Is Neuron Markets a scam?

High risk (unverified)MEDIUM confidence
Updated August 28, 2026
High-risk offshore broker with unlicensed client-facing entity

Neuron Markets is not a confirmed scam, but it is a high-risk offshore broker that we cannot recommend on trust. It does hold one genuine licence, yet the company that actually takes your money is not the one that is licensed.

  • The Mauritius sister company, Neuron Markets International, holds a real FSC Mauritius Investment Dealer licence (issued 6 September 2023), which we confirmed on the regulator's own public register.
  • The company you actually contract with is Neuron Markets Ltd in Saint Lucia, which is not licensed to run a forex business. Saint Lucia does not regulate forex, so money held by that entity is outside the Mauritius licence.
  • The website advertises being trusted 'since 2009' and 'since 2019', but its companies date to 2023 and 2024 and its domain to 2021. The history it claims is not real.
  • Reviews are thin and mixed: one detailed report of a withdrawal being blocked, a few promotional five-star posts, and several generic 'scam' pages that wrongly say it has no licence at all.
  • No financial regulator has issued a warning against it, and it is not a clone of another firm.

Regulation

6/10 · High

Genuine FSC Mauritius Investment Dealer licence verified on the register, but it is a low-tier offshore regulator and the licence is held by a sister entity, not the Saint Lucia company that holds client funds.

Identity & transparency

5/10 · Moderate

Entities and addresses are disclosed and the Mauritius address matches the register, but the split structure hides which entity actually protects client money, and founding dates are misstated.

Withdrawals & conduct

5/10 · Moderate

One credible, specific fund-access complaint (withdrawal declined) plus unverified generic allegations; some users report fast payouts. A concern, but not a proven systematic pattern.

Reputation

5/10 · Moderate

Very thin footprint (four Trustpilot reviews, mixed) surrounded by low-quality SEO scam-farm pages that are factually wrong about its licensing.

Website claims

6/10 · High

Advertises being trusted since 2009 and 2019 while its entities date to 2023 and 2024 and the domain to 2021; overstates its track record.

Operational history

6/10 · High

Young operation: the client-facing Saint Lucia entity is about two years old and the licensed sister entity only from 2023, against a 2021 domain.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

  • Website: neuronmarkets.com
  • Only real licence: FSC Mauritius Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer), held by the Mauritius sister company, not by the Saint Lucia company that holds client funds

  • Not accepted: USA, UAE, Belgium, Iran, Canada, North Korea

Regulation

Who really oversees this broker, and what each licence is worth to you.

Proof found

Proof of regulation on an official register: Yes

We confirmed this broker on a genuine regulator’s register.

Licences the broker publishes

Financial Services Commission (FSC), Mauritius

VerifiedTier 3Limited relevance
A genuine SEC-2.1B Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting) licence held by Neuron Markets International, confirmed on the FSC public register at the Port Louis address shown on the site. The number GB23201856 the broker prints is the Global Business Company number; the real dealing licence is the Investment Dealer authorisation dated 06/09/2023. FSC Mauritius is a low-tier offshore regulator.
Protection: Low. Offshore regulator with limited client-money protection and no meaningful compensation scheme, and the licence covers the Mauritius entity rather than the Saint Lucia company that holds client funds.Official register

Saint Lucia company registration

VerifiedNot a forex licenceLimited relevance
Registration number 2024-00125 for Neuron Markets Ltd is a company incorporation, not financial regulation. Saint Lucia does not license or supervise forex brokers, so this gives clients no protection.
Protection: None. A company registration only.
Found by our investigation (1) — the broker does not list these on its own site

Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA), Malaysia

Found by us — not listed by the broker

UnverifiedNot a forex licence
Third-party directories cite a Labuan registration LL21268 for Neuron Markets Ltd, but this is not stated on the broker's own site and LL21268 has the form of a Labuan company number rather than an LFSA securities licence. We could not confirm any LFSA trading licence for this operation.
Protection: Unconfirmed. Treated as unverified until an LFSA securities licence is shown.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We rate Neuron Markets high risk because the good part of its regulation does not protect the client, and several signals point to an aggressive, young offshore operation.

  • The licence is real but sits in the wrong entity. We searched the FSC Mauritius public register and found Neuron Markets International with a genuine Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer) licence dated 6 September 2023, at the same Port Louis address shown on the site. That is a real, low-tier offshore licence.
  • Your money is with an unlicensed company. The site's own legal text says you contract with Neuron Markets Ltd in Saint Lucia. Saint Lucia does not license or supervise forex brokers, so the Mauritius licence does not cover the entity that holds your deposit.
  • The advertised history is false. The same page claims trust 'since 2009' and 'since 2019'. The domain was registered in April 2021 and the companies exist only from 2023 and 2024. A broker that misstates its own age is overstating its track record.
  • There is an unresolved withdrawal complaint. A detailed Trustpilot review (June 2026) reports that even small withdrawals were declined after the payout method was approved, with support unresponsive. That is a fund-access concern, though it is a single credible case rather than a proven pattern.
  • The operation is young. The company that takes client money is about two years old, and even the licensed sister entity dates only to 2023.

We did not find any regulator warning, any clone evidence, or any confirmed pattern of theft, so this is not a scam verdict. It is a warning that the protection here is weak and the disclosures do not add up.

Note on operating history: the 5.3-year track record rests on domain registration alone. No company incorporation date could be established, so this is an upper bound rather than a confirmed age.

  • E1FSC Mauritius Online Public Register lists Neuron Markets International with a SEC-2.1B Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting) licence dated 06/09/2023, business address 1st Floor River Court, St Denis Street, Port Louis, matching the broker's own site. A real, in-force offshore licence held by the operation itself, not a clone.

    StrongFSC Mauritius Online Public Register
  • E2The broker's own legal information states the contracting party is Neuron Markets Ltd, registered in Saint Lucia under number 2024-00125. Saint Lucia does not license forex, so the entity holding client funds is unlicensed and separate from the licensed Mauritius entity.

  • E3The Who We Are page advertises being trusted 'Since 2019' and, separately on the same page, '2009', while the companies date to 2023 and 2024 and the domain to 2021. This overstates the operation's real age.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

In fairness, several points work in the broker's favour and were weighed carefully.

  • It holds a genuine FSC Mauritius Investment Dealer licence that we verified on the regulator's own register, with a matching Port Louis address. Many brokers we review hold nothing real at all.
  • It runs on MetaTrader 5, a standard third-party platform, and at least one long-term user reports fast, reliable withdrawals on gold trading.
  • The loudest 'scam' claims come from automated review pages that state it has 'no licence at all', which is simply wrong. That undermines their reliability in both directions.
  • No regulator has placed it on a warning or alert list, and it is not impersonating another company.
  • Its domain has existed since 2021, so it is not a brand-new throwaway site.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

Our view would move up or down with concrete evidence.

  • Toward safer: the client-facing business moving under the licensed Mauritius entity, or a tier-1 or tier-2 licence covering the entity that holds deposits, plus a clean record of paid withdrawals over time.
  • Toward safer: the site correcting its founding-date claims to match its real 2021 to 2024 history.
  • Toward scam: a regulator warning naming neuronmarkets.com, or several independent, specific reports of withdrawals being refused or of extra 'fees' or 'tax' demanded before releasing funds.
  • Toward scam: evidence that the FSC Mauritius licence is later surrendered or revoked while the site keeps advertising it.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

11 questions
Is Neuron Markets a scam?

We did not find enough to call it a scam. It holds a genuine, if weak, offshore licence and is on no regulator warning list. But it is high risk: the company that takes your money is unlicensed, and it overstates its history. Trade with caution or choose a stronger-regulated broker.

Is Neuron Markets regulated?

Partly. Its Mauritius sister company, Neuron Markets International, holds a real FSC Mauritius Investment Dealer licence that we confirmed on the regulator's register. The Saint Lucia company you actually contract with is not licensed, and Saint Lucia does not regulate forex.

Can I withdraw my money from Neuron Markets?

Some users report fast withdrawals, but at least one detailed review says small withdrawals were declined even after the payout method was approved, with support unresponsive. Test a small withdrawal before committing larger sums.

Is my money safe with Neuron Markets?

There is limited protection. The verified licence sits in the Mauritius entity, while deposits go to the unlicensed Saint Lucia entity. Offshore regulators offer little recourse, so treat any money there as at risk.

Who owns Neuron Markets?

The brand is operated by Neuron Markets Ltd (Saint Lucia) with a sister entity, Neuron Markets International (Mauritius). The site says the group holds a controlling interest in its subsidiaries. Individual ownership is not clearly disclosed.

How old is Neuron Markets?

The domain dates to April 2021, the Mauritius licence to September 2023, and the Saint Lucia company to 2024. So it is roughly a two to four year old operation, not the 'since 2009/2019' history the site advertises.

What is the FSC Mauritius licence worth?

FSC Mauritius is a low-tier offshore regulator. An Investment Dealer licence is real and allows dealing, but it offers far weaker client protection and compensation than the FCA, ASIC or CySEC.

Why does the website claim it has been trusted since 2009?

That claim does not match the records. Its companies and domain are far newer. Advertising a longer history than you can prove is a red flag, even when a broker holds a real licence.

Is Neuron Markets a clone of another broker?

No. The name and address on the FSC Mauritius register match the broker's own site, so it is trading under its own identity, not impersonating a regulated firm.

What should I check before depositing with Neuron Markets?

Confirm which legal entity will hold your funds, understand that the Saint Lucia entity is unlicensed, test a small withdrawal, keep records, and never pay any extra fee or tax to release your own money.

What do I do if I was scammed by Neuron Markets?

Stop depositing, gather all records (deposits, chats, ticket numbers), request a card or bank chargeback if you paid that way, and report the matter to your national financial regulator and to FSC Mauritius, which supervises the licensed entity.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Treat Neuron Markets as high risk and protect yourself before depositing.

  • Understand that if you fund the Saint Lucia entity, the Mauritius licence does not protect that money. Offshore protection is minimal in any case.
  • Prefer brokers licensed by a strong regulator (FCA, ASIC, CySEC) if capital safety matters to you.
  • If you already have funds there, test a small withdrawal now and keep written records of every request and reply.
  • Never send an extra payment described as tax, a fee or verification to 'unlock' a withdrawal. No legitimate broker requires that.
  • Be sceptical of the 'since 2009/2019' marketing; the operation is only a few years old.
