Is Trader’s Way a scam?

Likely scamMEDIUM confidence
Unlicensed offshore broker under regulator warnings

Trader’s Way is likely a scam risk: it holds no licence, and regulators in the US, Spain and Malaysia have warned about tradersway.com.

  • No licence. The company states on its own site that no financial regulator supervises it, that no compensation scheme covers client accounts and that it is the counterparty to every CFD trade.
  • Regulator warnings. The US CFTC has listed tradersway.com on its RED List since 2015, Spain’s CNMV warned about the site in 2019 and the Securities Commission Malaysia added it to its Investor Alert List in 2023.
  • Reversed profits. Clients on Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army reported profitable trades cancelled for 'incorrect pricing', most clearly on 27 March 2020, and withdrawal delays between 2016 and 2019, many of them later resolved.
  • A real, long-running operation. Trader’s Way has traded from the same domain since 2011, and many long-standing clients report withdrawals paid within two days.

Regulation

7/10 · High

No licence anywhere, the site admits no regulator supervises it, and the CFTC, CNMV and SC Malaysia all name tradersway.com; not 10 because it does not fake a licence.

Identity & transparency

4/10 · Moderate

TW Corp LLC is disclosed and active on the Anguilla register with a public LEI, but owners are not named and the company has changed jurisdiction twice since 2022.

Withdrawals & conduct

6/10 · High

A real pattern of reversed profits (Aug 2017, Mar 2020) and withdrawal delays (2016 to 2019) on two platforms, offset by many paid-out clients and complaints the broker answered or resolved.

Reputation

7/10 · High

Reviews are mixed (Trustpilot 4.7 from 65, Forex Peace Army 3.46 from 380), but four regulators have named the site and the reversed-profit reports span two platforms.

Website claims

6/10 · High

Honest regulatory-status page, but 'Your investments are protected' and a no-dealing-desk promise contradict its own statement that it is the counterparty with no compensation scheme.

Operational history

Why we reached this verdict

How the evidence adds up.

Regulator notices that name tradersway.com itself drive this rating, and a long record of disputes over reversed profits supports it. Trader’s Way holds no licence anywhere and says so.

  • No licence, by its own account. Its regulatory-status page says no financial regulator supervises the service, no compensation scheme or ombudsman covers accounts, and the company is the counterparty to all CFD trades and may act as market maker. It takes deposits from 10 USD with leverage up to 1:1000.
  • United States. Since 21 August 2015 the Commodity Futures Trading Commission has listed Trader’s Way (tradersway.com, owned and operated by TW Corp of Dominica) on its RED List of foreign firms that solicit or accept US customers without the required registration. Missouri’s Securities Division issued an order to cease and desist against it in 2016 (case AP-16-46).
  • Spain. The CNMV warned on 2 December 2019 that www.tradersway.com, recorded under the names Traders Way and TW Corp, is not authorised. IOSCO’s I-SCAN network relays the same warning.
  • Malaysia. The Securities Commission Malaysia lists Trader’s Way, tradersway.com and its Telegram channel t.me/tw_eng on its Investor Alert List (2023) for unlicensed dealing in securities.
  • Reversed profits. On 27 March 2020 three clients posted on Trustpilot and Forex Peace Army. One said winning trades vanished and a balance of about 5,000 USD fell to 1,300 USD. Another said an account grown to 9,500 and then 13,000 USD was reset after positions were invalidated for 'incorrect pricing'. A third disputed a 42,000 USD withdrawal. A similar pricing dispute arose in late August 2017.
  • Withdrawal delays. Forex Peace Army holds problem reports about delayed withdrawals from 2016 to 2019, from about 3,000 EUR to 24,979 USD. Most were later marked resolved, and the archived problem list shows no new threads after September 2020.
  • Claims that clash with its own disclosures. The homepage says 'Your investments are protected' (on 1 January 2026 it said 'guaranteed safe'), and the Safety of Funds page promises a no-dealing-desk setup with no dealing manipulation. The regulatory page says there is no compensation scheme and that the company is the counterparty.
  • How the figure is set. The weighted scorecard averages 5.9 out of 10. Regulator notices that name the website itself raise the overall figure to 70 percent.

  • E1The CFTC RED List has carried Trader's Way since 21 August 2015: website tradersway.com, origin Dominica, owned and operated by TW Corp, offering over-the-counter forex and precious metals. The list covers foreign firms that solicit or accept US customers without the required CFTC registration.

  • E2Spain's CNMV issued a warning on 2 December 2019 about the unauthorised entity WWW.TRADERSWAY.COM, recorded with the names Traders Way and TW Corp. The warning carries no removal date, and IOSCO's I-SCAN relays it.

  • E3The Securities Commission Malaysia Investor Alert List names Trader’s Way with tradersway.com and t.me/tw_eng (the Telegram channel linked from the broker's site), added in 2023, for carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities. The SC update of 14 February 2023 announced the addition.

  • E4The broker's regulatory-status page, dated 11 August 2026, says no financial regulator supervises the service, no compensation scheme or ombudsman covers accounts, and the company is the counterparty to all CFD trades and may act as market maker. The site takes deposits from 10 USD with leverage up to 1:1000.

  • E5Forex Peace Army problem reports for tradersway.com include withdrawal delays from 2016 to 2019 (about 3,000 EUR to 24,979 USD, most later marked resolved) and two threads on 27 March 2020 reporting profitable positions invalidated for 'incorrect pricing' and a disputed 42,000 USD withdrawal. An August 2017 thread reported a pricing problem the broker told clients it was investigating. The archived list shows no new problem threads after September 2020.

  • E6Low-star Trustpilot reviews include a 27 March 2020 report that winning trades vanished and a balance fell from about 5,000 to 1,300 USD (the same day as the Forex Peace Army reports), a 2020 withdrawal stalled for three weeks, 2019 and 2024 reports of trades the clients say they did not place (with account and order numbers), and a 2024 claim of being asked to add money to release a withdrawal that the broker said it could not find on record.

  • E7Missouri Securities Division case AP-16-46 is a 2016 order to cease and desist against Trader’s Way over business done through tradersway.com without registration in Missouri.

  • E8The homepage tells visitors 'Your investments are protected' and that Trader’s Way is 'officially registered'. The archived homepage of 1 January 2026 said 'Your investments are guaranteed safe'. No regulator, compensation scheme or ombudsman stands behind either statement, as the broker's own regulatory page concedes.

  • E9The Safety of Funds page promises a full no-dealing-desk setup in which clients 'will never experience any dealing manipulation' and says all accounts are STP/ECN, while the regulatory-status page says the company is the counterparty to every CFD trade and may act as market maker.

  • E10The payment terms let the company charge deposit fees back to clients who withdraw without 'adequate trading activity', judged case by case at the discretion of back-end management. Funding runs mainly through crypto (Bitcoin, Tether, Toncoin and others), Skrill, Neteller and local transfers in India and Nigeria, and the 100% deposit bonus is released only by daily trading volume.

  • E11The site runs in 18 languages, including Spanish, Malay, Japanese and Portuguese for Brazil, and offers local payment in India and Nigeria, with no authorisation in any of those markets. It says it does not target US residents, yet US clients have reviewed it for years, and a 2024 Trustpilot review says older US accounts lost MT4 and MT5 access.

  • E12The Anguilla Commercial Registry lists TW Corp LLC, registration A000001731, as an active limited liability company registered on 27 November 2023, with its registered office at the Cassius Webster Building in The Valley (agent Fortgate Corporate Services), annual returns for 2024 and 2025 and a certificate of good standing dated 2 October 2025. The entity named on the site is real and in good standing.

  • E13LEI 254900O5YYWBKYSM2566 belongs to TW Corp LLC, Anguilla, with an entity creation date of 17 January 2011, first issued on 25 October 2017 and renewed to February 2027. Its history shows a change of legal form effective 28 March 2022, validation against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines number 2067 LLC 2022, and a move of legal and head-office address to Anguilla effective 26 November 2023.

  • E14tradersway.com was registered on 13 December 2010 (Verisign RDAP). The Internet Archive holds yearly copies from April 2011 to 2026, and the January 2012 homepage already names TW Corp., 8 Copthall, Roseau Valley, Commonwealth of Dominica. The 'since 2011' claim is accurate.

  • E15Trustpilot shows 65 reviews for www.tradersway.com with a TrustScore of 4.7 (63 percent five-star, 15 percent one-star). Several long-term clients report withdrawals paid within a day or two, and the broker replies to complaints with specific explanations. Trustpilot also notes that the company has received regulatory attention and that only 4 reviews arrived in the last 12 months.

  • E16Forex Peace Army, archived in May 2026, shows 380 reviews for TradersWay.com averaging 3.46 out of 5. Recent reviews from 2021 to 2024 are split between praise for withdrawals within 48 hours and complaints about spreads and disputed closing prices.

  • E17The FCA Financial Services Register returns no firm or warning for 'traders way' or 'tradersway', contrary to claims on some review sites that the FCA has warned about the broker.

  • E18The Anguilla Financial Services Commission's investor-alert index has no alert naming TW Corp LLC or Trader’s Way. It carries a general alert on unregulated forex and binary-options business.

  • E19An unrelated operation called BitPro Traders Way (bitprotradersway.com) appears in a US SEC alert of 4 June 2026 relayed on IOSCO's I-SCAN. It shares no domain or entity with tradersway.com and is not attributed to this broker.

The other side

The strongest case in this broker’s favour.

The best case for Trader’s Way is that it is a real broker that has paid many clients since 2011 and is unusually open about being unregulated.

  • It has traded under the same name and domain since 2011, and archived pages from January 2012 already name TW Corp.
  • TW Corp LLC is active on the Anguilla register, with annual returns for 2024 and 2025 and a certificate of good standing issued in October 2025, and it keeps a public LEI.
  • Its regulatory-status page states plainly that no regulator supervises it and that the company is the counterparty, which many offshore brokers never admit.
  • Trustpilot shows 65 reviews averaging 4.7 and Forex Peace Army 380 reviews averaging 3.46. Many long-term clients report withdrawals within 48 hours, and the broker answers complaints in public with specific explanations.
  • Many Forex Peace Army complaint threads from 2015 to 2019 were marked resolved, and the archived problem list shows no new threads after September 2020.
  • None of the regulator notices we read accuses it of fraud. They concern doing business without authorisation. The FCA register has no entry or warning for it, and the Anguilla Financial Services Commission has issued no alert naming it.
  • Some complaints may involve impostors. In one 2024 case of a client asked to pay more to release a withdrawal, the broker said it had no record of the account. An unrelated operation, BitPro Traders Way (bitprotradersway.com), was named by the US SEC in 2026.

What would change this

What we would need to see to revise the verdict.

The rating would fall if Trader’s Way became properly licensed, and rise if new evidence of clients losing money appeared.

  • Lower risk: a licence from a recognised regulator held by the entity that takes client money, with client funds segregated and independently audited.
  • Lower risk: the CFTC, CNMV or Securities Commission Malaysia removing their notices.
  • Lower risk: several more years of clean withdrawals with no reversed trades, and owners named publicly.
  • Higher risk: a new cluster of refused withdrawals or cancelled profits, or a confirmed demand for a fee before funds are released.
  • Higher risk: a regulator or court finding of fraud, the site going offline, or another unexplained change of jurisdiction.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about this broker’s safety.

13 questions
Is Trader’s Way a scam?

We rate Trader’s Way a likely scam risk. It holds no licence, and regulators in the US, Spain and Malaysia have named tradersway.com in warnings. It is also a real broker that has traded since 2011 and pays many clients, so the main dangers are having no protection if something goes wrong and a record of reversed profits.

Is Trader’s Way a fraud?

We found no court ruling or regulator finding of fraud against Trader’s Way, and the regulator notices we read concern operating without authorisation rather than fraud. Clients have, however, accused it of reversing profitable trades, which it put down to incorrect pricing.

Is Trader’s Way regulated?

No. Its own regulatory-status page says no financial regulator supervises the service and no compensation scheme covers client accounts. TW Corp LLC is a registered company in Anguilla, which is not a trading licence.

Which regulators have warned about Trader’s Way?

The US CFTC added Trader’s Way to its RED List on 21 August 2015, and Missouri’s Securities Division ordered it to cease and desist in 2016. Spain’s CNMV warned about www.tradersway.com on 2 December 2019, and the Securities Commission Malaysia added it to its Investor Alert List in February 2023.

Who owns and runs Trader’s Way?

The site names TW Corp LLC, registered in Anguilla under number A000001731, with an operating address in Valjevo, Serbia. The company began in Dominica as TW Corp. and moved to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in 2022 and to Anguilla in November 2023. Its owners are not named publicly.

How long has Trader’s Way been in business?

Since 2011, and that claim holds up. The domain tradersway.com was registered in December 2010, archived copies of the site go back to April 2011, and the company's LEI record gives a creation date of 17 January 2011.

Can I withdraw my money from Trader’s Way?

Many clients report withdrawals paid within 48 hours, mostly through crypto and e-wallets. But there is a long record of complaints about delayed withdrawals (2016 to 2019, many later resolved) and about profitable trades being cancelled. The terms also let the company charge deposit fees back if it judges your trading activity inadequate.

Is my money safe with Trader’s Way?

Not in the way it would be at a regulated broker. There is no regulator, no compensation scheme and no ombudsman, and the company is the counterparty to your trades. The homepage line 'Your investments are protected' is not backed by any outside protection.

Does the Anguilla registration mean Trader’s Way is licensed?

No. The Anguilla Commercial Registry shows TW Corp LLC as an active limited liability company, which proves the company exists. It is not a licence to offer forex or CFD trading, and the company itself says no regulator supervises it.

Does Trader’s Way accept clients from the US or UK?

The site says its services are not directed at US or UK residents. The CFTC still lists it for soliciting or accepting US customers without registration, and US clients have posted reviews of trading there for years, including a 2024 complaint that older US accounts lost MT4 and MT5 access.

Is Trader’s Way a clone, and are there fake Trader’s Way sites?

Trader’s Way is not a clone. It uses its own company name and has run tradersway.com since 2011. Some complaints may come from impostors, so use only tradersway.com and its own subdomains. BitPro Traders Way (bitprotradersway.com), named by the US SEC in 2026, is a different operation.

What should I do if I lost money with Trader’s Way?

Write to helpdesk@tradersway.com with your account number, order numbers and dates, and keep copies of everything. Report the case to your national financial regulator and to your payment provider if you paid by card or e-wallet. Ignore anyone who offers to recover funds for an upfront fee.

What should I check before depositing with Trader’s Way?

Check whether your own regulator lists it, read the payment terms and bonus conditions, and test a small withdrawal first. Leverage up to 1:1000 with no regulator behind the broker magnifies both your losses and the cost of any dispute.

Our advice

If you are considering Trader’s Way, treat any deposit as money you could lose with no one outside the company to complain to.

  • Check your own country's regulator first. The US, Spain and Malaysia have already named tradersway.com, and dealing with an unauthorised firm can leave you without legal protection.
  • Prefer a broker licensed where you live. Trader’s Way has no compensation scheme or ombudsman behind it, and it trades against you as counterparty.
  • If you still go ahead, start small and make a test withdrawal before adding more. Keep your account number, order numbers and copies of every message.
  • Read the payment terms: withdrawals up to the amount deposited must go back by the deposit method, and the company may charge deposit fees back if it judges your trading activity inadequate. Bonus money is released only by trading volume.
  • Use only tradersway.com and its own subdomains, protect your email and devices with strong passwords and two-factor sign-in, and never pay a fee, tax or unlock charge to release a withdrawal.
  • If something goes wrong, write to helpdesk@tradersway.com with dates and order numbers, report the case to your national regulator, and ignore anyone offering to recover your money for an upfront fee.
