 IBC 2012. That number belongs to Alpari Limited, an unrelated company incorporated in 2012. The definitions section of the same document used a different number. The contract governing your money did not reliably identify the company holding it.
Can I withdraw my money from Liyan Broker?
Most likely not through the platform. The website has served no pages since 1 September 2025 and the domain now resolves to nothing. Your realistic routes are a chargeback or recall through whichever payment provider you used, and a report to your national regulator and police. Move quickly, because payment dispute windows close.
Was my money ever safe there?
No. There was no regulator supervising how client funds were held, no requirement to keep them separate from the firm's own money, and no compensation scheme if the firm failed. The complaints are consistent with that: balances and profits were cancelled by the firm itself, with no authority a client could appeal to.
Who owned Liyan Broker?
Not disclosed. The contracting company is Liyan Trading LLC in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, held through the agent Wilfred Services Ltd, and the footer also named Liyan Trading LTD in Saint Lucia. Neither jurisdiction publishes owners or directors, the website named no executives, and the LinkedIn and X icons in its footer linked nowhere.
How old was Liyan Broker really?
About three and a half years at most, and it operated for less than three. The contracting company was incorporated in February 2023 and the domain was first registered at the end of December 2022. The footer claimed more than 20 years, which its own history page, beginning in 2020, already contradicted.
Is Liyan Broker a clone of another broker?
No, not in the usual sense. It traded under its own name rather than impersonating a well known brand. What it did do is use two other companies' registration numbers, UNFXB Limited's on its licence page and Alpari Limited's in its client contract. Those firms are the ones whose identifiers were taken, not partners.
Someone has offered to get my money back from Liyan Broker. Should I pay?
No. Its review pages now carry posts praising recovery agents for returning sums like 70,800 dollars and 210,000 pounds, which is the standard follow up to a collapsed broker. Anyone asking for a fee, a tax or an unlock payment before releasing your funds is running a second scam. Use your bank and your regulator instead, both of which are free.
What should I check before depositing with any offshore broker?
Three things, in this order. Open the regulator's own register yourself and find the licence. Check that the licensed entity is the exact company named in the client agreement you are signing. Check that the permission covers dealing in the products you want to trade, not just company registration or advice. If any of the three fails, do not deposit.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Do not send money to this operation, and be careful about what happens next.
- Do not deposit. The website no longer serves pages. Any site, app or account manager now presenting itself as Liyan Broker should be treated as unconnected to the original business until proven otherwise.
- If you have a balance, document it now. Save account statements, deposit receipts, withdrawal request confirmations, transaction identifiers and the full support correspondence. Take your own copies rather than relying on a platform you cannot reach.
- Go through your payment provider. Card deposits may be open to a chargeback, and bank transfers can sometimes be recalled. Act quickly, because these windows are measured in months.
- Report it where you live. File with your national financial regulator and your police or cybercrime unit. The Bank of Russia listing is useful supporting material if you are in Russia.
- Ignore anyone offering to recover your funds. Review pages for this broker now carry glowing posts crediting recovery agents with returning large sums. That pattern follows collapsed brokers reliably, and paying an upfront fee to a recovery agent is how people lose money a second time. No legitimate recovery service asks for payment in advance.
- Before any broker, check three things. That the regulator's own register shows the licence, that the licensed entity is the same company your contract names, and that the licence permits dealing rather than only registering a company.
This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears. Review scores are treated with caution when a broker’s reviews look manipulated. Last reviewed October 10, 2026.
