Most Popular Questions

It depends on which Vantage company holds the account. The states that a payment made in connection with an order, a margin call or a deposit immediately purchases a reciprocal obligation from Vantage and is expressly not client money, and it defines a deposit as a part payment toward an agreed order value rather than client monies. The United Kingdom entity, Vantage Global Prime LLP, is separately permitted by the Financial Conduct Authority to hold and control client money, so the position is not the same across the group. Anyone funding an account should read the agreement of the company named in their own account documents.

Yes. The Swap Free account charges no swap or interest on positions held overnight and is aimed at traders whose religious beliefs prohibit paying or receiving swap. An administration fee is applied to those positions instead and deducted from the account balance; Vantage does not publish the amount of that fee, so ask support for it before relying on the account.

Vantage is run by a group of companies rather than one. The global website names VIG Group in Mauritius as its operator, while the Australian company VANTAGE GLOBAL PRIME PTY LTD is listed on the Australian Business Register under ACN 157 768 566 and ABN 32 157 768 566, active since 12 April 2012, as confirmed on the register on 16 October 2026. The other companies Vantage names are Vantage Global Prime LLP in London, which holds the FCA authorisation, Vantage Markets (Pty) Ltd in South Africa, VANTAGE GLOBAL LIMITED in Vanuatu, Vantage International Group Limited, which holds the Cayman Islands licence, and V.I.S. Vantage Integrated Services Limited in Cyprus, a group payment services company the broker says does not offer regulated financial products. Which one a client contracts with depends on the site they register through, and it decides the regulator and the protections that apply.

The minimum withdrawal is 30 USD, or 3,000 JPY, and a balance below that has to be withdrawn in full. Vantage quotes 1 to 3 business days for card, local bank transfer and e-wallet withdrawals, up to 5 business days for international bank transfers, and 0 to 2 business days for cryptocurrency. Withdrawals have to go back to the payment method used for the deposit, under the broker's withdrawal policy and anti money laundering rules.

Not on most methods, but the policy reserves more than the headline suggests. Vantage states that it charges no withdrawal fee except on international bank transfers, which its English language prices at 20 units of the account's base currency, quoted also as 150 HKD or 3,000 JPY, while the Russian language version of the same policy states 25 USD. Any intermediary or correspondent bank charges on a transfer are the client's own. The same policy also reserves the right to pass on merchant fees and charge a discretionary handling fee where a client funds an account by card or e-wallet and then withdraws with no or minimal trading, so a free withdrawal is not guaranteed.

It depends on the account. The Standard STP account charges no commission and quotes variable spreads from 1.0 pip, although Vantage prints 1.1 pip for it in its comparison table, and its commission free pricing excludes selected stock and ETF CFDs. The Raw ECN account quotes from 0.0 pip plus 3.00 USD per standard lot per side on forex, the Pro ECN account 1.50 USD per side, and the Cent account from 0 to 3.00 USD per lot per side, with precious metals, ETFs and share CFDs charged at their own rates. Holding a position overnight costs more than the swap alone: the client agreement adds a transaction fee of up to 10 percent of the value of the swap charge or credit on margin forex, and the Vantage Markets agreement defines the rate used for spot CFD swaps as the liquidity provider's rate plus 3.5 percent a year.

Vantage offers five live accounts: Standard STP, Raw ECN, Pro ECN, Cent and Swap Free. Standard STP is commission free with variable spreads from 1.0 pip, Raw ECN and Pro ECN quote from 0.0 pip with commission of 3.00 USD and 1.50 USD per lot per side, Cent holds the balance in cents for small deposits, and Swap Free removes overnight interest in exchange for an administration fee. All but Pro ECN start at 50 USD; Pro ECN requires 10,000 USD and is requested from support rather than opened on demand.

Four, counting its own software. MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are both offered, each with Windows and Mac downloads, a mobile app and a browser terminal. Vantage also runs the Vantage App for iOS and Android, which switches between CFD trading and copy trading, and Vantage Web Trading, a browser terminal opened from the client portal with no download. A Vantage account can also be connected to TradingView and traded from its charts.

Vantage services are restricted in certain countries, including the USA, North Korea, and Iran, as well as other sanctioned countries. These restrictions are in place due to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Yes, by live chat, email and a help centre. Vantage states that its support team and live chat are available 24/7, and its contact page gives 24/7 for general enquiries, complaints and affiliate enquiries, all to support@vantagemarkets.com, although one copy of that table gives Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm for general enquiries. Email replies are promised within 1 to 3 business days on the contact page and described as typically a few hours in the help centre. No support telephone number is published.

Vantage lists 27 deposit channels and adds cryptocurrency through its client portal. They include Visa and Mastercard cards, JCB, Apple Pay and Google Pay, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Fasapay, Perfect Money, bitwallet, Sticpay, Astropay, international bank transfer, local bank transfers in around a dozen countries, India UPI, an Australia only domestic fast transfer, a transfer in from another broker, and USDT, USDC, Ethereum or Bitcoin on named networks only. Vantage does not publish a withdrawal list on its public pages and directs clients to the portal for the options open to them, and a withdrawal has to return to the method used for the deposit.

The headline maximum is 1:1000, but Vantage does not publish a cap on its individual account pages, which refer to flexible leverage options instead, and its account tiers carry a 1:30 figure. The leverage actually available depends on which Vantage company and jurisdiction the account is opened under. Confirm the cap for your own account with support before funding it.

The minimum deposit is 50 USD. That covers the Standard STP, Raw ECN, Cent and Swap Free accounts; the Pro ECN account needs 10,000 USD. Vantage does not publish a separate minimum for individual payment methods, so the 50 USD figure is the account minimum rather than a card or e-wallet limit.

Yes, by several authorities, though not the same one for every client. Four of the group's licences were confirmed on the issuing regulator's own register:

  • Financial Conduct Authority, United Kingdom, number 590299, held by Vantage Global Prime LLP and recorded as Authorised since 1 July 2013.
  • Financial Services Commission, Mauritius, number GB20026165, held by VIG Group as a full service investment dealer since 8 September 2021.
  • Vanuatu Financial Services Commission, number 700271, held by VANTAGE GLOBAL LIMITED.
  • Cayman Islands Monetary Authority, number 1383491, held by Vantage International Group Limited.

The first three were checked on the registers on 16 October 2026 and the Cayman entry on 27 August 2026. Vantage also publishes Australian Financial Services Licence 428901 and a South African authorisation numbered 51268. The regulator that applies to an account is the one behind the company named in that client's own agreement, so a client of the Mauritius operator is not an FCA client.

Licence GB20026165 was issued by The Financial Services Commission (FSC), the financial authority for Mauritius.
Vantage holds this FSC licence. A licence on record means the authority published an entry; it is not an endorsement.
We located this entry on the FSC register. Note that confirming a register ENTRY is not the same as confirming a live licence — the register’s own wording on this page is what states its current standing.
Wikilix rates FSC tier 3. Supervision is lighter-touch and client protections vary.
