RZ Forex Broker Overview
RZ Forex is the trading name of Ruizean Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based payments company registered in Australia in 2014. It offers multi-currency collection accounts, international and local payments, and spot currency conversion to individuals and businesses, through its own online portal and an API. Its registration is with AUSTRAC as a remittance provider, not with ASIC as a financial services licensee.
RZ Forex is not a leveraged trading broker. Its Spot FX Account Terms say it will not enter into a currency contract until it has received "full and cleared payment" from the client. Its website calls the Spot FX service "not a financial product". Its help centre says clients may not use the service to speculate on currency moves.
RZ Forex Regulation and License
AUSTRAC's Remittance Sector Register lists Ruizean Pty Ltd with the trading name RZ FOREX (ABN 34 167 543 580), at Level 9, Suite 902, Tower B, 821 Pacific Highway, Chatswood NSW 2067, with no conditions shown, as checked on 17 October 2026. AUSTRAC keeps this register under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006. The rzforex.com footer says the firm provides Spot FX "as a registered remittance provider under AUSTRAC" and "does not provide financial product advice or financial services as defined in the Corporations Act 2001".
ASIC's register of current AFS licensees does not list Ruizean Pty Ltd, as checked on 17 October 2026. ASIC's authorised representative register shows that Ruizean Pty Ltd (representative number 463693) was once appointed under two other companies' licences. Both appointments have ended:
- AFSL 438402 is held by OX Securities Pty Ltd (ABN 71 163 551 602), licensed since 31 July 2013. Ruizean Pty Ltd was its authorised representative from 10 October 2017 to 15 September 2020. Status: Ceased.
- AFSL 401379 is held by Forex Sport Pty. Ltd. (ABN 22 147 363 175), licensed since 29 April 2011. Ruizean Pty Ltd was its authorised representative from 21 August 2014 to 12 May 2017. Status: Ceased.
Is RZ Forex Regulated?
RZ Forex is registered with AUSTRAC as a remittance provider, but it holds no Australian Financial Services licence and is not currently an authorised representative of any licensee. AUSTRAC registration concerns anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing duties. It is not a licence to offer trading in forex, CFDs or other financial products. The website also says RZ Forex is "licensed and regulated in difference jurisdiction", but it names no licence other than the AUSTRAC registration.
Ruizean Pty Ltd
Ruizean Pty Ltd (ACN 167 543 580) is an Australian private company. ASIC's company register data shows it was registered on 14 January 2014 and is still registered. On ABN Lookup, ABN 34 167 543 580 is active, and RZ Forex has been one of its business names since 25 March 2016. The company also holds the business names Ceylon Remittance, Laxmi Remit and Fasteremit, all added between September 2025 and June 2026.
Ruizean Pty Ltd is a different company from OX Securities Pty Ltd (ACN 163 551 602), the holder of AFSL 438402. ASIC's company data lists Ruizean Markets Pty Ltd as a former name of OX Securities Pty Ltd, and ABN Lookup shows OX Securities Pty Ltd holding the business name RUIZEAN MARKETS since 16 July 2020.
RZ Forex Spreads, Commissions and Fees
RZ Forex builds its spread into the exchange rate it offers instead of charging it separately. Its Product Schedule says the spread varies by currency pair and "effectively represents our gross profit margin on each transaction". A transaction fee of between AUD 0 and AUD 25 may also apply, depending on the client's actual or expected trading volume.
The Product Schedule says third-party bank fees are built into the margin, so the beneficiary bank receives the amount sent in full. Each conversion must be at least £100 or the equivalent in another currency. Its help centre says details of the conversion markup are given to registered clients on request.
RZ Forex Deposits and Withdrawals
Money can come in by local bank transfer to collection accounts in AUD, USD, GBP, CAD and EUR, or by international SWIFT transfer. For AUD, the site lists Direct Credit, Direct Debit and NPP.
Money goes out by SWIFT or by local payment. The help centre says SWIFT payments settle in T+0 or T+1, and local payments settle in T+0 to T+2 with no fees. A failed local AUD payment costs AUD 16.5 in bank charges, and an AUD payment or withdrawal must be at least AUD 16.5.
The Account Terms let RZ Forex accept credit card top-ups at its discretion. Card payments are "final, irrevocable, and non-refundable", and the client waives any right to a chargeback.
