Is SuperForex a scam?

Likely scamHIGH confidence
Collapsed offshore broker, withdrawals unpaid

Yes, treat SuperForex as a likely scam: its Belize licence is gone, it took deposits after announcing a shutdown, and clients report unpaid withdrawals.

  • Regulators in Spain (June 2024), New Zealand (November 2024) and Japan (November 2024) warned that SuperForex and its operator, Finateqs Corp, were not authorised to serve their residents.
  • Finateqs Corp is not on the Belize Financial Services Commission's public register, and SuperForex deleted the licence section from its regulation page in mid-2024 while still calling itself regulated.
  • On 3 September 2024 SuperForex said it would stop taking customers and end its services, yet its site kept offering live accounts and clients describe deposits made in late 2024 and 2025.
  • Trustpilot reviewers describe refused or stalled withdrawals, with amounts and account numbers, from July 2024 to June 2025. superforex.com has since gone offline and superforexid.com now has a new owner.
  • We assess the risk of fraud as high, although we found no court or regulator finding of fraud; the warnings concern unauthorised business.

Worst area: Critical
SeverityLowModerateHighCritical

Regulation

9/10 · Critical

No licence in force: Finateqs Corp is absent from the Belize FSC register and regulators in Spain, New Zealand and Japan have named SuperForex as unauthorised; it did once hold a real Belize licence.

Identity & transparency

6/10 · High

A real Belize company named for years, but the entity disclosure vanished between 2024 and 2025, contacts spread across Belize, Bulgaria and messaging apps, and the transfer notice hid the receiving broker.

Withdrawals & conduct

8/10 · Critical

Fund-integrity pattern meets all four tests: the same refused or stalled withdrawals, clustered July 2024 to June 2025, on Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army, with amounts and account numbers.

Reputation

8/10 · Critical

Trustpilot 1.9 from 610 reviews with the profile closed, reviews.io 2.1 with fake positive reviews removed, plus three regulator warnings.

Website claims

8/10 · Critical

Kept the title Regulated Broker by IFSC and an Open a Live Account button after dropping its licence section and announcing it would stop serving clients, and claimed an unverifiable compensation fund.

Operational history

6/10 · High

Verified operation since at least 2017, but the business wound down between 2024 and 2025 and abandoned its domains, so longevity offers little comfort.

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

Three regulators have named this operation, its only licence has disappeared from the register, and the way it shut down left client money exposed. Together these put the risk at 76%, in the likely-scam range.

  • Regulator warnings. Spain's CNMV warned about superforex.com/es on 3 June 2024. New Zealand's FMA warned about SuperForex on 7 November 2024 and, in an update of 17 January 2025, reported people presenting themselves as SuperForex brokers on Telegram and urging New Zealanders to invest. Japan's Financial Services Agency lists Finateqs Corp, service name SuperForex, for soliciting derivatives trading without registration.
  • No licence in force. The Belize FSC's public register lists brokers such as XM Global, RoboForex and Axiory as active but has no entry for Finateqs Corp, SuperFin or SuperForex. SuperForex's regulation page showed a Belize FSC License section and a certificate in April 2024; by mid-July 2024 both were gone, while the page title still read 'Superforex is Regulated Broker by IFSC' in May 2025. Its Trustpilot company description still says it is licensed by the IFSC.
  • A shutdown with no clear way out for clients. The 3 September 2024 notice said SuperForex would take no new customers and discontinue services, and asked clients to agree in writing to move their balances to a brokerage it did not name. Ten months later the homepage still offered 'Open a Live Account'.
  • A withdrawal pattern, not isolated gripes. On Trustpilot (610 reviews, score 1.9) reviewers describe the same failure: withdrawals refused or left pending for weeks or months, with details such as a $160 Litecoin deposit from November 2024 and a $98 withdrawal rejected on account 1657299. Most of these fall between July 2024 and June 2025, and Forex Peace Army threads record earlier deposit and withdrawal disputes.
  • A vanishing identity. superforexid.com named Finateqs Corp as operator in August 2024, but by January 2025 superforex.com named no company at all. superforex.com then stopped loading, and superforexid.com lapsed and passed to a new registrant in June 2026.
  • Why not the top band. The three hard findings are warnings about unauthorised business, not findings that client money was taken, and no regulator or court has ruled on the unpaid withdrawals.
  • Age. The public Belize company record does not show when Finateqs Corp was incorporated, so the provable age rests on the superforex.com domain (registered 2005) and archived pages from 2017. Treat that as an upper bound; it does not affect this verdict.

15 against1 in favour
  • E1Japan's Financial Services Agency lists Finateqs Corp among unregistered firms for soliciting over-the-counter derivatives trading online, stating that its service name is SuperForex (November 2024).

  • E2New Zealand's FMA warned on 7 November 2024 that SuperForex is not registered or authorised, listing superforex.com, superforexs.com, superforexglobal.com, the Albert Hoy Avenue address in Belize City and a Sofia address. An update of 17 January 2025 reports a person using the alias James Brown contacting investors on Telegram to invest with SuperForex.

  • E3Spain's CNMV published a warning on 3 June 2024 naming https://superforex.com/es as an entity not authorised to provide investment services; the IOSCO record of the alert names SUPERFOREX and Finateqs Corp.

  • E4The Belize Financial Services Commission's public register has no entry for Finateqs Corp, SuperFin or SuperForex under any status, and none under licence number 000160, while it lists XM Global, RoboForex and Axiory as active securities licensees.

  • E5SuperForex's regulation page carried a Belize FSC License section and a licence certificate link in April 2024. By 16 July 2024 both had been removed, yet in May 2025 the page title still read 'Superforex is Regulated Broker by IFSC' and the line 'Licensed broker is' was left blank.

  • E6On 3 September 2024 SuperForex announced it would accept no new customers and discontinue services, and asked clients to agree in writing to the transfer of their accounts and balances to a brokerage it did not name.

  • E7Trustpilot shows 610 reviews for superforex.com with a score of 1.9 (263 one-star) and marks the profile closed because the website has closed. Reviews from April to June 2025 describe refused or unpaid withdrawals with specifics, including a withdrawal of a $160 Litecoin deposit made in November 2024 still pending after more than two months, and a $2,270 bonus-inflated balance of which only $64 could be withdrawn and never arrived.

  • E8In July 2025, ten months after the shutdown notice, the superforex.com homepage still invited visitors to Open a Live Account and linked to the client registration page.

  • E9Trustpilot's profile for the client area my.superforex.com records complaints from July and August 2024 of a $98 withdrawal rejected on account 1657299, a deposit not credited for weeks, and a withdrawal pending for two weeks on account 1570164.

  • E10Forex Peace Army threads record a May 2020 complaint alleging a $53,000 deposit mishandled through a SuperForex staff member alongside withdrawal problems, and a March 2024 report of an internal transfer missing for five days.

  • E11reviews.io rates superforex.com 2.1 from 329 reviews, with 28% of reviewers recommending it, and displays a notice that fake positive reviews were removed from the profile.

    Moderatereviews.io
  • E12The operating company disappeared from the site: superforexid.com stated it was operated by Finateqs Corp in August 2024, while superforex.com pages from January 2025 name no legal entity at all.

  • E13superforex.com is still registered (since 31 January 2005) but has had no nameservers since a change on 30 March 2026, so the site and client area no longer load.

  • E14superforexid.com, SuperForex's Indonesian site from 2018 to 2024, lapsed and shows a fresh registration on 26 June 2026 through a Czech registrar. Its current certificate, issued 15 August 2026, is shared with the Chinese domain d3h.cn, and the server returns an error. Nothing ties the new registrant to SuperForex.

  • E15A newer brand, SuperFin (superfin.global, registered 4 February 2025), uses SuperForex's former company name, SuperFin Corp, and repeats its award list from 2015 to 2023. It names entities in Saint Vincent and Australia and presents an Australian company number (ACN 687 282 499) as an ASIC licence number. Common control with SuperForex is not established.

  • E16The regulation page claimed Finateqs Corp was a member of an Investor Compensation Fund paying up to €20,000 if the broker became insolvent, but named no fund operator or membership number; Belize-licensed brokers are not covered by a statutory compensation scheme.

  • E17FastBull's BrokersView lists Finateqs Corp's Belize FSC licence 000160/344 as no longer authorised and notes that the SuperForex website is offline.

  • E18The FCA register returns no firm for reference number 800820 and none named SuperForex; SuperForex never claimed UK authorisation.

  • E19In June 2017 the site named SuperFin Corp. as operator, said it was regulated by the IFSC and gave an office at 5 Cork Street, Belize City, showing a real broker operating for years; the brand also holds 216 five-star Trustpilot reviews.

  • E20FINATEQS CORP. is recorded as an active Belize international business company, number 137723.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

SuperForex was a working broker for about a decade, and part of the record has a less damning reading.

  • It ran a real MetaTrader 4 business under an IFSC licence from at least 2017 and still has 216 five-star ratings on Trustpilot.
  • The three regulator warnings concern offering services without local authorisation in Spain, New Zealand and Japan. They are not findings that client money was taken, and many offshore brokers attract warnings of this kind.
  • A broker that sells its client book can legitimately ask clients to consent to a transfer, and a licence can end through voluntary surrender rather than sanction. Some clients may have been moved and paid in full.
  • The complaint sample is modest for a broker of this size, and some complaints concern bonus rules rather than missing money. One April 2025 review about a refused withdrawal also promotes a fund-recovery contact, a common bait that we discounted.
  • The Telegram brokers named by the FMA may be impostors using the SuperForex name rather than its staff.

None of this explains why the September 2024 notice named no receiving broker, why live-account sign-ups and deposits continued afterwards, or why withdrawal requests went unanswered before the websites went dark.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

We would lower this rating if SuperForex's wind-down turns out to have been orderly.

  • The receiving brokerage named in writing, with its licence, confirming that SuperForex client balances arrived in full.
  • A Belize FSC notice showing a voluntary surrender of the licence with client money returned, or a liquidator processing client claims.
  • Payment records showing that the withdrawals described on Trustpilot, including those with account numbers, were paid.
  • Any of the three regulator warnings being withdrawn because it concerned impostors rather than Finateqs Corp.

A court or regulator finding that client funds were misused would move SuperForex into the confirmed band.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

14 questions
Is SuperForex a scam?

Yes, we rate SuperForex a likely scam at 76%. Three regulators have warned about it, its Belize licence no longer appears on the register, and it kept taking deposits after announcing in September 2024 that it would stop serving customers. Clients report withdrawals that were refused or never paid before its website went offline in 2025.

Is SuperForex a fraud?

We found no court or regulator finding of fraud against SuperForex or Finateqs Corp, so we do not state that as fact. We do assess the risk of fraud as high: it solicited clients where it was not authorised, dropped its licence, and left withdrawal requests unanswered while still accepting deposits.

Is SuperForex regulated?

No. Its operator, Finateqs Corp, is not on the public register of the Belize Financial Services Commission, the only regulator SuperForex ever cited. Spain's CNMV, New Zealand's FMA and Japan's Financial Services Agency have all warned that it was not authorised in their countries.

Is SuperForex still operating?

No. On 3 September 2024 it announced that it would take no new customers and discontinue services. superforex.com no longer loads, its Trustpilot profile is marked closed, and its Indonesian domain superforexid.com has had a new registrant since June 2026.

Can I withdraw my money from SuperForex?

Probably not through the broker, because its website and client area are gone. Gather your account details and records, complain to the Belize FSC and your national regulator, and ask your bank or payment provider about a dispute. Do not pay anyone who promises to release your balance for a fee.

Who owns SuperForex?

SuperForex was run by Finateqs Corp., a Belize international business company with number 137723; in earlier years the site named the operator SuperFin Corp. Regulators list its address as Second Floor, No. 24 Albert Hoy Avenue, Belize City, and an office in Sofia, Bulgaria. The company still shows as active in the Belize company record.

Is superforexid.com the official SuperForex website?

Not any more. It was SuperForex's Indonesian site from 2018 to 2024 and said it was operated by Finateqs Corp, but the registration lapsed. A new registrant took the domain on 26 June 2026, and we found nothing tying the new owner to SuperForex.

What happened to SuperForex's Belize licence?

SuperForex advertised an IFSC licence from Belize for years and linked a licence certificate on its regulation page until April 2024. By July 2024 that section had been removed, and today the Belize FSC register has no entry for Finateqs Corp under any status. Even when it was held, the licence offered no compensation scheme.

Which regulators have warned about SuperForex?

Spain's CNMV (3 June 2024, superforex.com/es), New Zealand's FMA (7 November 2024, updated 17 January 2025) and Japan's Financial Services Agency (November 2024, naming Finateqs Corp). All three warnings concern offering trading services without local authorisation.

Is SuperFin the same company as SuperForex?

We could not establish that. SuperFin at superfin.global, registered in February 2025, uses SuperForex's old company name and repeats its full list of awards, but it names entities in Saint Vincent and Australia and presents an Australian company number as if it were an ASIC licence. Treat any claim that SuperForex balances moved there with caution until you have written proof.

Is SuperForex a clone of another broker?

No. SuperForex was its own brand and did not borrow another firm's licence. The risk now runs the other way: look-alike domains such as superforexs.com and superforexglobal.com appear in the FMA warning, and the old superforexid.com domain has a new owner.

How long did SuperForex operate?

It claimed to start in 2013, archived pages show SuperFin Corp. running superforex.com by June 2017, and the superforex.com domain dates from 2005. It announced its wind-down in September 2024 and its website closed during 2025, so it traded for roughly a decade.

What should I do if I lost money with SuperForex?

Keep every record, report the loss to the Belize FSC, your national regulator and the police, and contact your bank or card issuer quickly. Be wary of fund-recovery offers, which are a common second scam aimed at people who have already lost money.

What should I check before depositing with any broker?

Look the firm up on the regulator's own register, matching the legal entity and the website, and search the regulator's warning list and IOSCO I-SCAN for the brand and domain. Be wary of very large deposit bonuses, offshore-only licences and account managers who contact you on messaging apps.

What we recommend

The practical takeaway from everything above.

Our advice

Do not send money to anything trading as SuperForex, and treat anyone offering to handle old SuperForex accounts with suspicion.

  • Avoid superforexid.com, superforexs.com and superforexglobal.com. The first has a new owner and the other two appear in the New Zealand FMA warning.
  • Ignore Telegram or WhatsApp account managers who offer to move or release SuperForex balances; the FMA has named such contacts.
  • Be cautious with SuperFin (superfin.global): it reuses SuperForex's awards and old company name, and who runs it is unclear.
  • If you are owed money, keep your account number, deposit receipts, withdrawal requests and emails, and file complaints with the Belize Financial Services Commission (complaints@belizefsc.org.bz) and your national regulator.
  • If you paid by card or e-wallet, ask your bank or payment provider about a chargeback or dispute.
  • Never pay a fee or tax to recover funds; recovery offers aimed at former SuperForex clients are a known follow-up scam.
  • Before using any broker, confirm its licence on the regulator's own register rather than on the broker's website.

This is an independent assessment of risk, not a legal ruling. Scores and verdicts follow the Wikilix broker-safety methodology and can change as new evidence appears.
