Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
We rate NEWRGY IMEX a likely scam. Everything we could verify points to an unlicensed operation that took client money, then blocked withdrawals and disappeared.
- No real regulation. The only registration we found is a US FinCEN money-services-business registration (number 31000269708599, filed 16 April 2024). FinCEN itself warns that an MSB registration is not an approval or endorsement and is often abused by fraudsters. It is an anti-money-laundering filing, not a trading licence, and it protects no client funds.
- It solicited deposits it was not licensed to take. The site offered forex, stocks, commodities and crypto trading. Those activities need a securities or derivatives licence, which we found from no regulator: no SEC, FINRA, FCA, ASIC or Canadian CIRO authorisation.
- Advance-fee withdrawal trap. Independent reports describe accounts frozen after a withdrawal request, followed by demands to pay an alleged IRS tax or a further deposit before funds would be released. A demand for extra payment to release your own money is one of the strongest single signs of fraud.
- The operation has vanished. The site was live through 2024, was showing a parked page by mid-2025, and the domain was picked up by a domain reseller in December 2025. The second domain is offline. This matches the reports that the site was disabled and money was never recovered.
- Thin, evasive identity. The registered address is a Denver mail-forwarding box and the only contact offered was a phone number.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1NEWRGY IMEX solicited deposits for forex, stocks, commodities and crypto through a mobile and web app while holding no licence from any securities or derivatives regulator.
StrongBrokersView (FastBull)E2The claimed US MSB registration 31000269708599 is genuine and filed to NEWRGY IMEX International Monetary Exchange Ltd, but it is an anti-money-laundering registration, not financial regulation; FinCEN warns it is not an approval or endorsement and is abused by fraudsters.
E3Multiple independent reports describe accounts frozen after withdrawal requests, demands to pay an alleged IRS tax or extra deposit before release, balance manipulation forcing further deposits, and the site later disabled with funds not recovered.
Hard proofBrokersView (FastBull)E4The main domain was live as the broker through 2024, showed a parked page by mid-2025, and was re-registered by a domain reseller on 10 Dec 2025 with redirect nameservers; the secondary domain is unreachable. The operation is defunct.
E5The registered address on the FinCEN filing, 1312 17th St Unit 2955 Denver CO 80202, is a mail-forwarding box, and the entity is a Ltd using a US mail drop, with only phone contact offered.

The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
In fairness, a few points cut the other way.
- The FinCEN MSB registration is genuine and is filed in the broker's own legal name, NEWRGY IMEX International Monetary Exchange Ltd, not stolen from another company.
- The company did disclose a legal entity name and a US address, which some pure scams do not.
- We did not find an official regulator warning that names this exact website, so the fraud finding rests mainly on user reports rather than an enforcement action.
- The detailed complaints come from broker-review platforms and do not include transaction records such as amounts, dates or ticket numbers, so the individual losses are not independently documented.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
We would revisit this rating if:
- a recognised securities or derivatives regulator such as the SEC, FCA, ASIC or CIRO showed a genuine, in-force licence for this entity and website;
- the register showed the FinCEN entry as a real trading authorisation rather than an AML registration;
- verified users showed successful withdrawals with proof; or
- the operation returned under the same entity and resolved the outstanding withdrawal complaints.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is NEWRGY IMEX a scam?
On the evidence, it behaves like one. It took trading deposits with no real financial regulator, and multiple users report blocked withdrawals and demands to pay a fake tax before the site disappeared. We rate it a likely scam.
Is NEWRGY IMEX regulated?
No. Its only registration is a US FinCEN money-services-business (AML) registration. FinCEN states this is not an approval or endorsement. There is no licence from any securities or forex regulator such as the SEC, FCA, ASIC or CIRO.
What is the FinCEN MSB registration worth?
Very little for a trader. It is an anti-money-laundering filing that any business can submit. It does not authorise trading services and does not protect your deposits. FinCEN warns that fraudsters misuse it to look legitimate.
Can I withdraw my money from NEWRGY IMEX?
Reports say no. Users describe accounts frozen after a withdrawal request and then demands to pay an IRS tax or further deposit. The site was later disabled and funds were not recovered.
They are asking me to pay a tax to withdraw. Should I?
No. A demand to pay a tax, fee or extra deposit before releasing your funds is the scam itself. Paying more will not free your money. Stop and treat any further contact as fraud.
Is my money safe with NEWRGY IMEX?
No. There is no regulator, no investor-compensation scheme and no verifiable safeguarding of client funds. The operation has also gone offline.
Who owns NEWRGY IMEX?
The legal entity on the FinCEN filing is NEWRGY IMEX International Monetary Exchange Ltd, using a mail-forwarding address in Denver, Colorado. Beyond that name, ownership is not transparently disclosed.
How old is NEWRGY IMEX?
It claims to have started in June 2023, but the earliest records we can verify are from April 2024 (the FinCEN filing) and July 2024 (the website). It is a young operation and is now defunct.
Is NEWRGY IMEX a clone of another broker?
We found no evidence that it impersonates a known regulated firm. It appears to be a standalone unlicensed operation rather than a clone.
Why does the website not work anymore?
The site was parked during 2025 and the domain was re-registered by a domain reseller in December 2025. The secondary domain is offline. The operation appears to have shut down.
What should I check before depositing with any broker?
Confirm a real licence on a top-tier regulator's own register (SEC, FCA, ASIC, CIRO and similar), check the entity name and website match that record, look for independent withdrawal reports, and be wary of any firm that only shows an AML or company registration as if it were regulation.
I was scammed by NEWRGY IMEX. What can I do?
Stop paying any further fees. Ask your bank about a chargeback or transfer recall, keep all records including crypto wallet addresses, and report to the FTC and FBI IC3 in the US or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. Avoid recovery agents who ask for upfront fees.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
Treat NEWRGY IMEX as unsafe. Do not deposit.
- If someone tells you to pay a tax, fee or extra deposit to unlock a withdrawal, stop. That demand is itself the scam; paying more will not release your money.
- If you deposited by card or bank transfer, contact your bank about a chargeback or recall right away.
- If you paid in crypto, save the wallet addresses and transaction IDs and report them to your local police and to a crypto-scam reporting service.
- Report the loss: in the US to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov and to the FBI IC3; in Canada to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre and your provincial securities regulator.
- Be alert to recovery scams. Anyone who contacts you promising to get your money back for an upfront fee is almost certainly a second scam.
