Independent safety report

Is RallyTrade a scam?

High risk (unverified)MEDIUM confidence
Updated September 10, 2026
Unregulated forex/CFD broker with withdrawal-delay complaints

RallyTrade is a real but unregulated Nigerian forex and CFD broker, and we rate it high risk: your money sits with a company that no financial regulator supervises, and users report a recurring problem getting it back out.

  • No regulator. RallyTrade is run by FRNG Limited (Nigeria, RC 1288748). That is a company registration, not a trading licence, and no financial authority oversees it or protects your deposits.
  • Real and long-running. The rally.trade site has operated continuously since 2016 under the same brand, company and Lagos office. This is not a clone or a throwaway site.
  • Withdrawal complaints. On Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army, users report withdrawals delayed for months or left unanswered, and deposit bonuses promised but not credited. Some other clients say they were paid after a one-time verification.
  • No safety net. Its Financial Commission link (a dispute body, not a regulator) is listed as withdrawn, and that body states clients are not protected.
  • We found no regulator warning naming rally.trade and no evidence of fraud in the legal sense, but an unregulated broker with this complaint pattern carries a real risk of losing your money.

Risk scorecard

Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.

Worst area: Critical
SeverityLowModerateHighCritical

Regulation

8/10 · Critical

No financial regulator oversees FRNG Limited; RC 1288748 is a Nigerian company registration, not a trading licence, and there is no compensation scheme. It is not fabricated or cloned, so it stops short of 9-10.

Identity & transparency

4/10 · Moderate

A real, disclosed Nigerian entity and a stable Lagos head office since 2016, corroborated across the site, the 2017 archive and a third-party listing; but ownership and management are undisclosed and there is no regulator-verified identity.

Withdrawals & conduct

6/10 · High

Recurring fund-access complaints (delayed or ignored withdrawals, uncredited bonuses) on Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army, offset by genuine positive reviews; the pattern is credible but not confirmed to individual amounts, and no advance-fee-to-withdraw demand was reported.

Reputation

6/10 · High

Net-negative across independent review sites with a persistent withdrawal theme, but no government warning names the domain and some multi-year positive accounts exist.

Website claims

5/10 · Moderate

Truthful about its 2016 age and it does not fake a licence, but it leans on unverifiable marketing ('98% recommend', 'Excellent 4.8', 'award winning') and heavy bonuses users say were not honoured, and it historically overstated being 'regulated by Financial Commission'.

Operational history

2/10 · Low

Verified continuous operation since 2016 (domain plus a year-by-year archive, same brand, entity and address): a genuine decade-long track record.

Who they are

A quick desk file on the company behind the brand.

  • Brand: RallyTrade (rally.trade)
  • Legal entity: FRNG Limited, incorporated in Nigeria, Registration Number RC 1288748
  • Registered / head office: Fanis House, 21 Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Website: www.rally.trade, operating continuously since 2016
  • Only credential: a Nigerian company registration. No financial regulator. A Financial Commission membership (a dispute-resolution scheme, not a regulator) that is now listed as withdrawn
  • Offers: CFDs on forex, commodities, crypto and indices, MetaTrader 5, copy trading, up to 1:1000 leverage, Naira and USD accounts
  • Deposits: bank cards, Nigerian bank transfer (GTBank, Zenith, WEMA, Interswitch, eTranzact) and USDT crypto
  • Not accepted: Iran, Myanmar and Russia
  • Age claim: since 2016, which we verified (domain registered 2016 and a continuous archive)

Regulation

Who really oversees this broker, and what each licence is worth to you.

No proof found

Proof of regulation on an official register: No

We could not confirm this broker on any genuine regulator’s register.

The Financial Commission

WithdrawnNot a forex licence
An independent external dispute-resolution membership scheme, not a financial regulator. RallyTrade leaned on it as 'regulation' in earlier years; the listing now shows the membership withdrawn and the compensation fund unavailable, so it offers no protection.
Protection: None. Not a regulator, membership withdrawn, and the listing states the client is not protected.Official register

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

We rate RallyTrade high risk because it takes client deposits for leveraged CFD trading with no financial-regulator oversight, and clients report a recurring problem getting money out. We did not find the hallmarks of an outright scam (a fake licence, a cloned identity, or a regulator warning), so we stop at high risk rather than calling it a confirmed scam.

  • No financial regulator supervises FRNG Limited. The RC 1288748 number is a Nigerian company registration, which does not license a brokerage, supervise how it holds client money, or provide any compensation if funds are withheld.
  • Nigeria has no regime that licenses retail forex brokers, and the Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission has said it does not regulate the retail forex market, so there is no local safety net either.
  • The Financial Commission, an independent dispute-resolution scheme rather than a regulator, lists RallyTrade's membership as withdrawn and states plainly that the client is not protected.
  • Across Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army the dominant complaint is withdrawals delayed for months or ignored, together with deposit bonuses users say were never credited and account credit deducted to close trades. The theme repeats across platforms and years, though we could not confirm it down to individual amounts and dates.
  • Against that, rally.trade has run continuously since 2016 under the same brand, company and Lagos address, uses a genuine MetaTrader 5 platform, hires staff locally, and some clients report being paid normally after a one-time identity check. This is a real business, which is why the verdict is high risk and not confirmed scam.

Note on operating history: the 10.1-year track record rests on domain registration alone. No company incorporation date could be established, so this is an upper bound rather than a confirmed age.

  • E1The homepage footer states 'Rally Trade is operated by FRNG Limited. Registration Number: RC 1288748' and names no financial regulator anywhere on the site, confirming an unregulated, deposit-taking CFD broker.

  • E8A warning-list sweep found no government regulator alert naming rally.trade or FRNG Limited. The one near-match on the IOSCO alerts portal is for a separate entity, FX Rally, which is a different operation and must not be attributed to this broker.

  • E9The operating entity FRNG Limited (RC 1288748) and its Lagos head office are disclosed consistently across the current site, the 2017 archive and the Financial Commission listing, and Nigerian job postings for FRNG Limited (Rally Trade) confirm real local staff and offices. The Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission public search is not openly searchable, so the exact incorporation date could not be read from the registry.

ModerateCross-source corporate identity (broker site, web archive, Financial Commission)
  • E10RallyTrade takes real client deposits for leveraged CFD trading through bank cards, Nigerian bank transfers and USDT crypto, so it is a deposit-taking brokerage rather than a prop firm, introducer or education seller.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

Here is the fairest case for RallyTrade.

  • It is a genuine, decade-old operation. The website has run continuously since 2016, from a stable Lagos head office, with real staff, local events and a real MetaTrader 5 platform. Clones and exit scams rarely last ten years.
  • It does not fake a licence. The current site states plainly that it is only a registered Nigerian company and names no financial regulator, which is more honest than brokers that display fake tier-1 licences.
  • Some clients report smooth trading and withdrawals, typically after a one-time identity check on the first withdrawal, which is normal industry practice.
  • No government regulator anywhere has published a warning that names rally.trade or FRNG Limited. An IOSCO alert exists for a separate entity called FX Rally, which is a different operation, not this broker.
  • Many withdrawal disputes at small brokers come from bonus terms and trading-volume conditions rather than theft, and RallyTrade runs heavy bonus promotions that can explain part of the complaint stream.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

What would move this verdict up or down.

  • Toward scam: a regulator warning naming rally.trade or FRNG Limited, a cluster of detailed dated withdrawal-refusal reports with amounts and ticket numbers, any demand for an extra tax or fee before funds are released, or the site reappearing with a fabricated licence number.
  • Toward lower risk: RallyTrade obtaining and verifying a licence from a recognised financial regulator with segregated client funds and a compensation scheme, or a clear and sustained record of prompt withdrawals with the complaint stream drying up.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

12 questions
Is RallyTrade a scam?

We did not find proof that RallyTrade is an outright scam. It is a real, decade-old Nigerian broker with a genuine platform. But it is unregulated and has a recurring stream of withdrawal complaints, so we rate it high risk and advise caution.

Is RallyTrade a fraud?

No court or regulator has found RallyTrade to have committed fraud, and we found no fraud-related enforcement or warning naming the company. That is different from saying it is safe: with no regulator and repeated withdrawal complaints, we assess the risk of losing money as high.

Is RallyTrade regulated?

No. It is operated by FRNG Limited, a company registered in Nigeria (RC 1288748). A company registration is not a financial licence. No financial regulator supervises RallyTrade, and its Financial Commission membership is listed as withdrawn.

Can I withdraw my money from RallyTrade?

Some clients report being paid, often after a one-time identity check. Others report withdrawals delayed for months or ignored, and bonuses that were never credited. Because there is no regulator, there is no authority to force a payout if one is withheld.

Is my money safe with RallyTrade?

There is no regulatory protection and no compensation scheme. The Financial Commission listing states plainly that the client is not protected. Only deposit money you can afford to lose.

Who owns RallyTrade?

RallyTrade is operated by FRNG Limited, a Nigerian company (RC 1288748) with a head office at 21 Adeniyi Jones Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos. The individual owners and management are not disclosed on the website.

Where is RallyTrade based?

In Lagos, Nigeria. The operation is Nigeria-focused, offering Naira accounts and local bank deposit methods, with local offices and staff.

How old is RallyTrade?

The rally.trade website has operated continuously since 2016, which we confirmed from the domain registration and a year-by-year web archive. So the brand has a genuine track record of about ten years.

What is the Financial Commission, and does RallyTrade's membership protect me?

The Financial Commission is an independent dispute-resolution scheme, not a government regulator. RallyTrade's listing shows the membership as withdrawn and states there is no compensation-fund protection, so it offers you no meaningful safety net.

Is RallyTrade a clone of another broker?

No. It is its own brand on its own domain since 2016, with its own Nigerian company. It does not impersonate a known regulated firm, and we found no borrowed licence or identity.

What does RallyTrade's RC 1288748 number mean?

It is a Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission company registration number. It proves the company legally exists, but it says nothing about financial regulation and does not license the firm to run a brokerage or protect your deposits.

What should I check before depositing with RallyTrade?

Remember it is unregulated with no compensation scheme. Avoid bonuses, keep any deposit small, verify your identity and test a small withdrawal first, and keep records of everything. If a withdrawal is blocked or a fee is demanded to release funds, stop and report it.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

For anyone considering RallyTrade:

  • Treat it as an unregulated broker. If you deposit, assume there is no regulator to appeal to and no compensation scheme if your funds are withheld.
  • Be very cautious with deposit bonuses, which carry conditions that can lock your balance, and keep any deposit small.
  • Test a small withdrawal early, complete identity verification before funding, and keep records of every deposit, trade and withdrawal request.
  • If a withdrawal is refused, or you are asked to pay a fee to release your money, stop depositing and report it to the Nigerian EFCC and to your bank or card issuer.
