Sky Links Capital ticks Scalping Allowed on all four account types. Its contract lists scalping under market abuse and lets the firm void the trades and withhold the profit. The agreement also makes four documents binding that the broker does not publish, including the one covering withdrawals and refunds. The home page promises no conflict of interest, while clause 37.2 says the firm is your counterparty and may take positions against you.

What the documents say

27 clauses worth knowing about, worst first, each quoted from Sky Links Capital's own files

01

Every account type on the Sky Links Capital website is ticked Scalping Allowed, and the FAQ says yes. The agreement lists scalping under market abuse, and its glossary counts any position you close inside five minutes as scalping.

Why this matters

Trade the way the website invites you to, and the firm can void those trades, close your positions and end your account. Its own academy teaches scalping as a strategy, so you would have no reason to think it was a breach.

Exhibit 1CriticalHarder than usual5

Improper Trading Strategies – Including, but not limited to, scalping, arbitrage, or transactions designed primarily to exploit technical inefficiencies, swap interest, or influence bid/offer prices.
Clause 39.2(c) in Client Service Agreement, web version
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference

What it costsClose a gold position four minutes after opening it. Clause 10.36 is satisfied because you held it past three minutes, and the glossary still calls it scalping.

Our readingRestrictions on very short term trading are common. Advertising the practice as permitted on every account, then defining it as market abuse in the contract, is not.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 9One clause decides your trading was abusive, the other lets the firm keep the profit it made.
02

The Sky Links Capital home page says there is no conflict of interest because it passes your orders straight to liquidity providers. Clause 37.2 says the firm acts as principal, is your counterparty, and may take positions opposite to yours.

In plain words

On a principal basis, as your counterparty, means the broker takes the other side of your trade itself. Your loss is then the firm’s gain, so it has an interest in how your trade ends.

Liquidity providers are outside banks and brokers.

Why this matters

When the firm is on the other side of your trade, your loss can be its gain. It also sets the prices you trade at, and clause 37.3 says it does not have to tell you the difference between your price and its own.

Exhibit 2CriticalStandard wording1

The Company, its Associates, and its employees may also take opposite positions to those of the Client or compete with the Client in acquiring similar financial instruments.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA and CySEC must tell a retail client clearly when they deal as principal against that client. Sky Links Capital states the opposite on its home page and the correct position in clause 37.2.

Sky Links Capital is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

03

Sky Links Capital can change what it charges you without telling you first and without your consent. The agreement names a schedule of spreads and charges, and that schedule is not on the website, so no published document states what any fee is.

Why this matters

You cannot check a price list before you deposit, because there is none. The contract puts the duty on you to review the costs before every order, on a website that is free to change them that same day.

Exhibit 3CriticalHarder than usual

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA and CySEC must give a retail client the costs and charges of a service before they trade, and must tell them when those costs change. This agreement lets Sky Links Capital vary its charges with no notice at all.

Sky Links Capital is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

04

The agreement's own definition makes four documents part of your contract that Sky Links Capital publishes nowhere: a Withdrawal and Refund Policy, Website Terms and Conditions, a Credit Card Disclaimer Policy and a Risk Warning. The one that governs getting your money back is the first of them.

Why this matters

You are bound by rules you cannot read. The clause that tells you to read the risk notice says it is on the website, and searching the site for it returns nothing.

Exhibit 4CriticalRarely seen4

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA and CySEC must give a retail client the terms of business before the client is bound by them. This agreement makes four documents binding that Sky Links Capital does not publish.

Sky Links Capital is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

Our readingAgreements routinely pull in other policies by reference. Naming four that the firm has never published, including the withdrawal and refund rules, leaves part of the contract unreadable.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 16The rules on payouts are left to the firm's discretion in the contract, and the policy that would set them out is missing.
05

Clause 35.6 makes you reimburse Sky Links Capital for the cost of defending any claim you bring against it, including all of its lawyers' fees. The clause does not depend on you losing.

Why this matters

Bringing a complaint to arbitration could cost you your own fees and the firm's as well, even if you are right. For most retail balances that makes the claim worth less than the fight.

Exhibit 5CriticalRarely seen

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Client agrees to reimburse the Company on demand for any costs of collection incurred by the Company in collecting any sums owing by the Client under this Agreement and any cost incurred by the Company, including legal action/proceedings, in defending against any claims asserted by the Client, including all attorney's fees, interest and expenses.
Clause 35.6 in Client Service Agreement, web version
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference

Our readingLosing side pays is normal in arbitration and courts decide it case by case. A standing promise by the client to cover the firm's defence costs, with no reference to who wins, shifts that risk before any dispute exists.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 7A short deadline to start a claim and an open bill for bringing one leave very little room to challenge anything.
06

The account types page gives a maximum leverage of 1:200 for Basic and Classic accounts. Clause 10.24 says Sky Links Capital sets those accounts at 1:400 when it opens them, and the FAQ says 1:400 too.

Why this matters

Twice the leverage you were shown means half the market move wipes out your deposit. Clause 11.7 then makes any shortfall left after the firm closes you out your debt to pay.

Exhibit 6CriticalHarder than usual400

At the opening of the Basic and Classical accounts for the Client, the leverage rate is set at 1:400.
Clause 10.24 in Terms of Business, Client Service Agreement (CSA)
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference

What it costsAt 1:400, $500 of your own money controls a $200,000 position. If that position loses $600, clause 11.7 leaves the extra $100 for you to pay in.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus), ESMA (EU)

Firms licensed by the FCA, CySEC and other European regulators cap retail currency leverage at 1:30 and must write off a retail client's negative balance. Sky Links Capital opens Basic and Classic accounts at 1:400 and makes you cover the shortfall.

Sky Links Capital is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

  • Worse together with Exhibit 13The leverage is higher than advertised and the level at which the firm closes you out is not in the contract at all.

Suspicion of arbitrage is enough to withhold your profit

Clause 39.3 lets Sky Links Capital cancel trades, adjust prices and withhold profits where arbitrage is suspected, at its sole discretion. Clause 10.5 asks the firm to document the abuse first, and the two clauses set different tests. Clause 2.6 forfeits all profit if you turn out to live somewhere the firm does not accept.

Keeping what you made2 clauses flagged

Where Sky Links Capital suspects arbitrage, it can cancel your transactions, adjust the prices they were filled at, terminate your account and withhold the profits. Suspicion is the test the clause sets, and the firm decides alone.

In plain words

A manifest error means an obvious mistake by the broker.

Why this matters

Your gains are only final once the firm decides not to look at them. An earlier clause in the same agreement requires it to document the abuse first, and the two tests do not match.

Exhibit 9CriticalHarder than usual

The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take corrective action in cases where arbitrage trading is suspected. Such actions may include, but are not limited to, the cancellation or reversal of transactions, the adjustment of trade prices, the suspension or termination of the Client's account, and the withholding of profits derived from such activities.
Clause 39.3 in Client Service Agreement, web version
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference

What it costsYou make $3,000 over a volatile news week. The firm can reverse those trades and keep the $3,000 while your deposit stays, without showing you proof.

  • Same clause as Exhibit 1The market abuse clause both labels the trading and sets the penalty for it.

If Sky Links Capital decides you live in or come from a country it does not accept, it refunds your deposit and keeps every profit you made. The list of those countries is published nowhere.

Why this matters

You cannot check in advance whether this applies to you. The FAQ says the signup form shows the countries it serves, and the contract puts the cost of getting that wrong on your profit, not on the firm.

Exhibit 10CriticalHarder than usual

In the event of any violation of Clause 2.4, the Company will refund the full deposited amount to the original source. However, any profits or losses resulting from trading will be forfeited.
Clause 2.6 in Terms of Business, Client Service Agreement (CSA)

What it costsYou deposit $2,000 and build it to $5,000. Under this clause the $2,000 goes back to where it came from and the $3,000 of profit is gone.

Two business days to object, three months to sue, and their legal bill is yours

Clause 13.3 of the Sky Links Capital agreement treats a trade confirmation as agreed unless you write within two business days. Clause 19.5 blocks any legal action more than three months after the cause arose. Clause 35.6 makes you reimburse the firm's cost of defending a claim you bring.

If it goes wrong3 clauses flagged

A trade confirmation becomes final and binding unless you write to Sky Links Capital within two business days of receiving it. Clause 19.5 then blocks any legal action brought more than three months after the cause arose.

Why this matters

The two day clock runs from the confirmation, not from the day you spot the problem. Miss it and your silence counts as agreement to the price you were given.

Exhibit 7CriticalHarder than usual2 working days

Trade confirmations shall, in the absence of manifest error, be deemed conclusive and binding unless the Client notifies the Company in writing to the contrary within two (2) Business Days following the Day of receipt of the said Trade Confirmation.
Clause 13.3 in Terms of Business, Client Service Agreement (CSA)
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference

What it costsA trade is confirmed on a Friday at a price you later find was off the market. By Tuesday the contract treats that price as agreed.

Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA and CySEC may not cut short the time a retail client has to bring a claim, and treat a complaint as live for months rather than days. This agreement allows two business days to object to a trade and three months to start any legal action.

Sky Links Capital is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

Clause 18.4 says that if Sky Links Capital fails to comply with the law, regulations or market rules, that failure creates no rights in your favour and does not release you from anything you owe.

Why this matters

The one event most likely to cost you money, the firm breaking its own rules, is written out as something you cannot rely on. A later clause adds that its failure to tell you about changed trading terms does not reduce your liability either.

Exhibit 8CriticalRarely seen

In the event of any failure by the Company or its agents to comply with any applicable laws, regulations, or market rules, such failure shall not relieve the Client of any obligations under this Agreement, nor shall it be construed to create any rights in favour of the Client against the Company.
Clause 18.4 in Terms of Business, Client Service Agreement (CSA)
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference

Our readingAgreements usually limit liability by capping it or excluding indirect loss. A clause stating that the firm's non-compliance creates no client rights at all goes further, and is seldom seen in a retail agreement.

Sky Links Capital gives itself up to four weeks to answer a complaint that reaches its compliance team, and longer where it decides the circumstances are exceptional. No outer limit is set.

Why this matters

If you are unhappy with the answer, the policy names no independent body you can go to. It says those details will be provided on request, so you have to ask for the route out of the firm's own process.

Exhibit 18WarningHarder than usual

This response shall be provided within a maximum period of four (4) weeks from the date of the original complaint, except in cases where exceptional circumstances necessitate an extension, in which case the client shall be duly informed.

Sky Links Capital is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

No published fee schedule, and charges that change without notice

Clause 24.7 lets Sky Links Capital vary its charges with no written notice and no consent from you. Clause 41 adds costs, margin requirements and product specifications to that list. The only fee schedule the contract names, the Spreads and Conditions Schedule, is not on the website.

Cost disclosure2 clauses flagged

On a swap free account, Sky Links Capital can decide you misused the facility and charge backdated swap fees on every position in your account, from the date it was opened to the day of the decision.

Why this matters

A charge reaching back over your whole trading history can take more than your current balance. The swap free terms never say how many grace days you get before swaps start, and the account types page says no account type is swap free at all.

Exhibit 12CriticalHarder than usual

In the event of market abuse and /or misuses of the swap free advantage by holding floating positions for a long time period, taking advantage of the swap-free facility and gaining profits from swaps, the client who commits these offenses will be charged with a backdated swap or retrospective swap charges on all positions executed in his trading account from the date of opening the account till date, and must close the floating positions immediately.
Clause 12.5 in Terms of Business, Client Service Agreement (CSA)
Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference
  • Worse together with Exhibit 3A charge that applies retrospectively sits in a contract that states no fee amounts and allows changes without notice.

You waive any right to interest on the money you hold with Sky Links Capital. The firm keeps the interest earned on client funds and applies it to its own bank charges and expenses.

Why this matters

On a balance left idle for a year, the interest belongs to the firm. This is common across offshore brokers, and it matters if you plan to keep a large balance on the platform.

Exhibit 27NoticeStandard wording

The Client further consents that any interest earned on such funds may be retained by the Company to cover registration, general expenses, charges, fees, and interest related to the administration and maintenance of bank accounts.

The policy that governs withdrawals is part of your contract and unpublished

The Sky Links Capital glossary makes a Withdrawal and Refund Policy part of your agreement. That document is not on the website, and neither are three others the same definition names. Clause 25.3.12 makes the firm's choice of payout method and currency final.

Getting money out2 clauses flagged

Sky Links Capital says your money sits in a segregated account that neither it nor its creditors have any claim, lien or right of set-off over. Later clauses give the firm a general lien over all your funds and let it pledge your property alongside other clients' property, without notice.

Why this matters

A lien is a right to hold your money until the firm decides you owe it nothing. The same agreement also lets the firm place your money with a third party that may itself hold a lien over it.

Exhibit 11CriticalRarely seen

These accounts are clearly identified as client money, ensuring that neither the Company nor its creditors hold any claim, lien, or right of set-off or retention over such funds.

Downloaded from the broker's site on Open the reference
Set against a regulated standard: FCA (UK), CySEC (Cyprus)

Firms licensed by the FCA and CySEC must hold retail client money apart from their own and may not take a lien over it or use it as their own collateral. This agreement promises segregation in clause 25.2.7 and claims a general lien in clauses 17.6 and 26.10.

Sky Links Capital is not licensed by these regulators, so this is a comparison of practice, not a finding of any breach.

Our readingPledging and re-pledging client assets is a wholesale practice between professional firms. Pointed at a retail trading balance, it means your money can be used as security for somebody else's obligations.

Clause 25.3.8 lets you withdraw profits by bank wire transfer and by no other method unless Sky Links Capital offers one. Where it cannot pay by your original method, it chooses the method and the currency, and that decision is final.

Why this matters

Deposit by card or crypto and you still need a verified bank account in your own name to take profit out. The FAQ says you can withdraw to any bank account in your name, while the contract sends payouts back to the method you deposited with.

Exhibit 16WarningHarder than usual

Clients may only withdraw profits via bank wire transfer or any other methods that may be available from time to time, provided that the Client submits the necessary bank details or other documentation to verify their identity and the ownership of the account.

Scalping is allowed on the website and market abuse in the contract

Sky Links Capital ticks Scalping Allowed on all four account types and answers yes in its FAQ. Clause 39.2 of the same firm's agreement lists scalping under market abuse, and clause 39.4 lets it act at its sole discretion. The glossary counts any position closed inside five minutes as scalping.

What it costsTier 5 asks your friend to deposit $25,001 and trade 8,000 standard lots round trip. At 100,000 units of base currency a lot, that is 800 million units of turnover, and the table still pays $100.

Basic accounts open at 1:400 leverage and the account page says 1:200

Clause 10.24 sets Basic and Classic accounts at 1:400 leverage. The Sky Links Capital account types page gives a maximum of 1:200, and the FAQ says 1:400. Clause 11.7 leaves any shortfall after liquidation for you to cover, and the stop out level is a blank space in the contract.

Risk controls2 clauses flagged

The account types page puts the stop out at 30% for all four accounts. The FAQ says 50% and points you to the agreement for detail. In the agreement the figure is an empty bracket.

Why this matters

The stop out is the point where Sky Links Capital closes every position you hold. You cannot work out from the documents where that point is, and the contract you signed does not state it.

Exhibit 13WarningRarely seen50%

If, at any time, the Client's Equity falls below the mutually agreed percentage (%) equity of the Necessary Margin, the Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to close any or all of the Client's Open Positions without prior notice or the Client's consent.

Sky Links Capital tells you in its FAQ that you can apply for up to 10 accounts in your own name. Clause 2.13 permits only one active account and lets the firm merge the rest into a single account.

Why this matters

Open several accounts to separate strategies or currencies, and the firm can consolidate them. Other clauses let it combine your balances across accounts and set one off against another.

Exhibit 17WarningStandard wording10

Arbitration in Mauritius, before two arbitrators, with your objections waived

Clause 19.3 sends every dispute with Sky Links Capital to the Mauritius International Arbitration Centre, seated in Mauritius, before two arbitrators. The agreement sets no way to break a tie between them. The introducing broker agreement names a different Mauritian centre for the same kind of dispute.

Where you would argue it1 clause flagged

Every dispute goes to arbitration at the Mauritius International Arbitration Centre, seated in Mauritius, before two arbitrators. You waive any objection to the venue being inconvenient.

Why this matters

Taking a claim means arbitrating in Mauritius whatever country you live in. The agreement sets no way to break a tie between the two arbitrators, and the introducing broker agreement names a different Mauritian centre for the same kind of dispute.

Paperwork and deadlines2 clauses flagged

Where Sky Links Capital takes your deposit before your paperwork is complete, you have 10 working days to supply the rest. Miss it and the firm can close your open positions, refund the balance and terminate the account.

Sky Links Capital says publicly that introducing brokers can earn up to $20 for every lot their clients trade. The introducing broker agreement forbids the introducer from telling any client what share it receives.

Twelve months idle closes the account, six years moves the money

Sky Links Capital charges no inactivity fee, which puts it ahead of many brokers. Clause 15.10 makes an account dormant after 12 months and clause 15.11 closes it 12 months later. Clause 26.10 lets the firm release what is left out of the segregated client account after six years.

Leaving it alone1 clause flagged

An account with no trading, or a zero balance, becomes dormant after 12 months and counts as closed 12 months after that. After six years of no activity Sky Links Capital can release what is left out of the segregated client account.

Why this matters

Getting a closed account back means passing identity checks again, funding it, placing a trade and waiting for approval. Sky Links Capital charges no inactivity fee, so nothing eats the balance, but the protection around it can end.

The order execution policy does not name the company it binds

Every mention of the firm in the Sky Links Capital order execution policy is a row of underscores. It describes an MT4 dealing desk, while the broker trades on MT5. The swap free terms take effect from a date left blank, and your contract is with the Mauritius company rather than the UAE arm on the home page.

The document set2 clauses flagged

Every place the firm's name should appear in the Sky Links Capital order execution policy is a row of underscores. The document describes a dealing desk on the MT4 platform, and the broker trades on MT5.

Why this matters

The policy that governs how your orders are filled has been published without being finished. The swap free terms take effect from a date left blank, and the agreement's glossary describes account types the firm does not offer.

Our readingLegal documents are often built from templates. Publishing one in ten languages with the firm's own name left as a blank line, alongside a blank effective date in another, means the paperwork was never completed.

The English home page leads with the UAE arm, Sky Links Capital L.L.C., and its CMA licence. Your contract is with Sky Links Capital Limited in Mauritius, under FSC licence GB24202837.

Why this matters

The entity whose licence you see first cannot hold your money or execute your trades, and says so on its own website. The money and the trading sit with the Mauritius company, and so does any claim you bring.

The Company "Sky Links Capital Limited" is a firm which holds a Global Business License, and an Investment Dealer (Full- Service Dealer, Excluding Underwriting) License issued by the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius with License Number GB24202837.

The documents this reading is based on

12 files, all published by Sky Links Capital. Each shows when we read it and a fingerprint of its wording.

WIKILIX keeps the copy of each file it read, and does not republish it: what is published is the fingerprint of its wording. Download the file yourself and hash its text, lowercased with runs of whitespace collapsed, and a matching fingerprint means the wording quoted above is still the wording Sky Links Capital publishes.

Who the contract is with

Sky Links Capital Limited

You contract with Sky Links Capital Limited, a Mauritius company holding FSC licence GB24202837. Clause 1.2 names it as the firm you deal with, and clause 2.10 says it handles all payments. The English home page leads instead with the UAE arm, Sky Links Capital L.L.C., and its CMA licence number 20200000235. That arm says on its own site that it does not hold client funds or execute trades. Sky Links Holding Ltd in the DIFC is a holding company and takes no client business.

Quotations are copied verbatim from the documents named above, with the clause number and the page each one came from. Where a clause is quoted in another language, the original is shown first and the English is a translation.

The plain-language parts, what a clause means for a client, how ordinary it is, and how it reads against a regulated standard, are WIKILIX's analysis and are labelled as such on every card. This is a reading of public documents, not legal advice and not an allegation of wrongdoing.

In fairness, and what we could not check

A reader who knows the edges of the work can trust the middle of it

All nine legal documents sit in one footer list, free to download, with no login and no email required. The UAE arm says on its own site that its role begins and ends with the introduction, and that it does not hold client funds or execute trades. The FAQ says there are no inactivity fees, and we found no inactivity fee in any document. Clause 25.3.4 promises withdrawal requests are processed the same day, or the next business day if they arrive out of hours.

The 46 page agreement comes from two sources. The review uses the PDF up to clause 34. Clauses 34 to 42 and the glossary come from the broker's own web version of the same agreement, and every quotation names its source copy. The review covers half of the 90 page money laundering manual. A file comparison shows six earlier copies archived in July 2025 are identical to today's files. The review does not cover the signup form, so the countries it accepts are unknown. We do not report how deep each clause sits in the agreement, because a depth measured on part of a document would be wrong.

How to check any of this yourself

Every quote above links to the Sky Links Capital file it came from. This is what to do with it.

Open the three stepsFind the words in the source, work out the fingerprint, and read what a difference does and does not prove.

Open the source and search for the words

Every quote has a link under it. Open the file, or the web page, and search it for the words we quote. The clause number next to the quote tells you where to look.

If the words are not there any more, the source may have changed after we read it. That is worth knowing too. We keep the date we read it, and a code worked out from its wording, so the quote stays checkable.

What a fingerprint is

A fingerprint is a code worked out from what a source says. Change one word and the code changes completely. We keep two codes for every file we read, and the panel on each source shows both.

The first is the code of the exact file we downloaded. The second is the code of its wording alone, with capital letters lowered and runs of spaces collapsed. When the same words are saved as a new file, the first code changes and the second one stays the same.

Only the first code can be worked out on your own computer. Save the file, then run one of these, putting the name of the file you saved where the example is. The panel on each source prints the command with that source's real file name already in it.

macOS or Linux:
  shasum -a 256 the-file-you-saved.pdf

Windows:
  certutil -hashfile the-file-you-saved.pdf SHA256

The two codes are different from each other, and they are not meant to match. Comparing one against the other proves nothing.

What a difference means, and what it does not

A different file code on its own proves nothing. A PDF saved again with a new date inside it is a new file saying exactly the same thing.

A different wording code means the words themselves changed. That is the one that matters, and it is why we keep it.

Even then, a change is not proof of bad faith. Companies update their documents. What this report says is what the document said on the day we read it, and every quote carries that date.

A source that is a web page and not a file has no file to save, so only the code of its wording is shown.

How this report is made

Every clause quoted above comes from a document Sky Links Capital publishes on its own website, downloaded and hashed on the date shown, with the clause number and page recorded so any reader can check it. We do not allege anything the documents do not say, and we do not judge Sky Links Capital on anything other than its own published terms and its own public marketing. Where a clause has a qualifier that softens it, the report says so. Last read Oct 11, 2026.

If you represent Sky Links Capital and a clause has changed, been withdrawn, or is being read out of context, tell us and we will re-read the documents and update this page. Corrections from the broker are welcome and are published with the reading they change. Contact us.

This is a reading of a contract, not legal advice and not a ruling on Sky Links Capital. Whether its licence is real and current is a separate check on the broker profile.
