Risk scorecard
Each area is scored 0 (clean) to 10 (worst). Higher means more risk.
Regulation
6/10 · HighA genuine, current Mauritius Full Service Dealer licence confirmed on the regulator's own register, but a third-tier offshore one with no compensation scheme, and its scope does not cover the countries the clients come from.
Identity & transparency
5/10 · ModerateContracting entity disclosed and matching the register on both name and address, with an active UK company, but no named owners or directors, no phone number or office address published, dead social links and an undisclosed Dubai operating base.
Withdrawals & conduct
6/10 · HighDifferent users on two platforms describe the same failure, withdrawals unpaid for weeks, clustered in October and November 2025, but with no amounts or ticket numbers, alongside credible positive reports and public replies from the firm.
Reputation
6/10 · HighA thin footprint for a self-described global brokerage, three reviews on the per-domain page, split aggregator scores, and positive reviews that repeat a four-year forex history the archive record contradicts. No regulator warning anywhere.
Website claims
7/10 · HighEight unverifiable awards including one dated 2020, before the brand had a website, plus advertised 1 pip spreads against 1.9 pip account tiers and advertised phone support with no number published. The licence itself is described accurately.
Operational history
6/10 · HighDomain from April 2021 and UK company from January 2022 give a verified four to five year brand, but the archive shows an Indian lending site until March 2025, so the brokerage itself has traded for roughly a year and a half.

Why we reached this verdict
How the evidence adds up.
Two things pull in opposite directions here, and the verdict sits where they meet.
- The regulatory check passed, properly. We searched the Mauritius regulator's own public register by name and opened the entry. It names Sicher Mayor Capital Limited, gives the licence type as Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting, dates it 10 March 2025, shows the company as incorporated and carries no adverse annotation. The registered address on the register is character-for-character the address in the website footer. The licence type also matches exactly what the firm says it holds, so this is not a firm inflating an advisory permission into a dealing licence.
- The licence is worth less than the website implies. Mauritius sits in the third tier of regulators. There is no investor compensation scheme behind it, and the protection it offers a client whose withdrawal stops arriving is thin. The site tells visitors that funds sit in segregated accounts with tier-1 banking partners, which we have no way to confirm.
- The licence also does not cover where the clients are. Reviewers identify themselves as being in Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand, Cyprus and Vietnam, and the payment row includes UPI, which exists to serve India. A Mauritian dealer licence authorises none of that. This is regulatory arbitrage, which is a risk to the client rather than proof of dishonesty, but it means the regulator named on the page is not a regulator the client can turn to.
- Clients report money not coming back. One reviewer wrote that a withdrawal was close to a month old and still unpaid. Another wrote that withdrawals had stopped working on a long-standing account. A broker profile covering the same website describes payout requests pending for weeks and accounts locked without explanation. These are different people on different platforms describing the same failure in the same six-week window, which is the shape that matters. What is missing is transactional detail: no amounts, no ticket numbers, no dates of specific transfers. So we treat the pattern as real but unproven in its particulars, and we note that the firm does reply publicly to the complaints rather than ignoring them.
- The trading history being sold is not the history we can evidence. The oldest domain dates to April 2021 and the oldest company to January 2022, so the brand is genuinely several years old. The brokerage is not. Archived copies show sichermayor.com running an Indian lending, tax and money-exchange service as late as March 2025, and then a Dubai page selling expertly managed, high-return investments through mobile phone numbers with no regulator named. The CFD brokerage appeared after the Mauritius licence was issued. A positive review praising over four years of forex expertise describes a business that did not exist.
- The awards fail a simple date test. The About page lists a Best Customer Service award dated 2020. The brand's earliest domain was registered in April 2021 and the business was not a broker until 2025. Seven further awards come from bodies that are not recognised broker-award organisations. We treat the set as unverifiable and the 2020 entry as unsupportable.
- Smaller inconsistencies add up. The site advertises spreads from 1 pip and support by chat, email and phone, while the account tiers inside the portal show spreads from 1.9 pips and the contact page publishes no telephone number at all. The footer's LinkedIn, X, Telegram and YouTube icons all link nowhere, although a Facebook page and an Instagram account do exist. No director, owner or manager is named anywhere, and the Dubai location from which the business appears to be run is not disclosed on the current site.
- Nothing worse than that was found. No regulator warning names this brand or either of its domains. There is no enforcement action, no court record, no advance-fee demand, no crypto-only funding channel, and no sign that this is a clone of another firm. The track record figure also rests partly on an upper bound, because the Mauritius company registry is not open to free public search and the contracting entity could not be dated.
Scoring: regulation 6 and identity 5 and withdrawal complaints 6 all count double, reputation 6, website claims 7 and operating history 5 count once. That weighted average of 5.8 gives 58 percent. No hard floor applies: there is no confirmed misuse of another company's identity, no demand for payment to release funds, no predecessor carrying a regulator action, and the track record is over three years.
Evidence ledger
Every finding, with its source and how strongly it points.
E1The Mauritius regulator's own register lists Sicher Mayor Capital Limited with licence type SEC-2.1B Investment Dealer (Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting), dated 10/03/2025, status 'COMPANY IS INCORPORATED', no adverse annotation, management company Premier Financial Services Limited, and registered office '14 Poudriere Street, 10th floor Sterling Tower Port Louis, Mauritius'. The licence exists, is in force and is held by the entity that contracts with clients.
E2The register's registered office matches the address in the website footer character for character, and the licence category matches the firm's own wording of 'full-service investment dealer (excluding underwriting)'. Two legs of the impersonation test, entity name and registered contacts, are positively confirmed, so this is not a borrowed licence.
E3The only regulatory claim on either Sicher Mayor website is 'FSC Mauritius GB24203629', repeated in the header, the body and the footer. No tier-one regulator is claimed, and no Saint Lucia, Dubai or UK authorisation is asserted anywhere on the live sites or the client portal.
E4Archived copies of sichermayor.com show the site operating as an Indian retail finance business, offering loans, ATM services, money exchange, insurance and tax filing with an Indian phone number, in February 2022 and still in March 2025. The CFD brokerage did not exist for the first four years of the domain's life.
E5By July 2025 the same domain was marketing 'Dubai's best investment options' and 'expertly managed, high-return investments tailored to all risk levels', listing a Dubai corporate office and UK representative office reachable only on mobile numbers, naming no regulator, and carrying a placeholder copyright of 'Investment LLC'. Return-promise marketing under the same brand and the same contact email just over a year ago.
E6The About page lists eight awards, including 'Best Customer Service, Global Summit Awards 2020' and 'Best Forex Trading Support, Global Summit Awards 2022'. The brand's oldest domain was registered in April 2021 and the business was not a broker until 2025, so the 2020 award cannot describe this operation. The remaining awards come from bodies that are not recognised broker-award organisations.
E7On the per-domain review page a client wrote on 1 October 2025 that a withdrawal was 'almost 1 month still have not paying', and a second reviewer on 4 June 2025 described hidden charges and unexpected fees never mentioned beforehand with support dodging questions. Three reviews in total, 3.4 out of 5, with the firm replying to both negatives.
E8A broker profile covering the same website records a client in Bangladesh writing on 5 November 2025 'I can't withdraw money anymore, even though I've been using this account for a long time', and describes severe withdrawal bottlenecks with payout requests remaining pending for weeks and accounts locked without clear explanation. Different users, a different platform and the same failure as the October report.
E9UK Companies House shows SICHER MAYOR LTD, company 13862612, incorporated 20 January 2022, active, classified under 'Administration of financial markets', registered at an accountant's address in Stanmore, with accounts to 31 January 2025 and a confirmation statement of 19 January 2026 both filed on time. The brand's Facebook page is titled 'Sichermayor FX | Stanmore', tying the brand to this company.
ModerateUK Companies House registerE10UK Companies House shows SICHER MAYOR TECH LTD, company 15017386, incorporated 20 July 2023 and dissolved on 31 December 2024, with its registered office having been moved to the Companies House default address. A sister company of the operation that no longer exists, and its domain no longer resolves.
E11Domain records date sichermayor.com to 22 April 2021 and sichermayorfx.com to 24 January 2022, four days after the UK company was incorporated. Archived copies run continuously from December 2021 to June 2026 with no gap, under one brand and one contact email, which rules out a lapsed domain being caught and reused by a new operator.
E12The FCA's Financial Services Register returns no firm matching 'Sicher Mayor'. Number 13862612, reported by two broker directories as an FCA registration, is the firm's UK company number at Companies House and records only that a company exists. No FCA claim appears on the firm's own websites, portal or archived pages, so the origin of the reported claim is unresolved.
E13Saint Lucia's Financial Services Regulatory Authority has stated publicly that forex business is not licensed in Saint Lucia and that documents indicating a forex broker is registered or licensed with the Authority are false and misleading. The number 2023-00181, which third-party profiles list against Sicher Mayor Ltd, is therefore a company registration and not financial regulation.
E14Reviewers identify themselves as being in Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand, Cyprus and Vietnam, and the published payment methods include UPI, which serves India. A Mauritius dealer licence authorises none of these markets, so clients are being taken from jurisdictions the licence does not cover and whose own regulators cannot assist them.
E15The site advertises spreads from 1 pip, leverage to 1:500 with one tier at 1:1000, and 24/5 support by chat, email and phone, while the client portal's own account tiers show spreads from 1.9 pips and leverage to 1:400, and the contact page publishes three email addresses and no telephone number. The footer's LinkedIn, X, Telegram and YouTube icons link nowhere.
E16No regulator warning, alert or enforcement notice names this brand, Sicher Mayor Capital Limited or either domain. The register entry carries no annotation, which is where the Mauritius regulator records suspensions and restrictions. The firm publishes a full suite of policy documents including client agreement, deposit, refund, complaint-handling, conflict-of-interest, dormant-account and order-execution policies.
The other side
The strongest case in this broker’s favour.
The case for Sicher Mayor deserves stating properly, because a lot of what is written about this broker elsewhere is wrong.
- Several review sites say it is unregulated. That is out of date. At least two widely-read broker directories describe Sicher Mayor as having no forex licence, and one scores it zero out of ten. We checked the Mauritius regulator's own register and the licence is there, active, in the right name and in the right category. On this point the directories are behind the regulator, and the regulator wins.
- It does not pretend to hold a licence it lacks. The only authority named on either of its websites is the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius, and the description it gives of that licence is accurate. Many far worse operations borrow a tier-one licence number. This one does not.
- The corporate trail is open and consistent. The contracting entity is named in the footer, matches the register, and is administered by a licensed Mauritian management company. The UK company is active with its accounts and confirmation statement filed on time. The address on the register matches the address on the site.
- There is no sign of a hijacked or recycled domain. Archived copies run continuously from December 2021 to June 2026 under the same brand, with the same contact email carried through every version. The business changed what it sells, which is not the same as a new operator squatting an old name.
- The complaint record is small and the firm engages with it. Three reviews exist on the per-domain review page, and the firm answered both negative ones. A second platform rates it 7.3 out of 10 across 30 reviews, with users reporting fast withdrawals and prompt support. Two of the negative posts are bare scam accusations with no detail at all, and competitors do plant those.
- The structure is ordinary for the sector, not exotic. A real MetaTrader 5 offering, card, bank, e-wallet and crypto funding rather than crypto only, a published suite of client agreement, deposit, refund, complaint-handling and conflict-of-interest policies, and a restricted-countries list that genuinely excludes the United States, Japan, Iran, North Korea and the United Arab Emirates. Hundreds of legitimate brokers look exactly like this.
- The reported UK claim may be a filing error rather than a lie. Two broker profiles report that Sicher Mayor presents company number 13862612 as a Financial Conduct Authority registration. We looked for that claim on both of its websites, on its client portal and on archived copies, and did not find it. The number is simply its real UK company number, and an aggregator mislabelling a company number as a regulator reference is an everyday mistake.
What would change this
What we would need to see to revise the verdict.
This verdict is not fixed. Specific, checkable things would move it in either direction.
- Would lower the risk: a run of withdrawal confirmations with amounts and dates from identifiable clients over the next few months, which is the single fastest way to settle the fund-access question.
- Would lower the risk: publishing a telephone number and the actual operating office address, and naming the directors and beneficial owners of Sicher Mayor Capital Limited.
- Would lower the risk: removing or substantiating the awards list, starting with the 2020 entry that predates the brand's first website.
- Would lower the risk: aligning the marketing with the product, so that the advertised 1 pip spreads and the 1.9 pip account tiers, and the advertised phone support and the absent phone number, stop contradicting each other.
- Would lower the risk: a second and stronger licence in a jurisdiction where its clients actually live, or a restricted-countries list that matches the scope of the Mauritius licence it holds.
- Would raise the risk sharply: any document, email or sales script in which the firm itself presents UK company number 13862612 as authorisation by the Financial Conduct Authority. The register returns no firm of this name, so such a claim would be a false statement of regulation.
- Would raise the risk sharply: a single credible report of a demand for a tax, fee, insurance or verification payment before a withdrawal is released.
- Would raise the risk sharply: a warning or alert naming this brand or either domain from any regulator, or the Mauritius licence appearing as suspended, surrendered or revoked.
- Would raise the risk: the withdrawal complaints continuing to accumulate, or gaining the amounts and ticket numbers they currently lack.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about this broker’s safety.
Is Sicher Mayor a scam?
We did not find evidence that it is a scam, but we rate it high risk at 58 percent. Its Mauritius investment dealer licence is genuine and current, which rules out the fake-licence and clone patterns. The risk comes from unresolved reports of withdrawals not being paid, an awards list that predates the business, and a brokerage that only began trading in 2025.
Is Sicher Mayor a fraud?
We cannot say that, and we found nothing that would support it. There is no regulator warning, no enforcement action and no fraud-related court record naming Sicher Mayor Capital Limited or either of its websites. What we did find is a small number of clients on two platforms saying their withdrawals went unpaid for weeks, which is a serious concern but is not the same as a proven offence.
Is Sicher Mayor regulated?
Yes, by one regulator only. The Financial Services Commission of Mauritius lists Sicher Mayor Capital Limited as a Full Service Dealer excluding Underwriting, granted on 10 March 2025. Several review sites still describe the firm as unregulated, and on that point they are out of date. Mauritius is a low-tier offshore regulator, so the licence exists but offers limited protection.
Is Sicher Mayor regulated by the FCA in the United Kingdom?
No. The FCA's Financial Services Register returns no firm under the Sicher Mayor name. Company number 13862612 belongs to Sicher Mayor Ltd at Companies House, which only records that a company exists. Two broker directories report that this number has been presented as an FCA registration. We did not find that claim on the firm's own websites, but if you are ever shown it, treat it as false.
Can I withdraw my money from Sicher Mayor?
That is the open question. Some users report fast withdrawals and prompt support. Others report the opposite: one wrote that a withdrawal was almost a month old and unpaid, another that withdrawals stopped working on a long-standing account, and a broker profile describes payout requests pending for weeks. Test a small withdrawal before you deposit any meaningful sum.
Is my money safe with Sicher Mayor?
Less safe than with a tier-one regulated broker. The site says client funds sit in segregated accounts with tier-1 banking partners, which we cannot confirm. Mauritius has no investor compensation scheme, so if the firm failed there is no fund to repay you. Treat anything you deposit as money you could lose.
Who owns Sicher Mayor?
The firm does not say. No director, shareholder or manager is named on either website or in the client portal. The contracting company is Sicher Mayor Capital Limited of Port-Louis, Mauritius, administered by the management company Premier Financial Services Limited. A related UK company, Sicher Mayor Ltd, is registered at an accountant's address in Stanmore, England.
How old is Sicher Mayor?
The brand is about four to five years old but the brokerage is not. Its oldest domain was registered in April 2021 and its UK company in January 2022. Archived copies show the site selling Indian lending and tax services as late as March 2025, then a Dubai managed-investment product, with the CFD brokerage appearing after the Mauritius licence was issued in March 2025.
What is the Mauritius FSC licence actually worth?
It is real regulation, but at the weak end. A Mauritius Full Service Dealer licence requires capital, audits and reporting, so it is a genuine step above no licence at all. It does not come with an investor compensation scheme, enforcement is light, and it gives you no rights in your own country. It is third-tier, well below the FCA, ASIC or CySEC.
Is Sicher Mayor a clone of another broker?
No. We checked the licence against the regulator's own register and it belongs to Sicher Mayor Capital Limited itself, not to some other firm whose credentials were borrowed. The registered address on the register matches the address published on the website. There is no typosquatted domain and no impersonation of a better-known brand.
Why do some sites say Sicher Mayor has no licence?
Because they have not caught up. At least two broker directories list it as unregulated or score it zero, and one review site repeats a UK regulatory claim that does not exist. The Mauritius licence was granted in March 2025 and is on the regulator's public register now. Where a directory and a regulator disagree, the regulator is the source to trust.
Are the awards on the Sicher Mayor About page real?
We could not verify any of them, and one is impossible. The page claims a Best Customer Service award dated 2020, which is before the brand registered its first domain and five years before it became a broker. The other seven come from bodies that are not recognised broker-award organisations. Give the list no weight.
What should I check before depositing with Sicher Mayor?
Four things. Confirm the licence yourself on the Mauritius register. Confirm the client agreement names Sicher Mayor Capital Limited and read the withdrawal and refund terms. Deposit a small amount and successfully withdraw it before committing more. Ignore the advertised 1:500 or 1:1000 leverage, which will empty a small account quickly.
What do I do if Sicher Mayor will not pay me?
Put the complaint in writing under the firm's published complaint-handling policy and keep the reference number, amounts and dates. If it is not resolved, escalate to the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius as the licensing authority. If you paid by card or bank transfer, ask your provider about a chargeback or recall. Never pay a fee to release your own funds, and ignore anyone promising to recover your money for an upfront payment.
What we recommend
The practical takeaway from everything above.
If you are considering Sicher Mayor, treat it as a licensed but weakly protected offshore broker and size your exposure accordingly.
- Verify the licence yourself. Open the Mauritius regulator's public register, search the name Sicher Mayor, and confirm the entry still shows an active Full Service Dealer licence with no annotation against it.
- Check who you are contracting with. The client agreement should name Sicher Mayor Capital Limited of Port-Louis. If any document, portal page or sales contact names a different company, or mentions the Financial Conduct Authority, stop and ask why.
- Test a withdrawal before you commit real money. Deposit a small amount, trade briefly, then withdraw the balance and time it. The open question about this broker is precisely whether money comes back, so answer it cheaply and early.
- Do not treat the Mauritius licence as a safety net. There is no compensation scheme behind it. If you are in Australia, New Zealand, the European Union, the United Kingdom or India, your own regulator has no authority over this firm and cannot help you recover funds.
- Avoid the high leverage. Leverage of 1:500 or 1:1000 will remove a small account faster than any dispute process can run.
- Keep your own records. Save deposit receipts, withdrawal requests, ticket numbers and chat transcripts from the first day. The complaints we found are weakened by the absence of exactly this material.
- If a withdrawal is already stuck: file a written complaint under the firm's published complaint-handling policy, keep the reference, and if it is not resolved escalate to the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius as the licensing authority. Never pay a fee, tax or charge to release your own funds, and treat anyone offering to recover them for an upfront payment as a second scam.
This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears. Review scores are treated with caution when a broker’s reviews look manipulated. Last reviewed October 9, 2026.
