Independent safety report

Is Mazi Finance a scam?

Likely scamMEDIUM confidence
Updated August 17, 2026
Withdrawal trap / unlicensed offshore broker

Mazi Finance is a high risk, unlicensed offshore broker that we rate a likely scam. It holds no financial licence anywhere, and several traders report that their profits and withdrawals were confiscated once they became profitable.

  • It names no financial regulator. The only registration it shows is a Saint Lucia international business company (IBC 2023-00404), which is a company registration, not financial regulation.
  • The operation is under three years old. The website domain was created in August 2023 and the company was registered in 2023.
  • The same website previously traded as Sento Markets, from the same Saint Lucia address, and carried the same withdrawal complaints.
  • Multiple traders describe the same trap: deposits and trading work fine, but profitable accounts are hit with vague toxic trading or scalping clauses and are only offered their deposit back.
  • Its independent review page had its rating removed for a guidelines breach after fake reviews were deleted.

Risk scorecard

Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.

Worst area: Critical
SeverityLowModerateHighCritical

Regulation

7/10 · High

No financial licence at all while taking client deposits with 1:2000 leverage. Only a Saint Lucia IBC company registration, which is not regulation.

Identity & transparency

7/10 · High

Discloses an entity and address, but rebranded from Sento Markets to shed reputation, names no management, and reviewers report no real office or staff.

Withdrawals & conduct

8/10 · Critical

Fund integrity pattern: profits confiscated via toxic trading clauses and withdrawals denied, with specific amounts and dates across several platforms. A few resolved payouts prevent the top of the scale.

Reputation

8/10 · Critical

Review rating removed for a guidelines breach after fake reviews were deleted, majority one star complaints, and aggregators flag use with caution.

Website claims

7/10 · High

Inflated unverifiable stats and self styled awards, plus institutional grade and segregated funds language with no regulation to back it. No explicit false tier-1 licence claim.

Operational history

6/10 · High

Under three years old, and continuity resets again via the Sento Markets rebrand. Vague trusted by thousands claim with no evidenced history.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

  • Brand: MaziFinance (Mazi Finance)
  • Legal entity: MaziMatic Financial Services LTD
  • Registered: Saint Lucia, IBC registration number 2023-00404. Address: Ground Floor, The Sotheby Building, Rodney Village, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia
  • Website: mazifinance.com (login and trading at dashboard.mazifinance.com and trade.mazifinance.com)
  • Only licence: None. A Saint Lucia IBC number is a company registration, not a trading licence, and Saint Lucia does not regulate forex or CFD brokers
  • Offers: Forex, gold, crypto, indices, stocks and commodities as CFDs on MetaTrader 5, leverage up to 1:2000, zero spread accounts, a 100 percent deposit bonus, from a 10 dollar minimum
  • Not accepted: USA, EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, UAE and Norway
  • Age claim: No founding year is stated. Both the domain and the company date to 2023, so this is a new operation
MaziFinance homepage and footer: no financial regulator named, only a Saint Lucia IBC registration (2023-00404), captured 17 August 2026.
MaziFinance About page: vague history, no founding year and no regulator, captured 17 August 2026.

Regulation

No proof found

Proof of regulation on an official register: No

We could not confirm this broker on any genuine regulator’s register.

Licences the broker publishes

Saint Lucia Registry of International Business Companies

Protection: None. No compensation scheme, no conduct supervision, no fund segregation oversight.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We reached a likely scam verdict for four main reasons.

  • No regulation and no protection. The site takes client deposits and offers 1:2000 leverage, but names no regulator at all. Its only paper is a Saint Lucia IBC number, which offers clients no compensation scheme, no segregation oversight and no complaints authority.
  • A clear withdrawal trap. Several traders report the same story on independent platforms: trading is smooth until they become profitable, then the firm invokes toxic trading or scalping clauses, refuses to pay profits, and offers only the original deposit back if the client signs away the rest. One reports a 13,000 dollar profit withheld and emails ignored, another a 524.93 dollar profit denied, another a 165 USDT withdrawal never received.
  • A reputation reset. The same website previously operated as Sento Markets from the same Saint Lucia address, and that brand carried the same withdrawal complaints. Renaming does not clear that history.
  • Manipulated reviews. The firm lost its rating on a major review platform for breaching guidelines, after fake reviews were removed, while genuine one star complaints dominate.

Note on operating history: the 3.0-year track record rests on domain registration alone. No company incorporation date could be established, so this is an upper bound rather than a confirmed age.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

In fairness, several points cut the other way, which is why we say likely scam rather than confirmed.

  • The firm does disclose a real legal entity, a registration number and a physical address, rather than hiding entirely.
  • It runs on MetaTrader 5, a genuine third party platform, and lists normal payment rails such as cards, bank transfer, UPI and crypto.
  • At least one trader reports a slow payout that was eventually paid in full, so not every client is denied.
  • Being an unregulated offshore broker is a serious risk, but on its own it is not proof of theft. Hundreds of brokers operate offshore without stealing funds.

We could not find a formal regulator warning naming this domain, and the Saint Lucia company registry is not publicly searchable, so parts of the record remain open.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

Our view would improve if the firm could show any of the following.

  • A genuine licence from a recognised regulator (for example FCA, ASIC, CySEC) that we can confirm on that regulator's own public register in this company's name.
  • A sustained, verifiable record of profitable clients being paid in full, with no profit confiscation.
  • Removal of the vague toxic trading and scalping clauses that are being used to deny profits.
  • Restoration of its independent review rating without the fake reviews that got it flagged.

A regulator warning naming mazifinance.com, or a confirmed pattern of a demand for extra payment before releasing funds, would push this toward a confirmed scam.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

12 questions
Is Mazi Finance a scam?

We rate Mazi Finance a likely scam. It holds no financial licence and multiple traders report that their profits and withdrawals were confiscated once they became profitable. Treat it as unsafe for deposits.

Is Mazi Finance regulated?

No. The site names no financial regulator. Its only registration is a Saint Lucia international business company number (2023-00404), which is a company registration, not financial regulation. Saint Lucia does not license forex or CFD brokers.

Can I withdraw my money from Mazi Finance?

Many traders report they cannot, especially after making a profit. The firm is reported to invoke vague toxic trading or scalping clauses to refuse profits and offer only the original deposit back. Some smaller withdrawals were reportedly delayed for weeks.

Is my money safe with Mazi Finance?

There is no regulator, no compensation scheme and no independent oversight of client funds. If the firm refuses to pay, there is no authority to force it. We consider client money at high risk here.

Who owns Mazi Finance?

The site says MaziFinance is a trading name of MaziMatic Financial Services LTD, a Saint Lucia IBC. No named directors or management are disclosed on the website.

How old is Mazi Finance?

It is a new operation. The website domain was created in August 2023 and the company was registered in 2023, so it is under three years old.

Was Mazi Finance previously called something else?

Yes. The same website was previously branded Sento Markets, operating from the same Saint Lucia address, and that brand carried similar withdrawal complaints. A rename does not clear that history.

What is a Saint Lucia IBC registration worth for a broker?

Very little for client protection. It only means a company exists on paper in Saint Lucia. It is not a financial licence and gives you no regulatory recourse if something goes wrong.

Is Mazi Finance a clone of another broker?

No. It uses its own brand and entity rather than impersonating a regulated firm. The concern here is unlicensed operation and profit confiscation, not clone impersonation.

Are the awards and statistics on the Mazi Finance site real?

Treat them with caution. Figures such as 960 billion dollars in monthly volume and 470,000 traders are unverifiable for a firm this new, and the award badges are the kind brokers self style rather than independent honours.

What should I do if I was scammed by Mazi Finance?

Request a full withdrawal in writing and keep records. If you paid by card, ask your bank about a fraud chargeback. Report it to your local regulator and police. Avoid recovery agents who ask for a fee, as they are usually a second scam.

What should I check before depositing with any broker?

Confirm a real licence on the regulator's own public register in the exact company name, check independent reviews for withdrawal complaints, read the bonus and withdrawal terms, and be wary of very high leverage and large deposit bonuses.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Treat this broker as unsafe for deposits.

  • Do not deposit new money, and do not add funds to unlock a withheld withdrawal.
  • If you already deposited, request a full withdrawal in writing and keep every message and screenshot.
  • If you paid by card, ask your bank about a chargeback. Card networks allow fraud chargebacks for a long window after the payment. Crypto deposits are usually not recoverable.
  • Report the case to your local financial regulator and police, and keep documentation of amounts and dates.
  • Ignore anyone in review comments offering to recover your funds for a fee. Those are follow up scams that target victims a second time.
